"Is that a mailbox?" Asked Dipper in confusion.
"Yes, he is as powerful as he is intimidating." Said Chutzpar in a serious tone as he stared at the mailbox.
Dipper immediately broke into laughter.
"THAT'S your master?" Said Dipper recovering from laughter. "This is gonna be easier than I thought."
Silence descended upon the area, confusing Dipper until he realized all the minotaurs were staring at him. There was also a bear with multiple heads there.
"He knows you're here." Said Chutzpar as he moved towards the minotaurs in the distance.
It took less than a minute to get there and Dipper quickly noticed the multi headed bear.
"What the-" he said before noticing Mabel in a cage next to the bear "Mabel!" Exclaimed Dipper.
"Dipper! I know it looks stupid, but that mailbox is-" said Mabel hurriedly trying to warn Dipper.
"SILENCE!" A bear with multiple heads cut in loudly. "The great one is about to speak!"
Dipper stared at his sister worriedly before turning to the mailbox as it started shaking.
After a few seconds that felt like hours, the mailbox finally stopped shaking and a the multi headed bear carefully pulled out a letter from inside.
The minotaur cleared his throat and began reading. "Greetings, Dipper and Mabel Pines. I have been expecting you!"
Dipper raised a brow as the minotaur continued.
"Mabel has violated the laws of space time and the punishment is death." Said the multi bear calmly.
""WHAT?!"" Exclaimed Dipper in shock as Mabel's heart sank.
"Much of your life, Dipper, has been tampered with by her. This cannot go unpunished!"
Mabel was both terrified and confused. The mailbox wasn't supposed do this, it wasn't supposed to do any of this. This had to be a trick or something, right?
"You can't do that! She's my sister!" Exclaimed Dipper angrily.
The mailbox shook before another message arrived. The spokesperson minotaur pulled out the second letter and read.
"She's not. THAT'S why she's here in first place. You do know how much she lied to you."
"That stuff about another life? I don't care! She cares about me and I care about her!" Begged Dipper
"Even if she only started caring about you because of her DOT DOT DOT knowledge of Gravity Falls?"
Dipper turned to Mabel who looked away in shame as what the mailbox said was partially true.
Seeing this, Dipper's looked hurt. But before he could say anything, the mailbox sent another letter.
"If you wish to save her, then you will have to pass three trials. Each one more grueling, painful and torturous than the last." Said the bear. "Do you wish to continue?"
Dipper gulped before turning to Mabel who was still staring at the ground in guilt. He then took a deep breath and turned to the mailbox with a determined expression.
"I do!"
The minotaurs gasped before the mailbox sent one last message.
"Let the trials begin."

"The first trial. The trial of mind!"
"Huh? A chess board." Said Dipper seeing two seats and a chessboard with two sides.
"A match against one of the minotaurs." Said Multi bear pointing at a minotaur. "Are you ready?"
Dipper's confidence immediately skyrocketed as he sat down for the match. Then he saw Mabel looking unsure about the situation. Like she didn't trust him to do this.
He'll show her then.
The match started and Dipper quickly asserted his dominance on the board. It was all smooth until the multi bear gave the minotaur a letter.
Suddenly, the minotaur began winning as if he knew every move he was going to do. Dipper's will began to waver as he started losing and soon started panicking.
"Dipper!" Mabel called her brother.
Dipper heard and turned to her silently.
"I know this sounds cheesey, but you're the best brother I could have ever asked for and I think you're cooler than anyone else in both my lives. Win or lose, just...please don't give up because of me."
Dipper smiled at the words before focusing back on the match.
The tides of battle quickly shifted in Dipper's favor as for some reason, the seemingly omniscient mailbox was making mistakes. Dipper though this was odd, but he wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth and took the win.
And him and his sister cheered together happily for that.

"The second trial. The trial of power!"
"Whatever it is, I'm ready." Said Dipper confidently.
"Stick your arm in the pain hole!" Exclaimed multi bear pointing at a seemingly harmless and bottomless hole.
Dipper looked confused before turning to Mabel who looked horrified.
"What's in the hole?" Dipper quietly asked his sister.
"...pain." Said Mabel wincing. "You can definitely do it. It's just gonna be painful."
Dipper was both relieved and worried as he approached the hole. He hesitantly dipped his arm in the hole before he started screaming a second later.

