Note: This is being considered a crossover with Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man the Animated Series and X-Men Evolution. Only because I am gonna be using a lot of Marvel Ultimate Spider-Man things but there will be differences. This story does take place on the Earth of X-Men Evolution which is designated Earth-11052
Any Spider-Man characters you see here, think of what they look like in the cartoon or its related series, such as Avengers Assemble, or Agents of Smash, unless I explain otherwise. Any characters that X-Men Evolution and Ultimate Spider-Man the Animated Series share, I will be using the X-Men Evolution counterparts, except Fury, I actually have a bit of a surprise about Fury which will be explained in my next story.

Summary: It has been two months since the X-Men and Brotherhood stopped Apocalypse and three months since Spider-Man had saved the superheroes of New York from Otto Octavius. In those months Kitty has had her heart broken by Lance and is believing that she may never find love, but then her best friend since childhood Peter Parker comes in to make her think differently.

Chapter 1: A Heartbreak and an Old Friend
Earth-11052, October 5, Friday 3:00pm Bayville High School, Bayville, New York
BRIIIIIINNGGGGGGGGGGG, the bell rings throughout the school signaling the end of the day. All the classroom doors open, and students are filing out eager to leave and begin their weekend. Out of one of the classrooms is an 18-year-old, 5'3 tall girl with fair caucasian skin, light blue eyes, and brown hair tied in a ponytail, she is wearing a pink blouse, skinny jeans, and is holding a book bag on her back. This girl is Katherine Ann Pryde, known to her friends and family as Kitty.
Kitty is walking down the hallway, heading to her locker, "sigh…Finally, the weekend. Now what am I gonna do? Maybe I'll go to the mall with the girls," Kitty said
"Aah certainly hope that when ya say girls that ya don't mean meh as well," a voice says
Kitty turns to her right and Rogue appears to her right, "Come on Rogue, it won't be that bad, besides shopping is fun," Kitty said
"That's your opinion," Rogue said as they stopped at Kitty's locker so she could gather her things.
Rogue is wearing a black tank top under a long-sleeved shirt that shows off her shoulders and black jeans that are ripped at the knees.
"Come on, think about it," Kitty said as she put in the combination of her locker and opened it. "We'll invite Jean, Tabitha, Jubilee, Amara, and Rahne. We'll go to all of the stores and buy you some really cute clothes," Kitty said as she gathers her things and closes her locker. The two then start walking down the hallway with Kitty getting out her cellphone and sending out a quick text to the mentioned girls about the shopping trip, getting confirmations in return. They walk until they see Kurt with his girlfriend Amanda. They get Amanda's attention who points it out to Kurt.
Amanda is wearing a crimson V-neck t-shirt with black skinny jeans.
Kurt is wearing a maroon long sleeved shirt, short sleeved light brown jacket with brown pants.
Kurt turns around and smiles, "Rogue, Kitty, vat's up," he said
"Hey Kurt, hey Amanda" Kitty said as she and Rogue approached the couple.
"What's up," Rogue said
"Happy class is done," Amanda said
"Ja, zee veekend is here," Kurt cheers making the girls giggle.
Outside
The doors open and the four friends walk out, "So, what are your plans for the weekend," Amanda asked
"Well, I'm gathering the girls and we're all gonna go shopping today. You're welcome to join us if you'd like," Kitty said
"Sounds fun," Amanda said
"Great, now all I need is one more person," Kitty said, she then looks at Rogue who looks at her sternly. Kitty then brings out the puppy dog eyes, making Rogue sigh in defeat.
"Faahn," Rogue said making Kitty smile, "But Aah am not gonna get an entire wardrobe. Aah may beh making some changes but Aah'm not gonna change that fast."
"Deal, so we gather the girls and then we all head to the mall for some fun," Kitty said
"Sounds good," Amanda said
"A'right," Rogue said
"Vait, Amanda I sought zat you vere coming ofer to hangout," Kurt said getting his girlfriend's attention.
"I'm still gonna come over but I want to hang out with the girls for a while. It's been a while since I've hung out with them," Amanda said as they enter the parking lot.
"Come on Kurt, you have this girl with you all of the time. Let us have her for a couple of hours, we'll bring her back, promise," Kitty said
"Yeah, it's not laahk we're gonna be takin her on an X-Men mission or anythin," Rogue said
"Vell," Kurt said unsure, he wanted to hang out with Amanda just the two of them. But then again, Amanda had a point that she hadn't hung out with the other X-girls. He looks at his girlfriend and sees her giving him a pleading look. Kurt sighs, "Ok, you are coming back, so vee can hang out zen."
