Peter Parker is eating breakfast with his Aunt May, his five-year-old sister Teresa and his Uncle Ben while watching a news report by the Daily Bugle owner J. Jonah Jameson ranting about our time of need last year. The Justice League failed to show when Loki and his Chitauri army invaded that offers a team of heroes rise to call That calls themselves, the Avengers. They stop the invasion but not without casualties of seventy-four people dying in the attack.
J. Jonah Jameson explained how a group of companies supports rebuilding work in New York, including Tony Stark's Invincible Ironman and billionaire Bruce Wayne.
"That man took the cake. It's not the League's fault they couldn't be present during the battle for New York. I think Jameson will always turn on the Avengers if they screw up. Just like when the League failed to save his son, his future daughter-in-law and crew in the shuttle disaster." Said, Ben.
"After what happened to his wife, Jameson does it out of frustration, becoming angry at those he holds responsible for losing his only son, who died in a shuttle malfunction that destroyed the shuttle," said May.
"I know, May, but what more could the League do? None of them expected LexCorp's shuttle to break as it did. If Jameson wanted to be mad at someone, he should be mad at Lex for producing such garbage," said Ben.
"Language Ben, their impressionable children are present," May informed.
"So sport, are you ready for the Gloud Pharmecutical field trip?" asked Ben.
"Yeah, it should be interesting to see where Aunt May and Uncle Ben worked before their deaths and see if that's somewhere I want to work when I've finished college; they have some top-rate scientists working there, like Doctor Curt Connors and his wife. They have written many excellent papers on limb growth. This includes Doctor Kirk and his wife Francine Langstrom who are working to create a cure for deafness with no painless surgery. In addition, Doctor Otto and his sister Oliver Octavius. I wonder if they are scientists I met at Science Camp when I was Ten. I hear they are doing some incredible things with cybernetics or something; the list is endless," said Peter with excitement in his voice.
"So what's the plan for after school?" asked Ben.
"I will be helping M.J. with her report for the school newspaper, and she needs my helping hand with the scientific mumbo jumbo, as she calls it. "She hopes it will lead to a job with Daily Bugle," said Peter.
"Pete and M.J. sitting in a tree with their KISSING, first come love, then come marriage, then something else", sang Teresa.
"Nonsense, the two of us are just friends. She does not see me that way, wait, does she?" So asked Peter, thinking about all the times M.J. was dropping hints about taking me out on dates; he missed them.
"Pete and M.J. sitting in a tree kissing, first love, then marriage, then something else", sang Teresa again and started making kissing sounds at Peter.
"I think Parker's dreaded luck makes all Parker men blind to women's feelings for them. They become practically clueless and need big neon signs above their heads before they get it," said May.
"Hey there, no such thing. Did I not ask you out for the homecoming dance?" asked Ben.
"Yeah, and how many people besides Ben told you to ask me out before you got the message that I liked you?" asked May, to which both Teresa and Peter laughed.
"Should you be heading for Gloud Pharmaceutical Sport? You don't want to be late for your school trip and spend quality alone time with Mary Jane," asked Ben.
"Pete and M.J. sitting in a tree kissing one another, first come love, then come marriage, then something else", sang Teresa.
"Cut that out, Teresa," said Peter
"Why, if you and Mary Jane are around, I get two cool older sisters to hang around with," said Teresa, making kissing faces. "Pete and M.J. sitting in a tree with a KISSIGNING attitude, first come love, then come marriage, then something else", sang Teresa.
Ben laughed as he stood up, walked over to May, and kissed her.
"Gross," said Peter and Teresa in unison.
"Peter, you stay out of trouble, sport," said Ben as he walked over to the kitchen counter and picked up a police badge and placed it into the top of his suit jacket pocket, so the badge number was visible. 616.
07: 50 Am Ford Mustang
On Route Oscorp Industries.
In a Ford Mustang car, fourteen-year-old Barbara Gordon is playing with her cell phone while her dad drives towards Arboc Industries, passing several pro Justice League signs, thank you, Avengers, and many anti-Justice League signs.
"What do you have planned for after the Gloud Pharmecutical tour, pumpkin?" asked James.
