It's has been 2 weeks since, Rin had died and they held her funeral just 1 day after her death.

Kakashi and Obito where not in a mental state to attend the funeral but they did visit her grave when no one was there and cried.

"My Rin-chan is gone." Obito would cry while holding flowers for her grave.

Kakashi looked at his hand and said, "No matter how much I wash my hands her blood is still there."

"If only things went differently…" Obito trailed off and both the boys sat in silence near her grave.

For 2 weeks, Minato had tried giving them missions, but both would reject.

In fact, neither of them would even leave the house other than to buy groceries.

Taking away the grocery part, they didn't leave the house.

Normally Obito would have been happy that he got promoted to jonin but he kept on saying he would rather be chunin and have Rin alive.

Kushina was also grieving Rin's death.

She sat in front of her grave and wiped few tears.

"Kushina-san"

Kushina turned to see Sayuri there holding flowers.

"Sayuri-chan, I see." Kushina said sadly.

As Kushina got up, Sayuri noticed something about Kushina looked weird, especially her stomach area. It looked different.

"Kushina-san, please don't mind if I ask you something."

Kushina nodded and Sayuri asked, "Are you pregnant?"

Kushina hearing the question started laughing.

"Kushina-san?"

"Yes, yes I am." Kushina confirmed and continued, "You are pretty smart."

Sayuri grinned, "Does Sensei know about this?"

"That dummy has no clue. Keep it a secret for me."

Sayuri nodded and they both started laughing.

After dropping the flowers in front of Rin's grave, Sayuri bowed and said softly,

"You can rest peacefully Rin. I will make sure your boys are safe and taking care of themselves."

Kushina looked at Sayuri and thought, 'She truly is a kind child.'

Kakashi had tears in his eyes as he washed his hands again and again.

"Why is her blood not going away?"

Suddenly he heard a knock at the door and saw Sayuri there.

"Tell sensei, I am not well." Kakashi said and was about to close the door, when Sayuri just entered his house, closed the door for him and sat on the sofa.

"What do you want?" Kakashi asked.

"Are you eating?"

"Excuse me?"

"Are you having your meals?" Sayuri asked again.

"What is it to you?"

"Cause you are my friend and I care Kakashi."

Sayuri said and went into the kitchen.

She opened the fridge and saw some vegetable and eggs.

"You are not eating well. There is no proper protein."

Kakashi just stared as he watched her take some vegetables and began to cut them.

"What are you doing?" Kakashi asked.

"Cooking."

"Since when did you learn to cook."

Sayuri giggled and said, "Did you think Kurenai did all the cooking and cleaning when team 10 went on a mission? Asuma and I did some work as well."

"How come you never helped when team 7 was there?"

"Causes you cooked well and mine is average. I mean it is edible, don't worry."

Sayuri said and finished chopping off the vegetables and went to make rice.

"What are you making?"

"Rice, vegetable soup and fried eggs and then I am taking you grocery shopping with me."

"Absolutely not."

Kakashi said while he watched Sayuri make the rice.

"Don't fight. I give you time till tomorrow to buy proper food else I am coming in with the groceries and you are paying for everything."

"And then you will rob me with your expensive taste." Kakashi said and gave a small smile.

Sayuri made a face and Kakashi just nodded.

'She cheered me up. That's why she came. I see.'

Kakashi sat on the chair and waited as Sayuri finished cooking and served him, "Eat."

"Fine" Kakashi said and began eating the food.

"Actually, it is not that bad."

"I know"

"It's not good as well" Kakashi teased back.

"Yeah yeah"

After making sure Kakashi ate well and in general was in better mood she went to meet Obito.

When she knocked on the door, his grandmother opened it and Sayuri asked, "Can I come in grandma?"

"Yes Hime-sama" the old woman said and immediately bowed and Sayuri bowed in return.

Quickly closing the door, the woman asked, "Shall I get you anything?"

Knowing it would be rude to reject her but also not wanting her to do much work, Sayuri said, "Glass of water , please."

The old woman nodded, immediately went to give the Uchiha princess the glass of water.

After drinking the water, Sayuri asked, "Where is he?"

"Upstairs, he only comes down to eat or if I tell him to buy groceries."

Sayuri nodded and went up. She saw a closed door and knocked.

"Grandma, I am tired."

"It's me Sayuri."

Sayuri heard Obito open his door and look at her, "Hime-chan, please tell sensei I will be working from this week. I do not feel good, and I know I am a jonin now. No need to congratulate me."

Obito was about to close the door, but Sayuri pushed her way in.

"Hime-chan, I am tired." Obito said.

"Do you think I care?" Sayuri asked.

Obito lied on his bed and put the blanket over his head.

"Please leave."

"You know, sometimes it's better to grieve openly."

Sayuri watched Obito still lying still.

"I am here for you and Kakashi. If it helps you can tell me, I will not judge."

Sayuri watched Obito got up from the bed, "Hime-chan, I want to be left alone please."

"No" Sayuri said.

"Hime-chan"

"Obito-kun, I am not leaving."

Obito sighed and lied down, knowing it was no use arguing with her.

"I love Rin, I really do but I know she loved me as a friend. I knew I could never be her lover but at least a friend. I lost per permanently."

"I am sorry."

Obito turned to her and asked, "What for?"

"If I arrived earlier, if team 10 arrived just 5 mins before we could have saved her."

"Maybe you are right, maybe you are wrong but who knows? What is the use now to think about that? Had Kakashi and I thought of something else maybe this would have not happened."

Obito then stood up and looked down at her.

Sayuri looked up and said, "Rin would be sad if you are behaving like this. She liked you as a friend and would break her heart seeing you like this."

Sayuri stared at Obito, not knowing how he will react.

Would he tell her to mind her own business?

She got surprised seeing tears roll down Obito's cheeks.

She slowly went and hugged him and Obito hugged her back in return, rested his forehead on her shoulders and started crying.

It went on for about 10 mins, and he stopped crying.

"Sorry for ruining your dress."

"Don't worry." Sayuri replied.

After this incident, both Kakashi and Obito became closer with Team 10.

Also, Sayuri found out Kakashi likes Icha Icha.

The first time she read that book, Kakashi was busy cooking while she quietly read through the contents.

She kept the book in the original position and later secretly bought a copy for herself.

"To think Kakashi, you of all people would like such a book."

"It's a beautiful piece of literature that your dumb head cannot process."

"Right. All you read is porn."

"There is difference between Icha Icha and porn. Icha Icha is a beautiful book with great plot. Do you think, your dumb head will get it? There is a reason why you are a chunin and I am a jonin."

"Probably blackmailed Minato-sensei."

"My talent speaks for yourself, dummy."

"Ah, reading porn turns out to be talent."

Kakashi and Sayuri started laughing as they teased each other.

"Bakashi, Hime-chan wait up."

Kakashi and Sayuri turned and saw Obito running towards them.

"Hime-chan, I need to borrow Kakashi for few minutes. Minato-sensei is calling us."

Sayuri nodded and watched both the boys leave.

Obito and Kakashi entered Minato's office and saw that he has a grave expression on his face.

Both knew something serious was about to happen.

"Obito and Kakashi, both off you will be assigned as ANBU from now on."

They looked at Minato and then at the uniform in front of them that Minato placed.

"Take your masks." Kakashi took it first and Obito.

"Go back to your home now. Come back sharply at 6PM."

Obito and Kakashi nodded and left immediately.

Obito looked at Kakashi and said, "It's time for us now, to start afresh."