Amanda smiles and gives Kurt a big kiss on the lips, once separated you can see a huge blush coming across Kurt's face, "You're the best Kurt," Amanda said as they approach a dark green 2016 Kia Forte.
"Uh uh Ja, it vas nozing" Kurt said
"Ahhh Kurt, you are such a wonderful boyfriend. Why can't I have a boyfriend," Kitty said
"Because Lance faahnds mutant supremacy more intoxicating," Rogue said not thinking of what she's saying.
Kurt and Amanda stiffen at what Rogue said while Kitty stops walking.
Rogue seeing her friend is no longer walking beside her stops and looks at her fellow X-Woman to see that her head is down. Rogue then realized what she said, "Kitty Aah," Rogue said
"You know, I think I'm gonna pass on the shopping trip," Kitty said frowning.
"What," Amanda said
"Yeah, I guess I'm just not in the mood anymore," Kitty said
"Kitty ahh didn't mean," Rogue said
"I know you didn't, but right now I kind of need to be alone so I'm just gonna take a walk and catch up with you guys later. Would you mind taking my things to the institute," Kitty said
"Uhh yeah, sure," Rogue said unsure
Kitty gave Rogue a sad smile, "Thanks Rogue," she said as she gave Rogue her bookbag. "And tell the girls that I'm sorry. Next time," with that Kitty walked away from Rogue, Kurt, and Amanda.
Rogue sighed, "Dammit," she said scolding herself for not thinking before talking. she swung Kitty's bag over her shoulder and turns around headed towards the 2016 Kia Forte which Bobby Drake is now leaning against.
"Hey, did I just see Kitty," Bobby asked curiously.
"Aah suggest you worry about what Aah'm gonna do ta ya if ya don't get off maah car Drake," Rogue snapped
"Whoa, ok. I'm off," Bobby said as he got off the car. "What's up with her," he asks Kurt and Amanda.
"Nothin, Aah just don't want people on maah car," Rogue said answering the question for the two. "Now where are the othahs?"
Bobby shrugs, "They should be here any minute," he said
The four teenagers then hear a noise gaining their attention to see Sam, Tabitha, Amara, Jubilee, James, Ray, Rahne, Roberto, and Forge all running toward them.
"Every taahm," Rogue says in exasperation.
Meanwhile Kurt and Bobby were making bets on who would get to the car first, "I'm betting Sam, Jubilee, and Rahne vill be zee first vuns here," Kurt said
"I'm going, Tabitha, Roberto, and I'll also go with Jubilee," Bobby said
"Why on Earth vood you sink zat Tabitha and Roberto vood vin," Kurt said
"Because Tabitha and Roberto aren't above cheating," Bobby said
"Vell I sink Sam and Rahne vill beat zem. Sam vas raised on a farm, so he has to have some good leg muscles and Rahne's powers are her turning into a verevolf. She's also been putting more hours in training," Kurt said
"Aah don't care who wins, Aah just want ta go," Rogue said
"Well, your wish will be granted because here they are," Amanda said as the rest of Xavier's students arrived, stopping right in front of the four. They then started to argue on who got first much to Rogue's annoyance.
"ENOUGH," Rogue said quieting down the group and getting them to pay attention to her, "Yall know the rules, X-Men get automatic seats in maah car, even Bobby."
"Hey," Bobby said but was ignored.
"Othahs are the first ones here get the rest of the seats unless told otherwise," Rogue continued
"Yeah, and I was the first one here," Roberto said
"No, ya weren't, Aah was," Sam said
"You boys need to get your eyes checked because I was the first one here," Tabitha said
"Uhuh, that was me," Jubilee replied
"Enough," Rogue said ending the argument, "Aah have three available seats and all of ya got here at the same taahm which means Aah decide."
"Three? Where's Kitty," Jubilee asked as she now is noticing that Kitty is missing from the group.
"She decided ta walk home today, so she won't beh joining us for both the raahd and the mall," Rogue informed the students.
"Why? She's the one who set up the trip," Rahne said
Rogue narrowed her eyes, "She has some business that she needs ta attend ta," she said
"What kind of," Rahne said but was interrupted.
