TAKING A LADY FOR A SPIN.
Dom had called Cait very early the next morning asking her to fly upto the cabin to get String and Le. He'd woken up in agony with his back, and had decided to take a few days off. They didn't have much work lined up over the next few days, and String and Cait would be able to handle Santini Air without him.
So Cait had flown up to the cabin. She'd rounded the headland, smiling as she'd spotted String on the Dock, playing for the Eagle. She'd adjusted her altitude and course slightly to avoid down drafting the majestical bird. String grasped his cello and bow in one hand and stooped down to grab the stool in the other, then making his way up the steps to the cabin with Tet at his heels
Cait set the jet ranger down on the dock, and powered the chopper down. Looking out the side window of the chopper, she watched as String and Tet made there way back towards the dock. He opened the door, leaned in and gave her a quick kiss, before helping her step out.
"Morning." He said, with a smile on his face.
"Good morning to you too," She said, as they made there way towards the cabin."Is Le awake?"
"Not yet," String said, as they reached the porch. He pulled her into his embrace, kissing her passionately on the lips, then nuzzling down the side of her neck. His hands slid to her waist, pulling her more fully against him, as his mouth returned to hers, kissing her with a hint of longing. "I missed you in my bed this morning," he whispered against her lips.
Cait groaned into his mouth with the on slaught of emotions. Her hands had slid around him, one hand cupping the back of his head to keep his mouth on hers. The other pressed between his shoulder blades, holding him close. He deepened the kiss even further, stepping her backwards till her back was pressed against the hard wall of the cabin, and her front to the hard planes of his body. His hand slid from her waist, along the curve of her hip and bottom to the back of her thigh. He pulled her leg up to wrap around his hip, as he ground his body against hers.
A sound from inside the cabin alerted him to the fact they weren't alone. He reluctantly pulled back from her lips. "Le's awake." He said, looking into her flushed face. He kissed her quickly one last time, before opening the door, and with a hand on her back ushered her inside. He grabbed his cello from where he had propped it against the side of the cabin, and followed her inside.
He placed the cello and bow back in the holder that stood by the fire, and turned to look round the room. Pillows and blankets were strewn across the couch, but Le was no where to be seen. He folded the bedding and returned it to the storage box under the window. They heard the sound of water running from the bathroom, giving a location for the young boy.
"Have you had Breakfast," He asked, making his way towards the kitchen.
She shook her head, "No, wasn't feelin to good when I got up."
"Good, then I guess you can join us for Breakfast." He said, opening the fridge. "What do you fancy."
"Well..." she said biting her lip, uncertainly. He glanced up at her face, grinning at her with a raised eyebrow. "I'm kinda cravin an omlette, with mushrooms and peppers.
"One omlette coming up then." He said reaching into the fridge to collect all the ingriedients he needed. He placed everything on the counter, including a carton of juice.
Cait slipped onto one of the bar stools, watching String as he moved across the Kitchen to get a bowl and a glass from the cupboard. "You need a hand," she asked.
"No, you just sit there." He said. He passed her the glass and began cracking eggs into the bowl. A noise from upstairs made him turn his head, glancing up the stairs as Le made his way out of the bathroom. He had a pair of black jeans on and a black button down shirt that he hadn't bothered to fasten. Le was towelling his hair dry, as he made his way down the stairs. "You know we have a lady in the house, Le." He called, knowing the kid would be embarrassed.
Le's head shot up, looking around the room and settling on Caitlin sat at the breakfast bar. He instantly dropped the towel and fastened his shirt, tucking it into his jeans. "Sorry Cait, I thought it was Dom." He said blushing.
"That's ok." She said with a smile, amused at the boys embarrassment . "Dom phoned me real early, told me to come get you guys. Think he might of put his back out while we was working on the Lady"
"Make sure that towel finds it's way back to the bathroom." String said, as he began chopping the mushrooms and peppers. Le didn't say anything, just picked the towel up and headed back upstairs to do as he was told.
The cabin was always spotless whenever she visited, String was so neat and tidy, everything had it's own place. Cait knew String had set ground rules for Le when he first came to live with him. He was making space for the young boy in his home and his life. She could only imagine what he would be like with his own child. She smiled as she imagined a brown haired boy with intense blue eyes and a happy smiling face following his daddy round.
String turned to the stove, and began pouring the egg mixture into the hot skillet. "You still wanna take the Lady for a check ride." Cait asked, as she poured the juice into the glass.
