It didn't take the Autobots long to reach the central core layer of the planet. Now they were looking for the key and the place it was hidden in. And while that was going on, Scourge and Evac were talking about how they could try and win Lancex over and have him be their mate. "We could just mate with Lancex so that he could see we were meant to be with him and no one else" Scourge mentioned.
"I am not sure if that is the best idea" Evac replied, not exactly keen on Scourge's plan, "we should take him on dates and such and show him that we can be good mates for him to bond too. He needs to be able to choose us, not be forced to choose us."
Scourge could only nod, as Evac was right. They didn't want to drive Lancex off, and forcing the bots hand would likely do just that. "And, as Lancex indicated, we need to get Optimus' blessing to pursue Lancex before we go any further." Evac nodded and they agreed on that much before returning to the business at hand of finding the last key.
Meanwhile, Lancex was topside and was still near the ship where the cons had been secured. Lancex realized he was alone and for once, he was glad. He found a quiet spot and sat down, tired from all his exertions.
Once seated comfortably, he began to meditate. And as he did that, he was taken deep into his own mind scape and met up with the spirit of his sword ryu. Ryu asked his friend what troubled him so, and Lancex revealed about finding his brother again, the war here, meeting the Autobots, specifically Scourge and Evac, and the feelings that Lancex now felt. Lancex wasn't sure if what he felt was real or right.
Ryu nodded before asking, "Do Scourge and Evac make you happy when you spend time with them?" Lancex nodded and revealed the feelings he had for the bots and how they seemed to make him feel. Lancex also mentioned he wondered if they would make good mates for him. Ryu smiled at Lancex before saying, "There is your answer. You know how you feel. You should be honest with them about how you feel and such and see where things go from there." Lancex was stunned, but thanked his friend before walking off. Ryu smiled and shook his head before returning from whence he had come. Lancex knew what he needed to do, once Optimus blessed the idea – he needed to seek out Scourge and Evac and let them know exactly how he felt.
