It's been almost 3 years since Rin and died and Obito got promoted to a jonin.
Obito and Kakashi serves as members of the ANBU and had a reputation for being one of the deadlier members in the team.
With the death of Obito's grandmother, Obito moved out from the Uchiha compound and started living with Kakashi.
Neither had anyone at the moment and living together helped them.
"We have a mission tomorrow." Obito told Kakashi.
"I know" Kakashi said and opened his favourite Icha Icha book.
"You still read that porn?"
"That is not porn but a beautiful piece of literature. It's fine art."
Obito just made a face at Kakashi's antics.
"I cannot believe you would like such a book."
"Jiraiya-sama wrote the best literature out there."
"Whatever" Obito said and started wearing his shoes.
"Where are you going?"
"Her grave."
Obito made his way to the cemetery and found Rin's grave.
"Hi, Rin-chan, how are you? Bakashi and I have a mission tomorrow. Please watch over us."
Unknown to Obito, Sayuri was also there in the cemetery, who went to visit her grandparents.
She heard every word that Obito said and her heart sank.
'Even now he loves her. Uchihas are known to be an emotional clan and once they love, they cannot move on easily. Obito still loves Rin and I feel for Obito. Grandfather, grandmother, give me strength to move on. I cannot keep loving someone, who sees me as a friend.'
Sayuri quietly left the cemetery.
Obito was still busy talking with Rin's tombstone. He updated her about Kakashi's and his achievement.
"You know, sensei has a child now. Naruto is 3 years old and keeps on asking Kushina-san for a brother. He sees me and Bakashi as his brothers, but he wants to be a big brother." Obito smiled.
"Rin, I know you already know this but back when I got crushed by the rock, I heard everything. I am not mad at you and can never be mad at you. You were only 13, still young."
Obito laughed, "Imagine 16 years old calling 13 years old young. But I guess that is the life of a shinobi."
Obito then looked up and saw birds flying above them,
"I think, I am liking someone now, but I am not sure. She is still a chunin but she is very strong. I think she will be made jonin soon. Also, she understands me. Her presence calms me down and I always want to protect her no matter what. But I can never have her, after all can a pauper ever get a princess?"
Obito suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder and he turned to see Kakashi, "Bakashi?"
"Let's go. See you later Rin, till the time we meet again." Kakashi said and the boys made their way back at their home.
Sayuri recalled the 4th Hokage, Minato had sent her on a relatively easy mission to retrieve 3 missing kids, who are believed to be kidnapped.
How did the simple mission turn out be related to child-trafficking related to prostitution is something that she would never understand.
'I hope my clone reaches there in time.'
Sayuri thought as she went towards the ground, the kidnappers have kept the kids.
"Let us go"one child cried.
"Please" another said.
One of the kidnappers kicked the child on the face and started laughing.
While another went to make a move, only to get punched by Sayuri.
"Oh, look at this little kunoichi, trying to fight us." The first kidnapper said.
"Let them go, you brute." Sayuri stated and activated her sharingan.
"Oh, an Uchiha, eh. Too bad we don't deal with your kind but you are not strong enough."
Thanks to her Sharingan, her was able to dodge all the punches and kicks aimed at her.
When she used her fire style jutsu, the kidnappers used water style jutsu, effectively destroying the fire.
'Rookie move' Sayuri thought and used a thunder style jutsu and almost electrocuted the kidnappers.
While she was busy with the 2 kidnappers, she didn't notice a 3rd kidnapper arrive with an evil look at the children.
"Show time."
Sayuri noticed an additional presence,and went charging towards him.
"Shadow possession jutsu"one of the kidnappers said shocking Sayuri as she got captured.
"How?" Sayuri asked.
The kidnapper smirked, "I got Nara clan blood in me but how does it matter to you."
"Let the children go." Sayuri said angrily.
"Watch this" another one said and went up to the children.
The three young girls where too scared to move or say anything.
The kidnapper picked up one of the child by her dress and slapped her.
"Stop it." Sayuri said.
But no one paid any attention to her words.
The kidnapper then suddenly removed the small girl's clothes living her naked.
"Stop, do you not have any shame, what are you doing?"
These words went ignored.
