Obito hit snooze on his alarm clock.
'I cannot believe I woke up late' Obito thought and yawned. He wore his slippers and came down.
"Morning, sleepy head." Sayuri said.
"You woke up early." Obito stated and yawned.
"Apparently your alarm clock can wake up anyone other than you." Sayuri said and continued having her tea.
"How long are you awake?"
"1 hr."
"Hey, you should have awakened me up."
"What for? It's Sunday. It's our day off."
"But you woke up early, right?" Obito asked.
"Eh, don't bother much about it." Sayuri said and got up, "I am making breakfast. Go and brush your teeth."
"How did you know I did not brush my teeth yet?"
"Obito, love of my life, I am your wife. Also, I can see your stubble." Sayuri stated.
"Right" Obito gave a sheepish smile and went to his room to brush his teeth and shave.
He was no longer 19-year-old boy but a 24-year-old man.
He brushed his teeth and shaved his face and came downstairs to see Sayuri putting food on the table.
Sayuri herself was now 24 years old and they married almost 8 months back.
After they patched up again due to Madara, they decided to take things slowly.
Knowing, he was going to marry the literal princess of the Uchiha clan, Obito decided to do small stuff to make Sayuri's life more comfortable.
Obito sold his old home and Sayuri and Obito bought a new home together.
It was a large 2 story house. The downstairs had living room, kitchen and dining area, while the upstairs had 3 bedrooms, each bedroom with their attached washroom and balcony.
They also had a well-maintained garden, where they would dry their clothes at a corner, but mainly the garden had flowers that Obito liked to see.
Obito's grandmother loved flowers, and he heard that his mother loved flowers as well so when he asked Sayuri if their dream home could have a garden to honour his grandmother and mother, she immediately agreed.
Obito knew Sayuri grew up with 4 maids, with one maid living within the house at the maid chambers, so Sayuri and Obito decided that they will hire only one maid to clean and sweep the floors and do the dishes.
As for cooking they would take takeouts or cook. Obito knew Sayuri hated cooking, but still she used to help around in her ways, like cut the vegetables and meat, so that Obito could cook directly or maybe prepare the meat meal, while Obito cooked rice.
Fortunately, they had a washing machine, and Sayuri used that to clean the laundry and would dry the newly cleaned clothes outside.
Obito would take care of the garden since Sayuri was bad at gardening.
Obito came down to the dining area and sat down and Sayuri served him fruits, with scrambled eggs and toast.
She placed toast and fruits in front of her.
"No egg?" Obito asked.
"I am eating the leftover boiled egg from yesterday." Sayuri said and went to the fridge to bring it out.
"You know always having leftovers is not good for you."
"I just like boiled eggs over scrambled Obi-kun."
Obito started laughing.
"What happened?"
"It's cute that you still call me Obi-kun, darling."
"Hey, just because I married you that does not mean I am going to stop calling you Obi-kun."
"Whatever you say darling." Obito replied.
"You know you love it."
"I actually do hime-chan." Obito said honestly.
"And you still call me hime-chan."
Obito joked, "You and I both know that only I call you hime-chan in this entire planet."
"That's true." Sayuri confirmed.
"Who knew back then I would marry you." Obito said while looking at his food.
"I was the loser Uchiha then and now I am like strong and married to a princess." Obito joked.
Sayuri got up and hugged Obito from the side.
"I never saw you as a loser."
"What did you think of me?" Obito asked.
"Honestly speaking, nothing actually. I knew you were not that strong, but I really didn't care. I was more into talking with Anko and Kurenai and studies. Beside I started liking you when we were 13."
"You know, nobody noticed that I used to help people."
"And the thank you that you would receive was the validation you were looking for." Sayuri said.
Obito smiled, "Yes."
Obito got up and because of their huge height difference of 30 cm he was towering over her.
He put his hand on her right cheek and went, "I love you."
Sayuri put her hand over his and replied, "I love you too."
They continued having their breakfast after that.
After finishing breakfast, Obito went to the hokage's tower to meet with Minato.
"You called, sensei?" Obito asked as he entered the Hokage office.
"Yes, please enter" Minato said and took out a file.
"I am going to be assigning you a genin tomorrow. These are the details for the students." Minato said and handed the file to Obito.
Obito looked at the file and got surprised, "I can see Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno and Naruto?"
"Yes"
"Wait, Naruto really?" Obito asked again.
"Yes. I think you will be a great sensei for him." Minato confirmed.
Obito replied with a goofy grin.
Obito returned home and informed Sayuri about the new development.
"You are going to be a jonin sensei?" Sayuri asked excited.
"Yes" Obito said and Sayuri hugged him.
"I am so happy, soon you will be a hokage."
Obito blushed and hugged her back by lifting her up.
"I want to eat ice cream." Sayuri said and gently pulled Obito's hand.
"Sure darling, whatever you want." Obito replied.
Sayuri smiled and went up to her room and changed into a short red dress with a deep v neckline, and came down.
"What are you wearing?" Obito asked, looking at Sayuri wearing the sexy red dress.
"A dress." Sayuri replied casually and Obito couldn't help but notice her figure.
"Seriously, it barely leaves anything to the imagination." Obito said.
Sayuri stuck out her tongue and left the house.
Obito sighed knowing it's going to be a long day.