"Yeah. There wasn't any jobs on the boards for today, so it's probably the best time to do it. We can head straight there after we drop Le at school. I'm tempted to land the jet ranger on the school field." He said turning to look at her over his shoulder, he had a twinkle in his eye.
"That would be so cool, Uncle String." Le said as he came back down stairs and climbed up on the stool at the side of Cait. "None of the kids at school believed me when I told them that we have to fly into Van Nuys every morning."
Cait chuckled, and grinned at him." Guess that means better street cred, huh, Half pint."
Le grinned back at her nodding his head. String smiled at his nephew, before he spoke."Think that's settled then, we'll drop you off in the Jet ranger this once." He turned back to the stove, plating up the omlette for Cait, as he poured more mixture into the skillet for Le.
...
They'd dropped Le off at school, landing on the schools playing field. He'd climbed out of the co-pilots seat of the jet ranger with a grin, as the other kids had stared at the helicopter in awe. Cait had slipped out of the back of the Jet ranger and climbed into the co-pilots seat Le had just vacated. Le moved clear of the area, gave them a thumbs up and watched as his uncle had lifted off. As soon as they left the area they altered course towards the valley of the gods, heading towards the Lair.
"How did your visit go with Sinjin." Cait asked as they flew over the desolate landscape.
"Ok. He'll be out in the next couple of days, his doctors happy with the weight gain, and the infections have pretty much cleared up. They've set him up with some appoitments with a pyscologist who deals with PTSD." String paused, making a few turns to check that nothing was following them. Satisfied they were alone he continued. "He's gonna stay with Dom for the time being, he's been having flash backs, and doesn't want to scare or hurt Le."
"I know I might be over stepping boundries here," she said as she turned to look at him. "I've heard you a couple of times when Dom and me have been at the cabin. I know you well enough to know that you won't seek help, and I might not understand everything that you saw and went through over there, but I am here if you want to talk about it." She watched as his jaw tensed, he didn't answer her at first.
"Cait, I need you to promise me something." He glanced at her with a look of fear on his face. When she nodded her agreement he turned back to the sky and went on. "If I'm having a flashback or nightmare, don't touch me. Shout at me to wake up, or even throw something at me, but please keep away from me."
"Your worried you'll hurt me." She concluded, watching his face as he nodded in agreement.
"I'm scared to death of that. I don't have them that often anymore, but sometimes after I've had to relive some of the missions for Michael or if we've had a pretty bad mission in Airwolf, then there's a chance I'll have one. I just need to no that you'll stay away from me till I'm awake." He said, briefly turning back to her, pleading with his eyes. .
"If that's what you want, then I will." She said.
"Thanks," he said, the relief evident in his voice as he turned back to his flying.
String piloted the chopper for another half hour through the valley before he brought the chopper in to land down the funnel of the Lair. After powering the Jet ranger down, he deactivated the perimeter sensors and turned back to watch Caitlin. She made way towards Airwolf, running her hand across the sleek body of the craft. She sensed String move behind her, and turned slightly to look over her shoulder at him. He was directly behind her, a predatory grin on his face.
Cait raised an eyebrow at him in question. His grin got even wider as he stepped closer to her, slipped his arms around her and pulled her back into his hard body. He nuzzled her neck, placing little kisses all over, as his hands slid to rest on her stomach. "You know I'm kinda glad Dom isn't with us. I've been wanting to touch you for the past couple of hours."
Cait sighed in pleasure at his words. "Back at ya." She replied breathlessly, turning round to face him. "I'm not gonna let you sweet talk me out of my clothes though." She said giving him a quick kiss on his lips.
"You do have to slip into your flightsuit," was his retort. "I guess I could just watch."
Cait leaned into him, "So do you." She whispered against his mouth, "and I happen to know you don't wear underware."
"You show me yours, and I'll show you mine." He said wiggling his eyebrows at her. Cait just laughed at him, gave him a quick peck on the lips and headed to the locker that they used to store there flight suits. She pulled Strings and her own out, leaving Dom's hung up. He toed of his trainers, already pulling his shirt over his head, and dropping it in a pile at his feet. She handed him the grey flight suit, quickly turning as his hands went to the zipper of his jeans.
