I made some changes to the beginning of this chapter.

"You seemed to be nervous lately Lexi." Mercedes replied to Lexi as all three of them-Pamela was with them as well-were eating lunch at the mall.

"Yeah, you've been looking over your shoulder every thirty seconds. What gives?" Pamela asked.

"It's nothing." Lexi stated. She then lets out a huge sigh and decides she should be honest with her friends. "I think someone is stalking me."

Both Pamela and Mercedes looked at her surprised. "Really? You're serious?" Mercedes asked. Lexi just nodded.

"I saw someone in the parking lot that one night. Then someone followed me to my apartment after I left the PC. And when we were hanging out after Survivor Series someone waited outside the Women's restroom."

"Do you know who's stalking you?" Pamela asked. "No. I don't. It might be some crazed fan. I really have no idea."

"Have you told Vince and Stephanie?"

Lexi shook her head. "I don't want to make a whole big deal. It's probably just my imagination running wild."

"Maybe you can ask 'You know who' to watch out for you." Mercedes suggested teasingly, clearly referring to John Cena.

Lexi looked at her. She and Pamela knew about Lexi's crush on John.

"Very funny guys. Besides I don't think it's a good idea. I don't want him to come all the way over here only for it to be a false alarm."

They continued eating their food before Pamela spoke. "Maybe you just need some time off."

"That sounds like a good idea. But I'm only a few months away from being Raw Women's champion for a full year." Lexi complained.

"I really hope I can make it past a year before they have me lose the title." she added. "I'm pretty sure they'll let you keep the title for a full year." Pamela replied.

"They gave me the night off tomorrow night. So this is the best time for a mini vacation as I can get." Lexi said. "I've got to do a promo tomorrow night." Mercedes replied.

They finished their meals before saying goodbye to each other.

Lexi headed back to her apartment. Thankfully no one followed her home. She started to feel better. So maybe she was just imagining it the whole time. Now she can relax and let it go.

She changed into a tee shirt and shorts and turned on the TV. A half hour went by before her phone started to ring. She picked it up, and it just said Unknown, so she just ignored it. Her phone rang again. Again it just said Unknown. She ignored it again.

It rang for a third time. Feeling a bit irritated she answered it. "Hello?" The person on the other end didn't saying anything. All she heard was light breathing.

"Who is this?" she asked.

"Did you really think I was done with you?" the person whispered. Her eyes went wide. She couldn't recognize the voice. "Who are you?" she demanded.

"You know who I am."

"No I really don't."

"I know who you are and where you live. I'm going to make you pay for what you did." the person warned menacingly.

Lexi started to tremble a little bit. Her heart racing.

"Listen. I don't know who you and what you're talking about. So stop calling me and leave me alone!" she demanded.

"Oh we're just getting started baby." The line went dead.

She was scared, literally shaking. She immediately called John.

"John!" she said sounding scared. "Lexi. What wrong?" "It was him."

"Who?" John wondered.

"The guy that's been stalking me. He just called me."

"He called you?" "Yes. And he said he knows who I am and where I live." "How did he get your number?"

"I don't know." "Can't you call the police?"

"No. It was an unknown number. They wouldn't be able to trace it." she said.

"Do you need me to come over?" he asked.

She felt her heart flutter. "I think I'd be safer if you were here."

"Okay. I'll be there in a few days. Just stay safe." he said.

"I will. See you then." she said before hanging up.

"Who would want to come after me? And what did I do to that person?" she asked herself.
