It has been months since Sayuri was promoted to chunin rank along with Kurenai and Asuma, it has been 3 months, since lord 4th, Minato Namikaze, decided to team up both team 10 and team 7.

This was fine for the missions except the face Sayuri began to feel awkward around Obito.

While the teamwork for both the teams where great, a team good on ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu but for Sayuri, seeing Obito talk flirty with Rin, made her heart pain in jealousy.

Why could he not talk with her?

What did Rin have that she did not have?

'I mean, Rin is a nice girl, but she barely gives him any attention. Obito can go on a long speech about himself and all she will do is say okay and then give attention to Kakashi.'

Speaking of Kakashi, after teaming up with him, Sayuri realized he was not at all that bad.

Sure, he was stuck-up, but that boy had a weird way of showing stuff.

It also helped the fact that even he was good with ninjutsu, and both would often train together and improve themselves. As much as she would hate to admit but Kakashi helped her with her taijutsu.

One of the few good things that happened out of the entire thing is Kurenai and Asuma started dating.

When Asuma told Kurenai that he liked her, Kurenai immediately said, she liked him too and both started dating.

Rin on the other hand, continued to annoy her.

'I must not get distracted by Obito and Rin. I am Madara Uchiha's great granddaughter and I must not fail. I must be the strongest kunoichi out there.'

Sayuri thought to herself.

Even though Minato had sent them to destroy Kannabi Bridge, majority of the time she was distracted.

"We will reach there tomorrow morning; we must rest now." Kakashi said.

"Where do we rest?" Kurenai asked.

"Yes Hatake, this is a middle of no-were." Asuma added.

"There should be a lodge nearby. Lord 4th mentioned it to me."

Obito sighed and sat down on the floor, "Today has been truly rough day."

Rin just smiled at Obito and nodded.

Sayuri was hangry and seeing Obito blush due to Rin made her even more annoyed. She ended up snapping, "We cannot rest now. I am going." and continued walking.

Kakashi also started walking.

Asuma and Kurenai looked at each other knowing something was wrong about everything.

Fortunately for everyone the lodge was only few miles away and the owner told them, that they had to cook their own food and share one single room.

"Let's make something then." Kurenai said. Rin looked at the vegetables around them and nodded.

"So, what are you guys making?" Asuma asked.

"None of your business. Uchiha and you don't do shit." Kakashi corrected.

Asuma narrowed his eyes towards Kakashi, and he continued, "You are the son of the 3rd Hokage while Uchiha is the great granddaughter of 2nd Hokage. Both of you are barely useful other than battles."

Kurenai and Sayuri glared at Kakashi.

'That one time I thought this boy was growing up but no, he is nothing but an arrogant git. I swear one day I am going to beat the shit out of him.' Sayuri thought while Asuma just rolled his eyes.

"Look Rin-chan, I am cutting the vegetables." Obito suddenly said and Rin turned towards him, said "Good job" but then turned towards Kakashi and went "I know you will cook well Kakashi-kun."

Kurenai swore she saw fumes coming from Sayuri and the said girl left without any words.

Asuma and Kurenai looked at eachother and Kurenai nodded. Asuma sighed and went after Sayuri.

Sayuri had gone to the room and was sitting on the bed.

"Sayuri?" Asuma asked.

"Yes?"

"Let's go outside for a fag."

"That's not good for you."

Asuma smirked, "Old enough to kill, old enough for a smoke."

"You go, I am not in the mood."

"Let's go outside." Asuma said and dragged her out of the room and into the small balcony.

He lit up his fag and went "You sure you don't want one?"

"Yes."

"What happened?" Asuma asked.

"Nothing." Sayuri replied.

"You know I can tell that you are lying."

Sayuri smiled, "Well I guess you caught me."

"Care to share?"

"Everything." Sayuri sighed and went "I know my parents and grandparents treat me well, but I know they have a lot of expectations from me. I do not want to disappoint them. I am just not good enough. My taijutsu is not good and physically I am not that strong. My genjutsu and ninjutsu is improving but it is not enough. I try again and again and as hard as I can, but I always fall short."

"We are just chunin's now. I am sure once you reach jonin rank, you will improve a lot. You need more training and experience. Not all of us are genius. Some of us must work hard. But I know what you feel, dad was hokage and people expect me to be exactly like him."

"At least Kurenai is there for you."

"It's Obito, isn't it?" Asume asked.

"You figured out?"

"We are friends since 9 yrs old. It's been more than 3 yrs almost. I know your personality well enough. What did he do?"

Sayuri sighed, "He is the reason why I cannot concentrate."

Asuma smiled, "Tough luck" Knowing very well Obito liked Rin, who liked Kakashi.

'So Sayuri likes Obito, Obito likes Rin, Rin likes Kakashi. If Kakashi likes Sayuri, it will be a drama that I would love seeing.' Asuma thought and smiled.

"Why are you smiling?" Sayuri asked.

"Oh nothing." Asuma said and laughed out loud.

Sayuri gave a small giggle.

They continued talking when Kurenai came to them, "Food is ready."

"Let's go" Sayuri said and the three of them went downstairs to the dining area.

The Kurenai, Asuma, Obito and Rin chatted away while Kakashi and Sayuri ate their food quietly.

Once they were done, the team went to clean the utensils, while Asuma and Sayuri went back to the room.

"I fail to understand, how unhelpful they can be." Kakashi remarked.

"You shouldn't talk about our friends like that." Obito said.

"Whatever."

After they cleaned up the utensils they went back to the room.

"So, we need to sleep now." Asuma said and checked the room properly. The room only had one bed.

"You girls can take the bed; us boys will sleep on the floor." Obito said and sat down on the floor.

Rin and Kurenai went to the bed and lied down, while Asuma and Kakashi lied down on the left side, and Obito on the right side.

The bed turned out to be too small for three people, hence Sayuri decided to sleep on the chair,while keeping her head on the small table.

'This is so uncomfortable.' Sayuri thought while keeping her head on the table.

She kept on moving her head, when she felt a hand on her shoulder, Sayuri looked up and saw Obito, "Yes Obito-kun?"

"If this is too uncomfortable, you can sleep on the floor. I will sleep here."

"No, it's fine, I can do it." Sayuri reassured.

"Can you hime-chan?" Obito asked gently.

Sayuri nodded and Obito laughed, "You are truly stubborn, hime-chan. Last time, this happened you complained about a bad back."

Sayuri smiled, "I know."

Obito then took his goggles and transformed it into a pillow, "Take this."

Sayuri put the pillow on the table and kept her head, but it was still uncomfortable for her.

Obito spoke, "You should just lie down."

Sayuri took the pillow and put it on the floor where Obito was sleeping and lied down. While sleeping on the floor was not fun, it was much better than the chair situation. She soon fell asleep.

Now Obito was trying to sleep in an uncomfortable situation.

'This is just bad.' He thought. He stood up, trying to think of a way to make things better. He saw there a little space near the right side of the bed.

With Sayuri being short, she took up less space. He sat himself down and placed his head on the wall.

'This is better than the chair.' Obito thought and slowly yawned before going off to sleep.