"Nothing much, dad, but helping Gwen with our science project for the Horizon Academy entrance exam. It is a chance for us to get a full scholarship, but with some major rivals, our projects need to be flawless, with us competing against Hope Van Dyne and her amazing shrinking tech," said Barbara.
"Van Dyne, any relationship to Janet Van Dyne and Dr Hank Pym?" asked Detective Gordon.
"I think she's Hank and Janet, daughter of The Justice Society members Antman and Wasp," said Barbara.
So are you able to tell me what you are working on with Gwen?" asked Detective Gordon.
"So you are not avoiding attempting out late at night, pumpkin?" asked Detective Gordon.
"I am not sure I could even be a hero considering my condition," said Barbara.
"You never know until you try pumpkin," said Detective Gordon.
"I just don't know," said Barbara.
Just then, the car stopped. Barbara looked up from her cell phone and saw the school bus drive away without picking up Peter Parker, standing there in shock.
"Do you need a ride, kid?" asked James.
"If it's not too much trouble Mister Gordon, I don't want to be late for the start of the Gloud Pharmecutical Tour," said Peter.
"Hey Peter, the school bus refuses to pick you up again," Barbara said.
"Yeah, I was a second late to the bus stop and sped before I could even
Bang on the side of the bus," said Barbara.
"You should report Carrigan. She should not be allowed to leave students on the streets, especially with these random abductions. No child is safe," said James.
"I don't want her to lose her job; she recently lost her daughter and husband in a police shootout, and I don't want to add to that mess of her losing her job, Mr. Gordon," said Peter.
"It is still wrong to leave students just because she is suffering a tragedy because of some unprofessional cops," said James

Ford Mustang On Route to Gloud Pharmaceuticals
Inside a beat-up red Ford Mustang, Detective Madeline Watson is a white woman in her late thirties; she has short red hair in a smart-looking style; and is wearing a dark blue suit. She had a police badge hanging around her neck; had 665 on her badge, and was wearing a pair of glasses; in the back of the police car was fourteen-year-old Mary Jane Watson, who was dressed in a pair of denim overalls, a pair of trainers, and a pink T-shirt. She had shoulder-length red hair and was busy reading a science book.
While fourteen-year-old Charlie was wearing black denim jeans, a pair of Reebok trainers, a black T-shirt, a black leather jacket, a pair of fingerless gloves and a pair of glasses and reading a history book.
"Hey, honey, I was wondering if you mind sleeping at the Parkers tonight as I've got to work a steak out with my partner. We are trying to bust the illegal Metahuman Brawl and arrest Veronica Sinclair," replied Officer Watson.
"No problem, mum," said Charlie
"Sure, no problem, mum. It would be an excellent chance to finish my report for school and catch up on my and Peter's science project, so who is your date so I know who's ass to kick if they break your heart?" said M.J.
"Don't worry, if M.J. doesn't, then I will; none is going to hurt you like that dirty bag you used to be married to," said Charlie.
"Her name is Rene. We've been hitting off well since someone forcefully transferred her into Precinct 52, and one thing led to another. We had a few drinks together and ended up in bed together while you were at drama camp for summer vacation," said Officer Watson.
"Hey, it's the 21st century. Do whatever makes you happy, mum; we fully support you in any way, mum," said Charlie
"So cool if she makes you a happy mum, then I'm happy for you," said M.J.
"Your only problem, mum is she ready to take on your two sweet and loving daughters?" asked Charlie.
"I hope so. I believe Rene could be the one," said Officer Madeline Watson
"Then speak to her mum and ask her to marry you," said M.J.
"I will, and thank you for understanding, kids," said Officer Watson.
"Your welcome, mum," said Charlie and M.J. in unison as she put their book into her book bag, with M.J. putting hers into a bag with a Superman™ keychain attached to the bag's zip.
At the same time, Charlie put hers into a bookbag with a Batman™ keychain on the zip as the police car pulled up outside Gloud Pharmaceuticals.
"Have a nice day, honey, and I'll see you tomorrow morning before school," said Officer Watson
"Have a good time on your date, mom," said M.J.
