"Rush Valley! Automail! Automail! Automail! I'm so happy!" Winry smiled and started jumping around, "Look! It's the most recent god's model!" Winry smiled looking through a window, "I never thought I'd behold such a thing with my very own eyes!" Winry cheered, the brothers sighed as I grinned at her, it was great to see Winry so excited and happy.

We were in a desert rocky valley, the heat was high, the stone was orange and the people looked hardened by the area they lived in. The place had a tinge of oil in the air and metal was noticeably placed. Everyone was running around, taking metal here and there, some people were shaping metal. There were some stores that displayed their wears, nearly everyone had a piece of automail.

"Welcome to the Holy land of automail! This place is bustling." Alphonse spoke as we followed behind an excited Winry,
"Remind me why we let ourselves get dragged out into this heat to look at a bunch of automail. We should've dropped Winry off at the station and headed straight to Dublith," Edward snapped as I smirked.

"Hey kid, come back here a sec! I've never seen an automail quite like this before," a man grabbed Edwards arm,
"It really is unusual. Everyone, take a look!" another man spoke,
"Hey… hold on a second, hey, ever heard of personal space? Quit it! No, no! don't undo that! Ahhh!" Edward yelled as I saw his clothes get thrown off, I laughed,
"don't be so rude, they just want a closer look," Winry smiled. I stood to the side with Alphonse as the men looked over Edward's automail and Winry spoke to them. I looked at Edward's body and couldn't help but notice the strength in his arm. I looked away as Alphonse looked at me,
"Everything okay, Rea?" Alphonse asked, I nodded,
"Everything is fine." I spoke.

We waited for Edward to dress again before carrying on,
"Jezz… this is why I steer clear of automail engineers," Edward spoke and then had a look of confusion on his face as he checked his pockets, "Oh no…" Edward spoke,
"what's up?" I asked,
"It's gone…" Edward started to sweat,
"What did you lose?" Winry and Alphonse asked,
"Only the thing that proves I'm a state alchemist… my silver watch… gone…" Edward spoke, we all started screaming in worry, as he searched his pockets.

"It sounds like you guys had a run in with Paninya." The automail engineer from before spoke,
"Paninya?" Edward asked,
"A pick pocket around here who likes to target tourists," the second automail engineer explained,
"Do you know how I can track down this Paninya girl? She took something important!" Edward asked,
"Let's see, where is she again," the automail engineer spoke,
"I know what might jog my memory," The second engineer looked away, "If I can have just one more look at that automail," they both spoke together. Edward glared and made a blade on his automail. "The Automail shop run by an engineer named Dominic!" They both yelled in shock scared of Edward.

We left and started asking where this Dominic person lived,
"Apparently this guy lives in the mountains because he can find the highest quality ore way out here. Are you absolutely sure we're going in the right direction? Because those engineers could've tricked us," Winry complained,
"What are you complaining about, it's all your fault for dragging us to that stupid automail town in the first place," Edward spoke. I sighed; I was used to the heat and walked ahead as they started fighting. I had a bright light flash in the corner of my eye, "Guys…" I spoke,
"What!" Edward and Winry yelled,
"Could that be her on the bridge?" I pointed, they all looked over, we could see a dark-skinned girl with brown hair in cargo pants in the distance.

"Ha! Ha! I got you now!" Edward yelled, and created havoc on the mountains with his alchemy, I sighed, and followed him. Edward chased after the girl as I followed Alphonse in another direction,
"Winry, come on." I called as she nodded and moved with us.

Alphonse managed to find an area ahead that Edward would drive Paninya down to. Suddenly, she landed in front of us as I waved,
"I've been waiting for you," Alphonse activated his transmutation, and it created a cage around Paninya,
"Nicely done, Al," Winry smiled.

Edward walked over,
"Now why don't you hand it over, my watch-" Edward jumped back as Paninya cut the bars with a knife appearing from her automail leg,
"Come on, you can't be too surprised, you've seen the town, haven't you?" Paninya smirked, "Oh and! My other legs got a 1.5-inch cannon! What do you think of that?" Paninya smiled and skipped away as Edward and Alphonse dodged the cannon, I had moved to the side and went to chase after Paninya as we moved,
"Come back!" Edward yelled,
"No way, why don't we see if you can catch me?" Paninya smirked, she was cocky.

Winry suddenly grabbed Paninya's wrist, as the girl wasn't watching where she was going,
"Well, now how do you like that, that wasn't so hard," Winry smirked,
"Nice work Winry, now don't let her get away!" Edward smiled,
"No way I'm letting her go! Not quite yet anyway, not until I've had a closer look at that automail!" Winry smiled. Edward, Alphonse, and I all fell on our faces as we got to her, not being able to believe that she was prioritising looking at her automail over something stolen.

We had followed Paninya to a house in the mountains, she wasn't best pleased about it, but Winry managed to talk her into it. The place was remote away from Rush Valley. It was interesting to travel and see the mountains around us.

