Answer:

RadBmad21 - well she lost a big part of her arm (with elbow and everything under it), but not whole, so the prosthetic one with her talent in weapon building would make a good weapon in melee fight.

She is young, an eleven year old, but in volume one and two she was 15, after skipping two years to attend the beacon, so I kinda got a small window for development (according to wiki, her birthday is on October 31, which also shows that during volume 3 (vital festival, she is 16).

Now she is free, therefore she can finally make her own decisions and grinder will stop, though life is unpredictable and story is in making.

Don't worry about her becoming a psycho killing everything, as she still has half of her family alive, who are pure humans and Sienna did not have a lot of screen time nor was able to give a lot of push in original story with Adam Taurus leading local white fang cell and making shoots under Cinder. We all know that Adam was a revenge filled person, but almost nothing about her. What we know of is that she was easy on humans? Might be possible cause of a radical faction to betray her and side with the new leader.

Chapter 6

When she finally woke up, there was nothing left from the fire and realized how lucky she was as no Grimm attacked her. Then a hunger hit her, as she knew that the last meal she ate was a breakfast back in mine and it was dark outside.

"Damn… What should I do now…" she started to murmur silently, as she looked around her searching for something.

"Maybe I will find some fruits on trees, or bushes..." Ruby stood up after thinking aloud and started checking foliage for something edible and found a wild patch of strawberries, which she did not eat for years. Taking one she was able to moan in delight as sweet taste filled her tongue. After a while she satisfied her hunger, but one third of the strawberry bushes were empty.

"I will eat them for breakfast and continue traveling, until I find a way to get help, or transportation off this continent" she again thought loudly, as she was not used to silence near her. Ruby then tried to hear any sound of civilization with her ears, but failed.

"Looks like I need to get wood for fireplace and a weapon. Maybe a spear. It is only a stick with a pointy end at the end"

She then started collecting lying branches and placing some of them in a fireplace, while keeping the rest of them in the near vicinity of it. She even managed to find a branch that could be used as a spear, but it had a lot of waste wood on it and was still attached to a tree.

"I don't have knife, or axe to cut it off and sharpen it. Aura won't help me and my sembla… Wait, I can use aura to coat it in a way I want and use semblance to get it out" with this realization she placed her hand on a branch and poured her aura on it, while making sure to shape a spear, but failed when she cut the connection with her aura and use her semblance. She felt that it cost her a lot of aura to do it, and she had enough to try it two more times, but the spear was nowhere to be seen.

"What did I do wrong? I shaped my aura using wood as target. It failed on last step when I had to cut it off from me and use semblance. Maybe that is a problem" Ruby then tried again, but this time she made an aura to keep connected to her hand and then used her semblance to move a couple of steps away. Materializing she saw a simple wooden sharp spear on her hand which wasn't shaped only in the place where she was holding it. She then caught the spear in a different place and made a handle in place of an unshaped branch for easy hold the way as before.

"It worked, yes!" She yelled happily, as her spear was lying on the ground. Now she had a way to defend herself against smaller Grimm and hope for bigger ones to leave her alone.

She threw her spear with aura onto the tree and then using her semblance, she climbed it to the lever of her spear and lied on a branch in order to catch a sleep for the rest of night.

In merely three hours Ruby was woken up by a rustling of leaves and looking around she saw a pack of grimm trying to ambush her. She then reached for her spear and decided to fight. Using her semblance she traveled to the back of the furthest one and pushed her spear into its back using the momentum she gained from semblance. It penetrated its head causing grimm to start dissolving into black particles. Without thinking she reentered her semblance and appeared in front of the first one with her spear thrusting into its eye. It was also an easy kill, as they were completely unmatched. The last one tried to charge at her but she again using semblance thrust her spear forward with her body into his eye, but she made a mistake as a dead grimm broke her spear and slammed into her, before dissipating completely.

"Lesson learned, don't stand in front of a charging monster. Good thing this re are no more grimm" Ruby murmured softly while massaging her hurting ass from landing on a small rock, but happiness didn't last long, as she saw a nevermore landing in front of her.

"Had to call it…" she reached for the remains of her spear and using her semblance she tried to reach its head, but nevermore used its wing to block her approach, causing her to slam into it and materialize falling to the ground with a thud. Then it roared and looked at her. Then he opened his mouth and was getting closer to eating her whole.

