Patriot-112: Oh...M...G... I can't believe how long it took me to finally get this chapter out! I really HAVE gotten rusty!
Of course, that's what happens when you finally got a job, or constantly called upon by...eccentric relatives.
Anyways, here I am, with another new chapter! Sorry for the long wait. I hope you all enjoyed the first chapter, since I wanted to wait to see how many would favor or follow, and so far I'm not disappointed. Although, I hope there are those who would give an honest review. Doesn't have to be mean, or troll-ish, or any other flame idea I can think of. Just be respectful.
Now then, enough of that, let's get started.
Chapter One:
More Surprises
Adam Taurus was skilled at many things...unfortunately, patience was not one of them.
And that weakness was clouding his judgment as he watched what was happening at the Amity Coliseum as Cinder and her cohorts were being accosted by the Huntsman Team...the reason he would think that?
Well, they were armed and dressed like huntsmen and huntresses, so that made them such, no?
Anyway, said Vale Branch Leader of the White Fang was gritting his teeth as he looked at the screen of his scroll.
"After following her advice for months, she screws up now!?" he growled, as his grip on the device tightened in anger.
"Brother Adam, what shall we do?" said one of the many warriors with him, as they anxiously waited for his orders.
Adam only glared at the screen of his scroll through the eye slits of his custom mask, before turning to answer his subordinate.
"If Cinder doesn't rectify this, we'll be slaughtered before we can even arrive at Beacon!" He angrily snarled out, "But... there's still the hope of Roman being busted out of Ironwood's ship in order to hack the Atlesian Knights to fight for us."
He then turned to the rest of his gathered troops.
"Get ready, just in case." he ordered before he gripped Wilt's handle, "I will go to the Arena and get Cinder and her cohorts out of the-,"
"AAGGHH!"
The sudden scream got everyone of the Faunus' attention as they snapped around, only to see a gun that belonged to one of them drop to the ground.
"Wait, what the He-!?"
Another White Fang member began to say, before he was suddenly pulled from under his feet and dragged into the woods where they were hiding, while screaming all the way.
"What's going on here!?" said another member as the rest began to group together.
That question was answered as five more White Fang were yanked off their feet and dragged into the woods screaming before they were quickly, and immediately, silenced.
Adam was barely able to glimpse what looked like cables that had wrapped around their legs before pulling them away. Gritting his teeth, he drew his weapon as he glared out to the forest.
"Who are you? Show yourself!" Adam shouted, and waited for the answer as he and his people waited for their attackers.
They didn't have to wait long.
It was the ones with the sensitive ears that heard it first.
"Brother Adam...there's something coming...it...it doesn't sound like humans." said a female dog Faunus.
Adam blinked at that, but before he could demand what the woman said, he began to hear it...that sound.
As if knives were clinking together.
It was then followed by the sound of, soft but noticeable, servos. A sound he was familiar with fighting many of Atlas' drones. But these were more quiet, which partly explained why they didn't notice them earlier.
Before long, he caught sight of the first sign of their attackers.
A pair of glowing red eyes, which was quickly followed by more which soon encompassed the entire tree line of their camp, showing that they were surrounded.
"Stay strong!" Adam encouraged as he saw many of his comrades begin to tremble at the sight of the eyes, "We've dealt with Atlas robots before! We can deal with whatever they sent here!"
"That is where you are wrong...Adam Taurus,"
Adam's eyes widened at the sound of his name being spoken by a synthetic voice, before he saw one of the pairs of eyes begin to move forward, and stepped out into the light of the lamps and fractured moon of Remnant.
The figure was quadrupedal in nature as it stalked forward, like a certain canine predator, it's body was covered in black, and silver matte metal, which glinted in the light.
The face of the creature was terrifying, appearing angular, jaws filled with teeth, with two long sharp pointed ears, and the two red eyes they saw before.
