All Might continued to step forward as his angered expression didn't leave his face. "I couldn't shake the feeling that something had gone wrong here when Aizawa and Thirteen didn't answer my calls. So I hurried over, running into young Iida along the way. He told me of the villainy at work here."
'Dammit, All Might. You're late.' Kyouka thought to herself as she started to smile and wiped away her tears. 'But better late than never. Thank you, All Might.'
"Have no fear students…" The number one hero said before ripping off his tie. "Because I am here!"
"After all this waiting… The heroic piece of trash shows up." Shigaraki said as he stood up, giving his full attention to All Might.
A group of low-level villains looked up at the hero, not believing that he's actually here as they stood their ground.
"Holy crap. It's All Might. I've never seen the guy in person before."
"I didn't expect him to be so huge."
"Heh. This is no time to talk, you idiots. If we strike now, we can kill hi-"
Suddenly, the entire group of villains were knocked out by the hero as he grabbed Aizawa and looked down at the injured hero. "I'm sorry, Aizawa. I should've been here."
He then grabbed all three teens in an instant, taking them away from the villains. In the process, he managed to have the hand on Shigaraki's face fall onto the ground. The hero then put all the teens down as the purple haired girl widened her eyes as she looked around to see that she wasn't even near where she was before. 'He's so fast… I didn't even have time to blink…'
Even though the girl has known All Might for over a year now, she still had no idea what the hero's fully capable of. The most impressive feat she's seen him do in person is taking down that sludge villain with one punch and changing the weather. And right now she wondered if she was going to see All Might give it his all during this fight. Maybe she would see what the hero is fully capable of today.
"Everybody back to the entrance. And take Aizawa with you. He doesn't have much time." All Might ordered the teens as he looked at the villains.
"Yes, sir." Momo responded as she started to create a stretcher before gently laying Aizawa on it. "Jirou, can you lend me a hand?"
"Yeah, no problem." Kyouka said with a nod and grabbed one end of the stretcher as Momo grabbed the other end before they both lifted it up.
"You saved us, All Might." Izuku said as he looked up at his hero.
Shigaraki panted as he put his hands on his face to cover it up. "No, no, no. It wasn't supposed to go this way. He's still fast, Father. Somehow he managed to hit me." He then walked over to the hand that fell off his face before picking it up and putting it back on his face. "Of course a government hero relies on violence. I wasn't prepared. I couldn't even see him when he moved. But he's not as fast as I thought he would be. Not as fast as he used to be. I guess it's true, after all." The villain gave a crazed smile as he looked at the hero. "All Might really is getting weaker."
The green haired looked at Aizawa for a second before looking at his hero. "All Might, you can't! That brain villain took One For- I-I smashed him, but he wasn't fazed at all. He's too strong!"
Momo looked confused at what Izuku was about to say, but Kyouka knew perfectly well as she internally sighed in relief. 'That was close. But I heard that villain with the hands mention that All Might is getting weaker. Does he know about All Might's injury?'
"Young Midoriya!" All Might said before looking back at the boy and giving him the peace sign as he smiled widely. "I got this!"
Izuku hesitated for a moment before starting to walk away with the two girls as they held the stretcher with Aizawa on it.
The number one hero returned his attention to the villains before he charged at Shigaraki with his arms in a cross position. "Carolina…"
"Nomu." Shigaraki simply said as the monster moved right in front of him.
"Smash!" All Might yelled out as he delivered a powerful cross chop towards the monster, but it had zero effect as the monster just stood there. "Huh?" Nomu shrieked before trying to grab All Might, but the hero ducked as he looked at the monster. "Guess he wasn't wrong when he said it had no effect on you." The number one hero punched the monster's gut, but still had no effect. "Let's try this!" He started to punch the monster's head, but the monster just screeched in response before he started to back away. "Doesn't even matter where I punch you, does it?"