"The none of ya business kind," Rogue said, knowing that Kitty would not want to be bombarded with are you okays when she gets back. It's the least she could do for her friend. "Now as Aah said, we got three extra spots and ya all got here at the same taahm. Which means Aah desaahd who raahds with us and Aah choose Jubilee," Rogue said
"Yes," Jubilee said
"Amara," Rogue chose making Amara smile in relief.
"And James," Rogue said making the final choice.
"Alright," James cheered
"The rest of ya, well ya know where Logan will be," Rogue said
"Come on that is so not fair," Roberto said
"Ya realize Aah can make it where Aah don't drive ya period raaht," Rogue said making Roberto shut up.
"Anyway, everyone insaahd. Kurt, Amanda, we'll see ya at the institute," Rogue said as she, Bobby, and the chosen three all got in the car.
"Bye Rogue," Kurt said
"See ya," Amanda said
The backdoor window slid down revealing Jubilee, "Enjoy a nice ride with Logan guys," she said to those who weren't chosen, she then laughed as the car drove off.
"Well time to go," Amanda said
"Right, see you guys later," Kurt said as he and Amanda went to find her car.
"Ah man, so not fair," Ray said as the rest of the New Mutants went to where Logan is waiting.
"Tell me about it, I haven't gotten a ride in two weeks," Roberto sulked
"Um guys, ya know Logan doesn't laahk to be kept waiting. We bettah move it before he decaahds that our weekend plans will be spending taahm in the danger room on level faahve," Sam said from ten feet ahead of the two.
Hearing this got the two rushing.
"We're hurrying," Roberto said
"I don't want to spend all weekend in the danger room," Ray said
Somewhere in Bayville
Kitty was walking down the sidewalk not at all paying attention on where she is going. It has been 30 minutes since she has left school and Rogue said that comment. She isn't mad at Rogue, she knows that Rogue didn't mean anything by it but the memory still hurt. 'It's been two weeks since that day. The day where I lost my chance at gaining a boyfriend,' she thought.
Flashback
Bayville Park, Friday, September 21, two weeks ago
It has been over a month since the X-Men, New Mutants, and The Brotherhood of Mutants defeated Apocalypse and things seem to be changing for the better. The public was starting to warm up to mutants. The Xavier institute is being rebuilt and at a fast pace, apparently there is someone who wants to help the X-Men get back on their feet quicker. School life is better, people are starting to talk to them again. Things are changing and it seems for the better.
However, as somethings change others tend to stay the same an example is that even though the public is starting to give mutants a chance, there are still those who want nothing to do with them, their former principal Kelly being one of them. The man is still on a campaign against mutants. Another thing that doesn't seem to have changed is Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants, they still believe that mutants are superior and deserve to be in charge.
Despite them working together it wasn't long till the X-Men and Brotherhood were once again battling each other.
And that is why Kitty who is wearing a purple t-shirt with black pants is here waiting in the park, she has been flirting with Lance Alvers for a couple of years. It's obvious that they like each other, and Kitty would honestly like to see if they can be something more than friends, but if that were to happen then things need to change and that is exactly why she has invited Lance to the park, to discuss this.
Kitty was sitting on the bench admiring the scenery, the sight making the brown-haired woman smile.
"Kitty," a voice said getting Kitty's attention.
Kitty turned her head to see Lance who is wearing his usual attire walking toward her.
Kitty gets up from the park bench and turns to him, "Hey Lance," Kitty said as Lance approached her and hugged her, after a moment Kitty returned the hug.
The two broke the hug and Lance looked at Kitty, "How are you doing," Lance said
"I'm doing well, things in school are improving, it's nice people are starting to give mutants a chance," Kitty said
"Pfft, let's see how long that lasts," Lance said making Kitty frown.
"The rest of the construction of the institute is going smoothly. We seem to be getting some outside help from a mysterious benefactor. Seems whoever is helping us wants us to get back on our feet as soon as possible. The professor says that within a couple of months it will be better than it was before," Kitty said
"Just wait, whoever's helping I bet has an alternate agenda," Lance said
"Is it really hard for you to believe that people care about us Lance," Kitty asked
"People don't care about us Kitty, they're nice to us until they get what they want, that's why we should be in control because we're better," Lance said
Kitty sighed, that seems like an opening, "Listen Lance, I called you here because there is something we need to discuss," she said
"Yeah, what's that," Lance asked curiously
"Us," Kitty said
"Us," Lance asked in surprise
"Yes, us," Kitty said firmly, "Listen Lance, for years you and I have had this thing going on between us. We've been flirting with each other, and you even took me to a few dances as a date, and it's been nice. I've had a nice time when we were at those dances, and I've had a good time with you."
