It's been 8 months since Obito and Sayuri started dating and much to few people's dismay they already started talking about marriage.
"I still think you are too young for it considering you are dating him for 8 months" Shuichi told Sayuri.
"Father, you had an arranged marriage with mother and only knew her for like 11 months?" Sayuri answered back.
Shuichi sighed and replied, "Except I was 27 and you are 19. Those 8 years can make a lot of difference."
"But I want to marry him now." Sayuri answered back.
"For kami's sake sweety, marriage is not buying toys. If you want toys, you can get it anytime, if you no longer like it, you can throw it away. You are committing yourself to someone. At least get to know the person well."
"I knew him since I was 13." Sayuri answered back.
"How does that matter? I am telling you to slow down. Why not wait until you are 21?" Shuichi asked back.
"I want him now." Sayuri replied.
Shika sighed as she watched her husband and daughter have an exchange of words.
"I am going for a walk" Sayuri said and left the house.
She quickly went to Obito's house and knocked on his door.
Obito opened it and saw Sayuri standing in front of the door.
"Come in" Obito said.
Sayuri went inside as Obito closed the door and she sat on the sofa.
"What happened Hime-chan?" Obito asked.
"Argument with father."
"Regarding the marriage?"
"Yes" Sayuri confirmed.
Obito sat beside her, and she put her head on his left should and wrapped her arms around his left arm.
Sayuri didn't say anything, she just silently enjoyed the moment with Obito.
Obito smiled at her and kissed on top of her head.
"I need to cook. What shall I make for you?"
"Anything is fine." Sayuri replied and removed her arms around him.
She followed him to the kitchen and back hugged him as he cut the vegetables.
"Something happened hime-chan?" Obito asked again.
"Eh, no" Sayuri replied.
Obito turned towards her and ruffled her hair and went back to cooking.
After making 2 bowls of ramen, he served one to Sayuri.
She immediately started eating it.
"It's so good, Obito-kun, you will make a great husband."
Obito smiled at her words.
When they were done, Sayuri put the bowl down in the sink while Obito went to wash the dishes.
She sat down in the sofa and waited patiently for Obito to come back.
When Obito returned he lied down and put his head on Sayuri's lap.
"I wonder how the day will go?" Obito asked.
"Yeah, we need to plan soon." Sayuri replied.
He sat up and gently put his left hand on Sayuri's left cheek and replied, "I cannot wait for the day Mrs. Obito Uchiha." Sayuri blushed at that, then smirked back and replied, "Whatever you say, Mr. Sayuri Uchiha."
Obito and Sayuri started laughing.
A drunk Kushina was making her way towards her home.
"Kushina-san" She turned around and saw Obito.
"Oh, hi Obito. I cannot believe you are getting married" Kushina replied.
"Ah yes." Obito replied.
Sayuri was walking towards the bridge, and she saw Obito talking with Kushina, she went to greet them but paused hearing their conversation.
"I still cannot believe you are marrying Sayuri." Kushina said and continued, "I mean I always thought you would marry Rin."
Sayuri felt pain in her heart hearing the words from Kushina.
"I mean Rin is like the cutest girl out there and she was so gentle. She would totally compliment you. Sayuri just walks all over you and I don't like that. Rin used to take care of you and here you have to take care of her." Kushina replied.
Sayuri remained silent waiting for Obito to reply and she heard him say "You cannot compare hime-chan to Rin-chan. I agree Rin-chan is way more nurturing than Hime-chan." Obito paused.
Sayuri heard enough and went back the opposite way, so Kushina and Obito could not see her.
"But I love hime-chan. She is the light in my heart. If I want to marry someone, it's only her be it in this lifetime or next."
Kushina looked at him surprised.
Sayuri returned home and immediately went to her room.
'So, he thinks I am the back up plan, I am just a willing girl. I should have known that. I should have known that I am nothing but a loser when it comes to love.'
Sayuri threw her kunai towards her and Obito's picture.
'Tomorrow I will finish everything off.'
Obito didn't know why Sayuri would call him in the middle of the forest to meet him, it's not like their relation was a secret. Everyone of their friends knew they were dating and talking about marriage.
Obito went towards the forest edge and saw Sayuri standing there.
"Hime-chan? What happened?" Obito asked.
"Do not hime-chan me." Sayuri stated angrily.
Obito got confused and asked again, "What happened?"
"I know everything Uchiha." Sayuri replied.
"Hime-chan, tell me what happened, please?" Obito asked.
"I heard what you said to Lord 4th wife yesterday."
"Kushina-san was drunk."
"And you agreed with her."
"Did you even hear everything?" Obito replied sarcastically.
"I heard enough. You literally agreed with her."
"She was drunk, like literally drunk."
"And you agreed with her."
"Stop being unreasonable." Obito said, "Honestly, I agree you just walk all over me without even trying to understand me."
Sayuri's didn't feel jealously, instead she felt anger.
"Then why don't you do one thing, resurrect her from the dead and marry her." Sayuri replied and turned her back.
"Hime-chan, listen to me, I told her I love you and not Rin-chan."
"Rin-chan, Rin-chan, Rin-chan. You literally agreed with Kushina-san."
"Is she not partially, correct? Just because I love you and want to be your husband, doesn't mean you don't have any flaws. While you are logical when it comes to battles, you are reacting purely based on emotions."
"Of course," Sayuri replied with a smirk and continued, "I am done with you. Now and forever."
Sayuri started running away. Obito caught up to her easily and grabbed her hand, "Wait Hime-chan, at least listen to me once."
But Obito couldn't finish his sentence. Sayuri turned around and slapped Obito straight on his face.
"How dare a lowly Uchiha like you hold my hand or call me Hime-chan. It's hime-sama to you." Sayuri said coldly.
Obito let go off her hand and asked, "Do you not love me?"
"Loving you was my biggest mistake. I will be correcting it now."
With that Sayuri left the forest and Obito's knees gave away. He looked up in the sky and saw a bird fly alone.
Sayuri returned home and went to her father, "It's time."
Shuichi looked at her upset face, "Are you sure? Do you want to calm down first?"
"No, I have decided that it is time for me to get grandfather's eyes that you have reserved for so long."
Shuichi looked at her, "Very well, come with me."
Shuichi and Sayuri went inside the basement of the house while Shika waited out on the outside.
10 mins later Shuichi and Sayuri came out with slight blood flowing from her eyes. She opened her eyes and looked at her mother.
Shika looked at her new eyes and confirmed, "You have awakened the eternal mangekyo sharingan"