"That's because Nomu here has shock absorption, All Might." Shigaraki informed as he watched the hero continue to punch at Nomu. "The only way you're going to hurt him is to slowly gouge out his flesh. Of course, I don't think he'll sit back and let you do that. You've finally met your match."
"Ha! Thanks for telling me how to beat him!" All Might said before going behind Nomu and wrapping his arms around the monster. "All I have to do is wear him down, and then it's on to you!"
He then lifted up the monster and performed a suplex on him, slamming his head into the ground, causing a shockwave throughout the area as Shigaraki stood his ground. "Hey, hey now."
A large dust cloud could be seen in the distance from where All Might slammed Nomu into the ground, impressing most of the students who were watching the fight as they cheered on the hero.
"All Might really is powerful, isn't he?" Momo asked as she looked at the fight while she and her two classmates continued to walk towards the exit with Aizawa. "It looks like we have nothing to worry about now. What a relief."
"Yeah…" Kyouka said with a small sigh before looking at Izuku and noticed that he looked troubled before smiling at him. "Hey, I'm sure he'll be alright. All Might totally has this battle in the bag."
Izuku didn't say anything, but he gave her a small smile back as he nodded before going back into his own thoughts.
'Is that thing really powerful enough to kill All Might? I mean he took Izuku's smash without even flinching and it looks like All Might's smashes aren't doing much either.' The purple haired girl thought to herself before remembering today's headlines. 'Wait a minute, All Might pretty much worn himself out from all the hero work he did this morning. That was confirmed when Thirteen held up three fingers to indicate he was at his limit today. And apparently, these villains know that All Might is not as strong as he used to be so they know what they're doing. Should he even be fighting right now? He's going over his limit. Izuku and I are the only ones in our class who know about All Might and how weak he's gotten. Can he really handle this on his own?'
Suddenly, the black haired girl gasped as she looked towards the fight, causing the two other teens to look as well. "All Might…"
"Oh come on. What kind of cheap move was that?" All Might asked as half of Nomu's body went through a warp gate with the monster now having a grip on All Might's torso.
Some blood exited All Might's mouth before Nomu started to sink his fingers into the hero's injury, causing the hero to grunt in pain.
"Nice. You were trying to bury him in the concrete so he couldn't move around anymore. Sorry, that won't work. Nomu's as strong as you are. That won't stop him." Shigaraki said with a laugh before looking at his colleague. "Nice work, Kurogiri. We've got him just where we want him now."
The number one hero attempted to pry Nomu's hand off of him, but the hand wouldn't budge a single inch as the monster sank his fingers deeper into the hero's injury. "If this is your best, then you picked the wrong place to attack. You should just give up now."
Shigaraki simply sighed before starting to scratch his neck. "Kurogiri."
"Normally I wouldn't want blood and viscera flooding the inside of my warp gates, but I'll make an exception for a hero as great as you." Kurogiri said as he started to close his warp gate on All Might. "Since you're too fast to see with the human eye, Nomu had to restrain you. And once he's pulled your body halfway through. I'll squeeze the gates shut. I'm going to enjoy tearing you to pieces."
"Kyouka. Yaoyorozu. Please make sure Mr. Aizawa gets out of here safely." Izuku said in a serious tone as he looked towards the fight.
"Midoriya, why are you saying this so suddenly?" Momo asked as she gave a confused look towards the boy.
Kyouka widened her eyes, having a feeling of what her hero is planning to do. "I-Izuku, please don't do what I think you're about to do."
The green haired boy started to slowly walk away as he avoided eye contact with his best friend. "I'm sorry…" He suddenly started running towards the central plaza as fast as he could.
"Izuku!" The purple haired girl called out to him but was ignored as she tightened her grip on the stretcher.
"Wait, Midoriya, what are you doing?" The black haired girl asked as she watched the boy run away. "We need to stay away from the fight!"
