A week later, Lancex was out and about, just a few megamiles outside of the quarters where he and his brother each lived with their respective mates. Lancex had much on his mind, about both his mates and his brother. While out and about, Ryu came forth on his own, which the dragon bot could do if he sensed Lancex needed it. Lancex talked with the dragon for a bit and Ryu listened before redirecting Lancex back to where he now resided.

Shortly after that, Optimus and the others saw Lancex return to where they resided. They were as happy as they were concerned to see the bot return. "I feel like I need to show you all something" Lancex revealed.

The others nodded in understanding yet also in confusion. "Please show us" Optimus encouraged his brother, hoping that this would be something that wouldn't harm anyone.

At that, Lancex grabbed his katanas, crossed them above his head and called out, "come to me, oh dragon of the twilight, Ryu." And with a sudden, intense white light flash, a huge dragon soon appeared. It was strangely colored, with one wing black and one wing white but it's body was various shades of blues and greens. The others were understandably nervous at seeing this bot.

"What is this great dragon you have brought forth?" Optimus asked.

"Not a what, but who. This is Ryu, and he is my spirit sword that I earned in that other world I was sucked into long ago" Lancex revealed.

And while the others came closer and tried to pet the dragon, Optimus held back. It wasn't that he feared the dragon. It wasn't that at all. It was that Optimus felt awful that he thought his older brother was weak and needed to be protected. Lancex was obviously much stronger than Optimus realized. Once again, Optimus felt unneeded and without saying anything, Optimus silently walked off, with only Ryu seeing the Prime go. But Ryu didn't say anything, as he wasn't sure it was place.

Shortly after that, Lancex told his and Optimus' mates more about Ryu, and it was only then that the others realized that Optimus was missing. Lancex was saddened, as it was obvious that something still bothered his brother. Lancex wanted to go, but Ryu held him back. Lancex didn't understand, but Ryu indicated that this was for him to handle. Lancex nodded and let the dragon bot go, hoping that this would help Optimus in the long run.
