As the Calvary Battle continues, Team Todoroki suddenly stood face-to-face in front of Team Yagi and Team Midoriya at the halfway point of the game. Shoto looked at Izuku and Luna with his usual impassive expression, unaware of Aisha was narrowing her eyes at him.
"I'll be taking those now." Shoto declared.
"I wasn't expecting this confrontation to happen until later in the contest. He seems to have it out for you, Midoriya." Tokoyami said to Izuku.
"Be prepared, Luna. He's coming for you with every strategy he got." Selene said to Luna.
"The game is only halfway over." Izuku said.
"He's right. We can't stop now." Luna said.
Team Todoroki started to make their move against Team Midoriya and Team Yagi, so they can immobilize both teams and take their headbands.
"Now, Iida, forward." Todoroki ordered.
Iida revved his engines and immediately ran his team forward as fast as he can. Earlier, Yaoyorozu was also able to roller skates for herself and Kaminari, making it easier for him to maneuver them.
"Yaoyorozu, be ready to protect us!" Todoroki commanded.
Yaoyorozu summoned a metal stick from her right arm and an electrically-insulated blanket from her stomach.
"Kaminari!" Shoto shouted.
"Oh, I know what to do." Kaminari smiled.
Both Luna and Izuku quickly realized what Team Todoroki were about to do.
"Watch your surroundings. It's not just Todoroki. Everyone's after us!" Izuku shouted.
Team Midoriya and Team Yagi quickly noticed that other teams are rushing forward to attack them at the same time.
"I hope that you made something strong, Yaoyorozu!" Kaminari said as he started charging his body with volts of electricity.
Shoto immediately hid himself, Iida, and Yaoyorozu underneath an electrically-insulated blanket just as Yaoyorozu then struck the metal pole into the ground.
"Indiscriminate Discharge 1.3 Million Volts!" Kaminari yelled.
Kaminari unleashed a massive amount of electricity that shocked almost every team around his team at once without harming his teammates. But unfortunately, Dark Shadow immediately shielded Team Midoriya from the electric shock while Diana protected herself and her team against Kaminari's electricity power with her force field.
Once Kaminari's electric shock was done, Shoto removed the electrically-insulated blanket and immediately grasped the metal pole to spread cold ice coursing down into the ground that instantly immobilized all the recovering team in place. Then, he took the opportunity to steal several headbands from his competitors and created a massive ice ridge that blocked them coming after Team Midoriya and Team Yagi.
Team Todoroki hurriedly rushed towards Team Midoriya and Team Yagi.
While Team Midoriya was having trouble with the short-circuited jet pack, Team Yagi began sprinting away from Team Todoroki.
"Midoriya, hurry! You guys gotta move!" Luna shouted.
"We can't! The jet pack is malfunctioning!" Izuku shouted back with a panic face.
"Uh, Luna, I know you're worrying about Midoriya and his team, but we got Todoroki coming at them and later us!" Diana cried.
Team Yagi noticed that Team Todoroki was coming in towards them and Team Midoriya at much faster speed.
"Shit, they'll catch up to Midoriya's team and us in no time!" Diana exclaimed.
"Luna, we need to think up a plan right now before Todoroki reaches us." Selene said to Luna.
"Already got one." Luna replied. "But it's gonna require Aisha's Quirk for speed."
"You got it." Aisha nodded.
Team Yagi watched as Tokoyami immediately sent Dark Shadow forward towards Team Todoroki. But Yaoyorozu quickly created a stone shield that blocked Dark Shadow's attack. Dark Shadow then retreated back to Tokoyami.
"Wow, Yaoyorozu's timing is remarkably perfect for her creation Quirk." Selene said.
"Only one minute left! Todoroki is cornering two ten-million-point team and poised to seize the ultimate prize! At least that's what I would have predicted 5 minutes ago! Unbelievably, Team Midoriya and Team Yagi has been able to keep away from the ice master for the last half of the game!" Present Mic exclaimed.
"I see." Aisha said. "Very clever, Midoriya."