"Your ambition and blind quest for revenge ends here... tonight," the creature spoke again, and before Adam could get a word out the metal wolf like creature reared it's head back and gave a terrifying metallic howl, before the rest of the eyes jumped forward...followed by the sounds of guns firing and many more terrorists screaming in terror.
Back at the Amity Arena
Sparks flew, and guns discharged, as everyone in the stadium watched the clash between the two parties. One, whose member they believed was the victim of an assault by an overzealous Beacon student. The other party, who were dead set on putting them six feet, times ten, into the ground.
While Emerald and Mercury were currently dealing with their own respective opponents, with Mercury trying to avoid being hammered into a bloody smear on the ground, while Emerald was busy dodging the blades of her assailant's pistols.
All the while, Cinder was outnumbered as the two who had ambushed her worked as a team. The strategy they used was simple, as the girl would engage her at close quarters, while the boy would use his spear rifle to attack her at a distance before they switched places and, in two instances, traded their weapons with each other. It seemed to work as it constantly took the Bitch in the Red Dress off guard at times.
All the while, everyone just looked on, especially two specific teams.
"...Whoa...," was the only intelligible thing that was able to come out of the Little Rose's mouth as she watched the pair attacking Cinder, with clearly no intentions of giving her any breathing room.
"You said it, Ruby," said Jaune, just as equally impressed as her, as he and the second pair of Team JNPR watched the four on three battle.
"Who do you think they are?" Nora said curiously, as she watched the girl, who fought strangely like Ren, give Emerald a one handed cartwheel kick to the solar plexus, knocking the air out of the green haired girl.
"I'm not sure, Nora," Ren answered as she watched the hammer wielder swing his weapon one handed as it nearly hit Mercury as he jumped away, but the man was still in hot pursuit. "But...there is something familiar about them."
Shield met face as Cinder went flying back before crashing back down on the floor, making her grasp her face as she glared at the duo through her fingers.
"Who. The hell. ARE YOU!?"
The two didn't answer as they continued their unrelenting attack on her. Making her grit her teeth, as she received an overhead kick from the girl that she managed to cross block, but was kicked in the gut by the man. She staggered back, giving an unladylike growl.
"I'm getting really tired of this!" she spat, as a flame tried to form around her eye only for it to wither away, and she grunted in pain as she covered it in pain and frustration "Dammit! Come on!"
Ever since that man revealed that silver eye and the light that came afterward, she had been unable to fully use the power she had stolen from Amber. She could still use her semblance well enough, but the glass weapons she crafted with it, were not as strong as before.
"Still wondering why those stolen powers of yours haven't been helping you out as much right now?" she heard the man say and looked at the said person, whom her hatred for was growing by the minute.
"What did you DO TO ME!?" she demanded, and only received a chuckle as the man formed his rifle into a familiar sword she saw only the Nikos girl used, as he flipped it into a reverse grip.
"Let's just say, even a donated eye from a silver eyed warrior can still cause considerable damage to Grimm..." he said, and Cinder could swore she could feel a smug smirk on his face. "...Especially if that Grimm was used to steal a power for a person it doesn't belong to,"
Cinder's glare only increased the more her rage grew.
"I'm going to make you all regret ever crossing me!" she said, before she had to dodge another sword slash from the girl.
"Good luck with that, cause it ain't happening,"
The two were about to continue with their duel, but then the familiar sound of jet engines was heard and everyone stopped to look, as three Atlesian gunships came into view over the Coliseum.
"Well now...if it isn't the fools of the North," said the man, and just as he said that, the hardlight shield suddenly shut down, which allowed the gunships to begin hovering closer, "Well, guess they decided to cut the power."
Cinder watched as her two assailants looked at each other, as if conversing on what to do, before the girl nodded and proceeded to leave and head toward the group of Atlas Soldiers and Atlesian Knights.
"And now it's just you and me for a while."
The Atlas soldiers and their...possible replacements began to surround the hooded girl as she calmly looked at them.
