o I thought you guys might find this interesting. Whenever I plan out my one-shots, short and long fanfictions, I always create an outline for those who don't know. So, when I first wrote this chapter, it was meant to have a lighter feel. However, while writing it, I thought having a darker undertone fit the story better. So, don't worry, it won't be too dark, at least compared to what I've written before. Either way, I hope you enjoy it, especially since I felt that I shouldn't tease you anymore *wink*.

Chapter 102: A Schoolgirl's Sexual Tension
Normal P.O.V.
A cloudy night turned into a dreary morning. It was Wednesday, November 14th, the day of the Hidden Leaf's memorial for those lost in the war. With the year ending, the temperature dropped, and so did everyone's positivity. Yet, the world was bleak around them. Yet, nightmares and depression spread themselves throughout the Hidden Leaf like a plague. This is because, however, Lady Tsunade had hoped that, by having this memorial, her people could finally gain closure and continue with their lives.
Beautiful flower arrangements faced the entire village as the ceremony began. The head of each household stood to the right side of the framed picture of their loved one. The Council, Lady Tsunade, Master Jiraiya, Kakashi, Iruka, Shikamaru, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Lee were the first to pay their tributes. Since everyone except Iruka and Lee held the highest standing within the village, they led the ceremony. Sasuke and Iruka only joined them because of who they were mated. Once they paid their offerings, the rest of the village followed. Finally, after everyone followed their example, Lady Tsunade stood at the head and gave a speech.
Her saddened, hazel eyes stared into the sea of umbrellas. A snowy rain mixture poured down upon them, causing everyone to huddle together to stay warm. Puffs of white air appeared in front of her face with each exhale. Her cheeks were red from the cold. Like most people in the crowd, she did her best to keep her teeth from chattering. She took a deep breath, rubbed her gloved hands together, and calmed her nerves before starting her speech.
"People of the Hidden Leaf, lend me your attention. I wish we were here for more joyous reasons, but sadly that is not the case. Almost a month has passed since the Fourth Ninja War occurred. And although we came out victorious, we still suffered significant casualties. Luckily, thanks to the efforts of Kakashi Hatake's Team Seven, the current Kages, and the reanimated corpses of the former four Hokages, we survived what could have been the end of civilization as we knew it. So, I, Fifth Hokage Tsunade Senju, would like to thank everyone who participated for their efforts. Without you, our victory would not have been possible." She waited for the applause to finish before continuing.
"I can only hope that we use this new age of peace to better ourselves and the village. I want to see us thriving in ways we never thought possible. So, let's continue working together to rebuild our hopes, dreams, families, businesses and heal what has been broken. This will be a new age for us. But let's make it a good one." She said before waiting for another round of applause. Once it died down, she continued.
"With that being said, I would like to make a few announcements. First, I commission a talented artist to create a memorial befitting everyone, even from the other Four Nations, to properly honor them. This is the least we can do for those who lost their lives. I only hope that they can look down at us from the Heavens and be happy with how their sacrifices paved the way for our future. Second, I plan to step down from being Hokage, as you all are aware. Being one of the Legendary Sannin, my skills are better used elsewhere. Do not worry yourselves. I shall remain in the village and work side-by-side with Sakura Haruno at the hospital within the village.
In my place, I know that we made an announcement earlier that our own Naruto Uzumaki would take my place. Unfortunately, however, he cannot fulfill my role due to unforeseen circumstances. Do not fret. He will eventually step into the part of the Seventh Hokage once he has been cleared. In the meantime, starting at the beginning of the new year, Kakashi Hatake will become the Sixth Hokage and act as a buffer until Naruto Uzumaki can be sworn into the Hokage position. I ask that the Hidden Leaf accept and follow his lead as you've done mine these past few years. Also, I would like to welcome Shikamaru Nara into his new role of Advisor to the Hokage. This young man will be following his late father's footsteps, along with a few others. I have the utmost confidence that they will exceed that of their late parents.
Villagers of the Hidden Leaf, I know that things seem to be happening fast. But trust and believe me when I say that it will all be for the best. And I hope that you take comfort in knowing that things will not be easy for us either. I know I will have a hard time adjusting to some of the changes. However, just know that I know that I will leave you all in more competent hands than I ever could be. It has been an honor to serve you as your Fifth Hokage, like my grandfather: the late founder of the village, and First Hokage: Hashirama Senju. Thank you."
The crowd cheers as Jiraiya guides her down from the podium. The resounding noise brought a gentle smile to her red lips. Jiraiya's grip on her shoulder tightened as she laced their fingers together. Behind them, Kakashi, Iruka, Sakura, Lee, Naruto, and Sasuke stepped onto the podium. Naruto and Kakashi stood side-by-side as they gave a speech together.
"Citizens of the Hidden Leaf, I, Kakashi Hatake, and Naruto Uzumaki, would like to thank everyone for coming out this morning. I don't know about you guys, but the weather fits the event, ya? However, I will not allow this to set the tone for our future. As Lady Tsunade previously stated, I will be your new Hokage at the beginning of the new year. I vow to uphold my duties and be the best temporary Hokage I can be. I also promise to serve you to the best of my abilities. However, please do not let my new position stop you from coming to me with any problems. I promise that I will always do whatever I can to work with you. I would also like to thank all for your support in the future. Please, let us take this time to grieve and heal our wounds, especially those we can't see. We are members of the Hidden Leaf Village, and together, we will rise and become better than ever."
As the villagers cheered, Naruto and Kakashi traded places. Naruto waited for them to calm down before starting. "Hi, everybody. It's good to see all of you again." He nervously laughed. Almost everyone in the crowd shouted their admiration for the blond, causing him to blush and chuckle in embarrassment. "Thank you, everybody. I love you guys too. First off, I would like to thank everyone for their love and support. As many of you know, I… didn't grow up in the best conditions. My parents, the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze, and his wife, Lady Kushina Uzumaki, were my parents. I am also the Nine-Tails' Jinchūriki, a secret hidden from all of you to protect me and our village." Embarrassed looks spread among the faces of almost everyone in the crowd.
"I don't want anyone to feel embarrassed by these facts. Although most of you didn't treat me with the admiration and respect that you do know, I forgave all of you a long time ago. Having people by my side growing up made it easier. Thanks to my friends and loved ones," He smiled as he turned to Sasuke, causing the raven-haired feline to blush, "I understood your pain. I would be upset and want to blame anyone, even a child, for taking away my loved ones. And, although I was too young to understand, I do know and accept it. I accept all your pain and betrayal from the past sixteen years. I accept the burden placed upon me and will continue to use it as my strength. And even before I become Hokage and after, I promise to protect everyone until my last breath. So please, continue to support me, and I will do the same for you. Together, we will build a fantastic world of peace. And I promise to use my powers and strength to serve you until I take my last breath. I may not be invincible, but it'll have to take a lot to get rid of me. So, allow me to stick around and show you that I will be the greatest Hokage who ever lived, believe it!" He cheered with his fists in the air, causing everyone else to follow him.
"Only Naruto can turn a memorial into a group cheer." Sakura whispered into Sasuke's ear with a blush and smile.
"Yeah, but that's why we all love him. He brings the best out in even the worst people." Sasuke said with his arms crossed and a gentle smile.
"Speaking from experience?" Kakashi teases as he rubs elbows with his student.
"Maybe. But I know I'm not the only one."
"You are right. Naruto can inspire anyone to do anything. That's his power, and that's why he will fulfill his dreams." Iruka smiled.
Despite the snow and rain mix pouring down on them, the crowd continued to cheer with the blond fox, who will usher in a new future with his reign.