'He's going to get himself killed if he gets involved.' Kyouka thought to herself as her grip on the stretcher started to loosen, remembering when Izuku ran towards the sludge villain all by himself. 'I won't let him go alone. I'll never let him go alone again. I won't let them hurt you!'
"Dammit… I'm sorry, Yaoyorozu, but you'll have to take Mr. Aizawa alone." The purple haired girl said before gently laying down Aizawa on her end. "See you later."
"W-Wait, Jirou, not you too!" Momo shouted as she watched the other girl run off before looking at Aizawa and sighed. "It's not like I can chase after them. I still have to get Mr. Aizawa away from here."
"I'm coming!" Izuku shouted as he continued to run towards his hero, hoping to save him.
"Not without me you're not!" Kyouka shouted as she was right behind her hero, slowly catching up.
"K-Kyouka, why are you following me?!" The green haired boy asked as he glanced at his friend for a second. "Get back to Yaoyorozu and Mr. Aizawa!"
"I don't think so! Did you really think I'd let you run towards danger alone?!" The purple haired girl asked as she was now running right beside him before smiling at him. "I can't let you be the only one throwing themselves into danger!"
Izuku wanted to argue with her right now and send her back to Momo, but he knew there was no time as he just shook his head and returned his attention towards All Might as he reluctantly agreed. "Okay, but please be careful!"
The two friends got closer to the currently trapped hero and they both jumped forward with Izuku going for a punch and Kyouka starting to extend her earphone jacks forward.
"How foolish." Kurogiri stated as he appeared right in front of the two teens, ready to use his warp gate on them.
'Shit, we can't dodge in time.' Kyouka thought to herself with wide eyes as both she and Izuku got closer to the warp gate. She tried to reach for Izuku to try to push him out of the way, but it didn't seem like she was going to make it in time.
Suddenly, an explosion was fired at Kurogiri, canceling the warp gate as Bakugo glared at the two friends.
"Get the hell out of my way, you damn losers!" Bakugo shouted before grabbing Kurogiri and slamming the villain onto the ground.
'Wait, Bakugo?!' The purple haired girl thought to herself as she looked at the explosive boy. 'What the hell is he doing here?!'
She wasn't sure what surprised her more, the fact that Bakugo managed to make it here or the fact that he actually saved both her and Izuku from the villain. A small part of her wanted to pinch herself, wondering if this was some kind of nightmare.
A path of ice was then sent towards Nomu before freezing half of the monster's body as Todoroki stood by. "One of your poorly trained thugs told me you're here because you think you can kill All Might."
All Might finally managed to loosen Nomu's grip before jumping back and getting on one knee as he placed his hand on his injury.
"Are you okay?" The green haired boy asked in concern for his hero.
The purple haired girl looked at the hero and could see that he's bleeding from his injury. "Can you still fight, All Might?"
Kirishima jumped towards Shigaraki with his hardened arm and tried attacking the villain, but the attack was dodged, causing the boy to pout. "Damn! That was gonna be cool!"
"Guess I found your body that time, you smoky bastard." Bakugo taunted as he kept his grip on the villain.
"The Symbol of Peace will not be defeated by delinquents like you." The half and half boy stated as he looked at the villains.
"Kacchan. Everyone." Izuku said as he looked at his classmates, surprised that they're here as well.
"Well, it seems things are looking good for us now." Kyouka said as she sighed in relief. "I was real worried for a second."
"Kurogiri. How could you let this brat get the best of you?" Shigaraki asked in a disappointed tone as he looked at the other villain. "You've gotten us into a real jam here."
"Heh. You got careless, you dumb villain. It wasn't hard to figure you out. Only certain parts of you turn into that smoking warp gate. You use that mist to hide your actual body, as a kind of distraction. Thinking that made you safe. That's why we missed. But if you didn't have a body, you wouldn't be wearing this neck armor, right? You're not immune to physical attacks if they're well aimed." Bakugo explained before Kurogiri tried to move, but the boy used small explosions to hurt the villain as he smirked widely. "Don't move! You try something funny, and I'll blow your ass up right now, you got it? They'll be cleaning you up for weeks."
