As the ark made its way towards Primus, Snarl and Crosswise met up with Evac and Scourge. "I can't believe the war is nearly over. Do you have any plans once this war is over?" Crosswise stated. Evac and scourge didn't answer immediately but did blush, as their minds went to think of Lancex. Snarl quickly noticed the pair blushing and he had a good idea who or what had caused them to blush.
"We wanted to help you two out, so we went and chatted with Lancex" Snarl revealed. Scourge and Evac looked to Snarl. "We asked him about his plans and what he thought about having mates, and even about you guys. We learned some interesting things."
"Oh?" Asked Evac, not sure if that sounded good or bad.
"Yes, we asked about what he thought about having a mate" Crosswise added.
"And?" Scourge asked.
"He said he always hoped to have a family but thought no one would ever love him" Snarl replied.
"He isn't an unlovable bot. Very few if any are that" Evac replied instinctively.
"We both asked him about you two respectively" crosswise added.
"And what did he have to say?" Scourge asked, very curious.
"Well, the gist of it is that he doesn't feel like he is good enough for you two and that you both deserve someone better than him. He seems to lack confidence" Snarl added, feeling bad for the pair
"It looks like we have our work cut out for us, Scourge" Evac replied. Scourge could only nod. They both hoped that they could still win Lancex's spark. Evac and Scourge began to figure out how to ask Optimus for his blessing to bond with Lancex.
Meanwhile, away m that group, Landmine and Jetfire talked a bit. They wanted to try to come up with a plan to seduce Optimus once the war was over. They came up with many different ideas, but they knew the simpler the plan the better the result would be. Soon, they came up with the perfect plan.
Elsewhere, they were quickly approaching Primus. Optimus ordered the others to prepare for landing aboard Primus. Optimus could only hope that they hadn't arrived too late, as they had worked so hard to win this war and losing was not an option. Now that they had all four keys and the lock, they wondered just how they would work to shut the black hole.
