A news helicopter flew over the disastrous aftermath of the Nomu assault on Hosu City. Inside the helicopter was a female reporter and her cameraman.
"Okay, can you hear me in the studio? I'm reporting to you live from the skies of Hosu City. It's unclear what's happening below, but take a look!" The female reporter announced as her cameraman pointed his camera at the burning smoke down below. "Large clouds of smoke and fire are rising from different locations in the area. Is this due to a series of accidents? Or have villains taken the streets? Currently we have no info on the situation here, but our station will continue reporting as this breaking story unfolds."
"And cut!" The cameraman said.
"Don't you dare stop filming." The female reporter said.
The cameraman pointed his camera back at the city.
The female reporter then noticed something that caught her attention.
"Wait…what in the world? Look." The female reporter said.
"Uh? At what?" The cameraman asked in confusion.
"Right there." The female reporter said as she pointed her finger forward. "Check out the building with the water tower on top. Zoom in."
The cameraman moved his camera at the water tower and zoomed in to spot Tomura and Kurogiri overlooking the city at the top.
"There're people. Two of them!" The cameraman said.
"Bystanders? How did they get up there?" The female reporter wondered.
On the water tower, Tomura looked through his binoculars while scratching his neck at the same time. He witnessed two winged Nomus lying dead on the street ground, the skinny Nomu and the muscular Nomu getting arrested by the police force, and another muscular Nomu being surrounded by Manual, Zodiac Moon, and the other pro heroes without a head. Seeing the Nomus lifeless and beaten, Tomura angrily decayed his binoculars into dust.
"We're leaving." Tomura ordered.
"Are you satisfied with the results, Tomura Shigaraki?" Kurogiri asked as his face opened up a large warp gate.
"Depends on tomorrow's headlines, moron." Tomura responded as he walked back through the warp gate.
With that, the warp gate disappeared.
The next day, Luna slowly started to wake up back from her unconsciousness under the shining light of the morning sun inside Hosu General Hospital. She wore a white hospital gown and has two bandaged arms. She looked up and gasped as Selene and Aisha staring down at her with deeply concerned faces. They both are wearing white hospital gowns. Selene has a bandaged left arm and right leg while Aisha has bandaged right arm.
"Oh, Luna. Thank goodness you're awake." Selene said in relief.
"Awake? How long was I out?" Luna asked.
"For a while." Aisha replied. "Selene and I couldn't sleep after that fight."
"The fight?" Luna repeated. Her eyes widened wide as she quickly sat up. "Uh no! Did I…go crazy again?"
"No. Not at all." Selene said. "You totally eradicated that Nomu when it took you away. That explosive power of yours was surprisingly amazing."
"Yeah, I'll say." Aisha agreed.
Just then, Diana hurriedly opened the door.
"Girls!" Diana shouted. "I came as fast as I can!"
"I take it that you haven't receive Luna's backup text?" Selene asked.
"I did. I would've arrived sooner, but you can thank my parents' five-hour training for that." Diana replied. "You wouldn't believe how physically and mentally exhausted I was." She enveloped her hands with violet aura. "Now, spill out the details."
Luna, Selene, and Aisha explained about their fight with Comet as Diana generated violet aura all over their entire bodies one by one. They learned that Comet was planning to capture Luna and exact her revenge on Selene and Aisha, including Diana, for defeating her Shatrix sisters back in USJ. After Diana completely restored her friends into perfect health, she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Dammit." Diana said with a groan. "Look, I'm glad you girls are safe and sound and all, but I really wished I was there to kick that girl's ass. If any of the Shatrix dorks mess with you three, they mess with me."
"Don't worry, Diana. You'll get your chance." Aisha assured.
Suddenly, Tarot Chariot opened the door and entered the room.
"Oh, hey mom." Luna said.
"I'm so glad you and your friends are okay." Tarot Chariot said as she walked over and hugged her daughter. "Amazonite told me what happened, and I came as fast as I can."
"It's alright, mom. We're good." Luna reassured.