String watched Caitlin undress as he pulled of his jeans, and pulled on the flight suit, zipping it up. What fascinated String the most about Caitlin O'Shaunnssey was her love of pretty lace underware. He discovered that the first time he'd made love to her, and every time after that. He guessed he'd had her pegged as a white practical cotton type of girl, not the siren in red lace that had her back to him, as she slipped into her own flight suit.
...
They completed there pre flight check with a quick efficiency, before climbing into The Lady. Cait slipped into the engineering seat at the back of Airwolf as String slipped into the flight commanders seat. String began going through the start up process, flipping each of the systems on line to bring the powerful beast out of her slumber. Caitlin informed him all systems were in the green, and he began the accent from the Lair.
Once clear of the funnel he called for turbos, Caitlin acknowledged his request and the sleek black and white craft shot through the sky. Cait checked over the inflight systems, adjusting a few that they'd been unable to do yesterday, needing Airwolf to be in the air to correct them.
"How's everything looking back there." String asked as he put the Lady through her paces, in a series of high speed maneuverers and low altitude flying, over the valley floor.
"We're looking good. Turbine temp, Fuel and lubricant pressure and rotor syncrinisation are all normal. Turbos are currently at 90 percent if you want any more." Cait said, as she checked across the computer read outs. "I'm just about to switch on the thermal scans, and radar suppression system."
"Give me 100 percent turbos." He requested, then added. "See if you can get Knightsbridge on the radio."
"Ok" She flicked the switch to work the scrambler on the radio system as she waited for Airwolf to connect to knightsbridge on the secure line. "We have a channel open, String."
"Thanks," He keyed the switch to open communications. "Airwolf, to Knightsbridge do you read me."
Micheal's face appeared on the screen infront of him. "Good morning Hawke, what can I do for you."
"I'll be wanting access to the test Range at Red Star. I'll be there in 30 minutes." He said.
"I'll have Marella make the arrangements," He said indicating to someone behind him. "I currently have Zebra squad training out there, I'll pull them back to the main building while you use the test range. Can I assume that Airwolfs repairs have been carried out." He said with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes we did them yesterday. Just wanted to make sure we caught everything." String said.
"Yet you didn't use Red Star's facilites?" He queried with a raised eyebrow.
"Just being a little cautious Michael. After all the trouble Zeus caused, I'm not about to trust the committie. There wasn't anything we couldn't handle at the lair. I'm only using the test range as we need to check the ADF and firing mechanisims are working."
"I can appreciate that, but the committie is behind you flying Airwolf. I might of pointed out to them, that you would probably of gone after Zeus with Airwolf had you known about his deception." Michael added.
String chuckled, "I would have."
"String, 5 minutes to Red Star." Caitlin imformed.
"Thanks, Cait. Got to go Michael." He switched frequencies, as he disengaged the turbos. "Disengage turbos, bring rotors back on line."
"Turbos disengaged, back on main rotor." Cait confirmed.
String keyed the radio. "Airwolf, to Red Star. We are on approach, request clear flight path to the test range, and confirmation all personnell are clear of the area."
"This is Red Star, Airwolf you are clear for the test range. All personnel are clear of the area." A familiar voice responded. " Good to have you home with Airwolf, String."
"Thanks for the welcome Trish, Airwolf out." String disconnected the call and altered course.
"String,"
"Yeah," He asked, glancing over his shoulder at her.
"Who's Trish?" She said biteing her bottom lip.
String scanned the sky in front of him as he flew towards the test range. He chuckled, If he was reading Cait right she was jealous. "Let me set her down Cait, and I'll tell you all you want to know. It's not what your thinking."
...
"Trish was married to the countermeasures specialist that test piloted Airwolf with me. They were in a serious car accident, Dave suffered some pretty nasty head injuries, he was in a coma for several weeks. When he came round the doctors discovered that his memory had been seriously affected, he had no memory of the past 10 years. His ability to learn was seriously affected as it was linked to the short term memory loss. The FAA, and the Army pulled his pilots license, Dave hit rock bottom, and decided that if he couldn't fly, he'd be better of dead." String paused, sucked in a breath and continued.
"He waited till Trish went to the grocery store, and hung himself. She was seven months pregnant with twins. Michael covered up the suicide, made out it was an accident so that she got full military benefits and Dave got the military funeral he deserved. Trish was one of the Red Star ground tecs, I'm assumming that she would of been on extended maternity leave when Moffett stole Airwolf."
"Ow god, the poor women." Cait said, she had tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry I brought it up, String. I can imagine how painful it is to talk about it."