"Not a date, and make sure you're an appropriate girl for the parkers," Officer Watson said.
"I will, mum," said M.J. as she got out of the police car to find Gwen Stacy and Jill Stacy carrying her book bag on her right shoulder.
She wore a punk-like outfit as the police car drove off towards the city centre. While Jill Stacy was wearing a pair of black trousers, fingerless gloves, black shoes, a black T-shirt with N.Y.P.D. printed on it, and a black leather jacket, she had short black hair.

On route,
Lena Luthor sits with her legs crossed, playing with her cell phone opposite Mercy Graves, passing several Anti-Justice League or Pro-Justice League posters.
"So I take it dad is busy masturbating Superman that he didn't have the balls to take me to spy on Gloud himself," asked Lena.
"Yes, your father wants to use your friendship with Harry to get close to Oscorp's secret bioweapons program," said Mercy
"Oh, here I thought dad cared about my life and showed some fucking interest in me. I'm not trying to ruin the only friendship I've got to tell to get someone else to do it," said Lena.
"How will this disappoint your father? I guess he'll have to take the Luthor legacy away from your father." Mercy said in peril.

Harry sits in a luxury Bentley Car alongside his dad, Norman Osborn, driving towards Gloud Pharmaceutical .
"Hey, can you stop the car, Charlie? I want to walk the rest of the front entrance," said Harry.
"Nonsense, why waste your time walking when you can meet the rest of the class and your girlfriend, Lena, inside the building?" said Norman.
"First things first, dad, this is a public school, and Lena and I are just friends. I know you want Lena and me, so you merge Oscorp with Lexcorp to create something that rivals Alechmax," said Harry.
"So you want me to trade in my Bentle for Germlin just because you and your girlfriend have flunked out every private school that you have been sent to is because you have been acting out since your mother's death in the Battle of New York," said Norman
"This hasn't anything to do with my mom's death. They were never for me, and I can't speak for Lena's actions," said Harry
"Of course it was. Don't ever be ashamed of who you are; you are Osborn's future hire of Oscorp Industries," Norman replied.
"I am not ashamed of who I am. But I don't think I have what it takes to live up to your name," Harry said.

Mary Jane and Charlie Watson get out of their mother's patrol car to see Barbara and Gwen holding hands before sharing a kiss in secret. However, Gwen notices M.J. and Charlie as Barbara joins the other students with Gwen walking over to Mary Jane and Charlie.
"What did you see?" asked Gwen with concern in her voice
"We saw nothing; if that concerns you, Gwen, why didn't you tell us you were, you know?" asked Mary Jane.
As a result, we haven't, you know, come out to our parents, or even to the school, and we are still coming to terms with our feelings; please don't tell anyone. Please, we aren't ready to let other people know we have so much in common that it seems right," Gwen said with a genuine spark.
"We promise," said Charlie and M.J. in unison
"Pinkie promises you won't tell anybody about Barbara and me," said Gwen as she held both hands up, holding both Pinkies up with both Charlie and M.J. Pinkie swearing with Gwen simultaneously.
"So Charlie, MJ, how's your mum?" asked Gwen.
"She's fine, Gwen. Is there a class here, or just us?" M.J. asked.
"So far, just you, Me, Charlie, Jill, Barbara, Peter, Miles and Anya Corazon, "answered Gwen.
They are joined by Miles Morales, Barbara Gordon, Jessie Keynes, Bridgette Bradford, and Anya Corazon. They are soon joined by Kara Danvers, Alex Danvers, Kelly Olsen, Jessica Cruz, Michelle Jones, Keemia Marko, Ned Leeds, Liz Allan, Harry Osborn, Anissa Pierce, Lena Luthor, and Flash Thompson. In addition, several other Midtown high schoolers. Jefferson Pierce and other teachers then accompany them as they are soon accompanied at the front entrance of Gloud Pharmaceutical by Dr Adriana Soria.

"Welcome to Gloud Pharmaceutical; you are all the first class to experience the first-ever public tour of Arboc Industries; as you all know, this company was founded by Dylan Gloud." Dr Adriana Soria as she led Midtown high schoolers inside the building.