"Oh, that doesn't sound very heroic." The red haired boy said as he smiled.
"They escaped uninjured and captured my two strongest men. Kids these days really are amazing. They make the League of Villains look like amateurs. Can't have that." Shigaraki said to himself before looking at Nomu. "Nomu."
Nomu screeched as he started to get out of the warp gate, but half of his body started to fall apart due to the ice. The monster now stood on only one leg as he used his one arm for support.
"How is that thing still moving? He's all messed up." Izuku said in a confused tone as he looked at the monster.
"Stay back, everybody!" All Might ordered as he outstretched his arm so no one would go towards the monster.
The remaining ice shattered off Nomu as his limbs started to slowly grow back from a pulsing red muscle.
The purple haired girl gagged a little as she put her hand over her mouth. 'That's so gross. But how is that thing even growing back his limbs? That shouldn't be possible.'
"What is this? I thought you said his power was shock absorption." The number one hero said as he started to stand back up.
"I didn't say that was his only quirk. He also has super regeneration." Shigaraki informed once more as Nomu fully grew back his limbs now. "Nomu has been modified to take you on even at 100% of your power. He's basically a highly efficient punching bag that hits back. First, we need to free our method of escape. Get him, Nomu."
Nomu suddenly charged at Bakugo at a fast speed, but no one was able to react as the monster threw a punch at the boy, causing a strong gust of wind to push away all of the teens with some of them falling down.
"What kind of power is that?" Kyouka asked herself as she started to stand up.
"Such force." The green haired boy groaned as he stood up as well and saw that Bakugo wasn't holding down Kurogiri anymore. "Kacchan!" He then looked to his right and widened his eyes to see Bakugo sitting down. "Kacchan? You actually managed to dodge that? I can't believe it."
"Shut up, no I didn't, you damn nerd." Bakugo said before he started to scowl, thinking of how fast that monster was.
"Yeah, there's no way you can ever be that fast." The purple haired girl commented as she crossed her arms.
"You wanna start something, Earlobes?!" The ash blonde boy challenged as some small explosions came out of his palms, forgetting about these villains. "I'll kill you right now!"
"Hey, can you two please cool it until after we take down these villains?" Kirishima suggested with a nervous smile, trying to defuse the situation. "But how'd you even get over here, Bakugo?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Todoroki asked before looking at All Might to see the hero with his arm in front of his body, showing that the hero blocked the attack.
"All Might!" Izuku called out in concern as he saw that his hero got pretty hurt from that attack, seeing that he's coughing.
"These are kids and you didn't hold back?" All Might asked as he panted, starting to feel more tired.
"I didn't have much choice. He was threatening my companion. Besides, these kids are no angels." Shigaraki said before pointing at the teens. "The plain-looking one? He tried to kill me with a maxed out punch. What kind of 'hero' does something like that? You think you can get away with being as violent as you want if you say it's for the sake of others. Well, you know what, All Might? That pisses me off. Why do people get to decide that some violent acts are heroic and others are villainous? Casting judgment as to what's 'good' and what's 'evil.' You think you're the Symbol of Peace? You're just another government-sponsored instrument of violence. And violence always breeds more violence. I'll make sure the world understands that once you're dead."
"You're nothing but a lunatic. Criminals like you. You always try to make your actions sound noble. But admit it, you're only doing this because you like it. Isn't that right?" The number one hero accused the villain.
"He's got me figured out." Shigaraki said to himself as he narrowed his eyes onto the hero.
"We've got them outnumbered." The half and boy stated, prepared to fight these villains.
The green haired boy nodded as he raised his fists. "And Kacchan found the mist guy's weakness."
Kyouka gave a small smirk and raised her earphone jacks. "Yeah, we just gotta avoid that monster thing and we're good."