"Drop your weapons and stand down!" ordered one of the Trooper as the girl looked at them all, her eyes hidden by the shadow of her hood. "Do it! Or we'll use force!"
The man's response was a chuckle from the woman.
"You may try," she said putting extra emphasis on the try in a mocking manner, that rubbed the Atlesians the wrong way,
"You asked for it lady!" The apparent leader of this rabble said, "Take her-!"
Before he could even give the order, the magazines to their guns dropped out of their wells, while the bullets in the chambers were ejected, much to the confusion of everyone of the Atlas troops, while the AK-202s remained emotionless.
"What the-!?" gaped one of the troopers, before his and the other rifles along with the Atlesian Knights were surrounded by a black light and were yanked out of their hands and lifted up above their heads.
"You won't need those, boys" the girl said, before she snapped her fingers, which resulted in every pin and screw on both the guns and the androids to come out of their sockets and rain down on the ground. Followed by all the now loose parts of the aforementioned machines as they crashed to the ground.
Pyrrha who had been watching the girl could only gape as she saw what was definitely her semblance being used to disarm the Atlas Soldiers and dismantle the Atlesian Knights. Only, she didn't see her move a muscle except when she snapped her fingers.
Back with the said girl, she watched as the Atlesians instead went for their batons, and extended them. Her hidden green eyes rolled in annoyance at that.
"Not gonna give up, huh?" she said, and her response was an overhead strike from one of the soldiers, which she just grabbed the outstretched arm and threw the man over her shoulder, eliciting a yelp of surprise, causing him to land on his head, and knock him out. The woman only sighed, "Twice the pride, double the fall,"
That signaled for the rest of the Atlesians to begin charging at her as well.
"Here we go!"
With that, the humbling beatdown began as she proceeded to punch one trooper in the throat, causing him to grasp his throat in pain, and gasp for air, only for his humiliation to continue, as he was grabbed and used as a human shield from an attack by one of his own comrades, which struck the visor of his helmet, resulting in it being smashed like glass. The force of the blow sent the poor soul to the ground, leaving his comrade to stare in shock, which left him open to the series of punches to his chest and stomach, which ended with the last one nearly making him puke out his lunch.
The girl then Spartan kicked him into another charging comrade, sending both to the ground. Said woman then turned her attention to the last two, one's armor colored orange and the other colored maroon, who were now rethinking the currently failing strategy to subdue this rogue huntress.
"Uhhh...," mummed the orange trimmed one before nudging his comrade forward, causing him to gasp in surprise, "...You take her...,"
His comrade looked at him, like he just fed him to a Leviathan.
"Wha- Me!? Alone!?" he queried astonishingly, "Screw that! You take her!"
"Hey I don't want to get my ass kicked like that!" the cowardly soldier said, "I joined the army to kill Grimm not...whatever the hell she is!"
He motioned to the girl who, unknown to them, was looking at them with a bored/annoyed expression. The Maroon colored soldier glared from behind his visor.
"Ooooh, you backstabbing cockbite!" he growled.
"Better a cockbite then-"
Bang! Bang!
The argument was cut off as the shield of the woman hit the orange one in the face, while ricocheting into the face of the maroon one.
"Ow! The front of my face!" the latter complained, as the shield went back to the hand of the huntress as she returned to it's spot on her back.
"Who the hell recruited idiots like you into the Atlesian army? I will never know,"
Meanwhile in Argus
A certain diminutive commander of the Atlesian Military's Argus Base, gave a sneeze, which caused her loyal twin lacky lieutenants to each bring out a tissue box.
Back in Vale
Arena Announcer's Booth
James gave a groan of irritation after he saw the last two of his soldiers go down, as he massaged the temples of his head at the headache he was now having.