"I will not die today!" She yelled in defiance, but she was too stunned and afraid to think about using her semblance to escape. In a moment a time slowed down as in her mind, she recalled her mother, Yang, dad, uncle Qrow, Grandpa, her deceased friends and her saviour Jim. Then something started to flow into her eyes, not an aura, or semblance, but something similar and white light flashed, turning partially nevermore in front of her into stone. It wicked and started thrashing, with his jaw, half of his head and stomach was now made of stone, but was still alive.

Ruby used it as a chance to reach her broken spear and threw it into the nevermore, shattering the stone half and effectively killing it.

"That was close, what was it?" She mumbled, shocked and tried to feel it again and succeeded.

"Whatever this power is, I need a new spear and to train it" she answered her own question silently. Too tired to make a new spear, she went back to sleeping.

Next morning she ate the rest of the strawberries, made a new spear and reached under the back of her shirt to gently remove the remains of her red cloak, the last present from her mother. After hugging it for a while, she secured it on her back and continued travelling in the same direction as yesterday.

She was making a short burst of her semblance to cover as much of the terrain as she could, while evading any grimm bigger than a beowolf one. She also managed to hunt down a rabbid on her way and she kept traveling with it in her hand, for dinner.

After a couple of hours she stopped seeing it was getting dark and prepared a fireplace. Using the same trick on stone as the one she used on a branch to make a spear, she managed to get a sharp knife. Now there was a problem with starting a fire, but Ruby managed to recall how her father instructed both her and Yang in the garden about making a fireplace.

She placed one stick on the ground and second in her hand and tried to rub them together, but failed badly due to lack of hand. If she cannot rub them that way, then she could always go up and down with a stick and for that the only thing she needed was a hole, which was easily created by her semblance and she kept abusing it to make the stick go up and down very fast and starting fire in a couple of moves.

She then decided to remove rabbid head and fur with a knife. After doing so, she speared the remains and held it carefully above the fire, cooking it for a long time, as the possibility of getting food poisoning wasn't a good thing.

It took Ruby about an hour and half to remove it from the fire to let it cool down for a moment before eating it. She missed potatoes, herbs, or rice to go with food, but for beggars there is no choice she thought for a moment.

Couple of days she spent traveling while gaining her survival skill and training her eye power. She even managed to freeze a couple of grimm, before killing them. Now in front of her was a village, but she decided to wait until nightfall to go inside, as she was scared of what kind of people would be inside.

Waiting outside until the clock tower showed eleven pm and stores were closed with empty streets inside, she entered it. The sign showed her that the name of the village was 'Geldmass' and signs 'No faunus allowed' in front of shops told her that this place was bad for her kind. Using that as an excuse, she broke into a couple of shops, without triggering an alarm, by 'removing' part of the window and entering inside.

It was an easy job, which resulted in her acquiring lien from cash registers, bandage for her arm with couple of medicines, backpack, maps of local area, atlas and remnant, which on one of them, she marked the localization of the mine, by finding a mountain named 'fire peak'. Ruby managed to find its name accidently from one of the officials talking it out loud.

In the supply shop, she had stolen food supplies for her road and in the weapons store she had gotten a small one handed pistol and a couple of magazines full of dust rounds. Ruby then approached the final target in this village. A dust store stood up lonely in front of her and she came to one of its windows, when she realized something was missing. After a moment she realized that this was the only ship with no signs of forbidding faunus from entering, so she decided to leave it alone, hoping that the owner isn't a racist person.

She then checked the map on one of the building's roof and unpacked the compass, leaving the empty box next to her.

"So I am here. That's a Mantle city, so there I might be able to find the white fang and tell them about mine. That's a big distance to cower, but I have no choice. I need warmer clothes, as summer is ending soon in this continent"

After breaking back into the clothing store and stealing some clothes for her, Ruby embarks into her journey to Mantle following the directions from map and compass, leaving a lot of people to have a bad day with their stores broken into and having their windows destroyed.

A week later with snow falling from the sky, Ruby reached the walls of Mantle and entered its slums, which were hosting a lot of faunus people. Looking around for any signs of white fang activity in the area or any suspicious marks.

After an hour of searching, she found claw marks on a wall pointing in a certain direction. Following it into another set of marks and repeating its process, Ruby reached an old storage and entered inside. Inside she saw a group of people with grimm themed masks on them.

One of them stood up and started walking to her saying "child this is not a place for playing hide and seek, leave now and forget about this place"

"Hey, come here and sit. Tell us what happened to your arm" another faunus with panda ears called her seeing that right sleeve was mostly empty.

Ruby passed by the first member, who let her through and sat, removing her winter clothes in order to show the stump with half burnt tattoo of number 83 and proceeded to tell her tale.