"Comet was actually trying to collect Luna, but she stood strong and kick her ass." Aisha smiled.
"And if it hasn't been for her, I've stayed imprisoned under Comet's clutches too." Selene added.
"I see." Tarot Chariot said with narrow eyes. "So, she can finish what her sisters have failed."
"Yes." Selene confirmed.
"Well, you girls are safe and that's what matters." Tarot Chariot said.
"Oh, which reminds me. Midoriya, Todoroki, and Iida are here too." Diana said. "They brought down the Hero Killer Stain."
"Stain?!" Luna and Aisha exclaimed in shock.
"So, that's why Iida wanted to do his internship in Hosu." Selene said in realization.
"How come?" Diana asked.
"Because of his brother Ingenium." Selene explained. "He was caught fighting the Hero Killer until he suffered serious injuries. Iida's mother told me what happened after the Sports Festival ended." She narrowed her eyes in irritation. "But I didn't think he was going to get revenge on Stain. How stupid of him."
"Indeed." Tarot Chariot informed. "According to Chief Tsuragame, Stain has some serious injuries, severe burns, and several broken bones. Right now, he's in the hospital under strict guard."
"Are we allowed to see the boys?" Luna asked.
"Of course, I don't see why not." Tarot Chariot replied.
"Good." Selene said as she stood up off her bed. She unexpectedly stomped out of the room in comical fury. "Because I'm gonna give Iida a piece of my mind for his actions!"
"Oh, this I gotta see." Diana grinned as she followed Selene out of the room.
Luna and Aisha exchanged sweatdrop expressions before running out of the room. Tarot Chariot strolled out in the hallway as she followed her daughter her friends into another room five steps from theirs. Once she walked inside, Luna spotted her godfather with a surprise look on her face.
"Gran Torino!" Luna smiled.
Luna ran up and happily hugged her godfather.
"Oh, I missed you." Luna said.
"That makes two of us, kiddo." Gran Torino smiled back.
Tarot Chariot looked at Luna and Gran Torino with soft smiles. But she quickly turned her attention to Selene, who was shouting at Iida with a fuming yet comical look on her face. Iida looked scared for his life while Aisha and Izuku tried to calm Selene down by grabbing her arm and holding her back. Shoto took a big step back as he wasn't going anywhere near Selene, but Diana was utterly enjoying the scene.
All Luna can do is sigh with a smile.
Outside, the news of Stain's arrest expanded throughout Japan like wildfire. The citizens began talking about how awesome it was that the Hero Killer was defeated by Endeavor on the streets. But they aren't aware that it was actually Izuku, Shoto, and Iida are the ones who defeated Stain in combat.
"Now, our continuing coverage. Four villains were captured in the Hosu riot. Their identities and motives are yet unknown." The male reported announced. "Based on their distinctive appearance, however, and the presence of two people our reporters filmed nearby, many are speculating that they're connected to the League of Villains that attacked UA last month."
"The Hero Killer Stain claimed many lives." The female anchor added. "In fact, he has more victims than any other criminal since All Might burst into the scene. With his arrest, everyone in the country can rest a little easier tonight."
"The seriously wounded Hero Killer is currently receiving treatment at a hospital under heavy police guard." The male reportered continued. "Officials are awaiting recovery of several of his victims before further investigating the villain's motives. We're back talking about the criminal who has surely left his mark on Japan, if not the world. The Hero Killer Stain! Why did he do it? What did he hope to gain? Don't be shy, we're taking calls and wanna hear your thoughts."
The public news broadcast the Hero Killer's capture caught the interesting attention of a fairly tall, somewhat lanky man on the streets an enormous individual who is listening to a radio report alone in the woods, a relatively petite, fair-skinned teenage girl skipping down through a dark alleyway while listening to the news report with her earphones, and two people – a very athletic woman and a slim, muscular man – watching the news report on different building rooftosp.
Elsewhere, Tomura was reading the newspaper inside his bar hideout.
