Meanwhile near the concert…
"I didn't need you then, asshole! I don't need you now" said Loona.
Blitzø looked at her with hurt eyes.
"Sir, what is the point of all of this" Moxxie asked him.
"What do you mean "what's the point of all of this" Moxxie" Blitzø asked him.
"This is all just stupid and pointless" he replied.
"No, it isn't" said Blitzø.
"We're doing all of this over a parking space! It's childish" said Moxxie.
"No, it's not. First come, first serve, Moxxie. That's how it works" said Blitzø.
"He does have a point, Moxxie" said Millie.
"Also, why didn't you think of getting us human disguises before" Moxxie asked him.
"I don't know. It fucking slipped my mind" he replied.
"Yeah, right. It slipped your mind that we need something as important as human disguises for our missions. I swear sometimes I feel like this is all just a massive waste of time" said Moxxie.
Blitzø was silent and looked hurt.
"Moxxie" Millie snapped at him.
"Well, it is" he said.
Suddenly…
FLASH!
Red lightning flashed in the sky and thunder was heard as a strong wind began to pick up. Everyone was shocked as dark storm clouds instantly covered the clear sky. A large hole soon opened in the clouds, an eerie red light coming from it.
Suddenly, from the hole came down a gigantic black and red bipedal dragon that looked monstrous and evil. It stood at 40 feet tall with two gigantic wings and it had markings on its body, one of which appeared to be the insignia for Negative Energy Magic. It had six eyes, four larger horns and a pentagram on its forehead. There were a line of spikes going down from the back of its head all the way down to its tail, which ended in what appeared to be a scorpion stinger. There were also four tentacles that came out its back that ended in snake heads with glowing red eyes and sharp jagged teeth. This monstrous and demonic dragon was Nightfright himself.
He landed in the water with a loud thud and everyone just froze and stared at him.
"I heard that there was a party going on here, but I didn't know that there would also be a gathering of circus animals" he said.
In his full demon form, his voice was not only demonic but deep and booming. It was silent as everyone just stared at him with wide eyes in silence.
"Silent and staring like deer in headlights. How cute" he said.
He then released a shockwave of red energy from his right hand that sent everyone in front of the stage flying back, knocking some of them out.
"Hey! Why did you do that?! Who the fuck are you" Verosika shouted.
Nightfright ignored her and took another good look around. He grinned before his two upper snake arms opened wide and began to fire beams of red energy into the crowds. People began running for their lives and screaming their heads off as Nightfright laughed maniacally.
"Pathetic" he said.
Verosika quickly got together with Vortex and the rest of her crew. Outraged, she stepped out to where Nightfright could see her.
"Hey! Who do you think you are?! Do you know who I am" she shouted.
Nightfright remained silent as he leaned in closer.
"I do and I do not care" he said.
He turned around to continue his rampage until he heard the sounds of sirens approaching.
"Well, well, well" he said.
Several Cop cars arrived and several cops got out. Their eyes were wide as even they were shocked at what they were looking at.
"Funny, I expected more. Oh wait? No I didn't. Why would I ever expect more from a bunch of pigs" Nightfright asked.
One of his snake arms opened wide and fired at them. The Cop cars blew up, killing a few of them and sending the rest flying.
"Ha! Too bad for you, I'm not human! Well, not anymore" he said.
Verosika and her crew looked puzzled by that, wondering what this dragon meant by that until Verosika saw the insignia on his chest and she realized who this demonic dragon was.
"Nightfright" she muttered in confusion.
Nightfright quickly decided that enough was enough and that he would destroy that entire side of the town in one fell swoop.
"Alright! Enough is enough! It's time for you all to meet your end" he said.
All four snake arms began charging up to fire as a glowing orb of black and red energy appeared in front of his chest and the inside of his mouth started to glow red.
"Everyone duck and cover" said a human.
"SAY YOUR FINAL GOODBYES" Nightfright shouted.
He then fired everything he got at full strength, destroying everything in sight. I.M.P, Verosika and her crew all ducked for cover, but unfortunately one of the blasts struck right in front of where Blitzø was hiding. An explosion sent him flying backwards and he hit his head on a rock, knocking him out cold.
While enjoying the carnage from high up in the sky, Scarlett spotted him.
"What the" she uttered.
She quickly flew down to him, noticing that he was out cold.
"What the fuck is an imp of all demons doing here? Nightfright needs to see this" she thought.
She snapped her fingers and opened a portal back to the base. A few Living Nightmares came through, consisting of two nightmare saber tooth tigers, two nightmare dilophosaurs and two nightmare raptors.
"Take him to the back and keep him there until we get back. If he wakes up, knock him out again" she ordered.
The two nightmare saber tooth cats grabbed Blitzø and dragged him away, the nightmare raptors and dilophosaurs right behind them as the portal closed.
Scarlett quickly flew up to the top of a nearby building and waved at Nightfright. He saw her waving at him and he got one more look around before left. It was chaos with that part of the city nothing but red fire and ruble.
"Consider this payback, worthless insects" he said.
He spread his wings and took off into the sky, disappearing above the same clouds he appeared from as red lightning flashed a few more times before all the black clouds disappeared. A minute later he landed in front of Scarlett unnoticed, back to his normal demon form and exhausted.
"How…how did I do" he asked her.
"You did great, honey. I'm so proud of you" she replied.
They both smiled at each other before they kissed.
"So, why'd you wave me down" he asked her.
"There's something you gotta see. Come one" she replied.
She snapped her fingers and opened a portal back to their base. They walked through it and it closed behind them as the sky became clear again and everything was silent once more.
Everyone soon came out of hiding and were shocked at the amount of destruction that dragon had caused.
"Man, that was crazy" said Vortex.
"What was that evil thing" Moxxie asked.
"Ugh! I think I know" Verosika growled.
"Really? What was it" Kiki asked her.
"Let's just say I'm going to be paying someone in Hell a visit" she replied.
"Oh" her posse uttered.
Once they were all together Millie quickly noticed it.
"Wait a minute, where's Blitzø" she asked.
They all looked around and Blitzø was nowhere to be found.
"That's odd? Where did he scurry off to" Verosika asked.
They began to look around the debris and call out to him.
"Blitzø" Millie called out.
"Blitzø, come out! This isn't funny" Loona called out.
"Where are you" Moxxie called out.
They looked around for a few minutes but couldn't find a sign of Blitzø anywhere. It was like he disappeared into thin air.
"I hate to cut your little search party short, but I think it's best you three leave. It's obvious that Blitzø isn't here" said Verosika.
"You don't know that" said Millie.
"In the end that dragon fired everything it had. You think one those blasts got him" Josh asked.
I.M.P. were silent and wide eyed after hearing that. Blitzø being dead was something they didn't want to find out, especially at this time.
"DON'T! Do not say that" Millie shouted.
"Well, it's clear that he isn't here. So you three should probably head on back to Hell" said Verosika.
I.M.P. wanted to protest but they quickly realized that Verosika was right. They had to leave and that Blitzø wasn't there, he was gone. Once they got back to the office, they were all silent and worried about Blitzø, almost depressed.
Millie was concerned as her boss just disappeared without a trace after what happened.
Moxxie regretted berating Blitzø after they nearly died, he was just frustrated and didn't mean to say any of those things to him.
Loona acted like she didn't care as much but it was eating her. The thought of her adoptive father, the person who saved her from a horrible place and the only person that cares for her being gone…dead, really hurt her. Especially after what she said to him before everything went down.
"Moxxie…what are we gonna do? What are we gonna tell Stolas if he calls us" she asked him.
"I…I don't know. I just…don't know" he replied.
