Just minutes after the five Autobots left the arctic by warp, a different warp appeared in the place they had left – a Decepticon one. Megatron was curious as to why all of the sudden Autobots had been interested in this area. As while he didn't find the key or the Autobots, he found something that was almost as valuable to him – more expendable soldiers. He smirked and now all he had to do was set them free.

Meanwhile, now back at base and unaware of what Megatron had found, Optimus introduced the two new bots to the others. Most greeted the two new bots warmly, including Lancex. Optimus was pleased to see everyone getting along, but was wary of anyone getting to close to his older brother.

Scourge watched as well, and he wasn't pleased with the interaction between Evac and Lancex, much like Optimus but for an entirely different reason. Scourge didn't like competition for what the dragon bot presumed was his. Scourge had a sour look on his face but only the kids noticed. Scourge only remained because he was curious what the omega lock would do now that the third key would be added.

Evac, for his part, greeted everyone and introduced himself. And it was all per usual until he met Lancex. The large but unassuming bot was stunning to the helicopter though Evac had no idea why. Evac had never been interested in other bots as close mates, but this bot was changing that feeling. But not wanting to get carried away, Evac went to add the key to the lock.

After all the powerful reaction of the lock to the third key, Scattershot and Vector Prime went to figure out the data part, Optimus headed for Red Alert, and the others went elsewhere. Lancex went to talk to Landmine in an effort to help unlock the emotions Lancex had.

Red alert, still in the med bay and having missed the hoopla, was a bit caught off guard with Optimus sudden arrival. Optimus asked if anything had happened while he was out. Red, not thinking anything of it, updated Optimus on Lancex's visit. Optimus merely nodded, which was just like him. Optimus then left – in his own mind he was glad his brother's emotions were starting to come back but Optimus was not pleased to hear what started it. Optimus figured he needed to work harder to make sure he didn't lose his brother again.
