Moments Chapter 6
Rugosa was a moon near the planet Toydaria. It's late afternoon on the moon, and although it's warm for Fall, the moon is about to go behind its Planet. That would herald the arrival of Winter. The star provides the planet's light. Hunter could hear the planetary winds, his enhanced senses also detecting the creaking of the corals. He could smell and taste the salt from an ancient, now gone, ocean. The terrain he walked on was rough. Everyone could see the moon's beauty, but only Hunter could now sense that they weren't alone.
"Now remember, every major Bounty Hunter will be after us for Omega. So watch your surroundings," Crosshair sneered as they arrived on Rugosa, where a C-9979 Landing Craft had crashed, full of information crucial to the Empire and Rebellion. The crew nodded, and as they departed, Hunter listened carefully for any signs of Bounty Hunter activity.
Meanwhile, the Bounty Hunters also start swarming Rugosa.
"Remember two things about Omega. Number 1, she's an in-training Clone Commando. And Number 2, Boba's twin sister," Shahan stated.
Rako Hardeen responded, "Great. of all the targets they had to pick, it had to be the Commando Boba Fett. She's going to be a nightmare to keep under control,"
"I've got ways to keep her under control. The threat of death at any moment should do the trick," Fong Do stated. Rako and Shahan gave him a look.
"What?" Fong Do ask.
Rako stated, "Is that why half of your captives come up dead?"
"Maybe," Fong Do replied. Shahan then stated, "Remember, although we're on truce now, that breaks as soon as one of us has Omega,"
"Right," Rako replied, and soon, the three landed, though well apart from each other, and in areas for their unique strengths.
Meanwhile, as the Bad Batch headed towards the crashed ship, they felt the warm sun on their armour and noticed the coral cast long shadows across the landscape. The smell and taste of the coral add to the scents already present.
Tech stated: "This moon used to be an ocean world, but the water vanished, leaving behind the coral,"
"Would explain the coral all over the place," Echo replied.
Wrecker asked, "Do you think I could knock the coral over?" Tech stated, "Not unless you want to block our path."
"Oh. You do make a good point." Wrecker replied as they continued to make their way towards the ship.
Soon, they encounter their first Bounty Hunter as they move between the coral. Suddenly, a human with thin, grey hair, blue eyes, and tattoos over his face arrived nearby. Noting him, Crosshair stated, "Get down and be careful. It's Rako Hardeen, a bounty hunter and long-range specialist," the Batch ducked to avoid a stunning shot from his sniper rifle. He starts firing back and manages to drive Rako off.
"At least one Bounty Hunter is already here," Crosshair sneered.
Echo stated, "Where there's one, for someone as valuable as Omega, they'll all be here. I also expect the Imperials will be after us too,"
"I can hear another somewhere nearby," Omega suddenly stated, her voice trembling with fear as she activated her bow.
Another Bounty Hunter took a shot, and Omega immediately fired back, forcing the figure to retreat. Omega then remembered something Crosshair had said to her and switched for her Blasters.
"Good move," Hunter and Crosshair stated, then briefly looked at each other, a knowing look in their eyes.
Suddenly, a Phindian triggered a rockfall almost totally above them.
"Move," Hunter called, and he, Crosshair, and Omega went one way while Wrecker, Tech and Echo went the other.
As soon as he was clear, Crosshair, recognising Moralo Eval, started firing on him, forcing the latter to retreat.
"Tech, Wrecker, Echo, come in," Hunter called.
Tech stated, "We're fine. We avoided the rockfall. How about you?"
"We're alright. Get back to the ship. We'll go on to collect the information," Hunter called.
Tech stated, "Understood," they returned to the ship while Hunter, Crosshair and Omega moved slowly towards their destination, listening and watching closely for Bounty Hunter activity.
Derrown was sneaking around and watching Omega, Crosshair and Hunter. He scouted ahead to find a way to split the three off. And after a bit, he finds his chance. He sneaks into the ship the trio heads for, activates the few Battle Droids left behind, and sends them after Hunter, Crosshair and Omega.