The Tour of Gloud Pharmaceuticals
Arboc Industries, Financial District New York City
The midtown students are gathered in a large room, watching a large group of scientists working on different spiders, with Peter Parker taking pictures as Dr Adriana Soria.
"There are over 32,000 known species of spiders in the world. They're in the order Araneae divided into three suborders," said Dr Soria.
Peter Parker is looking at pieces of science equipment when Lena Luthor and Harry Osborn join him.
"Hey Harry Lena, this is amazing; this is considered the most advanced electron microscope on the eastern seaboard; it's unreal," said Peter
"You are right; he is smart. I am sure if your father meets him, he will adopt him right away and replace him. Besides, if you see the one that Lexcorp owns, you will be more impressed with that one," said Lena.
"I can already see dad working out a way to adopt him," Harry said.
"Arachnids can be divided into three groups, all possessing varying levels of strength which help them with their constant search. For example,
"Delena Spider Sparasside has the ability to catch its prey," said Dr. Soria
"May we take pictures for school papers?" asked Peter and Kelly Olsen as the two students started taking pictures of the lab and the work going on
"Sure, knock yourself out anyway. Next, we have the net web Spider, family Filistatidae and genus Kukulcania; it can spin an intricate funnel-shaped web whose strands have a tensile strength proportionately equal to that of high tension wire," said Dr. Soria as she showed off a collection of Spiders to the tour.
As Kelly Olsen takes a picture of some Spiders, a group of girls from the midtown cheerleading bump causes her to drop her camera. This is picked up by Peter Parker and handed back to her.
"Thanks, Peter," said Kelly
"Was that called for Lilly Hollister?" Jefferson Pierce asked, "Was that called for Lilly Hollister?"
"What? It is not my fault that the Dyke is a klutz; she should be more careful. I want Peter Parker to take my picture for the school paper," said Lilly
"I don't need a student in my shots; besides, M.J. wants them without students in them, sorry Lilly," said Peter as he returned to taking pictures of Oscorp equipment.
"One more outburst, and they will automatically fail the course. I kid you
A different teacher said, "No."
"Anyway, these grass spiders use specialist reflexes with a nerve-conduction velocity that is so fast some of my research team believe it is almost bordering on precognition that imminent awareness of danger, a Spider-sense if you would."
"Lilly is a bitch," said Kelly.
"Yeah, tell me, are you related to James Olsen, who works for the daily
Planet," asked Peter
"Yeah, he's my stepbrother; he got some amazing shots of the Battle of New York before being killed in the invasion; you know, don't blame Justice League; there must have been a reason why they could be there to stop the Alien invasion at least the Avengers were able to come together to stop Loki's conquest," said Kelly
"I am sorry to hear that he was an excellent photographer. I got some of his photographs of Superman," said Peter
"Hey, look at that spider," said Harry
"There are spiders that can change colour to blend into their environment; it's a defence mechanism," said Gwen
"Gwen, what makes you think I'd want to know something like that?" asked Harry.
"Who wouldn't think spiders would be amazing?" said Alex
Peter notices Kelly is looking at Alex as she starts taking pictures of Alex Danvers and talking with Kara Danvers and Anissia Pierce.
"You gonna talk to her now?" asked Peter.
I can't talk to her; she's way out of my league; she would never consider asking me out," said Kelly.
"You don't know if you don't try to ask her to come study with you," said Peter
"I do this, Peter. You got to ask the redhead out; she has a massive crush on you, and I don't mean the bimbo on the cheerleading squad," said Kelly

So Alex, what's your plan? Are you planning to ask Kelly out?" asked Anissa
"What? Do you think she likes me?" asked Alex
"You are asking someone with superhearing. I can hear Kelly's heartbeat when I am looking lovingly into her sweet, sweet eyes," said Kara
"Oh, you are so loving this aren't you?" asked Alex
"Yeah, pretty much," joked Kara
"She was looking at you through her camera. Man, if I thought I could pick a chick with a camera, I would probably have joined the photographers club a long time ago to ask her out. But, Alex, what is the worst that could happen? You already know she's in, dude. Girls can't be anything more negative than her," said Anissa.