"I've had a good time with you to Kitty," Lance said
Kitty gave a little smile but dropped it, "We've had a lot of fun together and I have been thinking, I want to see where we can go as more than just friends," she said
"When you say more than just friends," Lance asked
"I want to see where we can go as boyfriend and girlfriend," Kitty said
Lance smiled, "That's great, I want that as well," he said, Lance then pulled Kitty into a hug surprising her. "This is great."
"Lance," Kitty said
"Me and you are gonna have a great time Kitty. I've been holding off on doing certain activities with you because we weren't dating but now that we are," Lance said as he then gave Kitty a lustful look.
"What," Kitty said in surprise feeling an unpleasant shiver go down her spine at Lance's implication.
"I can't wait to rub this in Summers face that I'm dating one of his teammates. It will drive him crazy," Lance said
"Lance," Kitty said
"I can't wait to see his face," Lance said
"Lance," Kitty said
"And the rest of those arrogant X-Men's faces," Lance said
"LANCE STOP," Kitty said cutting the mutant boy off and phasing out of his grip.
"What up" Lance asked
"You need to listen," Kitty said
"I am, you're my girlfriend now," Lance said
"No, I'm not," Kitty said
"What," Lance said frowning, "You just said you wanted to be my girlfriend."
"I said I want to see where we can go as boyfriend and girlfriend, but you didn't let me finish of what I was gonna say," Kitty said
"Ok what," Lance said
"I want to see where we can go as boyfriend and girlfriend but if we do this then you need to do one thing," Kitty said
"One thing," Lance said not liking that he has to do something if anything Kitty should be the one willing to do what he wants to be with him.
Kitty nods, "You have to leave Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants," she said
"What! No," Lance said
"It's the only way we can be together," Kitty said
"I'm not gonna leave the Brotherhood, why don't you leave the X-Men," Lance argues
"Magneto fights so that the mutants can rule over the humans. The X-Men fight to preserve relations with humans and mutants. Magneto's dream is ludicrous," Kitty said
"What's ludicrous is that you think mutants and humans can get along. This world is all about power and we mutants have that power and humans fear us because of it. Things may be good now but just you wait one wrong move, and they will turn against you and then the only people who will look after you is yourself," Lance said getting angry.
"You don't know that," Kitty said
"I do know that I've lived it," Lance argued
"Humans and mutants can get along but as long as Magneto and the Brotherhood continues their attacks then the public will continue to fear mutants," Kitty said
"They should fear us. We're superior than they are," Lance said angrily
"No, we're not, we were all born on this planet, we live in the same city's, go to the same schools, we have the same problems. If we try, we can build a better future," Kitty said
"Pfft, you're delusional Kitty, humans and mutants living together as equals. That's never gonna happen, only one can be in charge and that will be the mutants, BECAUSE WE ARE STRONGER, WE ARE SMARTER, WE ARE FASTER, and under Magneto this will happen," Lance said
"You sound like a mad man right now," Kitty said
"No, I sound like a realist," Lance argued back
"I didn't come here to debate this Lance, I came here to tell you that you have a choice, ME OR THEM," Kitty said
"WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE," Lance said
"BECAUSE I WON'T DATE SOMEONE WHO IS PART OF A GROUP THAT HAS NO QUALMS OF KILLING PEOPLE. LAST TIME WE SAW EACH OTHER YOU NEARLY KILLED A BUNCH OF CHILDREN WITH YOUR EARTHQUAKES. IF IT WEREN'T FOR US THEY WOULD HAVE DIED," Kitty said
"I WAS ON A MISSION AND I HAD TO COMPLETE IT," Lance said
"EVEN AT THE COST OF INNOCENT LIVES," Kitty said
"THEIR HUMANS THEIR LIVES DON'T MATTER," Lance said
"THEY DO MATTER, EVERY LIFE MATTERS. WE HOLD GREAT POWER LANCE AND WE SHOULD USE THIS POWER TO PROTECT EVERYONE. BECAUSE WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY," Kitty said
"THAT'S A LOAD OF HORSE SHIT. WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY. WHOEVER CAME UP WITH THAT GARBAGE DESERVES TO BE SHOT," Lance said
Just then Kitty slaps Lance across the face.
Lance stands there and looks at Kitty, "You slapped me," he said
"You dam right I did, and DON'T YOU EVER SAY THAT AGAIN," Kitty said angrily
"WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE SLAPPING ME," Lance said as he walked towards Kitty, but she didn't back down.
