After a while and feeling confused, though not knowing the name for it, Lancex headed for the med bay. Lancex had some questions and he figured a medic would be a good place to start. Thing was, Lamcex was big enough that other bots saw him coming, and Red Alert was no different. As Red watched Lancex approach, the medic couldn't help but wonder why Optimus' older brother was coming to the med bay portion of the ship, as Lancex didn't look sick or hurt.
"May I help you?" Red Alert asked, it sure where this was going to go.
"Yes…you see" Lancex started and talked about how his spark felt, how it reacted and how it felt so odd.
"Lancex, that is the sign you have found a mate or mates. The spark seems to know even when we don't. Depending on how it reacts could be showing a variety of emotions, including anxiety and excitement" Red explained.
"I still don't get it" Lancex replied, wanting to understand but failing to do so.
"It is part of getting in touch with one's feelings" Red explained. Lancex sighed as he didn't think he really had any of those. "Give it time, you will see." It was all Lancex could do to shake his head as he listened before leaving. Red Alert was happy to see Lancex start to return to a normal emotional status, but was also concerned about Optimus' reaction to this. Regardless, Red knew he had to alert Optimus.
Meanwhile, in the frozen tundra at the top of the planet called earth, Optimus, Jetfire, and Scourge were on guard, as they had heard a sound the further they explored this ginormous hole. They aimed and pointed their weapons in the direction of a noise and then two strange bots. Optimus only had them lower their weapons once the leader spotted the Autobot insignia. The other two held back, but not by much, "who are you?" Optimus demanded to know.
"Crosswise and Evac" the pair answered before indicating that they were earth bound Autobots and wanted to help. Optimus nodded, hoping that this would be a good meeting. It was as Evac revealed the third key to the Omega lock. Optimus was pleased and soon, all five bots headed back to base, none of them yet aware that Lancex would be more confused about things with one of these two new bots.