"Okay, I'll do it; wish me luck," said Alex
"Break a leg," said Kara and Anissa. As Kelly started to come over to them and stand in front of Alex with her camera raised
"Hi, I was wondering if you would like me to take your picture for a collection. I am meant for the school newspaper," said Kelly.
"Sure, if you don't make me look ridiculous for the coll, I am for the school paper," teased Alex.
"That's impossible," Kelly said as she started taking pictures of Alex and

The idea was completely impossible," said Dr. Soria, again interrupted by a class of midtown students talking.
"Disgusting creatures," Kara replied; you would fear them. Lena Luthor and Harry Osborn come over to her.
"I don't know, I kind of like them," said Harry
Kara asked, "I still find them creepy, but why has your father sent you to public school anyway?".
"It was probably because he was tired of paying for all my prep school when he could let the state do it instead, and a couple of million dollars on the board made Oscorp look good," replied Harry.
"I am just here because I am an embarrassment to the Luthor name. He's more concerned about his love affair with Superman and destroying his image when he finds me in the cheapest place he could find for his darling daughter," Lena said.
"I didn't know Lex had a daughter," said Kara.
"Yeah, well, what to be expected when he is embarrassed by your actions he has intentionally been expelled for helping other rich kids cheat their exams, or Tag Luthor suck on every," said Lena.
"We can transfer R.N.A. to encode an entirely redesigned genome sequence that can combine all genetic information of these three spiders into these 15 genetically designed Super-spiders," said Dr. Soria.
"There appear to be only 14 spiders," said Gwen
"I beg your pardon? Oh, that's right, one of the most important things in the lab is being researched," said Dr. Soria.
"Do you know that this is the largest electron microscope on the eastern seaboard?" asked Harry
Harry, this doesn't match Lex's in your dreams; it's twice the size to match his oversize ego," said Lena.
"Right, thanks to Mister Osborne and Miss Luthor, who spent all their time talking through the apt Dr Soria presentation that everybody will be doing a pop quiz once we get back to Midtown high school, followed by a 1,252-word written on what Dr Soria has presented here today. If you have a problem take it up with them. We have six more labs to visit before lunch," said the other teacher. With a lot of students cursing them
The students and teacher leave the area, with only Peter Parker staying behind to place a new memory card into his camera when he doesn't notice a spider crawling down from the ceiling; as Peter Parker goes back to taking photos of the equipment, the Spider bites his hand and winces in pain when then tapped on the shoulder by Gwen.
"Hey Pete, you won't believe it, but are you alright? She sees him shaking his hands, dropping the Spider onto her trainer.
"I am fine; something just bit me when I was taking some more shots for M.J.'s report, so what is so critical that you had to come to get me?" replied Peter.
"Let this guy do any more harm, shall we?" asked Gwen as she knelt to pick
The Spider, but the Spider bit Gwen's hand between her thumb and index
Finger, and Spider quickly ran off.
"Son of a bitch, and screw? Did you know Gloud Pharmaceutical hired Doctor Otto Octavius and his sister Dr Oliver Octavius? Are they the same ones we had at a science camp when we were ten? Even now, they still use those cool metal arms," said Gwen
"Are you sure it's them, Gwen?" asked Peter.
"Dude, don't forget seeing those wickedly cool arms or forget the kick-ass sound they make; come, don't you want to see them working, Peter?" replied Gwen as a spider landed on her neck and proceeded to bite
Peter and Gwen walked off towards the tour group, which had stopped outside a lab; two scientists, Dr Otto Octavius and Dr Oliver Octavius, had four metal arms connected to a device around their chest; both were in their late forties.
"It is about time you nerds caught up; maybe we can finally get this snooze fest over with, thanks to Harry and his girlfriend. I am sorry to have missed a cool kick during this snooze fest," said Flash
"Sorry, I got distracted by some of the science equipment. I need some extra shots for M.J.'s news report she is writing," said Peter.
"I don't know why you are wasting time on science mumbo jumbo when you could be writing about a real man," said Flash T.
"When you become a real man, I will do it. Besides, I like science.", said M.J.