We entered the house and as I followed the brothers behind, I saw a pregnant woman and a man.
"Oh, hello there Paninya… friend of yours?" a woman and a man,
"Not… really…" Paninya called.

We were all invited inside as Winry looked at Paninya's automail legs,
"I've never seen craftsmanship like this before. It has an advance suspension, and would you look at this balance! The design of this piece is truly a work of art! It's incredible!" Winry chimed and smiled as she looked over the legs,
"Er! Do you think we could have a talk about my watch?" Edward asked as he peered around,
"It's no use brother," Alphonse replied, I chuckled, Winry wasn't paying attention to anyone else,
"The work you've done is simply fantastic. You're a wonderful engineer," Winry smiled at the man by the door,
"Oh no, don't look at me Miss. I wasn't the one who made them," the man replied,
"I am," another man walked around looking a lot older, he was grumpy looking with grey hair and piercing eyes, he looked down at Edward.

Edward was once again with his trousers and top off sitting on a crate getting his automail looked at,
"This arm seems a bit heavy," Dominic said,
"Yes, I guess it is." Winry agreed,
"You want to be more careful not to strain your outfit-ee. That could be the reason why his growth is stunted," Dominic explained,
"Hey! Shut up!" Edward yelled, then he had an idea, "Wait, are you telling me if my automail was lighter I'd grow taller than this?" Edward asked, he smiled at the thought,
"It is a possibility," Dominic looked away.

I giggled at the funny face Edward had,
"Mr. Dominic, I beg you make me your apprentice!" Winry bowed forward,
"Not a chance girl," Dominic flat out declined,
"Maybe you would like more time to consider the idea?" Winry was stunted herself,
"No need, I don't take on apprentices," Dominic explained,
"I understand, but maybe you could take time out of your busy schedule to teach her how to make automail to make me taller?" Edward begged, he wanted lighter automail to help him grow taller,
"Can it, you little flee," Dominic looked away. I laughed as Edward fell on his face. Dominic walked out of the room,
"Sorry about that. My old man can be pretty stubborn," Ridel, Dominic's son spoke.

I walked behind Alphonse as he dragged Edward by his jacket,
"A little flea… he called me a flea." Edward was upset,
"Oh, you moron. The Edward I know wouldn't get so upset about a stupid little comment like that, oh…" I looked across the room and saw the woman who lived in the house was rubbing her stomach. My face lit up like a Christmas morning as I ran over to her with a great big smile on my face,
"Are you having a baby?" I smiled,
"Why yes I am, would you like to feel?" the woman smiled,
"Oh yes please!" I grinned and Satera put my hand on her stomach as I felt the baby moved inside. I loved feeling a baby inside the womb, it was crazy to think there was a little person inside.

Edward and Alphonse came over and they saw the joy in my face and Satera guided their hands to her stomach as well. We all felt the little miracle inside her,
"It's like there's a miracle in your stomach," Edward spoke,
"Yeah, we we're insides mom's tummy like this once upon a time too," Alphonse spoke,
"I can't wait till I make a miracle like this someday," I smiled, Edward looked at me in shock,
"It's something I've dreamed of since I was a little girl," I had a sad smile on my face, I know I said I wouldn't mention it again, but I wanted to explain myself to Satera. Edward put his hand on my shoulder. Satera cringed for a moment then stopped, "Are you ok?" I asked,
"Y-yeah," she smiled.

Edward and Alphonse walked out the room for a bit as you sat and talked to her,
"What's it like, to be having a baby?" I asked,
"It's a wonderful feeling, a wonderful feeling to be a mother," Satera smiled, I smiled too as she cringed again, I knelt in front of her,
"Are you sure you're, ok?" I asked in concern,
"I… agh…" Satera cringed as I saw water appear out of nowhere,
"The baby is coming…" I whispered in shock,
"I guess it's time," she smiled,
"Yeah… I'll go get help," I ran out the room,
"Sir, please it's your wife, she's going into labour…" I spoke to Ridel,
"She's… she's… what?" he was shocked,
"She's having that baby!" I yelled, Edward and Alphonse heard as they walked in, they were both panicked as I looked around for Winry.

"Go get Winry!" I said,
"R-right," Edward nodded and ran off,
"We need to get her somewhere comfortable," I spoke and walked back to the soon-to-be-mother. "Come on, let's get you somewhere comfortable, do you think you can walk, or will we have to carry you?" I asked, Satera slowly stood as I put my arm around her waist and Ridel was the other side as we walked to the bedroom slowly.

I stayed with Satera for some time as Edward, Alphonse, Winry, and Dominic spoke. Dominic ended up leaving to get the doctor himself instead of taking Satera as there was a storm raging outside.
"Pap will be right back with the doctor, just hang on a little longer ok," Ridel begged,
"There's no hanging on here, it'll come whenever its ready too," Satera suddenly cringed,
"What's the matter Hun?" Dominic's son asked, Satera whispered something, and again, "What's that I didn't hear you?" Ridel asked,
"I SAID IT'S COMING!" Satera yelled, the men started panicking as Winry moved to my side and I stood up.