The kidnapper smiled and put the child on the ground, the little girl looked at Sayuri and said, "Help me" but Sayuri was unable to move her body.
The little girl gave a loud cry as the kidnapper penetrated a kunai in her.
"No, stop" Sayuri said, her tears flowing from her eyes.
"Stop it"
"What can a little woman like you do?" teased the kidnapper.
Sayuri saw the girl's get stabbed on the chest.
"NO" Sayuri said with a loud and cold voice.
"How dare you disobey me." Sayuri's voice was low yet deadly.
She felt great anger in her, as if she wanted to kill the men in the worst possible ways.
She felt great surge of her chakra and she could started moving her body.
"How?"
"I am going to kill you all." Sayuri said, blood flowing from her eyes.
Obito and Kakashi arrived at the spot, the masks hiding their faces.
"Sayuri, she?" Kakashi asked looking at the blood flowing from her eyes and her sharingan looking different.
Obito who had his 3 tomoe sharingan activated said, "Mangekyou sharingan"
Kakashi looked at Obito and they saw Sayuri weave some signs and blue flame surrounded her.
"It can't be" Obito said in a shocked manner and removed his masks.
"What are you doing?" Kakashi said alarmed.
"Do as I say, it's important." Obito said seriously.
Kakashi knew that Obito normally had a goofy personality but when he turns serious, then people should listen to him.
Despite being an ANBU, Kakashi removed his mask.
"Why?"
"She has unlocked the rare moeru ninjutsu."
"The what?"
"Moeru. It's a fire release but unlike other fire release which is red, this produces blue flame."
"What is the speciality?" Kakashi asked.
"Two most powerful abilities of the mangekyou are amaterasu and moeru. Amaterasu releases a black flame and burns everything it touches. The moeru however has the speciality to burn only the target set by the caster."
Kakashi's eyes widened at that, "So it means, that in accidental situations you can kill your comrade with Amaterasu but not with moeru."
"Essentially yes, as long as we do not appear a threat to her, even if the flame touches us we will be fine. Look" Obito said and touched the blue flame near the tree.
Kakashi did as well and felt nothing.
They heard a loud scream and both turned to see two of the kidnappers burning.
"Stop it" one shouted in pain.
"Help" another said.
"Why should I help you? This little girl cried for help and you let it happen, why should I help you" Sayuri screamed as blood and tears fell from her eyes with anger and watched the men turn to ashes.
She then turned to the kidnapper who had assaulted and murdered the girl and asked "Any last words?"
The man was terrified and started to runaway but the blue flame surrounded him.
"I am going to kill you like you killed her"
Obito and Kakashi watched in shock as Sayuri stabbed the man multiple times, and then proceeded to cut off legs.
"I beg you."
"So did she" Sayuri said darkly and beheaded him.
The blue flame disappeared and Sayuri put her knees on the ground.
Sensing that it was safe to come out, Obito and Kakashi came out from the hiding.
"Sayuri?" Kakashi asked.
Sayuri looked up and saw them, sensing that they were the genuine guys, she de-activated her sharingan.
Obito was observing her, the way her long waist length black hair, that was tied up as a ponytail, framed her face, or how her face with dishevel hair somehow made her look pretty.
He slowly made her way towards her when she started crying.
"I couldn't help her. She kept on asking me but I couldn't help her at all."
Obito sat down next to her, "Hime-chan"
Sayuri put her hand on his shirt and gripped it and continued crying, "That girl looked at me with such hope in her eyes and I let her down. I tried but I was still too weak for it."
Obito looked at her sadly and put a hand on her head and pressed her forehead against his chest.
"Hime-chan, I am sorry, if only we arrived earlier,we could have prevented this from happening."
Sayuri tried to dry her tears but it still continued to flow.
"Take your time, hime-chan" Obito said gently and looked at Kakashi.
Kakashi nodded and went towards the 2 girls, who looked very scared.
"I am your friend. See that nee-san that saved you, I am her friend."
Both the girls look terrified.
"I am here to help you." Kakashi reassured but the girls still looked scared.
Meanwhile, Sayuri managed to control her tears and looked at the girls.
"He is my friend."
The 2 girls then reached for Kakashi's extended hand and he picked them up gently.
Obito activated his mangekyou sharingan and used kamui to directly transport back to Konoha.