Back to the trio
Crosshair was the first to see the activated Battle Droids, while Hunter, and shortly afterwards Omega, sensed the activation of the Droids.
"Take cover," Crosshair sneered as he opened fire on the droids. Hunter and Omega found nearby cover and helped bring down the Battle Droids.
Soon, the trio reached the ship, and Hunter got the information needed.
Suddenly, a flashbang temporarily blinds everyone. Omega was the first to recover sight, but in the time it took all three of them to regain sight, a Parwa, Derrown, had grabbed Omega and was holding his electric tentacles to the small gaps in Omega's armour.
"I don't know how well your armour will protect against my electrical abilities," he sneered at Omega as Hunter and Crosshair stood there, frozen. Derrown turned to Omega and stated, "Let's go,"
However, Rako Hardeen was lining up Derrown. A shot rang out, and Derrown had to move to avoid a headshot. Instead, hit his jetpack, and Twazzi, a female Frenk, dropped a piece of coral on him and Omega.
Hunter tried to pull Omega from underneath the coral but had to hide behind another piece as Rako took another shot at him. Crosshair fired back, and Rako had to dodge. After a few exchanges of fire, Crosshair and Rako shoot their respective sniper rifles out of their hands.
Bounty Hunter fighting then completely breaks out. Fong Do engage Crosshair, while Derrown fought Hunter. The fighting allowed Rako Hardeen to sweep in, pull an unconscious Omega out of the coral, and race off on his speeder with her.
Fong Do, Crosshair, Hunter and Derrown take off after him, though Hunter knocks out Derrown. Using a mix of his prototype stealth suit and a foldable hoverboard, Fong Do gets well ahead of Hunter and Crosshair.
Just as Rako prepares to carry Omega onto the ship, she comes to and lunges at him. Surprised, Rako couldn't stop her from striking him in the Liver and Throat, knocking him down and allowing Omega to take his speeder bike and try to get back to her brothers.
However, Speeder Bikes aren't something Omega was used to, and she struggled to remain in control. Suddenly, a stun disables the Bike. Looking over it, she sees Fong Do approaching her. She dived off the bike and used it as cover to avoid being struck by him as she returned fire. It works until Fong Do closes the distance and stuns her.
"IG-RM 5, I've got Omega. Bring the ship to these coordinates," Fong Do radios to his droid, who pilots the ship to their location. By the time it arrives, Crosshair is within range of his sniper rifle. He shot at Fong Do, but his droid took the hit. Once Fong is onboard, Crosshair changes tactics and shoots a homing beacon onto the hull. However, Fennec Shand shot a homing beacon onto the ship's hull.
"Damn it! Not again! Thanks for the homing beacon, Crosshair. At least this time, we know exactly where he's going," Hunter stated, full of fear and anger that they'd lost Omega again. Crosshair sighed, "I wish I could have done more. But that bastard Do's got some strange items in his arsenal,"
"Get on," came a voice from behind. Turning around, Crosshair and Hunter saw the rest of Clone Force 99 on the Havoc Marauder. Getting on board, Crosshair stated, with notes of worry and guilt in his voice, "Three Bounty Hunters had Omega at different stages of this. Fong has her now, but I've got a homing beacon on the hull of his ship,"
"Good. We can tune to it and know exactly where to go," Tech stated, and while Echo piloted them out of the atmosphere and into hyperspace, Tech tuned to the signal.
"We have a signal. And it looks like there are as many as three tracking beacons on the hull" Tech stated.
Crosshair sneered, "Other Bounty Hunters, probably,"
"So when he arrives at his destination, we get Omega back. Right?" Hunter stated.
Wrecker replied, "And tear her captor limb from limb,"
"It's not going to be that easy," Crosshair sneered, and when Tech asked, "Why is that?" Crosshair explained, "Because at least a dozen Bounty Hunters after her, including her twin brother's syndicate, Fennec Shand, and Cad Bane. We're going to need the plan to try and handle them if they come after us,"
"Knowledge is power, as Fennec Shand said," Hunter admitted.
