Back with the brothers, Optimus soon roused. He felt himself wrapped carefully in two strong arms as well as he was snuggled close to someone. He felt awkward, as the last time this had happened was the night before Lancex left for what little Optimus felt like would be forever. Once his processor was fully back online, Optimus realized that it was Lancex holding Optimus as they slept. Optimus tried to carefully slip out of the arms, but ended up waking Lancex anyways. Lancex gently smiled,just like he used to do. Optimus smiled back but still got up. "Sorry, brother" Optimus said, feeling like he had taken advantage of the bot as well as for last night.
"I'm always here for you, brother. I don't mind you leaning on me, and now I finally understand much of the damage caused by my disappearance. We are still family no matter how life changes things even if we eventually find mates to love us" Lancex replied, hugging Optimus before they grabbed energon and then headed back to the rest of the bots. Lancex was glad that they had had the discussion as it had really opened his optics to what he had left behind. He promised himself that even if they should end up in different families some day, death would be the only thing that separated the brothers now.
Meanwhile, back with the bots, the were preparing for the return of the Prime, who suddenly disappeared. Just then, Optimus and Lancex suddenly reappeared, rolling up and joining the others as they hoped to find the answer about the last Cyber Planet key. And it was good that they had, for once they rejoined the others, Primus soon appeared and alerted the Autobots about the remaining key that they were seeking. Primus revealed not only was the key on Gigantiun but also that the planet had fallen into a worm hole and in to another dimension. Optimus was amazed yet disappointed as well. They had come so close yet we're still so far.
Meanwhile, Scourge and Evac were trying to figure out just when they should make their move. They were curious as to how best to approach this, especially with Optimus being an obstacle as well. For now, they would sit on this and help find the last key in hopes to get in Optimus' good graces.