"I'm coming to you live from Ekou Street in Hosu City." The female reporter reported. "Last night, just after 8pm, the Hero Killer Stain was arrested by Endeavor on this very blo..."
Kurogiri turned off the TV as he could see that Tomura is utterly upset that the Nomu didn't receive enough publicity in comparison to Stain.
"He's all they're talking about. What about my Nomus?" Tomura growled frustratingly as he crumbled the newspaper and tossed it away before slamming his right fist at the table counter. "Not only have they not forgotten, but we didn't even make the front page."
Back at the hospital, Luna stared at the window in her room while sitting crisscrossed on her bed. Selene was checking on her phone while Aisha glared at the hospital food tray on her lap.
Diana then returned to the room.
"Hey, Diana." Luna greeted. "Where have you been?"
"I just talked to my parents." Diana informed. "They were furious that I was my hologram to distract them before I got here. Luckily for me, your mom managed to talk to them, and they understood the situation."
"But…gonna get a lecture?" Luna teased.
"Still gonna get a lecture." Diana sighed with sweatdrops.
"You know, I can't stop thinking about that Quirk of yours, Luna." Selene spoke, looking away from her phone to her friends.
"What about it?" Luna asked.
"I mean, Diana told me and Aisha about how you use your Quirk during your entrance exam. But what happened to you in USJ and later our fight with Comet, I'm starting to believe that your Quirk must be connected somehow." Selene explained. "Apparently, there's a high likely chance that there are villains we've met looking to bring you to their side because of your powerful Quirk."
Luna looked silent for a moment. She then puts on a brave smile.
"I've thought it too for a while. After everything happened last night and at USJ, I know I have a lot of catching up to do." Luna said. "So, I've got to get stronger."
"You mean we're going to get stronger." Diana corrected as she crossed her arms over her chest. "If anything happen to you, we got your back. We're a team, no matter what."
Selene and Aisha nodded in agreement. Luna looked at her friends with a surprised face and her smile grew wide. The quartet created a determined pact to become strong together to their full potential.
Then, Aisha looked back at her food tray.
"What a waste." Aisha sighed.
"Something wrong, Aisha?" Selene asked with a confuse face.
"It's just…" Aisha said. Her face glared repulsively at her food in a complaining tone. "There's no dessert in my plate."
Selene, Luna, and Diana stared at Aisha for a moment. Selene and Luna began laughing in response to break the silence while Diana rolled her eyes with a groan.
"Aisha, we've got more important things than your sugary craving right now." Diana sighed.
At U.A. High, all teachers worked quietly in the staff room. That is, until the sound of All Might's "A phone call is here!" ringtone started ringing. All Might search through his pocket for his ringing phone, not paying attention to Aizawa's deadpanned face and Present Mic's sweatdropped face.
All Might then took out his phone and held it against his left ear.
"Yes, hello?" All Might answered.
He can't possibly be serious with that ringtone. Aizawa thought in annoyance.
All Might instantly stood up from his seat in a startled manner.
"Wha-?! Hi, sir!" All Might said as he started spitting out blood from his mouth.
On the other side of the call, Gran Torino was speaking through the telephone inside the hospital.
"You coulda warned me about Izuku Midoriya. I know it probably couldn't be helped, but thanks to him, I'm getting a pay cut and my teaching license is being suspended for six months." Gran Torino berated. "His tendency to jump into situations without thinking is just like yours, Toshinori."
"I humbly apologize, sir." All Might apologized nervously as he covered his mouth with his hand to prevent the other pro heroes from listening to his conservation. "It's because of my insufficient teaching. I can't believe my protege caused you so much trouble." He then started walking away from his desk and headed out of the staff room. "Oh, man, this is bad."
"Well, I don't care about my teaching license anymore." Gran Torino assured. "You're the only reason I got it. And that was so I could keep my promise to your predecessor, Shimura."
"And I truly appreciate all you did for me." All Might said while walking through the hallway. "It's only because of your wisdom and guidance that I'm the number one hero today."
