Mirabel pulled herself up into a sitting position, glancing nervously at the sleeping form of Dolores next to her. She couldn't believe on how much time had truly passed. A week had at first seemed so long, but between meeting her father's side of the family, especially Tia Tina, and everything else they had wanted to do, the week was now almost over. They had spent most of it exploring museums and shops, taking in a play at a theater, and even taking a traditional folk dance lesson as a family.

Of course that didn't mean that there weren't issues. Camilo was still really ornery towards their Abuela, and there had been a few close calls when it came to the gifts. That was mainly Tia Pepa's cloud, but Antonio had been spotted having deep conversations with random animals, and Poor Luisa had channeled their inner father in her and tripped, taking out a light post with her. Luckily no one had been around to see her knock it down.

"You awake, Mira?" a sleepy voice asked as Dolores shifted in the bed.

"Sorry," Mirabel whispered back, "I didn't mean to wake you, I just… I was thinking about this vacation and everything that happened so far. It's hard to believe that it's almost done with."

"Yeah," Dolores said, "Couple more days."

"We're supposed to meet Tita Ana tomorrow," Mirabel said, "What do you think she'll be like?"

"I don't really know, the only thing we really know about her is that she's Abuela's younger sister and she, along with her parents didn't approve of Abuelo Pedro."

"That's why I'm so worried," Mirabel confessed, "I'm Abuelo's heir, Tia Tina said so herself. If she didn't approve of Abuelo, wouldn't that make it so that she won't approve of me."

"Mira, for someone so smart, talented, and magical, you aren't thinking straight," a new voice filtered through the room as Isabela shifted on the other bed to face them better, "You're Abuelo's heir because you inherited his magic. Tita Ana couldn't have possibly known about his magic, so she can't hate you for that one similarity."

"I'll pound her for you if she does say something rude to you," Luisa added.

"You, resort to violence?" Isabela asked, turning to her other sister on the far side of the bed, "Lulu, I think you've been spending way too much time with me."

Dolores snorted at that statement, "Senorita Perfecta, claiming to be a bad influence, now I've heard everything."

Isabela shifted, grabbing her pillow from off the bed and tossing it at her, although she missed and hit Mirabel instead.

"Oh my goodness, Mirabel, I am so sorry, I didn't hurt you, did I?"

Mirabel puckered her lips, sniffled loudly, and nodded sagely.

"I'm so sorry," Isabela exclaimed, jumping up from bed and moving towards her, only for the pillow to meet her, in the face, halfway across the room.

"That was surprisingly easy," Mirabel confessed.

"What no," Isabela exclaimed, "My hair, you ruined it," she exclaimed between giggles, "How am I going to convince everybody that I'm Senorita Perfecta if my hair is…" she was cut off by another pillow being thrown, whacking her in the back of the head.

Mayhem descended on all four of the girls. Mirabel was the first to use her gift, convincing three pillows headed towards her from three different directions that they really wanted to be a part of Isabela's nightgown.

Isabela retaliated by using her vines to flip the bed that Dolores and Mirabel were still in. Luisa had to quickly intervene to make sure that Mirabel hadn't gotten hurt. Which of course, lead to her using her gift.

At that moment there was a knock on the door. Dolores dodged a pillow and a cloud of pollen to see who it was. Probably someone from the hotel, complaining about the noise. She stood on tiptoe to look out the little peephole in the door and winced as she noticed Tio Bruno standing in front of the door.

"Hola Tio," she said softly as she cracked the door open a little bit, "What can I do for you so late at night?"

"Is everything okay?" Bruno asked, "I thought I heard a crash?"

"Yeah, everything is fine," Dolores insisted, as she ducked a pillow that was headed towards her back. It slammed into Bruno's face before dropping to his feet.

"Are you… having a pillow fight?" Bruno asked.

"Yeah..."

"Without me?" he asked, clearly upset, "I thought I was the fun Tio?"

"Are you sure that you want to come in?" Dolores asked, "It's kind of wild in here."

Bruno grinned widely, as he pulled the hood of his rauna up over his face, "My name is Hernando and I am scared of nothing," he insisted, "I wish to join you in your quest to tame your wild roommates."

Pepa sighed as she slowly woke up, enjoying the feel of Felix's arms around her, "Morning mi vida," she said softly, kissing his nose, which he wrinkled at her.

"Ah mi Sol," he said, "It's a beautiful day when I get to wake up to your beautiful face.

