The next morning, Scourge woke in a bit of a daze. He didn't recognize exactly where he was at first, and then he remembered about joining the Autobots and then following Optimus somewhere. Once fully online, Scourge realized that he had ended up snuggling with the bot who had bested him – Lancex. Lancex was still out cold but slowly, Scourge smiled. He had a golden opportunity right now. And so, gently, Scourge planted a hot kiss on Lancex's lips. Lancex moaned, as it felt good though his processor wasn't exactly sure why.
Scourge wasn't one to kiss and run, but seeing that he didn't want to stir up trouble, Scourge then left. And on his way to the rec room, Scourge ran into Snarl, who had a look to give the leader of Jungle planet. Scourge knew that look, but he had felt doing what he did was worth it. "Don't give me that look, Snarl. I have finally found a bot worthy of being my mate and bearing my sparklings" Scourge uttered.
"Really? So who has drawn your very hidden spark?" Snarl asked, wanting to support his friend.
"It's Lancex" Scourge explained, with a smile.
"The Autobots newest team members?" Snarl asked, extremely curious.
"Yes" Scourge responded, sick of playing 20 questions.
"Do you know if he is submissive and able to carry?" Snarl asked.
"No, but I intend to find out" Scourge replied.
"Have you considered that should you choose to go for that bot, that you have a very difficult time convincing Optimus?" Snarl asked, making Scourge think. Scourge had considered Optimus a nonentity in al, of this. Oh how wrong he was.
Scourge sighed and then raised his helm, "that doesn't matter. All I have to have is Lancex choose me and there will be nothing g Prime can do" Scourge answered.
"Just be careful, Prime is no weakling" Snarl reminded leader. Reluctantly Scourge nodded, as Snarl had a point. Scourge had a plan though, and he would use it no matter what, or so he thought. He had no idea that shortly, Scourge himself would not be the only bot competing for Lancex's spark, and that would lead to quite the confrontation.
