Before Optimus could possibly stop the three from talking, a blaring alarm went off, causing all bots to rush to the main meeting room. Scattershot tried to send a comm at the same time, but the alarm covered it. It didn't take too long before all assembled in the main chambers. "What's going on Scattershot?" Optimus asked.
"Scrap metals are consuming Cybertron" Scattershot replied, and displayed the image on the monitors. It wasn't a pretty sight, and the scrap metals looked practically evil, or so the humans thought.
But not one to stand around and do nothing, Optimus soon made a team to head out. "Alright, Scattershot, Hotshot, and Red Alert, you head to Cybertron, try to stop those things" Optimus called out.
"Yes, sir" the three answered and soon were off.
"Wait… send me with them" Lancex asked, a few minutes after warp gate closed. Optimus was hesitant, but soon agreed, as it would provide an opportunity for Optimus to attempt to nip something in the Bud, or so he thought. And just like that, Lancex was gone and Scourge and Evac were left behind.
Now that Scourge and Evac were separated from Lancex, Optimus figured he could make his feelings known. Optimus found scourge first. "I know you and Evac are seeking out my older brother" Optimus suddenly stated to the dragon bot, which revealed two things to Scourge. Evac was also interested and Optimus was not happy about all of this. Scourge thought to himself that Optimus was way too protective of Lancex, though Scourge was careful not to say so.
"Remember, Optimus, that Lancex is a grown bot and as a fully grown bot, it is his choice and his choice alone as to who he has a relationship with and what kind of relationship he has with said bot" scourge tried to explain.
"I know that, however, I will not allow him to be hurt by callousness and fraud" Optimus replied.
Evac came up, as he had overheard the conversation. "Would you make him suffer just because you can't let him go?" Evac asked, seeming to know how to reach Optimus better than Scourge. Optimus walked off at that, as he didn't have an answer so he didn't want to answer. Evac and Scourge looked at each other, a bit confused about all of this. While they were't sure exactly how things would go, they hoped Lancex could reach Optimus to stop the bot from stopping bay bit from getting to know Lancex.