"That...is the last time I have Coraline scout for recruits." he said to himself, but was heard by Port and Oobleck as the latter fixed his glasses, while the former 'coughed' to hide a laugh
Back in the arena, Cinder and her cohorts were still in their bout with the unknowns. The three were now sporting a number of bruises that their aura would heal in time, but still hurt like a bitch. Cinder herself bearing the most, due to the fact she faced two opponents instead of one, and to say she was getting sick and tired was an understatement. She was just royally fed up with this shit!
Though she was relieved that one of her assailants left her partner to deal with those useless fools from Atlas, she knew said fools would not last long in distracting her. And her theory was proven right, as the girl demolished Ironwood's toys, and gave the accompanying Atlas soldiers a beating they would never forget. But that meant that the girl was now coming back to aid her partner. Cinder knew she had to think of something to get herself and her subordinates out of this mess and fast.
"Hey! Cindercunt!" She heard the man shout and looked up just in time to barely avoid having her head skewered by the spear form of her opponent's weapon. Only to recieve a Spartan kick of her own from the man, sending her back. "Might wanna stay focused there! We don't wanna end this too soon, now do we!?."
Cinder growled at this worm's disrespect. She then tried to use her maiden power's again. She managed to ignite a flame, but once again the power flickered away like a candle.
'Dammit!' she mentally cursed, 'Come on, damn you!'
With the said man, his blue uncovered eye glared in concern at the flame that the red dress bitch tried to spark.
'Shit, her power's are starting to come back.' he thought, 'Better hurry before they do,'
He then felt his sister next to him, and smirked behind his mask.
"Had fun?" he asked, and the response from her was a simple 'tsk'.
"All too easy," she said, and her brother shrugged.
"Yup, well that's what happens when you spend more money on emotionless androids than training real people," he said, and his sister nodded.
"So true," she said, before she drew her weapons and got into a stance, and looked in Cinder's direction, "So, what did I miss?"
Her brother shrugged as he entered in step with her.
"Oh the usual, except our little flame bitch is starting to get her powers back," he informed.
Hands clenched tightly as emerald eyes narrowed.
"Then we better wrap this up, then," the girl said, before she and her brother sprinted forward, determined to knock the last of Cinder's down, and so that they could finish her off.
Cinder gritted her teeth as she saw them coming, and got ready to defend herself...only for the strangest thing to happen as a single figure to get between them. This caused the two to stop in their tracks, as they saw the person who got between them and the completion of their mission. One of two they wanted to know so much about, but didn't have the courage to do so.
Pyrrha looked at the two hooded individuals before her. She had enough. She finally decided to intervene in order to get the answers she wanted. Why was this happening? Who where they? And why were they dead set on ending Cinder? She needed to know.
She looked at the two who only looked back at her, her eyes narrowed slightly in suspicion, and confusion. The two parties didn't say a world for a moment, until Pyrrha did.
"Why...?" she said, making the two hoods jolt out of their survey of the woman. "Why are you doing this? How...why do you fight like me?"
She then looked at the girl in the white version of her armor.
"Where did you get that armor?" she said, making the girl actually flinch, "Why does it look like mine?"
She then turned to the boy, "Your weapon, it's the same as Milo," she observed, "Same dimensions, same function...everything.,"
The two remained silent, unsure on how to answer her. Both were just struck dumb as they continued to look at her, as she spoke one final question.
"Who are you?"
While this was going on, Cinder used the momentary distraction to catch her breath and recharge her aura, which was near the red. She observed the three as Nikos spoke to them, and to be honest, she was just as curious as she was. But right now, she just wanted to hurt them as they had hurt her.
They had mocked her, burned her, humiliated her, and they needed to be punished. She looked at Nikos' back as she continued to try to talk to them, before a smirk formed on her face. She then formed a glass shard, she then gripped like a dagger.
The so-called Invincible Girl's match with the robot girl will no doubt have her aura be depleted enough to be weak against something like she had in mind. And in her sick twisted mind, what better idea for revenge against these two, than the life of an innocent. And with that she put her plan into action.
