While the brothers napped, with Optimus wrapped inside Lancex like when they little, Evac and Scourge glared at each other. Well, more like Scourge glared at Evac while the bot remained mostly calm but firm. Both decided to go their own ways to seek out information. As Evac headed off, he ran into Jetfire, while Scourge ran into Red Alert and Landmine on his path.
Evac, knowing Jetfire was friendly and knowledgeable, asked the bot about how to start a relationship with another bot. Stunned, Jetfire asked Evac who this lucky bot might be. Reluctantly, Evac revealed that the bot's name was Lancex, which cause Evac to blush as he admitted it. Jetfire smiled warmly, even as he was shocked by the revelation. Jetfire made the suggestion for Evac to get to know Lancex, find out bot's likes and dislikes and just about the bot in general. Jetfire also suggested to be subtle but direct about the choppers feeling when talking to the Swordsman. Evac had much to think about and thanked Jetfire profusely.
With Scourge, Landmine and Red Alert gave the dragon bot pretty much the same advice in regards to Lancex. However, Red Alert did have one thing he felt compelled to say. Scourge looked at the bot as the medic revealed that Lancex was indeed a strong submissive and could carry, but that also meant one mate would not be enough to truly satisfy the bot's needy spark if the bot does indeed one day bond. He would need at least 2 Red Alert revealed. Scourge thanked them for the info and soon left, lots of thoughts going through his processor.
After a bit, Scourge and Evac ran into each other once again. Evac sighed, as he wasn't looking forward to this, or so he thought. "I am not backing down on winning over Lancex's spark, Scourge. You want him, you go through me" Evac stated, possessively unlike his usual self.
Scourge sighed. "Evac, Lancex is a strong submissive, meaning that he can carry but, according to Red Alert, he will need at least 2 mates to fill his spark and need, if he decides to bond" Scourge revealed.
"I am not sure I believe you. You've been known to lie to get what you want" Evac retorted.
Scourge sighed again. "You can asked Landmine who was there when Red said it. Lancex is a strong submissive and will need at least two mates to satisfy him. I am not lying" Scourge shot back.
Evac was stunned. If the medic said that, it must have been true. "So what do we do now?" Evac asked.
"Truce?" Scourge offered up. Evac nodded, from now on, they would work together to win Lancex's spark. They didn't realize that would not be as easy as they thought, but they knew it would worthwhile be none the less.
