Hey, everybody. Back with another chapter.

Let's get to it.

Chapter 13- The Truth

"You're sure about this, Anakin?"

Anakin sighs as he sits down on the couch again. After waking up the morning after his vision from Revan, Anakin had called Obi-Wan to his and Padme's apartment.

"Master, once again, I am positive about this," Anakin persists.

"You realize how this sounds right?" Obi-Wan asks.

"Yes, I do, Master. But it's all true," Anakin insists.

"But how could Revan speak to you over 3,000 years after his death?" Obi-Wan asks.

"I don't know exactly how. But Revan said when he died, with all he had been through, he became one with the Force, and the Force was able to sustain his spirit. I know it sounds like it may have just been a dream, but it seemed way too real, Master. I just know in my heart that this was Revan actually speaking to me," Anakin says.

"But why you? No offense, but why you and now?" Obi-Wan asks.

"I don't know why, but Revan said one of his reasons for maintaining his spirit was to guide me. He said I'm destined to bring an end to the Sith," Anakin says.

Obi-Wan is quiet for a moment before saying, "Alright, Anakin. I'm choosing to believe you. If you want to present this to the Council, I'll support you all the way."

Anakin smiles. "Thank you, Master," he says gratefully. He is quiet for a moment before he stands up and says, "Alright. Let's head to the Temple."

(a few hours later)

In the Council Chamber high above the streets of Coruscant, Anakin is waiting anxiously for the last few members of the Council to join the meeting. All but Master Tapal and Master Windu have assembled, and the Council is waiting on the last two masters.

As Anakin has been waiting, he's been agonizing over how to explain this to the Council. He knew that most of the Council, except maybe Yoda, would not be so easy to convince of his vision and Revan's words as Obi-Wan was. Even now, he's still running through variations of his speech in his head, trying to nitpick everything and make sure it would be as convincing as possible.

Suddenly, he hears, "Good. Now that we are all here, I would like to turn the time over to Master Skywalker to discuss the topic he has called us here to discuss." Anakin looks up, and sees that while he had his head down while running over his speech to the Council, Master Tapal and Master Windu had arrived and Master Windu had started the meeting.

Anakin shakes his head a bit to clear his head a bit and says, "Yes, sorry Master Windu. I was deep in thought."

Anakin looks around at the Council and begins to speak, saying, "What I'm about to tell you will sound unbelievable, so I just ask that you wait until I'm finished before commenting." He pauses, then says, "Last night, I was just starting to fall asleep when I suddenly had a vision. Not a dream, but a vision. I was suddenly in a bright, empty space, and a figure was standing in front of me. When I asked who it was, he revealed his face and told me that he was the spirit of the great Jedi Revan."

The members of the Council look at Anakin at shock, but true to Anakin's request, don't say anything yet. Anakin continues, "I spoke to him, and was able to confirm it was indeed Revan. He spoke to me and told me he had been watching me my whole life, and that one of the reasons his spirit remained was to guide me in this day, because it is my destiny to destroy the Sith. He told me that Palpatine is the culmination of a thousand years of Sith preparation and growth, and that he intends to bring about the return and complete domination of the Sith Empire. He ended our discussion by telling me clues to where Palpatine has been hiding, allowing me to figure out the identity of the planet where Palpatine has been hiding."

The Council is quiet for several long moments before Yoda finally speaks up and says, "And where is this planet, Master Skywalker?"

"Palpatine is hiding on Dromund Kaas, the former capitol of the Sith Empire. Considering himself the rightful heir to the legacy of the Sith, he intends to rebuild the Sith Empire from its former capitol," Anakin says.

"You are sure of this?" Plo Koon asks.

"Absolutely. The clues Revan gave me…they all add up to Dromund Kaas. And it just makes sense," Anakin insists.

"But how do we know this was a true vision?" Shaak Ti asks skeptically.

"I know, it sounds crazy. But it's not like Revan has survived crazy stuff before. We all know the story, and we know the feats he has achieved in the Force. Is it so crazy to believe that he might have been able to maintain his spirit?" Anakin persists.

The Council is quiet for a moment before Obi-Wan says, "I think, after everything that happened recently, Anakin would not lie to us. We all know how strong Anakin is with the Force. I think if anyone was to receive such a vision, it would be Anakin."

"Master Skywalker, are you certain this was a true vision? Not just a dream or hallucination, but a true vision from the spirit of a long dead Jedi? Are you truly certain?" Mace asks.

Anakin looks right into Mace's face. "Master Windu, the only thing I'm more certain of is that I love Padme and my children. I could feel it through the Force. This was a true vision, and Revan truly spoke to me," he insists.

Everyone is quiet for a moment before Yoda speaks up and says, "Believe Master Skywalker, I do."

"As do I. And his guess makes sense. I believe it is worthwhile to pursue this," Plo Koon adds.

"As do I," Mace adds after a moment.

Slowly, the rest of the Council begins to agree with Anakin, with some still not convinced of Anakin's vision, but agreeing that it's worth it to check out Dromund Kaas.

Finally, after it's clear the Council more or less agrees that Dromund Kaas may be Palpatine's hiding place, Mace speaks up and says, "I will travel to the Senate Building and speak with Chancellor Organa. If I can convince him that this is worth it, we will begin preparing for an all out assault on Dromund Kaas."

All of the Council is quiet, considering the magnitude of this. With the force they will have to send in case that Dromund Kaas is in fact Palpatine's hiding place, this battle could end up being one of the biggest of the Clone Wars. But if not, they'll be back to square one.

The outcome of the Clone Wars rest on Anakin's hunch.

And, I'll end there. Hope you liked this one.

So, next one will show the preparation for the battle, and then we'll get to the assault on Dromund Kaas, which will be at least two chapters.

Chapter 14 will be up soon. Until it is up, please leave a review, and stay tuned!
