REYNA POV
I feel dreadful. First, I backstabbed him. Then, I seized his girlfriend from him. Now, I've yielded him. To say the least, the gods are angry. They were enraged little vipers threatening war on literally everything and everyone. They blame Kronos, Ouranos, us Percy and Jake and themselves. They created an emergency session where they would send the gang on a wild goose chase. Bloody bastards. Annoying assholes. paranoid prats. Thunder grumbled in the distance. I raise my hands in apology as a bolt of lightning strikes. Missing me by a literal centimetre. I bare my teeth and flip them the finger. I am done with their games.
We approached a beautiful clearing in the woods. a veil of snowdrops danced in the wintery air. The majestic trees swayed in the wind, tall and proud, hanging from every branch were icicles that glistened like liquid diamonds. In the centre was a tiny, elfin girl, of a firm build and straight-backed like a soldier. She walked gracefully towards us. Her face, pale like a porcelain doll, lit up as she saw us. The eyes were like little oval pearls, her ears were bat-like. Slowly, I approached. Kindly, she placed a delicate hand out to stop me. her thick and chestnut-coloured hair waved in the wind. Her gown was a beautiful red silk. She spoke with a calming effect, albeit loud " they went that way" she pointed her delicate hand east. We bow and thank her . she nodded and disappeared. " man, that was cool!" Grover exclaimed, breaking us out of our stupor. Astonished, we all laughed.
NICO POV
I held hands with will as we approached a door in the middle of a farm. Nothing surrounded it but fields of wheat. The air coldened, the sky darkened, the wind howled, and the smell of death rose in my nostrils. Something was coming. something dark. Something cold. Thanatos majestically appeared. His long, black wing drifted in the wind. the wind that howled, in the cold air. Given the dark sky. I had seen my father's servant many times before but never like this. He looks scary. Then he turns his steely gaze on me. Terrified, I rushed for an explanation. At Percy's name, his gaze softened. Percy has saved him and he declares he will help us. Down in the door, were some terrible souls. The doors of death. They were her. together, Will, the gang and Thanatos get sucked into the darkness.
HYPERION POV I blink. Then, I shine. Leto, to my left, let out a little squeak of surprise. I slide an arm around her and mutter "come on" . she closed her eyes and crept forward " for Percy" she muttered. We stalk forward. We had reached the doors of death, as directed by the nature spirit, and now we are walking in what looks like a long corridor. After what felt like an eternity we reached the end of the corridor. I push another door open. I blink. How? I wondered. There in front of me were some demigods, Thanatos and calypso. Those twisted, traitorous, violent jerks. They deliberately lost him, didn't they and now they're here to stop us. I am not going to let that happen . " for Kronos"