"These dudes may act really tough, but we can take them down with All Might's help. Let's do this." The red haired boy said before hardening his arms.
"Don't attack." All Might ordered as he slowly walked towards the villains. "Get out of here."
Todoroki raised his arm, ready to use his quirk on the villains. "You would've been in trouble earlier if it weren't for me, remember? You need our help."
"I thank you for your assistance, but this is different." The number one hero said as he clenched his fist. "It's gonna be alright. Just sit back and watch a pro at work."
"But you're too hurt. You're bleeding. And you're almost out of ti-" Izuku stopped himself before he could say any more as he put his hand over his mouth.
The purple haired girl shook her head as she looked at the hero. "All Might, Izuku's right. You're way too beat up to do this on your own. And this monster is as strong as you are and it can take your punches."
All Might gave both teens a thumbs up as a response before fully giving his attention to the villains.
"Nomu. Kurogiri. Kill him. I'll deal with the children." Shigaraki stated as he looked at the teens. "Let's clear this level and go home."
The villain began to run at the teens as Kirishima got ready to fight. "Heads up, we're fighting after all."
All Might and Nomu suddenly charged at each other before both of their fists met, creating powerful winds that blew everyone away, including Shigaraki. "Weren't you listening? One of his powers is shock absorption."
"Yeah? What about it?" All Might asked before continuing to punch Nomu before they both started to punch each other at speeds too fast for the human eye to detect.
"He's gonna fight that brain guy head on?" The green haired boy asked as he struggled to stand his ground against the strong winds.
The purple haired girl put her arms in front of her face to try to shield herself from the wind. "This is… crazy. How are they so strong?"
"Whoa, they're… so fast." The red haired boy said as the wind blew him back a bit.
"No! I can't get near them!" Kurogiri shouted as he got held back by the wind.
"He said your quirk was only shock absorption, not nullification. That means there's a limit to what you can take, right?" The number one hero asked as he continued to punch at the monster, but Nomu punched All Might directly on his injury, causing the hero to give a painful grunt as he kept punching. "So, you were made to fight me, big guy? If you can really withstand me firing at 100% of my power… then I'll have to go beyond that and force you to surrender!"
Kyouka fell from the strong winds hitting her as she saw that Nomu was starting to flinch from the punches. 'I've always known All Might was strong, but seeing it firsthand is something else. This doesn't compare to that time he took down that sludge villain when he saved Izuku and Bakugo. I guess All Might's number one for a reason, huh? But how much more can he take? Izuku said that he's almost out of time. What if he runs out of power in the middle of the fight? If that happens then we're all done for. No… I have to believe in him just like Izuku is right now.'
The purple haired girl started to stand back up before starting to cheer for the hero. "Come on, All Might! Kick that guy's ass!"
This caught Izuku's attention as he started to clench his fists. "Yeah! You can beat this villain! I know you can!"
All Might yelled as he punched Nomu, causing him to fly back as he jumped towards the monster. "A real hero…" Nomu charged at All Might as he threw a punch, but was blocked by the hero. "...will always find a way for justice to be served!"
All Might kicked Nomu towards the ground, causing the monster to bounce up in the air before he grabbed him and threw him onto the ground with a fierce yell, making a crater.
The number one hero then landed right in front of Nomu as pure power surrounded the hero. "Now for a lesson. You may have heard these words before, but I'll teach you what they really mean. Go beyond! Plus Ultra!"
All Might then punched Nomu's chest with all of his strength, sending Nomu flying upwards and bursting a hole through the USJ as the monster soared through the sky until there was no sight of him. A strong rumbling could be felt throughout the entire facility with everyone wondering what's going on.
All of the teens stared in awe as they witnessed All Might defeating the monster with such power.
"That was like a finishing move in a video game. He beat the shock absorption right out of him. I've never seen that kind of brute strength." Kirishima said as he looked at the hole Nomu went through.