"If that's true, then why don't you ever visit me?" Gran Torino asked.
All Might gasped in a startle.
"Well, it's just that my new life as a teacher keeps me so busy." All Might answered.
"Anyway, I've ran into your wife and your daughter yesterday." Gran Torino said.
"Oh, how are they?" All Might asked.
"They're doing fine. I'll let Ursula sent you the details." Gran Torino replied. "At least, they come and visit me every now and then."
All Might sweatdropped with a nervous chuckle.
"I actually called to talk about the Hero Killer." Gran Torino notified. "I saw him only briefly in person, but in that short amount of time, he shook me to my very core. There is such hatred inside of that man."
"I can't believe he was able to frighten someone like you, Gran Torino." All Might said. He opened the door of the teacher's lounge and stepped inside. He looked around for a clear coast before closing the door. "He must have already been tied up, so what scared you?"
"It probably stemmed from his fanatic ideology. There was something very intimidating about his obsession. I'm not trying to praise him or anything, but he's got the same determination as you when it comes to your Symbol of Peace thing." Gran Torino explained. "There're similarities."
"What do you mean?" All Might asked in confusion as he sat on a green sofa.
"To put it simply, you've both got charisma. As the investigation continues, his ideology and opinions will be all over the media." Gran Torino said. "Everyone will wanna know his motives. The age we live in, for better or for worse, is one of suppression. There will be people around the globe who are influenced by these new ideas."
"If that's true, and he inspires copycat villains, they'll probably strike out on their own. Heroes will be able to stop 'em, just like they did this time." All Might assured.
"That's where the League of Villains comes in." Gran Torino said seriously.
All Might tensed up from his seat.
"The Hosu incident suggests that Stain and the League are connected somehow. That means…the League will go from being thought of as a bunch of juvenile delinquents that attacked UA to being recognized as a group with an ideology." Gran Torino hypothesized. "In other words, these new converses will seek them out. Even if each individual is insignificant, if that evil gathers under one banner, it'll swell to unstoppable proportions. If the villain in charge knew this would happen from the beginning, then he is a brilliant strategist. He's steadily getting rid of any obstacles one by one, trying to create conditions that will favor his own purpose."
"When I heard from Tsukauchi that Nomu had multiple Quirks, I had a bad feeling." All Might said as he gripped his pants. "What if he's back?"
"You're concerned it could be the man you killed Shimura, my sworn friend, your master, and the previous holder of One for All." Gran Torino said. "That man who opened that hole in your stomach. You're afraid the villain named All For One is on the rise again."
"For him to have survive such injuries, though…I don't wanna imagine its possible." All Might argued.
"Toshinori, that child and your daughter admire you so wholly and fiercely. You should find the time to tell them everything concerning you and One for All. Be honest. They deserve to know the truth." Gran Torino advised.
All Might remained silent, knowing that his mentor is right. It's time for him to tell both Izuku and Luna the truth of his most fearsome foe that is connected to One For All.
Back at the hospital, Tarot Chariot was staring at the sky lost in her thoughts.
"I hope I've found you here."
Tarot Chariot snapped out of her thoughts. She turned around to see Morganite walking out of the doorway.
"I assumed you're worried about…?" Morganite asked.
"If they are on the rise again?" Tarot Chariot said. She turned back around and crossed her arms over her chest. "When Tsukauchi told me about the Shatrix's mission back in USJ, I couldn't believe it. Especially when he said my sister's name. I don't want to believe of the possibility of my family to survive that battle so many years ago."
"Ursula, I think it's time you tell your daughter the truth." Morganite advised as she walked up next to Tarot Chariot and placed her hand on her friend's shoulder. "Everything about your history, Divine Trinity, and the dark reality of your family. For a daughter who loves and respects you fiercely, she deserves to know."
Tarot Chariot looked away in silence, but she took a deep breath and maintained a calm disposition on her face.
"You're right." Tarot Chariot agreed. "It's time to tell Luna the truth of the family secret I've tried so long to protect her from."
Enjoy and Review.