Penny, who had so far been merely observing in order to properly conduct a strategy in order to subdue the four, took notice of Cinder as she formed a glass dagger and prepared to charge at her, causing the android girl's eyes to widen in alarm. Of course, she wasn't the only to notice this as Ruby and Jaune in the stands looked on with their friends, before they saw what Penny saw, and their eyes widened in horror.
"MISS NIKOS!"
"PYRRHA!"
"BEHIND YOU!"
Pyrrha Blinked at the shouts to her, before she turned her head and her eyes widened, the world slowing down, as she saw the shard heading straight for her eye. In that moment, her life flashed before, making her relive her memories. Remembering her childhood in Argus, her early training to become a huntress, enrolling to Signal Academy, her tournament victories which came at the cost of never making any friends in her home, her first day at Beacon and initiation the next day...when she met the boy that would win her heart, the formation of Team JNPR, her friendship with team RWBY, the adventures they had, all of them good memories. But the most cherished memory that came to her mind...was the Dance Night, where she and Jaune danced together...the latter in a dress in order to cheer her up, and also because he made a promise.
'...Jaune...,'
However, as she saw her doom approaching, she didn't notice that the two in front of her had raised their hands, both glowing black, which the same glow surrounded the metal of her armor, before they gave a hard jerk and pulled her from Cinder, causing her to go flying forward, and slam right into them sending the three crashing to the ground.
All three grunted as they crashed to the ground, their weapons scattering across the arena floor.
The noise stopped the fights of the other two causing them to look in their direction.
"Krim!"
"Dorée!"
Wasting no time, the two siblings broke off from their fight with Mercury and Emerald, the older brother's hammer turning into a magazine fed bazooka before firing a round each at the two underlings of Cinder, before turning his weapon and firing at Cinder, causing her to backpedal away from the three on the ground. The two then bolted toward where the three were after Cinder's attempted cheap shot. The three began to get up, groaning after Pyrrha's collision with the two.
"Okay...that hurt," the man grunted as he sat up. "You okay, sis?"
"I'll live..." the sister said as she sat up along with him, along with Pyrrha, who then turned to them only for her eyes to widen and give out a gasp. The two turned and saw her looking at them, more specifically, the sister. The other two also noticed as their eyes widened in alarm.
"Uhhh... Dorée..." said girl turned to them, as the second woman pointed at her in panic, "Your hood!"
The said girl blinked before her eyes widened before she reached her gloved hand up to her head and instead of grabbing the cloth fabric of the hood, instead were strands of blonde rooted red tipped hair, the majority tied in a bun on the back of her head. With the hood removed, Pyrrha took note of the features now revealed to her.
"...Oh no," she gasped, and turned toward Pyrrha who was still looking at her with those shocked eyes. Eyes the same color and shape as her own. Her brother, Krim, cursed mentally as she looked between the two, before sighing in irritation.
"Well, we all knew this would possibly happen," as he removed his own hood, revealing red hair in the same shade as Pyrrha's, though in a short military cut. It also revealed the strange eyepatch he wore over his right eye, as well as his own half-mask. He then reluctantly removed his mask, and Pyrrha gasped again, seeing another face she knew so well.
Krim then looked at their adoptive siblings who stood frozen, unsure what to do.
"Go on guys, take 'em off," Krim said, and the eyes of the two blinked before they both gave a sigh.
"Well, so much for incognito," The armored man said, as he removed his hood, just as Pyrrha turned around, only to see another familiar face, one similar to Ren's, but the hair is colored completely...different.
And by different, it is the same shade of reddish orange as Nora's. And let's not forget he had the same blue eyes as her as well.
Then the girl who threw Emerald into the arena earlier removed her hood, revealing black hair with a pink strip in the front, pink eyes, but having Nora's face.
"Yup," the first girl said, before grinning, "But...we're still kicking their asses, right?"