"Then it's time to learn as much as we can. Who have we encountered today?" Tech agreed, then asked Crosshair, "Who are the Bounty Hunters you know of that we've encountered?"
"Fong Do, Derrown, Twazzi, and Rako Hardeen. Get as much information as you can on all four of them", Crosshair sneered. Tech turned back to his datapad and started researching.
With Krayt's Claw and Fennec Shand
"I've got the tracker on Fong Do's ship," Fennec called into her communicator.
Bossk responded, "Good. Thissssss way, we'll know where he'ssssss headed. We'll come to pick you up."
"Affirmative. Fennec out." Fennec stated, then cut the communication.
Meanwhile, on the ship, Boba stated: "So Fong's got, my vod. She'll ruin his Stealth skills, but we're going to have to approach with caution since he'll likely kill her if we intervene too directly,"
"I think my grappling boa would be useful in this situation," Latts stated, smiling nefariously.
Bossk stated, "That would be handy if you can get close enough to either strike him or grab Omega,"
"I don't think grabbing would be wise with ssssssnakessssss," Bossk stated before he added, "If I know Fong Do, he'll have Omega unarmoured and unarmed to make her as vulnerable as possssssible,"
"That complicates things. If Omega's wearing armour, go for it. But if she isn't, then the risk of harming her skyrockets," Boba admitted as they soon landed on Rusoga and picked up Fennec Shand.
"So, got the homing beacon's signal?" Fennec asked C-21.
"Working on it. There are three different trackers on that ship, so getting our one isn't as easy as it could be," C-21 stated.
"I believe he's going to Kal Kentus, so we'll head there and wait for him," Boba said.
Bossk enquired, "The Bounty Hunter battle royale?"
"Of coursssssse," Bossk sneered as he returned to his seat.
"What about your sister is so valuable over, say you? She's a near-identical Clone of your father, right? That's why you have the affinity for her that you don't have for the other Clones?" Latts enquired.
Boba nodded, but Fennec explained, "She's got slight mutations from each of her brothers. Some say she's Force Sensitive, though her Abilities are mistaken for such. Nala Se is working for them. I don't know exactly, but I'm guessing to use her for a new generation of Clone Supersoldiers. Think all of Clone Force 99 in one Soldier, then multiply that ten thousandfold,"
"That. Also possibly related to whatever the Emperor is planning outside of that," Boba stated before continuing, "But with Fong Do, Moralo Eval and Cad Bane involved, there's every chance she doesn't survive this. I don't think the Empire would be happy if their new template arrived dead,"
"Then we'd better get her into our custody and away from them," Latts stated.
"Got the tracker. Hyperspace vector consistent with Kal Kentus," C21 stated.
Bossk nodded, "We have our desssssstination,"
"Then let's go," Boba stated, flying Slave 1 towards Kal Kentus in a more direct route.
With Omega
Once the effects of being stunned wore off, Omega awoke inside a prison cell with a ray-shielded door. The cell is freezing cold and humid inside Fong Do's ship, unpleasant with just her black underclothes. The only light source is the ray shield, while Omega can hear Fong Do moving something around. She can smell and taste the metal of the ship, the Nautolian himself, and the salty taste and scent of blood. That must be from the coral falling on her on Rugosa. The floor was solid and cold. Everyone noticed the ship was forged to Fong's specifications, but Omega also noticed the marks left by the droid that Fong Do was now dragging into a chamber.
"Looks like I'll have to use my backup Droid until I return to home base. Crosshair did a good job on you" she heard a voice snarl from nearby and saw Fong Do carefully manoeuvring an IG Droid into the holding bay. He noticed Omega and sneered, "It's about time you awoke. We'll be on Kal Kentus in three hours. I recommend you rest until then. Sadly, it's a fair trek to get to the destination."
Destination? What the hell does he mean? Omega asked, "What do you mean by destination? Where are you taking me?"
