Meanwhile, Optimus, Jetfire, and Scourge arrived a the coordinates only to see a gigantic hole in the arctic ice. After looking at each other, they decided they needed to go into the hole. As they descended into the dark abyss, Optimus wandered if Scourge really liked Lancex, Optimus' older brother, or the dragon bot was just playing another game with Lancex's spark.
Once they landed, Optimus looked at Scourge. "So, Scourge, what do you think of my older brother?" Optimus queried carefully.
Scourge was a bit caught off guard, as mention of Lancex made the dragon bot blush, though he did try to hide it. "Well, Optimus, Lancex is a strong, handsome, and caring bot, but he seems aloof, serious, and he lacks emotion in his life, especially his love life." Optimus nodded while Scourge looked away blushing hard, especially when he thought of the hot kiss they had shared on the Jungle Planet.
Unbeknownst to Scourge, Optimus could tell that Scourge was not only blushing, but also likely had a huge crush on Lancex. Optimus sighed and thought oh no. Optimus had just found his brother after all the years, after having nearly given up on ever finding him again. And now that they found each other, Optimus wasn't interested in losing Lancex to anyone, especially not Scourge.
Soon, they hit the hard floor, and Jetfire used his Cyber planet key to move the ice slab, which had been blocking their way. But Jetfire's fire was not enough. Scourge powered up and soon his breath was warm enough to melt the thick ice wall that impeded them. Optimus thanked Jetfire and Scourge for their help. But soon they run into two new bots… all hoping that these would be Autobots.
Meanwhile, Lancex tried his darnedest to focus on his training, but it wasn't easy. Each time he tried to focus, Scourge came to mind. This caused a bot of a rise in Lancex. He didn't understand and so, hoping to understand, he sought out Red Alert. Little did Lancex realize what he was in for.
