Samus had successfully made it towards her ship. She needed to fly it, and fast. For all she knew, Ridley was still following her. But, she got the ship up and running, and started to fly up when Ridley came back.

"You… COWARD! FIGHT ME!" Ridley screamed as he began to fly towards her ship. Samus immediately took off towards orbit, with Ridley tailing behind, failing to damage her cockpit and kill her.

"DAMN IT! WHY! WON'T! YOU!! DIE!!!"

With each word, Ridley's attacks were getting stronger and stronger. Ridley eventually stopped and flew away. Samus, thinking she was safe, set the ship for cruise mode and headed back to territory closer to the galactic federation.

RED ALERT* *RED ALERT*

SHIP UNDER ATTACK!*

WEAPONS DRAWING! *SHIELDS RASING!*

Samus woke up to this alarm, surprised and unprepared. Ridley had returned with a vengeance, a metal tail, and some cybernetics over his wing-bone where she shot him.

WEAPONS FAILING! *SHIELDS DYING!*

Ridley ripped out the navigations system, sending Samus spinning everywhere. The ship was spinning, going off course, and artificial gravity was failing.

NAVIGATIONS MALFUNCTIONING!*

"OH, SAMUS… It'S TIME TO DIE!!!" Ridley screamed, the sound echoed through the ship.

ERROR!*

LIFE SUPPORT MALFUNCTIONING!*

OXYGEN LEVELS DROPPING!*

Samus's vision started to fade… as Ridley laughed and said:

"Payback really feels good, doesn't it? Goodbye Samus, I'm finally rid of you, a pain in the ass relieved."

As Samus's vision faded into black, the last thing she saw was Ridley crushing the spare oxygen tanks with his bare hands…

Well, it's been a bit, hasn't it? Life's been busy, but I'm actually trying to improve my lifestyle and getting a schedule for myself.

Don't worry, Samus will return soon. Quite the twist at the end, wasn't it? Ridley is also going to return soon, and so is "the scientist". If you haven't figured who he is yet, you might not no much about the topic of my next story, coming soon: STAR FOX.

the ongoing theme here, and going forward is me taking my favorite things about franchises, ditching some other parts, and writing my own story in the process. For example, this story never once featured the actual Metroids, just the name for the title.

Also, some things I'm willing to reveal right now:

- The legend of Zelda series (or my telling of it) will follow the child timeline best, aka ocarina of time, majora's mask, twilight princess (no four swords adventures, sorry), and eventually breath of the wild.

- There will be a lot more crossovers than you might think throughout this introductory phase. Some characters from later games will be introduced here (introduced in melee onwards).

- Not everyone will make it into the finale. Not from a death perspective, but from a "how TF would I fit this character into the timeline without messing up the whole thing?" Characters will also be altered so they can appear in the same time period.

I'm exited for what I can do now, a lot of the gaps in between chapters were either from laziness or me coming up with too many ideas.

Till then,

Andro451, signing off.