After the ceremony was over, Naruto and Sasuke silently returned to their apartment. Once inside, both peeled down to their boxes and decided to shower for warmth. While Naruto showered, Sasuke cooked lunch. He promised Naruto that he could have ramen after being discharged from the hospital. Since Naruto was tired and had already eaten before leaving the hospital, Sasuke rewarded him tonight. However, as he cooked, something disturbed the nerves in his brain.
For reasons unbeknownst to him, the raven's mind drifted back to when the girls visited Naruto in the hospital. The blond may not have known it, but the room practically wreaked of the girls' pheromones. It is no secret that Naruto grew into an attractive alpha. Hell, not even Sasuke expected that. Naruto wasn't the most handsome kid or skilled when they initially mated. However, none of that mattered to Sasuke. Naruto said something to him, causing him to show off his bright, perfect smile. But Sasuke couldn't hear it. The only thing he knew was that he couldn't stop his eyes from traveling down the perfect set of six-pack abs, hard v-cut along his hips, and thin, noticeable blond treasure trail. Something else he noticed was that Naruto wasn't wearing his boxers. But, of course, that shouldn't be a surprise to the overacting feline, except today. "I'm sorry, but it's rare for you to space out like that. Are you alright?" Naruto asked cautiously.
"Yeah. I guess I must have been daydreaming or something."
"Oh yeah? What about? I wanna hear."
"It's nothing important. Now, why don't you go read or something so I can concentrate on cooking. I'm making your favorite."
"Aw, my baby wants to spoil me tonight. Well," Suddenly Sasuke's world stopped as he felt Naruto's hard body press against his back, his large hands wrapped around his body and his warm breath on his ear. "Since you're spoiling me tonight, why don't I return the favor. After all, you promised that after the war, I would get you all to myself to do with whatever I wanted."
Even after Naruto left the kitchen, it took him a moment before Sasuke regained composure. He mentally cursed himself before continuing to cook angrily.