"SHUT IT!" I yelled, everyone stopped, "We'll just had to do it," I spoke,
"Have to do what?" Edward asked, Winry and I exchanged a nod as she understood,
"Deliver it," Winry spoke, the others screamed.

"So… so you've seen a baby been delivered before?" Ridel asked,
"No, I haven't, but we don't have any other options here. I need everyone's help. We are going to do this!" Winry explained, I knew Winry would be fine, as she had doctors for parents and the was an automail engineer, she'd know a bit about how the human body works.

Winry got an apron on,
"Ed and Al go get me some boiling water," Winry instructed,
"Right" Alphonse nodded,
"Sure Winry," Edward joined Alphonse,
"Paninya and Rea, go find some towels and hurry," Winry looked at us,
"Rodger!" Paninya spoke, I nodded and ran off with her. Paninya showed me where the towels were, and we grabbed a few. I got back to the room with Paninya with and put the towels at the bottom of the bed.

"Boiling water, disinfectant, towels, and what else was there? Remember it now," Winry spoke,
"Winry," Edward spoke,
"You can do this," Alphonse, Edward, Paninya and myself spoke together, Winry nodded.
"Paninya, Rea, give me a hand in here," Winry looked at you,
"Sure," Paninya spoke.

It took a while, but with Winry's direction and cool head we were able to help Satera deliver the baby. The hours went by as Satera was screaming in pain, but after all that work… a baby was born.

I sat down in the room with my back against the wall as I took a breath, Paninya walked out, she had seen enough I thought to myself. Edward and Alphonse burst in the room and looked straight at Winry who was sat on the floor, exhausted like me,
"What's going on? Hey." Edward asked Winry, who pointed ahead of her as he looked at the little baby crying in Satera's arms.

"It's a baby! Hooray!" Edward and Alphonse cheered as you stood up, "Awesome, it's a real live baby, Awesome! Awesome, awesome!" Edward cheered,
"Really, awesome? That's all you can think of to describe this?" Winry asked as I stood up and moved over to Satera, I offered to clean her baby gently and she let me take her softly. Edward helped Winry outside to get her a seat as I smiled at the baby, washing its head gently.

A while later I heard Paninya yelling at Edward about something. Dominic had come back with the doctor who came in to check on the mother and child as I stayed at the back of the room,
"Hello there, I'm your granddad!" Dominic smiled,
"That's sure out of character," Edward muttered, Dominic quickly glared at him as I chuckled,
"Mother and baby both look perfectly healthy, it seems like the delivery was handled excellently, well done! Sometimes even adults can't take being present at a childbirth," the doctor spoke,
"Oh no, we did what we had to, that's all!" Winry explained,
"We are truly in your debt, what you did was amazing. Especially you, young lady. Thank you," Dominic spoke and bowed down,
"Please sir there's really no need to thank me. Oh, my goodness, now your gonna make me blush," Winry bowed her head down as Edward got an idea.

"Maybe you could make an exception and take on an apprentice?" Edward smirked at Dominic,
"One has nothing to do with the other, I don't take on apprentices and that's that. But, if that's what your hearts set on, I can recommend you to an accomplished engineer at the end of the mountain," Dominic went to walk out the room,
"Pardon me, would it be ok if I came by and watched you work sometimes?" Winry asked,
"I won't stop you from coming once in a while, to see my grandchild. The same goes for the Tomboy," Dominic rubbed the back of his head, at least Winry had something to focus on now as I went to get cleaned up.

The morning came quickly and just after lunch we were running for the train,
"Come on Al, Rea, if we miss this train there's not another one for 3 days," Edward spoke, Alphonse jumped on then grabbed Edward's hand and pulled him on,
"Hey!" I called and jumped off the edge of the platform as Edward and Alphonse grabbed my hands and pulled me on,
"Now you three be careful!" Winry called,
"You too, Winry!" I called,
"Don't forget to call Granny and keep her posted!" Edward yelled,
"Oh please! Like you're really one to talk Ed!" Winry called,
"And make sure to steal that old man's techniques so you'll have something even better for me the next time I see you ok!" Edward yelled, as us three waved.

When Winry was in the distance we moved inside the train and found a seat, just the three of us could have. I sat next to Edward and Alphonse sat opposite,
"That was amazing thing to see." Alphonse spoke as I nodded,
"It was amazing to witness from my side. I've seen many women give birth over the years but never took part in helping." I spoke and smiled, "it was amazing, and terrifying I'll be honest." I chuckled; Edward smiled as I glanced at him for a moment.

We were on our way to Dublith now, with one more stop on the way we would get there in a few hours. I couldn't wait to meet their teacher… I wondered what she would be like as I sat there and pondered.