Barbara looked over to Gwen, who seemed unwell and staggered to her feet. She started.
"Mister Pierce, is it okay if I take Gwen outside? She looks unwell; some fresh air might do her some good," asked Barbara
"I don't want to miss anything concerning the Octavius presentation. I'll get some fresh air after, okay?" replied Gwen.
"Are you okay, Gwen? Because from here you look like shit?" asked Barbara
"I don't know, I'm just starting to feel like crap," said Gwen.
"Maybe you should find somewhere to sit down before you faint; Barbara can you take her outside?" said Jeff.
M.J. looked at Peter, who was also starting to feel the effects of the spider bite.
"Mister Pierce, I think Peter is unwell as well," said M.J. with extreme concern as Peter struggled to stand and looked like death warmed up.
Before collapsing to the floor, followed by Gwen.
"G.W.E.N.," screamed Barbara in terror as she saw Gwen collapse on the floor and start to convulse on the floor as Mary Jane knelt next to a convulsing Peter.
"Medics, we need medics Now," screamed Dr Soria in a panic state as both Peter and Gwen were convulsing on the floor; as students and teachers gathered and had looks of terror on their faces. "Get me a goddam medic," she screamed in even more terror.
Two Gloud Pharmaceutical scientists run over to Dr Soria and the injured Peter and Gwen Stacey as they continue to convulse on the floor. Classmates are forced to look on in terror.
Five hours later
Gloud Pharmaceutical Medical Lab
Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker come around to find themselves in hospital beds with George Stacy, May and Ben Parker standing in the room as Donald Menken enters.
"Can you tell me what the hell happened to my daughter?" I was told it was safe to visit if needed. I am sure I can get the city to have police investigate what happened here," demanded George
"I would also like to know how this could possibly have happened to my son. I thought Gloud Pharmaceutical, a multimillion-dollar company, could keep track of its experiments," asked Ben.
"Because of an oversight on Dr. Soria's part of leaving one of her experiment cases open, it allowed one of her pet spiders to escape; we have ended her employment, and as a jester of goodwill, Gloud Pharmaceutical will pay for any hospital treatment that could occur," said Menken.
"I can assure you that they will be fine. It has been determined by Dr Soria that all of the spiders that escaped under her research guide are all non-poisonous, so they should consider my unforeseeable side effects," said Mister Menken.
"Can I take my daughter home, or will she need more testing to see if there are no ill effects of the spider bite?" asked George.
"I would also like to know if it's safe to take my son home," asked May.
Peter, May and Ben Parker left the room, followed by Gwen Stacy and her father, George; as Norman Osborn entered the room, Mister Menken looked at a white male in his late forties and was wearing a stylish business Italian made business suit. He had short brown hair and blue eyes.
"I hope you took a blood sample from them before you allowed them to leave the building," enquired the man
According to Mister Menken, Director Gloud, I have seen that the subjects are mutating because I am unsure whether we have successfully triggered a metahuman mutation in them.
"Excellent I want you to transfer Doctor Soria's research to the Island and have Doctor Mindbender experiment on the recruits. Also, keep me on the board of directors. I know they want to replace me with someone who wants to merge the company with either Oscorp or Lexcorp, so I think I need to eliminate the board from the equation and replace them with someone from another company; yes, men," said Director Gloud.
"Hydra would be happy to do it for you as we did with Wayne's murder," said Mister Menken
"No need for that old friend. I have a trusted person to do it. First, I need to secure Gloud Pharmaceutical for a military contract, but Quest will provide Cadmus with a prototype in two weeks. So I need to hurry," said Director Gloud.
"May I ask, sir, what do you want to do with them if they have developed enhanced abilities in Parker boy and Stacy girl?" Mister Menken asked.
As soon as they have gained superpowers, I want Spencer to monitor them and market them to interested parties with enough combat data. I am sure the Master Planner can develop something," said Director Gloud.
"It will be done, sir," said Mister Menken.

Gwen Stacy is sitting on the sofa with Barbara Gordon; both are eating a 10-inch Hawaiian Pizza and drinking bottles of diet while watching a news report of Jameson Ranting about the Justice League.