"I understand you want to know about my past. I've had a lot of women in my life, with the exception of Kelly, Tess and Gabrielle, none of the others have ever meant anything to me. I can't change what I've done in the past, but I can change what I do from here." He said, looking at her.
Cait swallowed, "Why me?" She asked, a little uncertainly.
String grinned at her. "You've wormed your way in Cait. You've managed to get to a place inside of me that I've never let anyone except Dom and Sinj get too. I know that first night wasn't planned, but, I'm not sorry it happened. I couldn't get you out of my head, that's never happened to me before. Then the second time at you place, and I just remember afterwards thinking about how sex with anyone else had never been that good. Then it hit me, we hadn't had sex, I'd made love to you." He heard a small gasp escape her and continued. "I want to make this work between us, Cait. I've wanted you for a long time, but out of respect for you and our friendship, I've kept my distance. I can't do that anymore, I need you with me."
"You have me, String." She had tears running down her face, as he leaned in and kissed her briefly on the lips. He used the pad of his thumb to wipe the tears from her cheeks.
"Come on, we better get airborne before they send zebra squad to check on us."
...
String flicked the switches that would bring the lady back on line. After the rotors had reached the correct rpm he lifted off, retracted the landing gear, and called for turbos. Airwolf shot across the landscape, entering the canyon. String manoeuvred her through a series of twists and turns as he took her through the canyon, pulling her up into a steep climb before putting her into a steep dive, levelling her out at 2,000 feet. He pulled her out of the other side of the canyon, sped past the control tower, pulled her into a 180% turn and sped back into the canyon.
Happy with Airwolfs response to the manoeuvres, he called for combat mode. "Give me combat mode, Cait."
"Combat mode, ADF deployed." Cait acknowledged as she flicked the switches that operated the systems.
"Sidewinder." String requested.
"Sidewinder." Cait acknowledged, as he fired a shot into the side of the canyon wall. He followed up with chain guns along the ridge line, before dropping back into the canyon.
"I'm going to set her down. At least we know all the damage is fixed. I want to take you through some combat manoeuvres, Cait. That's one of the reasons I wanted access to Red Star." String said as he brought the craft in to land.
"You mean that," She asked excitedly.
"Yeah, Miss adrenaline junky, I do." He said with a smile. "We haven't been able to teach you much, because we can't just start blowing up the local countryside. At least on the test range, I can let you get some target practice in. I know your okay with the chain guns, but I want to get you up to speed with the missile systems."
"Ok." She said, as she jumped out of the back of Airwolf and ran round to the Pilots side of the craft. String moved across to the co-pilots seat, making room for her in the flight commanders seat.
"Trace my route back through the canyon. There's an old truck over the east ridge, and a small convoy of vehicles on the other side of the north eastern canyon. Treat them as if there firing at you, lots of ground support and troops. I want you to take them out. We've got a full weapons load, don't be afraid to use any of it." He explained to her. "You ready."
"Yes." She said as she lifted Airwolf from the ground, retracted the wheels, and headed in the direction String had told her. She sifted through the information in her head, deciding that the best way to treat the training was to imagine that it was a FIRM mission. She pressed the turbo button on the cyclic and shot into the canyon, making a series of high speed manoeuvres as she headed towards the north east canyon.
String watched her progress through the canyon, checking her speed and manoeuvres were accurate, and not about to splatter them into the rock face. He loosely spotted her on the controls, in case she would need any help pulling out of a manoeuvre. Fortunately Cait had readily taken to using Turbos not long after they taught her to fly Airwolf, and was quite confidently taking her through the canyons at high speed.
Caitlin had surprised and impressed him with her first destination, her decision to hit the convoy first was a good tactical one. In a combat situation it would prevent the enemy getting to many shots of, or being able to co-ordinate there ground resource's. She'd called for each of the weapon's as if she'd had an engineer working in the back. Her targeting was slightly of, but she'd still managed to hit 80 percent of the targets, and chain guns had hit all the rest.
She took Airwolf back up and over the canyon, heading towards her next target, the lone truck . Her aim this time was much better, as she hit the target dead centre with a maverick, without even having to drop the visor for a missile lock.
The sound of the scrambler in the cockpit alerted them to an incoming message. String flicked the switch, as Michael's face filled the screen. "What can we do for you Michael." "I have something I need to discuss with you, can you drop by my old office once you've done on the Range. I trust you still remember the location."