"Kal Kentus, a planet in the Unknown regions. The Bounty Hunter Battle Royale is on, and the reward for getting you to the presidential palace is immense. I could retire on the reward they're offering," Fong stated a little maniacally. Omega groaned and just sat there with her arms crossed. Great. So, she was just a pawn in some rich bugger's games.
"You could at least get me my armour," Omega stated.
Fong stated, "No can do. The other Bounty Hunters won't dare touch me if you're unarmoured, knowing one shot could kill you."
Omega's blood went cold. This guy didn't care if she lived or died. And other Bounty Hunters were after her too. That may include Cad Bane, who had already tried to kill her. A very slight flicker of hope did appear in her mind. If her brother, Boba, was involved, he could rescue her. It wouldn't be ideal, she'd rather be with her brothers, but at least with Boba, she'd be with someone who cared for her.
Fong Do then exited the holding bay for the front of his ship, leaving Omega alone.
"I'd better get rid of those tracking beacons once I arrive. I know Crosshair put one on, but I can't figure out who else may have," Fong stated to himself. Once he checked the locations, he sat back and waited until the ship arrived.
An hour later, Fong Do returns long enough to activate a second IG Droid. After a few instructions, the Droid sat outside Omega's cell while Fong returned to the cockpit.
Omega tried to communicate with the droid to pull on this one what she'd pulled on Todo, but it was like talking to a brick wall. Omega finally sighed and just sat back, hoping that someone, especially her brothers, had a plan to rescue her.
Meanwhile Cad Bane
Cad Bane was at his ship, lounging. It's temperate on his craft, the only light coming from a small light in the ceiling. He can hear the hum of the engines and Todo working away. He can smell and taste the ship's metal, his hat, and the toothpick he had in his mouth. The seat he was on was acceptable. Most people knew the craft was Bane's, but only he knew it was initially his father's.
"Todo, what's your status?" came the voice of a blue Duros. Todo entered the ship and stated, "The tracking beacon was attached to the hull of Fong's ship,"
"Good. Send a message to Moralo Eval. I'm going to get my revenge on Fennec and Boba for humiliating me and damaging my reputation by killing that twerp,"
"Whoa! Isn't that a bit extreme?" Todo asked, shocked, which Cad sneered, "I'm getting more of a bounty from killing her than taking her to the Kentus oligarchs. Plus, I have a personal vendetta to carry."
"OK," Todo stated as he got the communicator going. Soon, the face of Moralo appeared.
"What brings you to my channel Bane?" Moralo growled.
Bane stated: "I have a business idea to share with you,"
"Me and you in a business venture. This should be good," Moralo sneered.
Bane replied: "I have a vendetta against Fennec Shand and Boba Fett. They've both humiliated me in the last couple of years,"
"And what does that have to do with me?" Moralo snapped.
Cad stated: "The girl. Omega. How about we ally to kill her and deny the other bounty hunters their oligarchic reward?"
Moralo got an evil grin on his face, then stated: "How will I be paid?" and at this, Cad Bane sent the message through.
Reading it, Moralo replied, "Sure. We can team up on this. I'm closer to Kal Kentus than you are, so I'll be in the best position to take her out,"
"Just so long as you don't kill her before I get there," Cad sneered. Moralo nodded and replied, "I'll keep her alive until then. I'm guessing you want to do the honours of killing her?"
"Of course," Cad Bane stated. The communication was then cut.
"Moralo is not to be trusted. You know he'll kill her the first chance he gets." Todo stated,
Cad Bane replied: "I know. This is why I'm taking the most direct route I can. I don't know where he is, but we have a fair distance to travel. Todo, chart course for Kal Kentus."
"Alright," Todo replied, and he set the hyperdrive for the Unknown Regions planet.
Back to Clone Force 99
The mood in the Havoc Marauder was tense, especially without Omega. Hunter could tell the ship was warmer because of it. The lights on the craft reflected the mood, while the hum of the engines didn't do anything to reduce the tension. Hunter could smell and taste the tension that overrode even the ship's metal or Wrecker. The seat Hunter's on is reasonably comfortable. Everyone can see the craft is altered, but the tiny smiley face, Omega once drew could only be seen by Hunter.
