A girl sniffled and wiped her tears away.

"Please, take care of him." She pleaded through the phone.

"You're coming back home, right?"

"I don't know if I can, I have to work." She said before ending the call.

She placed her phone back in her pocket and wiped her tears away once more.

"Are you alright, darling?" The girl jumped in shock at the sudden presence behind her.

"Madame, it's just you." The girl chuckled nervously as she face her blue-haired boss.

"Juvia's sorry to startle you but is everything alright, I heard you crying earlier." The woman said in pure concern for her employee.

"Well, I'm actually gonna ask you if it's possible to increase the money being sent to my family."

"Is there any reason for this? the money I send them works for them just fine, it's enough to pay for and everything and there's enough allowance for them to spend on anything they want."

The girl took a deep breath before speaking. "My little brother was sent to the hospital last night, he's got cancer."

"Oh, dear." Juvia gasped. "I'm so sorry. Do you have to go, because I'll definitely allow it,"

The girl shook her head. "There's no need for that, I have to work tonight."

"Nonsense." Juvia pushed her body and led her back to where the girl's rooms were. "Your little brother means a lot to you, your family is the reason why you work for me in the first place. It would be stupid if you did not go, and I'm definitely not gonna let you wallow here in despair, just pack your bags and I'll take care of the rest."

"But Madame-"

"No buts, just go."

The girl thanked the woman before proceeding to her room.

Alina placed all of Yana's luggage in the trunk of the car as the girl prepared for their departure.

"Madame, you really don't have to come with me," Yana said.

"Yana, our contract states that in exchange for your services, I'll be taking care of your family's financial needs, your brother has cancer, and I need to be there to sign the papers for the payment procedures of the hospital and I'll probably move him to a much better one if the hospital he was sent wasn't suitable." Juvia smiled. "Besides, It'll be nice to meet your family."

The girl sniffled and unconsciously gave Juvia a big warm hug. The blunette is rather startled by this.

"Thank you so much." The girl smiled. "You're the best boss ever."

Juvia smiled and gently caressed the girl's hair. "Take your time, stay with your family as much as you want, I forbid you to come back when you're not at your 100%. But you do need to come back."

The girl chuckled. "I'll come back at my 100%, I promise."

Juvia smiled. "Shall we." she led Yana to enter the car and sat in the backseat of the car as she sat in the driver's seat.

"Alina, you're in charge while I'm gone, also tell the boss I won't be able to work today," Juvia said before leaving with Yana.

Yana sighs contently as she watches the scenery pass by.

"How are you feeling?" Juvia asked, her eyes focused on the road.

"A lot better." Yana nodded.

"Thant's good." The blunette smiled.

That smile. Yana always wonders, how that beautiful loving smile of hers is mixed with such sadness in her eyes.

"Madame, can I ask you something?" Yana unconsciously spoke.

"Anything."

"Why are you so kind to us? I mean you work in the mafia, our feelings and wellbeing should be the least of your concern."

"It's quite simple really." Juvia started. "You girls would do anything to make your loved ones happy. Even if it means selling your entire being to the watering mouths of all the filthy bastards of the world. You would do anything to give them a good life because you love them, and love makes you do crazy things."

Yana exhaled sharply. "I never thought of it that way."

Juvia smiled once more, and Yana still catches a hint of sadness in her eyes. Why is it always there?

Dark clouds surround the Lockser manor. Men and women in dark clothes filled the building as they mourned.

"Condolences my dear." A figure approached the blue-haired lady in a black dress.

The lady smiled and greeted the man. "Mr. Yakov."

"How are you feeling?" Yakov asked.

"Terrible." The lady lowered her head and sniffled.

"Juvia, darling, don't blame yourself."

"How can I not, my parents died because of me, because I'm too weak." Juvia sniffled.

"It's not that." Yakov slowly sat next to her. "They did what any parent would do. They protected you because they love you."

Juvia exhales sharply. "Well, that sucks."

"Unfortunately, loves makes you do crazy things."

Back to the Present

Loud noise filled the nightclub. The blue-haired assassin sipped on her champagne.

"What's on your mind, child?" Yakov approached her.

"I wanna give mom and dad a visit," Juvia spoke.

"I'm going home, would you care to join me, Mr. Yakov."

"I would love to my dear." Yakov smiled.

Juvia's parents died 7 years ago and that is when she flew back to Fiore and reopened the nightclub. She has never come back ever since. She blamed herself for her parents' deaths for the longest time, and that manor is filled with so many memories that it hurt her to even stay. Until now, it's time to come back.

Gray saw a blue envelope in his mailbox, he chuckled, knowing who the sender was. He placed the other letters aside and opened the blue envelope. His heart dropped at the words that were written on the parchment sheet.

My Dear Gray-sama,

To be honest, I have thrown hundreds of drafts of this letter. I don't know where to start, so I'll go straight to the point. I've been considering going back home. I've avoided it for the longest time and I want to push it behind me and have some closure. I'm leaving, and this is the main reason why I'm writing this letter to you. I can't possibly tell you this news without breaking down in tears. I just need a month or two. I need to fix everything back there, give mom and dad a visit, and maybe renovate the manor. I love you and you know that, so, don't worry. I will certainly come back.

Yours and only yours
Juvia Lockser,
