The next morning, Lancex woke and his processor was still trying to completely process the dream he had last night. It obviously had effected him more than he realized as he remembered late night shower. Still, this all seemed like so much, so Lancex pushed the thoughts aside, got ready, grabbed his sword, and then headed for the rec room. He knew his sword needed some work and he also needed energon.
Meanwhile, Scourge got up and headed to the rec room as he was hungry and in need of energon. He reached the rec room just as Evac reached the rec room. Scourge was displeased to see the copter bot. Scourge glared at the chopper bot while Evac just appeared confused, as he had no idea what he had done to earn the dragon bot's ire. They both head into the rec room and instantly spotted their crush – Lancex. The bot was working on his sword as he consumed his energon. He was so focused for now, his spark was calm and not reacting to anything.
Though they were not sure about each other, both bots moved towards their crush. Lancex spotted them coming, and while he felt a blip in his spark, so to speak, he ignored it. Figuring his systems were just acting up, he invited the pair to sit at the table. Both bots sat and Scourge was puzzled by the sword and asked about it. "It's a special sword, it is made from part of my spark and has a name" Lancex explained and then showed the pair. Both were fascinated by all that Lancex was telling them.
Scourge asked more about the fighting where Lancex had been previously and Lancex told both bots about all the fighting he had done and what he had done while in the other universe. Both were stunned and glad that Lancex had survived that war to help fight in this one.
Meanwhile, unaware of developments, Optimus headed into the rec room, looking for energon. He quickly found some energon and downed it. However, as he was drinking his energon, he scanned the room and quickly realized Scourge and Evac were chatting with Lancex. Optimus was not happy but he wasn't going to make a scene here, as Landmine was in the room and Optimus wasn't about to cause the bot to get on the Prime's case about it. Optimus just watching the interaction, ready to intervene if required.