"Thank you for keeping me company while my dad is still working at the precinct, but knowing we are here makes it all worth the while," said Gwen, blushing when Barbara held her hand.
"I am not sure what I would have done if anything had happened to you when you collapsed. It nearly broke my heart to see you helpless on the floor," said Barbara as she looked at Gwen glancing into her eyes.
"Barbara, I was wondering if you would like to attend to the movies tomorrow. I mean, we don't have to make it as a couple or as just friends," asked Gwen.
"I like that. In other words, we're going out tomorrow just the two of us, and I hope you're well, Gwen. I've already lost a friend; I can't lose you," said Barbara.
"Babs, you can't blame yourself for what happened to Kathryn; she chose to follow in her father's footsteps and become a career criminal, not you," said Gwen.
"She hates me as Batgirl because I put her father in Blackgate where the Punisher murdered him, and as Barbara Gordon, because she got expelled from Gotham City Academy for selling her services as a computer hacker to change people's test grades to more suitable grades," Barbara said.
In response, Gwen inquired, "Is that why you gave up the role of Batgirl? Didn't tell me that?".
"No, that didn't help matters following Kathryn's descent into Villainy Batman had me join the Team to take part in a Virtual Reality training programme that would give us an unwinnable scenario to test us against, in this case, an alien invasion attacking the world, killing off the League, the other team when we witnessed Artemis' death something triggered in Miss Martian that stopped us remembering it was a V.R. mission and when more and more of us died till only Miss Martian and her uncle were left eventually he was able to help her to remember it was a V.R. mission and woke up," said Barbara as she sits down on the sofa.
"Who had the brightest idea to create an unwinnable mission?" wondered Gwen.
"That would be Batman. He thought we needed to have training that kept us on our toes, but that wasn't why I quit being Batgirl, but it was why I left the team. I didn't want to be responsible for keeping the team safe. I was helping Batman track down Jonathan Crane, alias the Scarecrow, and he exposed me to fear toxin, and it gave me a nightmare scenario where I died, and he and my father went after Batman with a vengeance and ended up killing him; after that, it also doesn't help that I found Batman has plans to take down the League, his sidekicks and every superhero in case they go rogue. I just couldn't put on the Batgirl suit again to work along with my condition." Said, Barbara.
"I'm not blaming you, Barbara," said Gwen
"Thanks, Gwen; my dad is also trying to convince me to return and be Batgirl again, but I just can't. Every time I put the costume on, I get nightmares of my greatest fears, and I just completely freeze up, and I can't move, and I have to get out of the costume," said Barbara as Gwen sat next to her on the sofa as they continued to watch the show on the television.
"And I am guessing that's why you moved to New York City, is that the reason?" Gwen asks.
"Yeah, dad thought moving us to an unfamiliar city could rekindle my desire to be a hero again, but I don't know if I can. So I think I'll send my costume and gear back to Batman and focus on just being Barbara Gordon, a Midtown High School student with a super sexy girlfriend," said Barbara.
"Why not let me wear the Batgirl costume? I need a costume for the Halloween dance in two weeks," asked Gwen.
"No, Batman would be mad if I allowed someone to use his equipment, and he hasn't personally chosen to be a part of the team," said Barbara.
Gwen asked, "What do you think, I can't pull off being a sexy Batgirl?".
I think you can be a sexy Batgirl, but if you still want to dress up with me, I need a better idea of what we should wear to next week's Halloween dance unless you have a date," Barbara inquired.
"What's that?" asked Gwen as Barbara leaned over and whispered something into her ear, and a smile crept onto her face. It's no secret that you have a kinky mind, Babs, she told me.
"I know," said Barbara as she kissed Gwen passionately. Gwen placed her hands on Barbara's ass as they continued to kiss after they separated. Gwen found her hands.
"Gwen are you going to remove your hands from my butt?" asked Barbara as she felt Gwen try to remove her hands from her butt, but they wouldn't budge.