"Oh yuck," a voice called out, "Mami, Papi, please, save it until we get home, I don't want to see it."

Pepa and Felix glanced over to the other bed in the room, where Camilo was sitting up, glaring at them.

"You are far too old for this behavior," he insisted.

"You're wrong," Felix insisted, "We're just the right age for it. You are just too young."

"Ugg," Camilo groaned.

Pepa however, frowned, staring over Camilo, "Where's your tio?" she asked nervously.

"I don't know," Camilo said, stifling a yawn, "He was gone when I woke up. I think he might be in the bathroom."

As if to confirm his suggestion, there was a sound of the toilet flushing, and then of someone washing their hands. However it was Antonio who walked out of the bathroom with a frown, "Where's Tio Bruno?"

Pepa looked at Felix in alarm, "He was here when we went to bed last night right?" she asked as the wind outside the hotel picked up dramatically as the sky darkened with clouds, "He… he wouldn't go far would he?"

"I doubt he would," Felix insisted, "He might already be up and downstairs for breakfast," he pointed out, "If you're so worried about him, why don't you go ask Dolores if she can hear him."

"Oh like she hadn't lied to us about where he was for the past ten years," Pepa pointed out as there was a crash of thunder outside.

The crash of thunder woke Dolores up, "Mami's upset," she said softly, pulling herself up from the pile of blankets she had crashed on once they had finally exhausted themselves with the pillow fight.

The place was a disaster zone. The furniture had been tipped over and used to make a blanket fort, Luisa's legs sticking out of it slightly. There was a palm tree in the center of the room, and pollen all over the place, staining the walls and carpet interesting combinations of colors. Dolores wasn't sure what Mirabel had done, but the curtains over the large window were still changing colors every once in a while.

"We're going to have to clean this up," Dolores announced, nervously, "Before anyone sees it," she insisted.

"What even happened last night?" Bruno asked, rubbing his head as he sat up on the far side of the room.

"I don't really remember much after Isabela and Luisa decided to build the blanket fort," Dolores confessed, "If I didn't know better I'd say that we were drunk."

"Sleep Drunk," Mirabel announced from where she was propped up by the palm tree in the center of the room, "We were all so tired that we got super hyper to keep ourselves awake and made some questionable choices," she squinted over at the curtains, "I don't even know how I did that," she admitted, "Or where my glasses are."

"Let's hope nothing happened to them, or else Tia will skin us all alive, and then feed us an arepa," Dolores insisted, glancing at the blanket fort where Isabela and Luisa were still sound asleep, "We better wake them up and get this place cleaned up before a maid comes in here."

"I'd help but..." Mirabel gestured at her glasses and then her legs, "I have no idea where my glasses or chair are."

"I'll help you look for them once I answer the door," Dolores announced, getting weird looks from Bruno and Mirabel, "Mami noticed that Tio wasn't in their room, this morning, she's going to ask me where he is before she brings down a hurricane."

"Maybe I should answer the door then," Bruno offered, trying to stand up and ended up tripping over what turned out to be the wheelchair that was tipped over under a pile of clothing, "Huh, Mira, I found your wheelchair."

Dolores smiled, opening the door right before Pepa could knock, she hated how loud knocking was, "Buenos dias, Mami," she said brightly, before covering a yawn with her hand.

"Buenos dias," Pepa said, frowning as she looked over her head, "I was wondering… why is there a palm tree in the middle of your room?"

"I'm sharing a room with Isabela," Dolores pointed out, "I made the mistake of calling her Senorita Perfecta, she provided me with all the evidence that she needs to prove that she wasn't perfect."

"By growing a palm tree in the middle of the room, but how? The room's not magical, and it's on the..." she trailed off as Bruno appeared next to Dolores.

"You missed a really wild party last night," he confessed.

"What in the world are you doing in the girls' room?"

"Making sure that whatever I walked in on last night doesn't leave the room," Bruno insisted.

"You walked in on them? How did you walk in on them? Didn't they have the door shut? I thought you couldn't get into a room without a key."

"I let him in Mami," Dolores explained softly, "he heard a crash and wanted to make sure that we were okay."

"And he stayed… why?"

"Don't blame me, it was Hernando, he likes a good pillow fight," Bruno insisted.

"Hernando?" Pepa questioned.

"He isn't afraid of anything," Dolores explained.

Pepa still glanced over at the destroyed room, "You better get this cleaned up before heading downstairs. We're supposed to be meeting Tita Ana in an hour, and we can't have the people who clean the rooms see this mess."