"How come?" Luna asked.
"Todoroki can't use his ice to freeze Midoriya's team nor us without hitting Iida." Aisha explained. "And Midoriya is trying to stay on Todoroki's left side to prevent him from freezing his teammates."
With time running out, Selene noticed the determined look on Iida's face and immediately knew exactly what he's preparing to do.
"Luna, be alert!" Selene exclaimed. "Iida is planning to use his engines into maximum overdrive!"
"What?!" Luna, Diana, and Aisha said in awe.
"Torque over!" Iida yelled. He began forcing the torque and RPM of his engines into overdrive. "Recipro Burst!"
In an instant, Iida unleashed an incredible burst of super speed that allowed his team to zoom directly past Team Midoriya in the blink of an eye. As Team Midoriya was unable to protect themselves, Shoto suddenly snatched Izuku's headband.
As Iida began zooming towards Team Yagi, Aisha swiftly enveloped her team in blazing psychokinetic energy and suddenly cut Team Todoroki off by moving Team Yagi away from them in the blink of an eye.
"Whoa! Iida just zoomed past Team Midoriya, but he surprisingly missed Team Yagi, who managed to gain the upper head of his speed! Why didn't he show that speed in the preliminaries?" Present Mic cried. "And I can't believe my own eyes, this entire game has turned completely on its head! Todoroki's team has ten million points and Midoriya's team is suddenly stuck with nothing at all, but Luna's team still has their ten million points for now!"
"Nice job, Aisha." Diana said with a smile.
"Now, Iida's engines stall won't allow to run for a while after that speed." Selene grinned.
"He told you about that secret move?" Aisha asked.
"No, I've figured it out." Selene replied. "I knew he'll find a way to reach that speed eventually."
"But Todoroki will come after us to snatch Luna's points." Aisha reminded. "Due to the time limit of the battle, we need to avoid him and the other teams from stealing our points at the same time."
"That gives me another idea." Luna said with a smile. "Why let them snatch my points when it's a fake for the taking?"
"Oh, I see what you saying. Let's do it!" Diana exclaimed.
"And do it fast." Selene said as she watched Team Midoriya rushing themselves directly at Team Todoroki. "Because Midoriya's team is trying to reclaim his points from Todoroki."
"With time almost up, Team Todoroki is in first place with four headbands!" Present Mic said. "Despite their best efforts, Team Midoriya has fallen to the bottom. Will these be the top five teams that will move onto the next round?"
Diana moved her right arm behind her back and manifested her entire body with green aura as she started creating a solid hologram of Luna's one-million-point headband. Aisha stealthily levitated Luna's real headband off her head and floated the fake headband to tie around Luna's forehead before descending the real headband to hide tied-up under her short sleeve.
As Team Midoriya kept rushing close towards Team Todoroki, Luna could see Izuku activating One For All in his arm. She knew that Izuku still hadn't fully controlled his powerful Quirk, but it was the only way to regain his headband back.
Izuku charged forward at Shoto, who unexpectedly ignited his flames on his left arm as an act of defense. That immediately caught Luna and Aisha's attention. Izuku knew that he had only one shot to grab the headband, leaving him to pull his arm back with all his strength and immediately snatched one of them.
"I got one!" Izuku cried.
The entire crowd cheered for Team Midoriya's success on snatching back his headband from Team Todoroki.
"With just 20 seconds to spare, Team Midoriya is back in the game!" Present Mic cried.
"I…I don't believe it." Aisha said with a speechless look.
"Midoriya did it! I knew he could!" Luna cheered.
"Oh no!" Present Mic cried. "Team Midoriya didn't get the 10 million points after all!"
"What?!" Luna exclaimed shockingly.
Luna immediately looked up at the scoreboard that revealed Team Midoriya is only in sixth place with 70 points.
"70 points?! Are you kidding me?!" Luna exclaimed with wide eyes.
"Heads up! Here he comes!" Diana shouted in alert.
Team Yagi looked forward to see Team Todoroki now rushing towards them to steal their points again.