"Yeah, I got a problem with that. My hands seem to be stuck. They won't," said Gwen
"Just admit you like holding my ass, don't you?" said Barbara
"I mean nice, but my hands are stuck. I am not joking, I swear," said Gwen as she tried to remove her hands from Barbara's ass, but they wouldn't budge
"Let's give you a hand, shall we?" said Barbara, as she placed a pull around Gwen's wrist, but nothing happened.
Gwen ripped a part of Barbara's jeans off as she pulled her hand free, "And I thought I made the bad pun; we agreed not to tell anyone about this mishap, shall we," she said as she pulled her hand free.
"Agreed, but my puns are cool," said Babara.
"If you say so," said Gwen as she glanced at her hand with the piece of denim stuck to it.
Locker Room, Code Blue unit, Precinct 52

Ben Parker walks into the locker room to see Detective Davis checking his weapon and placing it in his hip holster. Detectives Ellen Yin, Detective Ethan Bennett, Detective Madaline Watson and Detective Renee Montoya join them.
"How is Peter doing? Miles told me what happened on the Gloud pharmaceutical tour?" Detective Davis asked.
Detective Parker said, "when I left Mary Jane, Teresa, Peter had a wonderful evening meal and is being teased by his kid sister about his feelings for M.J."
"It's a pleasure to hear your lovely wife's cooking knocked him out for the night, and thanks for letting Charlie and M.J. spend the night with your wife, Anna, still recovering from the Battle of New York," said Detective Watson.
Detective Parker replied, "No problem, Maddy; M.J. is happy to help watch Peter after the incident a Gloud pharmaceuticals this afternoon."
"You know Ben, Captain Stacy would have covered your shift if you had asked him," said Detective Bennett.
"With a mayor who is keeping the police force demonetised and six prescient units having already been closed, we are short of staff at present," said Detective Parker.
"Every right-wing media hates the police for the corrupt apples because the alleged ones don't report the bad ones," Detective Bennett said.
Detective Parker said, "No, it's not like we don't report them to IAB; it's just that they aren't interested in getting off their assess and investigating the reports we file."
"Yep, I reported two dozen officers who were giving me crap for being a lesbian, and they transferred me the moment they realised it hurt the newly appointed commissioner's image. In addition, I met my upcoming girlfriend, so it wasn't all terrible," said Detective Montoya.
"You don't mind me having two kids, one mutant and one human?" Watson replied.
Detective Montoya replied, "Of course not, as long as your kids don't mind me being your girlfriend and possible future partner."
"They are both happy for me. They want me to be happy, and being with your kinky ass makes me happy," Detective Watson said.
"We finally made you an honest woman out of you," said Detective Parker, which was met with laughter from Davis, Watson, Montoya, Bennett, and Yin.
"Ha-Ha, you're a laugh riot, Ben, but I would like to ask you something if we get married, Ben. Can I ask a favour of you as my father's death would work me down the aisle for my wedding?" replied Detective Watson.
Detective Montoya advised, "ask May if she will cook for the reception; her cooking is to die for.
"Of course, Maddy, I would be delighted to walk you down the aisle, and I am sure Mary would love to cook for your reception Rene," said Detective Parker.
"Thanks, Ben," said Detective Watson and Montoya in unison.
"Will your parents be attending your wedding Rene?" He asked.
"No, when I came out to my parents as a lesbian, they kicked me out and weren't interested in me. If it weren't for an old family friend, Vic Sage, who disagreed with my parents, I would have been on the streets of Hub Street. He trained me to be a master detective," said Detective Montoya
"Vic Sage, as in the Question, former J.S.A. member," asked Detective Yin.
"Yeah, well, like Jay and Stripesy voted against killing Bruce Gordon, the host of an alien creature called Eclipso so that they could imprison him in some kind of crystal," said Detective Montoya.
Just then, Detective Jean DeWolff, Detective Carlie Cooper and Detective Stan Carter entered the Code Blue locker room, followed by Detective Yuri Watanabe.
"I apologise for the interruption, but we need all available officers. It may be a Code Blue situation," said Detective Watanabe.
"What kind of code blue situation is this?" Detective Bennett asked as he inspected his weapon.
"The kind that's foolish enough to target a Chinese Triad business operated by China White," replied Detective Watanabe.