"Imagine having power like that. He must I've been punching that monster so fast, he couldn't regenerate." Bakugo said with even him being impressed by that power.
"Badass. That power is unreal. All Might really is amazing, huh?" Kyouka asked as she looked at Izuku and smiled. "Don't you think so too, Izuku?"
Izuku smiled back at his friend and nodded. "Yeah, there's no hero greater than him."
'Just imagine that one day Izuku will be able to perform feats like that once he fully controls One For All. He really is going to be the greatest hero of all time.' The purple haired girl thought to herself before looking towards the dust that surrounded All Might as her smile widened. 'You saved us, All Might. You really saved us.'
"I really have gotten weaker. Back in my heyday, five hits would've been enough to knock that guy out." All Might said with the dust around him starting to clear as he clenched his fist and gave a wide smile. "But today, it took more than 300 mighty blows." Unfortunately, the hero's body began to steam as his power started to run out before he turned to the villains. "You've been bested, villains. Surrender. We all want to get this over with quickly."
Shigaraki's body started to shake out of anger as he looked at the hero, knowing that he's lost but not wanting to accept it. "He cheated."
A/N
God I'm finally done with this chapter! I have to admit, I did not like writing most of this chapter. Some of the dialogue felt off to me and I definitely think I could've written it a lot better. I also felt awkward narrating the All Might vs. Nomu fight. I still need to work on my fight scenes. By the way there might be some typos in this chapter since I'm rushing it right now.
Not gonna lie, I want to get this arc over with already, but thankfully that'll happen in the next chapter and then we'll be on the Sports Festival arc. But don't think I'll go straight into the sports festival. I predict that it'll officially begin around chapter 35.
Also, would you guys want a chapter that takes place in between the season 1 finale and the beginning of season 2. Because I'm pretty sure the students get a day off after the USJ attack and return to school the day after to learn about the Sports Festival. I was originally going to go straight into season 2 in chapter 31, but I'm unsure about that now. But if I do go the extra chapter route then it'll probably be a shorter one.

SojiroxTenken: Yeah I'm still debating on it, but considering removing it entirely. And I do think they're the best match even though in canon I think the pairings are great as well. Well he might cry a little since I feel like he'll still be emotional, but it'll mostly be happy crying. I think I've shown bits and pieces of fluff so far and don't worry will come when they're not fighting.
Naoto Koizumi: Yeah, there will be many more times with Kyouka showing how much she's willing to do for Izuku. Hmm honestly I doubt her soundwaves would do much since Nomus don't really feel pain and don't have ears. But I'm sure it could somewhat work on the low end Nomu.
25NaMi: It's always a great feeling to know that I've exceeded anyone's expectations.
Ability King KK: Yeah, if I were to have them talk then it would definitely be in falter 31 or while they're training for the Sports Festival.
ZaydenNightshade: Well I never plan to turn her into a full yandere, more yandere-esque if that makes sense.
Chuck Winanaki: Yeah, I've never been the best at being descriptive and it's worse in fight scenes. I mean it was frustrating enough just to write some of these fight scenes how I see them. Yeah, I'm not too sure how I want to handle switching povs, but I don't want to do the thing like "Kyouka POV" or "Izuku POV." Maybe it's harder to write Shigaraki because I've personally never found him creepy. I'm pretty weird like that.
shyamal.10000: Honestly I'm not sure, but would say no less than 50, but it could be a lot more. It's hard to tell since I sometimes come up with filler chapters on the spot and I will sometimes combine two episodes into one chapter. And my update schedule is kind of random now. I used to have a new chapter daily, but that is not possible anymore. I always try to release them as fast as possible, but there will never be any guarantees on chapter release dates.
NazgulBelserion: Well I think that's a bit of an exaggeration on how Izuku is.
papaprep: I can honestly say that I won't be changing Kyouka's character. I think after chapter 7, I finally decided how obsessive I'll make her be and that'll stick.
Oh dear: Be afraid. Be very afraid.