"A great man said those words and has unknowingly created something amazing with those words," Kitty said defending herself, "I came down here to give you a choice. Me or the Brotherhood."
"Mutants are the future and humans are the past. Magneto will lead mutants to supremacy, I'm not leaving him or the Brotherhood," Lance said
"I know, that's why we're done," Kitty said
"What," Lance said
"You heard me, we're done," Kitty said, she then turned around and was about to walk away until she felt Lance grab her arm and pull her towards him.
"We are not done, we are done, when I say we're done," Lance said tightening his grip on Kitty's arm, most likely leaving a mark.
"That hurts, let go," Kitty said
"No, you listen, if mutants rule the world we can live a better life, you and me. We won't have to worry about anyone throwing insults, no hate groups, no judgmental looks, no Kelly campaigning against us, no government wanting us in some lab. None of that because we will rule the world, those hate groups will be destroyed, Kelly will be kissing our feet for forgiveness, and we won't have to worry about the government because Magneto will lead us, and he will look after us. With mutants in charge there will be no wars, no conflict. Humans are weak, and when war does come, we mutants will crush them and we will bring about a better world," Lance said
"But at what cost? Humanities freedom," Kitty said as she phased out of Lance's grip, "That's not a world I want to live in and if this is really the kind of person that you are then I don't want anything to do with you. Now I'm leaving," Kitty said as she then turned away from Lance and started walking away.
"No, you're not. I'm not done talking," Lance said as he placed his hand on Kitty's shoulder ready to forcefully turn her towards him.
Kitty however was prepared this time, right when Lance hand was on her shoulder, Kitty grabbed it and flipped him over her shoulder making him land on his back. Kitty then looks down at Lance in both anger and sadness, "It's over Lance, we're done," Kitty said and with that she walked away.
END FLASHBACK
"I guess I was wrong about Lance, I thought there was good in him," Kitty said, she looked to her left to see a couple sitting on a bench, the man having his arm around the woman's shoulder while she leans into him. The mere sight makes Kitty sigh in sadness, wishing nothing more than for that to be her.
Kitty continued walking until she found herself sitting down on a nice hill at the park staring at the clouds. She likes being in high places, it reminds her of some of her best memories with someone very special to her. This is someone who has a place in her heart that no one else could fill. She soon found herself thinking about his brown hair that she has wanted nothing to do than to run her fingers in it, those blue eyes that she has gotten lost into so many times, that smile that can turn from cocky to warmer than the sun. Kitty soon discovered what she was doing and quickly shook her head, "No, I can't think of him like that dammit. I'm not supposed to feel these feelings anymore, I was supposed to move on with Lance."
"Lance was a jerk though, he never put any effort into making peace with the X-Men and always followed Magneto's orders. He puts innocent people in danger and doesn't even care. I thought there was good in him, I thought that I could lead him down a better path. Guess I was wrong, he's to sucked into Magneto's dream to care about anything else, not to mention," Kitty said as she then thought of the lustful way, he looked at her as if he was ready to tear off her clothes. Kitty can't help but shiver at the thought, there is no way she would have let him do that, she may have liked him but her feelings for him aren't nearly that strong to trust him with her body.
There is one person that Kitty can think of that she would ever trust that much. She soon caught herself thinking that again, "UHHHH," she groaned. Kitty soon lied down on her back and looked at the sky, memories rushing through her head, 'Why can't I move on, even as I was doing whatever I was doing with Lance, I still thought of him. But why, he doesn't want to be with me anyways. If he did, we would already be together,' she thought
"Uh Peter, even when you're not here, you give me trouble," Kitty said
"Well, that's not exactly fair," a voice said from behind Kitty making her quickly turn around to see a 5'6, 18-year-old caucasian man with brown-hair with his bangs framing his face, light blue eyes, he had on a white shirt under a light blue open collared jacket, and dark blue jeans. "After all I haven't even begun to cause trouble yet."
"Peter," Kitty whispered not believing her eyes.
"Hey KitKat, what's up," Peter Parker also known as the Ultimate Spider-Man asked smiling at the girl on the ground.

Author Note: This was supposed to be a one chapter story but it got so long that I decided to make it a multi-chapter. I am quite happy with the outcome and hope you guys are to. Does anyone remember whether Kitty from X-Men Evolution was a genius or not? I don't think she was. But I'm not sure, anyone who knows let me know in the reviews so I can be more accurate.