"Hyperspace vector headed most likely to Kal Kentus," Tech suddenly stated.
Hunter replied, "Where is Kal Kentus? Why have we never heard of the planet?"
"It's in the Unknown Regions, that would be why," Tech stated simply. Echo sighed, "Where in the Unknown regions?"
"Northern sector. I'm getting the sense many of the Bounty Hunters are headed for this world," Tech stated again. Hunter and Wrecker looked at each other, and then Crosshair added, "The Bounty Hunter battle royale is taking place on Kal Kentus. It's a planet in orbit around the star Kal Stellaris. It's one of four planets and is the only habitable one,"
"Then that's where we'll be going to get Omega back," Echo said.
Tech nodded and replied, "Hyperspace course to Kal Kentus charted, let's go," the Havoc Marauder clangs as it briefly exits hyperspace before jumping back in on the new vector.
"That didn't sound good," Hunter stated.
Tech replied, "I'll investigate it when we land."
"Good," Hunter replied before he returned to pacing the ship.
Back to Krayt's Claw
The first two ships to arrive in the Kal Kentus system were the ships of Rako Hardeen and Krayt's Claw.
"Scan for Fong's ship," Boba stated.
C21 nodded and started a scan of Kal Kentus. After a moment, C21 replied: "No ships matching the description have been identified."
"Good. We got here first. Bossk, get us to the surface. We've got an interception mission to conduct." Boba stated, and Bossk nodded, replied, "Yesssss bossssss," and steered Slave 1 into a landing. They land on the hills near the capital city, which contains the presidential palace, the goal location for any Bounty Hunter with Omega.
Fennec immediately noticed the spaceport was crowded and hot, which fit with Summer on Kal Kentus. There are a lot of lights around, keeping the area bright. The sounds of arriving and departing ships, and the talking people, were rough on Fennec's ears, though she could shut it out. She could smell and taste the residue from the ships, the food and drink being consumed, and the steel of the spaceport. The ground was solid and unforgiving. Everyone would notice the light in the ceiling, but Fennec made out that there were symbols around the light. Though what they meant, she didn't know.
As the rest of Krayt's Claw departed, Boba called, "C21, inform us when Fong Do arrives, along with any other Bounty Hunters," Boba stated.
C21 stated, "Affirmative," and started keeping an electronic watch.
Krayt's Claw split up into groups, with Fennec and Latts going for the spaceport to try and intercept Fong there, while Boba and Bossk head further into the city, just in case Fong gets past.
A few minutes later, the ships containing Fong Do and Omega arrive with Moralo Eval in their craft. Sensing this, C21 messages everyone in Krayt's Claw about their arrival.
"Here we go," Fennec stated to Latts, who nodded, and they waited with bated breath as Fong Do brought his ship into landing.
With Fong Do and Omega
"So Krayt's Claw has a couple of scouts nearby. Interesting." Fong Do state as he brought his ship into a landing. He sent a message to his droid, who deactivated the ray shield, only to grab Omega, none too gently, and drag her from the cell out of the ship. Suiting up, Fong none too gently grabbed Omega's arm.
"It's annoying that we can't fly straight to the palace. This city is the perfect place for an ambush." Fong sighed as he exited. He stopped as he called, "IG-RM 1, you let go of Omega and scout ahead. Try to find a way to get around Fennec and Latts",
His droid nodded and started carefully scanning.
Omega tried to fight, but Fong threw her to the ground, picked her up by the scruff of her back, and stated: "And you're going to be my meat shield. No other Bounty Hunter will dare attack me if they don't want to risk their prize."
Getting thrown to the ground hurt like hell, though at least Omega broke her fall. This Bounty Hunter was as rough, if not rougher, than Cad Bane, and she did not doubt that Fong Do would kill her if he got the chance. She needed to figure out a way to break free of his grasp. Omega carefully looked her captor over and started thinking of a plan.