Luna took the opportunity to charge up her right hand with light energy. Shoto was able to sense Luna's power and instinctively ignited his flames from his left arm once again as an unexpected act of defense. Luna grabbed Shoto's flaming arm with her light energized hand, which gave Shoto the opening to snatch Luna's headband. Team Yagi then escaped few inches away from Team Todoroki.
The entire crowd cheered for Team Todoroki, but the cheering quickly stopped when the large screen showed Aisha levitating the real headband off from under her short sleeve and tied it back around Luna's forehead.
"What an unexpected turn! Team Yagi trick Team Todoroki from taking a fake headband! Sneaky but clever!" Present Mic cried.
"What?!" Iida, Yaoyorozu, and Kaminari exclaimed in shock.
The fake headband then disappeared from Shoto's grasp.
"But how…?" Shoto questioned in awe.
"It was my idea!" Luna smiled confidently. "But you can thank Diana for making a fake hologram of the headband and Aisha for hiding the real headband out of plain sight! So, see ya!"
With that, Team Yagi charged away through the field.
"The game is almost over!" Present Mic announced. "It's time for a countdown!"
With only ten seconds left, the only thing Team Luna can do is focus on avoiding other teams from stealing their points.
"Time's up!" Present Mic announced.
Every team immediately stopped what they gonna do, leaving the whole crowd cheer instantly for the ending of the cavalry battle.
"And with that the second round is officially over!" Present Mic said.
Luna stepped down from her team as they collectively looked up at the scoreboard.
"Now let's take a look at who are top four teams are." Present Mic said. "In first place: Team Todoroki! In second place: Team Yagi!"
"Yeah!" Luna, Selene, and Diana cheered as they and Aisha high-fived each other.
"In third place: Team Bakugo!" Present Mic continued.
Luna, Selene, Diana, and Aisha looked over to see Katsuki throwing a screaming tantrum in utterly frustration.
"In fourth place is team Tetsutet-wait, what?" Present Mic said. He looked at the scoreboard again with blinking eyes. "It's team Shinso! When did they come back from the dead?!"
Luna, Selene, Diana, and Aisha looked at the smirking Shinso, who was holding Tetsutetsu's headbands triumphantly.
"And in fifth place is team Midoriya!" Present Mic exclaimed. "These five valiant teams will advance on to the final round!"
Izuku was crying so hard that he was literally shooting tearing fountains up in the air from his eyes.
Good job, Midoriya! Luna thought with a proud smile. I know you can do it. Now, we both have to prove ourselves at the final round.
"Oh yeah!" Diana cheered. "Final round, here we come!"
"Always loving your motivating energy, Diana." Luna smiled.
Aisha looked concernedly at Shoto, who seemed to be berating himself for using his left side. She didn't know what lies to the final round, but she does have a fated feeling that she and Shoto will go head-to-head when the time comes.
"Now, let's take an hour lunch break before we start the afternoon festivities!" Present Mic said.
Everyone from different classes started exiting the stadium and heading to the cafeteria for lunch.
"Oh, you guys should've seen Bakugo's face when he went crazy against Monoma." Diana laughed. "Bakugo may be a pain in the ass, but who knows his temper tantrums can be amusing once in a while."
"Oh, Diana." Selene sighed. She the noticed that Luna is missing from the group. "Hey, where's Luna? She was here for like a second ago."
"I didn't even see her sneak off." Aisha replied. But I definitely know where she is right now.
Elsewhere, Izuku and Luna are currently in the empty hall of the stadium as Shoto was staring intensely at them across from the other side of the wall. Earlier, Shoto brought both Luna and Izuku there because he wanted to talk to them about something important.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" Midoriya asked.
I don't know why, but this conservation might have something to do with the cavalry battle. Luna thought.
Meanwhile, the number two hero Endeavor was making his way down the stairs.
"It's been a long time, Endeavor."
Endeavor turned around and saw All Might and Tarot Chariot standing directly behind him.
"And surprise you don't want to talk." All Might said.
"All Might." Endeavor spoke with narrow eyes.