The four looked toward Cinder who was getting back up with the help of Emerald, whom the former angrily pushed away after she got back on her feet. Mercury came up to them, holding onto his side, grimacing in pain, while his right prosthetic leg had a gimp, no doubt from being damaged.
"Oh, we still are," Krim said as he stood and reached out to his sister, who accepted the gesture and gripped his hand allowing him to lift her up all the while removing her own mask. They both looked down at Pyrrha, still on her knees, as she looked at the two, her expression holding both shock and confusion.
Dorée sighed as she looked at the Mistralian.
"I know you have questions...," she said, before smiling sheepishly "...okay, a lot of questions. But, for right now, we can't answer them. Just know this...you'll thank us for this later.
Pyrrha blinked and was about to say something before the familiar sound of jet engines got their attention, and made them turn toward the sky, as another airship approached. Not an Atlesian airship, but a modified Bullhead, with a familiar logo on the side.
Krim blinked as he held his hand to his ear before smirking triumphantly.
"Well now," he said, getting everyone's attention, "The pack has caught the bull,"
Observing the group of four, as well as resting from the beating they received, Cinder was trying on how to salvage the situation they were currently in. She didn't want to give up, yet. They were so close to achieving their goal. And now it was all fouled up.
Mercury limped up to her as he whispered to her in a hushed tone.
"Well...things have really gotten out of our control," said the cyborg assassin, before turning to Cinder, "What do we do now? Thanks to them, everyone has by now figured out we framed the bimbo, so that means the plan is now FUBAR."
Cinder didn't need to be told that, as she already knew about that as well. And with her scroll destroyed, she won't be able to activate the virus and call in the Atlesian Knights for backup, unless Watts can control it from back at the castle. She hated to admit, but she now knew it was best to retreat. Hopefully Adam and the White Fang could keep the Atlesians and the Hunters busy long enough for them to get away.
As she thought that, the sound of VTOL jet engines got her attention. She turned, and her mouth formed a smirk as she saw the blood red wolf on the side of the incoming Bullhead.
'Speak of the Devil, and he shall come,' she thought as the airship approached, as a hole the hard light shield dome opened up, allowing it through before it closed again.
The Bullhead then proceeded to land between Cinder's group, and the four other youths and Pyrrha. The side doors opened, but what Cinder saw made her eyes widen in shock.
"...No," she hissed, as she saw Adam, but the arms of the vengeance drunk bull faunus were all but restrained in the metallic jaws of two wolf-like robots. Said terrorist was cursing a mile a minute, as the machines jumped out of the airship toward the group that attacked her, four including the two holding Adam, and proceeded to calmly walk toward them. She even noticed that one of the canine robots had it's wire-like tail wrapped around Adam's Wilt.
"The...They got Adam, too!?" She heard Emerald say in shock, "How was that even possible!? And what the hell are those?"
Cinder didn't say anything as she kept looking at the scene, as the machine holding the sword of the murderous bull ran up and...acted like a normal dog in front of the four assailants, whom only smiled at the creature before the blonde haired girl accepted the weapon from the robot, before patting it on the head like a pet.
In the booth
Ironwood's eyes were wide in greater shock as he spotted the canine androids that brought in the Bull Faunus. He just couldn't believe it.
'Impossible...that project was scrapped two years ago!' he thought frantically.
He then reached for his scroll, and immediately hit the contact button labeled for the orange haired android girl who for the moment was only observing and recording.
It didn't take long for him to get in contact with her.
"Penny, this is the General...," James began, "...Whatever happens...,"
Back In the Arena.
The four, minus Pyrrha who was still on the ground looking at them in pure shock and bemusement, watched as the android canines approached with their prisoner who was struggling in the grip of their metal jaws. The two pairs of siblings smirked as they came toward them.
"He doesn't look happy," said Raine as he stood up and hefted his weapon on his shoulder.