Soon, IG-RM 1 returned.
"Your best shot is behind your ship. I should warn you that there's a good chance you'll have to face at least one of them," IG-RM 1 stated. Fong sneered: "That's your purpose then. Make sure they can't get Omega" before he dragged Omega in the direction that IG-RM 1 had indicated, determined to get out of the spaceport.
With Moralo
Just a few minutes behind Fong are Clone Force 99 and Moralo Eval. While Clone Force 99 goes through the official channels and lands. Moralo parks his ship nearby before exiting with murder on his mind. Pressing a few buttons on his communicator, he summons a few probe droids to scout the area, specifically to look for Omega.
After a few minutes, a Probe Droid reports a sighting outside the spaceport.
"Good." Moralo sneered as he made his way to the destination.
With Clone Force 99
"Alright. The mission is simple, see if anyone's seen Omega and where she was taken. If we're quick, we may be able to catch up with Fong Do and get Omega back." Hunter stated. They disembark and start to go around questioning people about Omega's location. After a few, Echo gets a score. One of the citizens points to the back way, stating where they'd seen her being taken about fifteen minutes ago. Meeting back up, Echo points the rest of the squad in the direction shown to him.
"Be careful. We don't know what we're going to face," Crosshair sneered as the squad followed.
Back to Fennec Shand and Latts
Latts is the one who catches up with Fong Do and Omega. Firing her grappling boa like a whip, she scores a hit on Fong Do.
"Gah! You!" Fong snapped, pulling out a blaster and firing on her. Avoiding the blasts, Latts briefly must retreat.
"Move," Fong stated to Omega and pushed her on.
They briefly clash again near the lift, and Fong and Latts clash in hand-to-hand combat. Latts starts overcoming Fong, but Fong counters by grabbing Omega and throwing her into Latts, forcing her to stop fighting so as not to risk Omega. Fong then tried to blast both of them, but Latts pulled Omega out of the way just in time.
IG-RM 1 shoots a stun at Latts and manages to stun her. Fong goes over, pulls Latts off Omega, and drags her to the nearby lift, rattled as to how Latts knew where they were and not knowing where Fennec Shand was. Looking at Omega, he decides to bind her arms, legs and around her neck to make her dependent on him.
Due to PTSD from previous bindings, Omega fights hard and not only gets hits on Fong but starts to overwhelm him. Fong realised he underestimated Omega, then slammed her against the wall and kneed her between her legs. Omega's hypersensitivity down there caused so much pain that she briefly blacked out. Once Omega hits the ground, Fong starts kicking and punching her, though the bashing is quick, as he needs to keep her conscious.
Once Omega regained consciousness, Fong Do pulled her up and growled, "Try that again, and you'll die,"
Omega flinched though the determined look stayed in her eyes. She would rather be dead than bound to this guy for much longer. Omega was bleeding from a cut on her face, a black eye, and cuts and bruises everywhere, and she struggled to stand for the number of hits she took.
When they reach the bottom floor, Fong drags Omega out, IG-RM 1 close behind. Fong is moving at a heightened pace to avoid Fennec Shand.
The planet's surface was mostly dirt and colder, though still hot. The whole area was lit by the blazing sun. The main sounds came from the crowds of people at a nearby market. Omega could smell and taste the produce on sale, distracting her from the rough surface and her injuries from Fong Do bashing her. Everyone could see the lane was big enough for two lanes, though Omega noticed the tabs on the ground that she could feel were emitting an invisible force field.
"A market. Good. I was maybe able to lose any would-be pursuers in this," Fong stated as he entered the clouds of people crowding around many stalls selling all the products and items and dragged Omega with him.
Suddenly, two shots ring out. Fong Do's blaster was shot out of his hand, and the other came so close to Omega's back that she felt the heat through her clothing.
Suddenly, Omega noticed that the restraints binding her to Fong and constantly hurting her were no longer hurting her and being connected.
