Nozomi sighed as she closed the freezer door with a slight slam, she put the ice cubes she'd taken out the freezer and then wrapping them in a cloth. As she was tying the cloth up, she heard hissing coming from the neighbouring room behind her.

"You better not be messing with that wound Eli or I'm going to chop your hands off!" Nozomi shouted.

"Sorry." Came a quiet and ashamed voice.

Nozomi responded with a growling sigh, before she left the kitchen and walked into the sitting room, sat on the sofa was Eli her right hand deep in her pockets trying to hide it, her left eye was bruised and she had a cut on the right cheek, that thankfully hadn't been stitched and Nozomi knew she had bruises under her slightly torn hoodie, given that the blonde was holding her right side with her left hand that Eli was trying to hide under her right arm.

"Put your hands on the table." Nozomi ordered to the blonde.

"But…"

"I'm not asking Eli," Nozomi glared at the blonde "Hands, now!"

Nozomi was sure she saw Eli gulp and shrink a bit, before she complied, the sight of Eli's hands bruised and cut up made the fortune teller sigh before she sat down opposite the blonde before she put the ice on Eli's hand making her hiss.

"That sting?"

"Yes!"

"Good, serves you right for what happened." Nozomi scowled "Can't believe you, getting beaten up, not to mention the damage done to the place."

"Oh come on, it wasn't our fault."

"Oh, so it wasn't your fault about the pool cues."

"Well they grabbed them…"

"It wasn't your fault seven chairs were smashed."

"I thought it was only six…"

"Oh and let's not forget the three guys through the windows."

"I wasn't even involved with that…"

"And the fact that my girlfriend and three of my friends ended up in the hospital looking like they took on Jack the Ripper and came last, not to mention said girlfriend got thrown over the counter."

"Ok!" Eli shouted back before hissing and then carrying on "You made your point we're idiots, happy now?"

"Not even remotely." Nozomi scowled as she changed to Eli's other hand "How's the rest of you?"

"A few bruises but that's all."

"That's good." Nozomi sighed "Why'd you snap at them anyway?"

"Well it was Umi that snapped first actually." Eli said quietly.

"And why would Umi snap first?" Nozomi asked surprised it was the most disciplined member of the group to start a fight.

"I'm not sure what she said exactly, but one of the girls in the group made some comment about Kotori and well you know how protective Umi is." Eli said sheepishly.

"And you didn't try and hold her back?"

"Well in her defence Umi just confronted her and asked her to apologise."

"And then?"

"She mentioned you and we gave her one last chance."

"And then?"

"Then she threw the bottle at Umi, she missed and hit Maki as she was coming out the loo and then Umi hit her and well you know the rest." Eli said looking down at her knees.

Nozomi let out a sigh and got another apology from the blonde, Nozomi let out a huff before she spoke again "Please don't do this again."

"I'll try."

"If it wasn't for the fact the four of you ended up in the A and E I would have been impressed with the fact you fought twelve to four."

"Well we are the soldier trio." Eli tried a smile.

Nozomi simply scowled and Eli dropped the smile "Soldier trio plus one," Nozomi scowled "your forgetting Rin coming in and saving you three from the guys who came in from behind with the pool cues."

"Yeah, never would have thought she'd be so good in a brawl." Eli smiled a little again "I'm sure Hanayo's mad at her to right now."

"Hanayo's not as mad as me, she more likely fussing over her like crazy right now." Nozomi said as she took the ice off the Russians hands.

Nozomi stood up and took the ice to the kitchen again and put the ice in the sink "Nozomi?"

"Yes Eli?" Nozomi said quietly.

"How long you going to be mad at me?"

Nozomi turned and looked at her girlfriend, she looked small and defeated 'Elichi that's unfair being that cute when you look sad.' Nozomi thought as she turned and filled the kettle before putting it on and then walking back to Eli.

"I'm not mad at you." Nozomi said as she sat down "I just hate seeing my cute little Elichi hurt like this." Getting a small blush out the blonde.

"Even if it's for defending you."

"Yes, it ruins your cute looks."

"Nozomi!" Eli said turning away but Nozomi could see the blush increase.

"I don't believe that's the correct name to use is it, Elichi?"

"Sorry Nontan."

The two sat in silence for a while before Nozomi went and poured the pair some tea "Has Kotori said anything about Umi yet?" Eli asked as Nozomi handed her cup over.

"No, though she did mention you're in big trouble later."

"Why me, I didn't start it?"

"She seems to think you did."

"Could you tell her please?"

"Erm, maybe but it will require payment."

"What's it going to cost?"

"Well you know that holiday we have booked in a week?"

"Yeah, what about it?"

"Well, let's just say the last two days of our holiday will be interesting for you."

Nozomi giggled as she saw the colour drain from Eli's face "Don't you think that's a little severe, I mean yeah we got beat up but that's a bit much."

"Well if that's the way you think, then you can face the scary birdie yourself then."

"Ok, fine, just be gentle with me this time please."

"Aw, how could I hurt my big soft teddy bear." Nozomi giggled as she saw Eli's face go bright red.

"Nozomi, I told…Argh!" Eli said as she had begun to turn only to stop.

"Elichi are you ok?" Nozomi said as she moved to the blonde's side.

"Yeah, just don't make me move so much or so fast, it hurts."

"Sorry." Nozomi said.

"It's ok." Eli said.

Nozomi went to lift the Russians hoodie, but the moment Eli felt the hoodie lift she grabbed the twin tailed girl's hand and stopped her.

"Hey, let me look." Nozomi said with a pleading look, Eli turned away before she let out a sigh and removed her hand.

Nozomi carefully lifted the hoodie and shirt up till she saw the angry purple bruise on Eli's side making her gasp "How did this happen?"

"When I went over the bar, there was a bottle on the ground and I landed on it with my side and well that's what happened." Eli said looking up at the ceiling. Nozomi gently touched the bruise with her finger but getting a hiss out of Eli.

"Sorry, how bad is it?" Nozomi asked concerned.

"I thinking the doctor said a bruised rib, maybe two." Eli said nervously.

"Maybe?" Nozomi said with a glare.

"Three." Eli said nervously.

"Eli!"

"Ok, its four." Eli sighed in defeat and looked away.

"Honestly, why didn't you tell me?" Nozomi said exasperated "Wait there." Nozomi said as she stood up and went to the bathroom.

"Huh, where are you going?"

"To run you a hot bath, to help your ribs."

"Thank you." Eli sighed as she sighed in relief.

"And Eli."

"Yes?"

"It's now three days."

(Two hours later)

Nozomi helped the groaning blonde onto the bed and then helped her lay down "Why'd you make me have a bath, it feels worse." Eli groaned.

"It will help, it won't hurt so much in the morning." Nozomi sighed, despite how tough Eli could be at times she could also be a right baby "Guess I'm sleeping on the couch tonight."

Eli shot up but regretted it "Ow."

"Stay down." Nozomi said as she forced the blonde down again.

"No, stay please." Eli said as she held on to one of the twin-tailed girl's hands "I'm sorry."

"What about?"

"Everything." Eli sighed with a dower look.

"I'm not mad you, ok?" Nozomi said with a smile trying to settle the blonde "I just don't like seeing my little teddy bear hurt."

"Nozomi!" Eli said her cheeks heating up at the nickname.

"Sorry couldn't help it." Nozomi smiled "Get some rest ok, I'll be right here when you get back."

"Ok." Eli said as she laid down "Though can I have a goodnight kiss?"

Nozomi smiled before leaning down and gently kissing the blonde on her lips "Good night Elichi."

"Good night Nontan." Eli replied returning the kiss before closing her eyes.