Lunch was somewhat awkwardly silent. Finally, Naruto tried to converse with his fuming mate but said feline wasn't into it. So, instead, they eat in silence. The apartment still felt like it was on fire to Sasuke, and the thoughts about Naruto and the girls wouldn't leave his head. Although Sasuke knew that none of the girls would try and go after his alpha, especially since they know they're mated. However, it doesn't calm the anxieties inside of him. Suddenly, Sasuke excused himself from lunch, claiming he was not feeling well, and practically ran into their bedroom. Things didn't seem right to Naruto, but he knew better than to question Sasuke right now. Instead, he would try later after checking on the omega. For now, Naruto would take care of the chores and think of the best course of action.

Sasuke laid on their bed in the darkroom fetal position with the blankets pulled over his head. The rain and the snowy mix didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon, so he tried to let the sounds of it pelting the window lull him to sleep. When that didn't work, Sasuke was forced to lay awake and try to crush his schoolgirl feelings.
"This is absolutely fucking ridiculous! I am an Uchiha. I don't get jealous, especially towards girls staring at Naruto. But, on the same note, I can't help how I felt at that moment. How dare they openly stare at what they knew was mine. I know I'm being ridiculous. The girls would never try to go after Naruto; well, Ino might, but she's always seemed like the slutty type. But I heard she tried to court Sai or get him to court him. Hn. Good luck with that ignorant pretty boy. The guy doesn't know anything about feelings. Hn. Maybe they are perfect for each other: an empty puppet and a puppet master to pull the strings. Either way, I just hope they don't prove me wrong. I would hate to kill some girls, no matter who they are."
While the raven was lost in his thoughts, he failed to notice when Naruto entered the room. Then, suddenly, a dip in the bed and a gentle touch on his hip brought him back.
"Sasuke, you ok, babe? I can feel you seething from the living room."
"I thought I told you to stop calling me that," Sasuke grumbled.
"Why are you acting like this? You rarely act like this unless you don't get your way. Come on, why don't you come from out of the covers and talk to me." Naruto encouraged after ignoring Sasuke's comment.
It took some time and more coaching before the raven appeared from under the blankets with a grumpy look on his face. "There's my sexy kitty cat. Now, come here and tell your alpha what's eating ya."
"You're going to think it's stupid, and I'd rather save myself the embarrassment."
"Sasuke, babe. You could say nothing that will make me think your thoughts are stupid. Now, tell me what's wrong so we can work through it."

Naruto did his best to hold back his laughter, but the feeling was too much, and he ended up falling on the floor in a laughing fit. "See! I knew you'd laugh!" Sasuke glared.
"No, no, no. You got it all wrong. I'm not laughing at that. I'm laughing at the situation." Naruto continued to laugh until he was wheezing.
"If you want to make it to your next birthday, or to see yourself become Hokage, then I suggest you stop laughing immediately."
After hearing the threat, Naruto did his best to calm himself before continuing. "I'm sorry, babe. But it's not like your thoughts were a secret, ya know. I'm pretty sure everyone within that room, hell possibly the hospital, probably felt your murderous intent. But Sasuke, can we be honest for a second? You know that none of those girls would ever do anything to take me from you, right? I mean, Ino never liked me to begin with. I just found out that Hinata had feelings for me, but I'm pretty sure she started moving on to Kiba already. Karin is my cousin, so ew. And, if anything, I should be worried about Sakura-chan trying to steal you from me. That girl's been in love with you since she was like five or seven."
"I already talked to Sakura about that."
"Well, there ya go, Sasuke. You have nothing to worry about. I'm all yours, and I will always be yours." Naruto smiled as he kneeled in front of the worried omega.
"Don't you think I know that?!" Sasuke suddenly screamed as he threw the covers off, jumped out of bed, and walked in front of the mirror while pulling his long hair. "I know all of that already. Hell, I spent the last hour or so in here trying to convince myself of that too. But no matter what I do, it doesn't work. I still have these… feelings that I know aren't right. However, I think it's my omega that's making me jealous. I don't remember being like this when I was younger."
"I hate to break this to ya, but you were definitely like this when we were younger. In fact, I would say that you were worse when we were younger." Naruto chuckled as he walked behind the frazzled male. "You just need to calm down and try to relax. The last month has been stressful for you. Look, I don't have to start my training or see Granny Tsunade tomorrow. So why don't we spend the day in the house together? We don't even have to leave the bed if you don't want to."
Sasuke sighed as he continued to stare into the mirror. "Maybe you're right. Maybe that's what I need right now. It'll give me time to adjust."
"There you go. See, I always know what's best for you."
Naruto smirked as he started to wrap his arms around his mate. But before he could, Sasuke turned around and jumped back with a scared look in his eyes.
"Don't touch me… I… don't want to be touched…." He whispered.
"Sasuke,"
"Stop, Naruto! I said don't move."
Sasuke's sudden change in behavior scared the blond. It wasn't like Sasuke to change moods so suddenly. It really scared Naruto as to what could be happening to his mate. However, once the blond alpha took a moment and analyzed his mate's body language, he already knew exactly what was wrong with him, and it excited him.
First, small drips of sweat beads formed at Sasuke's hairline. Next, pale hands gripped the vanity until the knuckles turned white.