"Sure, We're done for today anyway. We'll be there in 10 minutes" String said.
"Targeting wasn't up to your usual standards today, Hawke." Michael teased.
"Is that so, Michael." He said, grinning back at Michael he added. "Of course I thought the targeting was pretty good, considering it was Cait's first time flying combat manoeuvres ." With that he switched the radio of, getting the last word in with the spy.
"Head back to the tower. I'll disengage the ADF pods, otherwise they'll have a lot of uncomfortable tecnichens, as well as Michael and Marella." String told her as he manoeuvred around in his seat, and was able to reach the switch that would disengage the weapons system.
"There's a story there, isn't there?" Caitlin asked.
"When Moffett stole Airwolf, he shot up the Control tower. He killed and injured a lot of the Red Star personnel. Michael and Marella were two of the lucky ones, Michael lost an eye and took some severe tissue damage to his knee." He sighed, "One of the reasons Michael has allowed me to keep Airwolf, is the knowledge I wouldn't use her to go after him. That thought scares him to death." ...
Michael looked up from the screen, a look of surprise on his face. "Did he just say Cait was piloting." He asked Marella who was stood by his side in the Red Star control room.
"Yes Sir, he did." She confirmed. "I wasn't aware he planned on training Cait to fly combat. He's never indicated it before."
"No, he hasn't." He said, thinking. Michael glanced around the control room, noting a number of the ground technicians were listening to there conversation with interest. "Something's changed."
Marella thought for a minute, then something came to her. "Do you think it's something to do with,"
Michael cut her of, before she had chance to reveal Hawke and Cait's news to the listening personnel. "Possibly. One things for sure, that was remarkable for a first time." He said as he spotted Airwolf speeding towards the control tower. He felt a small moment of panic, as his memory took him back to Moffett's trail of death and destruction. He turned and headed out of the room, Marella following close behind him.
Airwolf came to a stop in front of the building, and turned to face away from the building. Her pilot lowered her landing gear and she settled down on the hard packed desert floor. Her pilots began powering her down, switching of systems, as the rotors slowed. They removed there helmets, and opened the doors to exit the craft. Hawke was out first, stepping away from Airwolf and waiting while Caitlin made her way around the side of the craft to where he stood.
The personnel in the control room watched as Hawke placed a hand on the red heads back and ushered her towards the building. Major Kinsey from Zebra squad was leaning against the wall, with a number of his men, most of them acknowledged the two pilots as they passed. Zebra squad, picked up there equipment and headed back out onto the Range to complete there days training.
There was a few whispered conversations going on about the room, as they all watched Hawke and the red head, who Archangel had referred to as Cait enter through the outer door and take the stairs to the top of the control room. A few of the original Red Star ground technicians who remembered Hawke from when he had test piloted Airwolf, let on to him as he passed. He nodded his head, but didn't say anything.
One woman got up from her console and strode across the room to block his path. "Hello, String." She said with a broad smile across her face.
String looked back at her gave a smile in return, and pulled her in for a quick hug. "Hey Trish. How are you?" He said releasing her.
"I'm doing ok, the boy's keep me pretty busy." She said. "You should stop by the house sometime, see how much they've grown."
"I will do, I'm glad your all doing ok. I'd better go, see what Michael wants me for."
Trisha just smiled, said her good bye's and returned to her station as String ushered the female pilot through the doorway leading towards the labs and offices that made up the other half of Red Star complex.
...
Cait looked around as best she could as they made there way to Michael's office. The place was a hive of activity, with lots of people rushing past them in white lab coats, clip boards tucked under there arms. A few had tried to stop them, mainly to try to talk to String, but he had shook them off, and hurried on there way.
Cait had noticed several people staring quite openly at her, as they'd past them. She chuckled inwardly to herself, they all obviously knew who String was, but her, she was an unknown. They had checked her out, noting that she wore the grey Airwolf flight suit with the mission patch on her shoulder. A flight suit that was made to measure and fitted her like a glove. String had glared at the men as they had checked her out, making them turn quickly and hurry on there way.
There was another man coming down the corridor towards them, quite openly checking her out. String glared at him, but it didn't deter him. String sighed as he realised that the man wasn't going to let them pass as he stopped in front of them, blocking the corridor. "Jackson, you want to move over, we're kind of in a rush." He said indicating down the corridor towards Michael's office. "Hawke, how nice to see you again." He said coolly to String, before turning to Caitlin and smiling. He addressed Cait with a charming voice that made Cait's skin crawl. "Hello, I don't believe we've met. I'm Brad Jackson, I'm the head of research and development, and you are?
