Soon enough, the group of Autobots, including the two new recruits, arrived at the earth bound Autobot base. Under the strict supervision of Optimus, Scourge presented the jungle planet key to the Omega lock, and soon, lock and key bounded, like the Speed planet key before had done so.
Upon locking the key, a scrambled coded message shot out from the Omega Lock. Seeing just how jumbled it was, Scattershot and Vector Prime indicated that it would take a few days at least for them to figure this mess out. Optimus nodded and dismissed pair, and they soon leave.
"Where shall we stay?" Scourge demanded to know, as he wasn't about to be a perfect subordinate Autobot. If he could have, Snarl would have rolled his optics.
"I will show you" Optimus replied firmly. He could see how Scourge was, but Optimus wasn't about to be disrespected in his own base. And seeing that their place would be on the route to Lancex's room, Optimus led the animal bots while carrying his out of it older brother. Scourge tried not to be jealous, as the pair were brothers not lovers.
Soon, Optimus indicated where the two animal bots would stay and Snarl quickly entered as he was tired. He soon found a good place to rest and fell into recharge. Scourge entered these quarters but didn't stay inside. Without making a sound, Scourge carefully ended up following the Prime like a shadow to see just where Lancex's quarters were. Optimus, too focused on something else, quickly found his brother's room, placed his brother down on the berth, and then left, making sure to lock up the quarters.
Scourge was a bit disappointed with that last part. He had wanted to get closer to Lancex. And being the sneaky bot he could be, he carefully tried several combinations of codes before the door opened. Scourge was just glad that Optimus hadn't thought to arm the alarms of the quarters instead of just locking them. Scourge made his way in. He was a bit surprised to see the room devoid of any decorations, but that thought disappeared once Scourge spotted the sleeping Lancex. Scourge smiled a bit of a devious smile. He now had a chance to get close to the bot without anyone in the way, and Scourge took it by laying close to Lancex as he slept. Hopefully Lancex wouldn't panic when he woke, Scourge thought and then drifted off to sleep.