"You would be, too, if you had two android dogs clamping their metal jaws on your arms," An snipped as one of the canines came running up to the group, a sheathed red katana carried by it's wire-like tail.
Dorée walked over and accepted Wilt from the canine, before she gave it a pat on the head like a normal dog.
"Well done," She said in a loving tone, "And the others?"
"The other White Fang have either been neutralized or have fled," the canine said in a robotic voice, "We've had losses of our own: D-five through seven have been terminated...,"
The canine android turned toward the captured Adam, as it's eyes glowed an ominous red.
"...because of him,"
Dorée nodded at that before she moved toward the revenge obsessed bull faunus before she knelt down in front of him. She noted that he was still wearing his mask, which she nodded mentally at.
"Adam Taurus...," she said, and the reaction she got from the brute was obvious as he looked at her with contempt. "...I must say, it is certainly more interesting meeting you in person than just listening to News Reports. Did you enjoy your time with the Dreis? I can only guess they played a little too rough,"
Adam growled furiously at that, "Tell your dogs to let me go and I'll show how rough I can be, you DAMN HUMAN!" he yelled, before spitting at her which Dorée blocked with the back of her hand.
"Hm, well that was unpleasantly rude," she commented before flinging the spittle off her hand, "But that's to be expected, considering what happened to you when you were ill-treated by that false Schnee bastard's goons,"
She then looked at Adam's masked face as it morphed into shock before snarling again.
"You don't know ANYTHING of what happened to me!" he shouted and attempted to lunge at her, only for the Drei's jaws to tighten their grip on his arms.
"No...," she said, before looking at the left Drei, and giving it a hand signal. The wire tail of the Drei suddenly wrapped itself around Adam's head, forcing him to remain still. Dorée then reached her hand out to the mask hiding Adam's eyes. Adam tried to thrash around, but the Drei's hold on his arms and the tail wrapped around his head prevented that, before the girl's fingers grasped the mask, "...but, I have an idea,"
With that, she yanked off the mask, revealing the true reason why he wore it. Beside his perfectly normal right blue eye, his left eye was a dead grey, with the sclera being a blood red. The cause, obviously shown by the brand mark scar in the familiar logo of the Schnee Dust Company.
"You know Adam, you're not the only person who had to suffer because of people like him," she said, "Like you, me and my brother were seen as nothing more than tools and disposable pawns by an arrogant and self-entitled ass, who thought he was a gift from the Gods. He even tried to tame something that couldn't and shouldn't be tamed, and in the end...an entire city, paid for his hubris. And like you, we were branded...scarred. But unlike you Adam, we had people who brought us out of the dark abyss of hatred...while you jumped into and reveled in it,"
She then stood up and gave a nod to the two Dreis before their jaws released Adam. As the Vale Branch leader of the White Fang panted and massaged his now free arms, his attention was grabbed as Wilt and Blush landed right in front of him. He looked up at Dorée who only gave him a neutral expression.
"If you wish to continue this pointless bloody vendetta of a crusade, then I'm not going to bother trying to convince you to stop." she said, "But know this, if you continue this fracas to it's final stupidity...no one will win, and everyone will die,"
With that she turned around, and went back with the others, followed by the Dreis.
Adam looked between his weapon and the back of the human girl who had the nerve to lecture him. Though there were parts of her little speech that had rung true, he was too late to turn back now. He had signed a deal with the devil, and he was going to complete it, no matter what. He grabbed onto the sheathed sword and pulled it out of the rifle scabbard, before he began charging toward the girl.
Only to stop and block the incoming round aimed at his head.
"That...was your last chance, Taurus," growled the voice of the red haired boy as he held the rifle form of his weapon which was now smoking from the recent discharge of his rifle, while the said youth gave him a harsh glare. "And you just blew it, big time,"
Patriot-112: And end chapter! Again, sorry for the lateness. As I said, things at home have become busy as of late. Until next time!