"I'm able to move properly," Omega thought to herself as Fong started firing on the origin point of the blaster. Omega ran for it, determined to lose Fong in the crowds. But not before taking a couple of pot shots at Fong, which he narrowly avoided. He fired back, hitting two innocent civilians, the second shot missing Omega by inches. Omega struggles to move, however.
Suddenly Fong is grabbed by the boa shot by Latts and pulled to the ground.
"Gah! Where did you come from?" Fong swore.
Latts stated, "Fennec Shand reversed the stun, and I used a speeder to catch up with you" before she stunned Fong.
"Now, let's find Omega. Before the other Bounty Hunters do,"
Boba arrived and called, "Did you see where she went?"
Latts pointed in the direction that Omega had run off to. They saw two shots fired out. A stun from Rako Hardeen and a blaster shot from Moralo Evan.
"Take out Moralo Evan," Boba called, and Fennec got out her sniper rifle and fired at him. Moralo narrowly dodged and ran for it as Fennec shot more at him. Meanwhile, Boba and Latts ran into the crowds to find Omega.
"Bossk, go back to Fong's ship and find Arla's armour and weapons," Boba commanded,
Bossk stated, "Yessssss Bosssssss," and headed back towards the spaceport.
With IG-RM 1
IG-RM1 is patrolling around Fong's ship, maintaining a close watch for anyone trying to get into his boss' craft.
Bossk, meanwhile, is crouched nearby, keeping watch on the droid. The crowds had dispersed, but there were still people around.
"Oh well. If a few get injured as I take down that droid, oh well," Bossk stated to himself before he got out two blasters, jumped out and shot at the droid.
He got a shot on IG-RM 1, but it failed to disable him, and he fired back. Bossk only narrowly avoided the blaster rounds by retreating behind the wall.
"Bossk. You will not get past me," IG-RM 1 declared. Bossk hissed, "You can go to hell," before sneaking around the other way and knocking down the droid with two more well-placed shots.
"Now that's taken care of, I'd better get in and get her equipment," Bossk stated as he raced past the downed droid and entered Fong's ship.
With Fong Do
His droid being destroyed was quickly radioed to Fong Do once he woke up from his stun.
"What? Someone's breached my ship. Well, whoever it is, they won't get far," Fong snarled as he got up and ran back towards the spaceport.
With Bossk
Once the droid was defeated, Bossk entered Fong's cold and humid ship to search for Omega's weapon and armour.
"It'ssssss got to be around here ssssssomewhere." Bossk thought as he searched. After a bit, he finds Omega's weapon. A Zygerrian Energy Bow and two blasters. Nearby was her armour.
"Lookssssss like ssssshe's got referencessssss to all of her brotherssssss in her armour," Bossk stated as he grabbed a big, boxy bag and carefully placed her armour and weapons in the bag.
"Boba, I've got her armour," Bossk called.
Boba replied: "Good. We've just managed to evacuate Arla to my ship. She's pretty messed up, so we'll come to pick you up, then find a spot to hide until she's recovered enough to fight on her own,"
"Alright," Bossk replied, and the communication was cut. Exiting Fong's ship, Bossk headed for the agreed meet-up point.
With Boba Fett
Boba briefly spotted the teenage girl with long, blonde hair that signalled where his vod was, limping along as she tried to run. Racing in pursuit, Latts was close behind. Fennec was providing covering fire as they gave chase.
Boba saw Rako Hardeen join the chase. Rako was much faster than he was and would close the gap quickly.
"Fennec, stun Rako," Latts called.
Fennec replied, "On it," she shot a stun bolt at Rako, which he narrowly avoided by running down a side alley.
Suddenly, Boba sees Omega stop running as blaster rounds fly in all directions. Stopping, Boba looks around for the source of the shots.
Once again, Moralo was trying to kill Omega. This time he was on the ground, having been knocked down by a scared civilian.
"Oh no, you don't," Boba snarled, and he and Latts both took shots at Moralo. Moralo managed to avoid both and fired back, one shot missing Boba by inches.
