Hyperion charged at us at the speed of light. Get it? no. anyway, the room had a wild, overgrown feel to it, which made it easy to believe that evil spirits were lurking there. BLACK SHADOWS WRAP AROUND HYPERION, HOLDING HIM DEATHLY STILL. HIS FACE BECAME AS RED AS FIRE. I TURN TO NICO BUT OUT OF THE CORNER OF MY EYE, OI SEES THANATOS WITH HIS HANDS RAISED. I NOD TO HIM IN THANKS. LETO WALKS FORWARDS AND SAYS

We kept walking till we came across a cave. The cave was a labyrinth of low, dark tunnels. Grover whimpered and Annabeth placed an arm around him. Wonder what that's about. . the wind moaned like a ghostly spirit in a veil. Or was that the dead? yep, the dead. Hundreds upon thousands of them and lying in the centre of them was a shivering Jake "Percy!" I exclaimed. Percy shot me a sad smile and pointed. Unfortunately
the dead heard me as well. "Leo!" calypso shouts after hitting my shoulder. Violently. I shoot everyone an apologetic look and I summon fire. Oh great! not hundreds. Not thousands but literal millions of dead souls surged towards us. Luckily, we had shut the door behind us, I think. oh, dam!"
The ghosts surged towards us as one. They had blazing, bloodshot eyes. short arms like stumps. A misty lower half. Together they released a blood-curdling scream and floated towards us like fog. I screamed as they devoured my dreams and twisted them into nightmares. I willed for fire as I raised my hand. I shot it at them and annihilated about 50 of them. I let out a whoop as 60 or so joined them. Thanatos and Nico were trying to do their best but it was clear we would be overwhelmed. Then I notice Percy's raised arms, with manacles around them. I understood. Percy is the titan of the dead, he could help us. I shoot my way through the dead and reach Percy. I ask " are you ok, dude?" he nods sadly and I pull out my hammer. He shakes his head and points to my hands. Fire. I burn his manacles away. I nod my head to Jake but Percy shakes his head and says " leave him for now "I nod at what he said, shocked slightly by Jake's silence and Percy's disregard for him. What had happened?
Percy went to the centre, raised his hands and all the dead stopped. just as calypso was about to be hurt by one of them. I rush close to her. Percy drops his hands and they all disappear. Percy then falls towards the floor, luckily caught by Thanatos. " thanks thany" Percy says. thany ? We go over to Jake who has been planning his chains together. He snarls at us. Jason slaps him across the face and asks " what happened?" Jake looks at his feet. "Ouranos used me, he promised me many things I wanted, like Percy so I became his spy. I was a … fool. He then broke down sobbing. I stared at him stupidly. Percy, who had now recovered, broke the silence. " I forgive you " is all he says. I then burn Jake's chains away and they then, surprisingly, hug. They then broke up, technically they never were together. I then said, " Why did you call Thanatos, Thany ?" the others look up in shock.
