Ch37 -

"Shut up and kiss me..." He lifted me slightly, before speaking; in a tone very similar to my own. " As you wish, Princess..." I grinned again, before his lips met mine...

The second our lips connected, I wound my arms around his neck; I had to stifle the moan threatening to escape from my throat as, our tongues battled for dominance.

I could hear him growl, as he broke the kiss briefly; to push me against one of the trees, that was to our left. His hand began to wonder, and I broke the kiss; to catch my breath, and that's when he lifted his head.

He smiled at me, and that's when I noticed the mischievous look in his eyes; and within seconds of me noticing his expression, his head was buried in my neck.

I giggled, as his lips, teeth and tongue; got to work on my neck, I tried pushing him away. That's when his hand, landed on my lower back; pulling me closer, I tilted my head slightly.

Which only allowed him better access, he growled again; as he continued his ministrations. I giggled softly, squirming away from him.

I tried to pry his head away from my neck, so I spoke; trying to be as serious as I could.

"Killian, stop..."

I felt him smile against my skin, and after a few seconds; he lifted his head, to place his lips against mine again. I got lost in his kiss, and before I could deepen it; my stomach rumbled softly.

That's when I heard Killian laugh softly, he looked at me; laughter colouring his tone, as he spoke.

"I suppose that's our cue to head home my love, come on; how does grilled cheese and onion rings sound?"

I smiled, before answering.

"Yeah we should, and that sounds amazing; maybe we should change first, before heading back into town?"

He nodded in agreement, I closed my eyes; and the next thing, we were wearing our clothes from this morning. We then headed back in the direction of town, it didn't take long to get back to Main Street.

I still haven't gotten used to Storybrooke being so quiet, it was nice not having to deal with a crisis or villain; I smiled internally, as Granny's came into view. I moved to head in the direction of the diner, when Killian stopped me.

I peered up at him, and that's when I noticed; that we were stood beside the table, where Killian told me that he had traded his ship to find me. I leaned up slightly, to kiss him on the cheek; he turned slightly, to look at me.

He grinned, before kissing my forehead; we then headed inside, and sat down at our usual booth. As soon as we sat down, I lifted the menu; that was sitting on the table, I studied it.

I knew what I wanted, but I was craving something sweet too; that's when my eyes drifted towards the dessert menu, I narrowed my choices down to two.

Apple pie or Cheese cake?

I must have said that last bit out loud, as I heard Killian speak; confusion in his tone, as he did.

"Swan, what's cheese cake?...Tell me something love, why would you want to eat a cake made of cheese?"

I stared at him, of course; he doesn't know what cheese cake is, he cleared his throat before speaking again.

"No offence love, but it doesn't sound very appetising"

I watched as he grimaced, when he finished speaking. I giggled, before answering.

"No Killian, it's not a cake made of cheese; it's a dessert and it's delicious, so don't knock it til you try it"

He laughed softly, before speaking again.

"That's good to know, but I'm still not sure..."

I giggled, at his apprehensive tone; I then spoke, trying my best to keep the laughter out of my voice as I did. I then spoke.

"Try something new pirate, and trust me on this; I know what I'm talking about"

He quirked his eyebrow at me, before speaking.

"Oh I do trust you love, and I'll try anything new...once"

I grinned at him, a small laugh escaped my lips; but before I could say anything, a waitress then came over and took our order. Killian ordered a burger and fries, whereas I ordered my usual a grilled cheese with onion rings.

We also ordered two slices of cheese cake, we thanked the waitress; who told us that our food wouldn't be long, we then sat in a comfortable silence.

My thoughts drifted to this afternoon, I smiled internally; as I remembered Killian's reaction to the outfits, the rope, the cuffs and the sleeping powder. He was right about one thing, accuracy was key to making it a success; and because it was so successful, it's made me want to recreate other moments.

I felt a smile form on my face, I then heard Killian speak; curiosity coloured his tone as he did.

"What's that smile for Swan?"

I smiled again, before speaking.

"Oh, I was just thinking about this afternoon; and how fun it was recreating our first meeting. And now, all I want to do is recreate some more moments with you"

He grinned, before speaking.

"Ah, I see; well, what other moments do you want to recreate my love?"

I grinned, before I spoke again.

"Oh...Well, I have a couple in mind; but there's one moment in particular, that I'd love to recreate...or fix I should say. But I'm not sure if you will like it..."

He looked at me, before encouraging me to continue.

"Do you remember when Ursula and Cruella were in town?"

He nodded, before speaking.

"Yes love, I do; what about it?"

I swallowed softly, before speaking again.

"And do you remember when I asked you about your history with Ursula, and you were evasive?..."

He nodded, catching on to what I wanted to recreate; he spoke.

"Emma love...I'm sorry about that, but I'm guessing that's not what you're talking about"

I nodded, before I spoke again.

"No, that's not it; the moment I want to fix, so to speak is the events that took place after that..."

He caught on to what I was implying, he then spoke.

"Tell me love, am I right in thinking; you want to recreate the moment we were about to kiss, but before we could your parents interrupted us?"

I smiled internally, as I pictured what was going to happen; I'll call him, he'll show up at the station, we'll talk, sit on the couch and then we'll kiss.

Realising that I hadn't answered him, I smiled; before answering.

"Yeah, only but only if you want to..."

He grinned, before nodding in agreement; he opened his mouth to speak, but before he could say anything our food was set down onto the table. We thanked our waitress, and we then ate in a comfortable silence.

After we finished eating, we made light conversation; I then looked at him, before speaking.

"Are you ready to try this?"

I gestured to the cheese cake, he nodded; I placed the plate in front of him, I then lifted my own plate. I lifted my fork, and sliced into the cheese cake.

I watched as Killian did the same thing with his, I then watched when his nose wrinkled; as he tentatively placed the fork to his lips, I smiled internally.

I spoke, laughter in my tone; as I did.

"It's not going to bite you Killian, it's just a dessert"

He huffed slightly, at my quip; before he wrapped his lips around the fork, I watched as his nose wrinkled slightly as his face contorted slightly. I'm guessing it was due to the texture of the cream cheese filling, it takes some getting used to; he then swallowed the piece he had his mouth, before placing his fork back onto his plate.

His expression was unreadable, ok so maybe he's one of those people that isn't fond of cheese cake; but hey at least he tried it, I looked at him and then I spoke.

Curiosity in my tone, as I did.

"Well, what did you think?"

He looked at me, for a few seconds; he grinned, the silence driving me crazy. Did he like it or not?

I couldn't wait much longer, so I spoke again.

"You didn't like it...and that's ok, at least you tried it"

I trailed off, and that's when he smiled at me; before speaking.

"Emma, love; you're right I didn't like it, I loved it. Not as much as I love you however; and another thing, you were right it is delicious"

I laughed softly, before I watched him lift his fork again; he finished the rest of his slice, and I did the same thing. After we finished our dessert, we paid our tab; then headed home...