Boba spots Omega cowering in a nearby sweatshop, trying to make herself as small as possible while firing on Moralo.
Suddenly, Boba gets a message from C-21.
"What is it?" Boba asked.
C-21 replied, "We've got big trouble coming,"
"What do you mean?" Boba enquired.
C-21 stated, "Big, Blue and Duros," and Boba's blood went cold.
Cad Bane was here. That meant they had to get Omega out of here, especially as far away from Cad Bane as possible.
"How far away?" Boba asked urgently.
C-21 stated, "He's just arrived at the spaceport,"
"Then we don't have much time. C-21, prepare to take off and pick us up," Boba stated.
C-21 replied, "Yes, boss," and the communication was cut.
"We've got a big problem that's just arrived, and it's called Cad Bane," Boba started to Latts, who replied, "Then we'd better stop everyone pinning us down asap,"
"Agreed," Fennec replied. She started taking shots at the windows from where she could see where the blasts were coming from. Shahan and Rako are forced to pull back.
"Omega, get over here," Boba called.
After a quick scan of the area, Omega leapt out of her hiding spot and ran for Boba. She didn't get more than halfway across the yard when suddenly everyone gets blown off their feet by the force of a bomb unleashed by Moralo. Omega is blown into a nearby fruit stall and crashes through the wooden structure, knocking her out. Latts kept her footing by throwing her Boas to nearby poles and pulling herself against them. Boba and Fennec recovered their footing quickly and started firing on Moralo as he ran for Omega.
Suddenly, Crosshair nails Moralo from a high-rise building half a kilometre away. At the same time, C-21, piloting Slave 1, landed near Omega.
"Let's move, '' Boba stated, and he, Latts, Embo and Fennec ran for the ship. Fennec and Embo stop long enough to help get an unconscious Omega onto Slave 1 before it takes off to collect Bossk.
Bossk and Fong Do briefly meet up just outside the spaceport.
"What's that?" Fong sneered, pointing to the large bag Bossk had.
Bossk replied, "The bossssssss needed sssssssome sssssssuppliesssssss for the continuation of the missssssssion, ssssssso I went back and got sssssssome,"
Fong eyed him, sensing the story was just a cover. At that moment, Fong retreated into the spaceport as C21 started firing on him from Slave 1. Bossk took the opportunity to leap on board with the armour and weapon.
"Boba has caught up with Omega. We're going to pick them up," Embo explained.
Bossk stated, "Good. Hopefully, sssssshe isssssssn't too beat up,"
"Well, Fennec's setting up a medical bay, so she must be pretty banged up," Embo stated.
Bossk nodded and climbed aboard.
Meanwhile, Cad Bane and Todo watch on from nearby, just out of range of being able to do anything to the ship. Quickly he ran back to his craft and set off in pursuit.
However, C-21 manoeuvred Slave 1 until Cad Bane could no longer track the ship.
"Good. That should give us more time to patch Omega up and figure out what we do," C-21 stated.
Fennec replied, "I'll take care of her treatment, alright?"
"Alright," Embo replied as they deposited Omega onto the bunk. Embo departs while Fennec gets to work checking for and treating Omega's many cuts, scrapes and bruises.

"Boba's got Omega, Moralo's dead, and Cad Bane has just arrived," Crosshair summarised to the rest of the squad. Hunter nodded, then stated, "What direction was Slave 1 travelling in, do you know?"
"Due West," Crosshair replied. Tech then stated, "The forests of this part of Kal Kentus would provide excellent cover, even for a ship of that size,"
"Can your scanners detect them, even if we can't see them?" Echo asked.
Tech stated, "Of course,"
"Good. Then let's get going," Hunter stated, and the team returned to the spaceport. Then got back aboard their ship and headed out.
Fong Do, Rako Hardeen, Shahan and Twazzi were also trying to find Slave 1. But it wouldn't be easy. For now, Krayt's Claw was safe with Omega.