"Alright, mailbox. What's the last trial?" Said Dipper with a deep frown.
The multi bear pulled out a letter from the mailbox and began reading.
"The last trial! The trial of...courage! You are to enter a cave where the great one sealed the gremloblin and stare him in the eyes." Said the Multi bear before gulping as the minotaurs gasped.
"Gremloblin? I think I've heard that before." Muttered Dipper as he opened the journal. "Eye contact makes you SEE YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE?!"
Mabel's heart sank upon hearing that as she began remembering what the gremloblin did in the show.
"I can't do this anymore! Just take the letter!" Said the multi bear as he ran away and hid behind the minotaurs.
Seeing this, Dipper worriedly picked up the piece of paper that read "Do this or she dies."
"Dipper, listen to me. I-" said Mabel as Dipper already began heading towards the cave. "Dipper, DON'T!"
Dipper took one glance at her before entering the cave alone.
Silence descended around the area. No one uttered a word as they waited for any reaction from Dipper.
Until his terrified screams arrived.
Hearing her brother screaming, Mabel struggled with all her power to free herself but to no avail. There wasn't even a lock on the cage to lockpick, it was opened and closed by bending the bars and the only who could do that are-
An idea snapped into Mabel's mind as she quickly turned to the terrified minotaurs and multi bear.
"Are you guys really taking orders from that thing?! What happened to the minotaurs being the symbol of manliness?! What happened to the constant recklessness and flexing?! Cause all I see are a bunch of babies!"
The minotaurs gasped and Mabel turned to the Multi bear.
"What happened to the multi bear who would calmly accept his loss in a duel to the death over some stupid song by BABBA?!"
Everyone went silent as only the cries of Dipper could be heard, causing Mabel to be more and more anxious as she stared at the group she was trying to provoke.
"Please please please please." Mabel begged under her breath before her wish was answered.
The multi bear approached her cage and bent the bars for Mabel to get out.
"Go!" Said the Multi bear as the minotaur gasped.
Mabel nodded before running to the cave where Dipper was, leaving the Multi bear to convince the minotaurs of what should be done.

"Dipper! Dipper!" Mabel called for her brother as she looked for him inside the cave.
A few moments later, she heard soft crying that she immediately followed back to Dipper who was curled up in a corned near a chained up gremloblin.
"DIPPER!" Mabel said happily as she ran towards Dipper, but the happiness didn't last.
Dipper quickly tried to get away from Mabel. She tried to get close once again, but-
"why are you here? I thought you hated me."
"What?"
"I replaced your family and look at me, I'm just a loser who failed some manliness tester."
Mabel flinched and sighed before sitting down in front of Dipper.
"Dipper, my old life wasn't like what you think." Said Mabel dejectedly. "I was... terminally ill for that whole life. I was sick from the moment I was born. I spent every single moment for twelve awful years inside a hospital. Even my parents eventually...moved on."
Mabel began tearing up as she continued.
"All this talent isn't me. It just came with being Mabel. You didn't take anything away from me *Sob* you, Stan, Mom and dad were the best things to ever happen to me *sniff* and I'm horrible! I stole your sister, I stole her talent, I changed your life without you knowing. *Sob* I- i-"
As she descended into full blown crying, Mabel felt a hand on her shoulder. It was Dipper and he opened his arms as telling to come in for a hug.
Mabel immediately took the invitation and hugged Dipper to the point that it hurt the boy a little. But it was all worth it as it helped Mabel stop crying.
But before another word could be said, the cave suddenly lit up as something teleported inside.
It was the mailbox.
"We beat your stupid trials! Now leave us alone!" Said Dipper angrily.
Suddenly, the mailbox opened to reveal a message inside. Dipper warily took the letter and read it out loud.
"Congratulations, Dipper and Mabel. You passed the test and your bond is stronger than ever." The twins were confused before Dipper continued reading. "You were put through these trials to make sure you have the bond to handle what's ahead."
"Wait. You mean the minotaurs, the Multi bear and the trials were just to get us to make up?" Asked Mabel in confusion.
Another message arrived in the mailbox and Dipper quickly began reading.
"As a rusty mailbox, I couldn't be picky with the method. I used the minotaurs to set up the perfect trials that would make you closer than ever. Now, you are ready for what's ahead."
"Huh? Wait- how did the pain hole make us closer?"
The mailbox shook before shooting a rectangular item with a note and disappearing entirely from existence.
"HEY!" Yelled Dipper angrily as Mabel ready the note.
"For Soos. Bye."
Hearing Soos's name, Dipper turned to the object curiously before unwrapping it to reveal the picture of a muscular woman.
The twins shrugged in union before leaving the cave to be hailed as heroes by the minotaurs and the multi bear.
And Soos very much liked the picture.