"Not interested." She countered. She heard a few people break out in laughter, recognising String's laugh from behind her, and Michael and Marella who were stood just outside an office a few doors down the corridor. Brad Jackson's face was red with embarrassment and anger at being shot down. He must of assumed that his position at Red Star would win him points with her. What an idiot, she thought to herself.
"Hawke, Cait." Michael called from his spot a few feet away.
String put his hand on Cait's back and moving her forward as he pushed past Jackson. Michael had returned to the office, leaving the door open for them to enter. String closed the door, behind them and they made there way to the chairs in front of the desk. He noted Marella wiping a few tears from her eyes.
"I don't think anyone has turned Jackson down quite so well, Cait." Michael said, chuckling.
"He always that smarmy?" She asked.
"Owe, yeah." String replied. "He has the notion that every women wants him, especially because of his job." He chuckled, "He won't like the fact that he had an audience, it will be all round Red Star before the end of the day."
"It certainly will be. Jackson will be the talk of the water cooler." Marella added, as she perched on the edge of the desk, crossing her ankles.
The pretty spy was dressed in a white silk blouse and pencil skirt with a pair of heeled pumps on her silk encased legs. String noticed, Michael glance at Marella's legs for a moment before he turned his good eye back to the pair in front of him. Michael was leaning back in his chair, both his legs stretched out in front of him. "So what do you want, Michael?" Hawke demanded.
"I have a small mission for you. It's a simple pick up, you'll be in and out within a couple of hours." He gestured to Marella to hand Hawke the file.
"You know whenever you say that, it usually goes to hell in a hand basket." String pointed out.
"This one is, Hawke." Marella said jumping in. "We were contacted by the Marshalls office, one of there witness protection people need to be relocated. At this current time the lady in question is in a safe house on the outskirts of Russellville..." Marella paused looking at the file in front of her to check the location.
"It's about 15 miles outside of Pope county." Cait said, instantly recognising the location, and filling them in on some details. "Population of about 500, type of place that are suspicious of strangers, and those small towns aint always happy to have em either. I wouldn't have chosen it as the sort of place to hide someone you don't want found."
"The local sheriff?" String asked, wanting to know if they were dealing with another Brogan.
"Straight as a dye." Cait confirmed. "Never had a problem when I was Flying for Texas HP. O'Donnlley was pretty old school, wasn't to thrilled with a woman being on the force, but he was certainly no Brogan."
"It appears that the Agent in charge is a relation of O'Donnlley's, which is why the choice of location as a short term." Marella filled in. "All you'll need to do is pick her up, return her to us and we will take care of the rest."
"Sure, So who am I picking up, would be nice to have a name." String said, raising an eyebrow at Michael. Michael and Marella, shared a look, neither one spoke. String began to get an uncomfortable feeling he wasn't going to like this mission. "Name, Michael or I walk out the door, and you can find someone else to fetch her."
"Tess Cullen." Was all Michael said.
Cait sucked in a breath and looked at String, he had turned to look at her. He didn't say anything for a moment, then turned back to Michael and spoke. "Would you give us a few minutes."
Michael nodded his head and escorted Marella out of the room to give Hawke and Caitlin some privacy. Knowing that they would want to discuss the mission given there new relationship and Cait's pregnancy. Michael only hoped Hawke would take the mission.
"Cait I have to pick her up, I can't just leave her in that type of mess." He said, watching her face for any type of reaction.
Cait nodded her head, before she spoke. "I'd think less of you if WE didn't go help her. Just don't expect me to be best buddies with her." She informed, leaning over the chair arm and giving him a quick kiss on the lips.
String smiled his thanks at her. "Are you sure your ok with all this. I can do it without you if you prefer."
"Not a chance on that hotshot, I'm not letting you out of my sight on this one." Cait winked at him, then added with a grin, "Besides you might need me in town, in case you've forgotten I can talk like one of the locals."
String chuckled at her antics then, called Michael and Marella back into the office. He notified the spy they would take the mission, and requested that Airwolf was refuelled and rearmed for them. Marella had been tasked with arranging everything, while String made some phone calls to Dom, and his brother. Dom had told him not to worry about Lee, he'd pick him up from school and have him over night just in case things didn't go as planned.
