Hello there everyone! I'm back with the next chapter for you all, and I think you're gonna like this one as we get more into the wedding. The response to the last chapter was incredible, I'm so beyond glad you all enjoyed their wedding and hopefully the second half doesn't disappoint.

Before we get into it I mentioned this in my last I Won't Let You Go update, but I wanted to say it here too for those of you who don't read that story, that I want to apologize for the shorter updates this week. My life is super hectic right now, as we're in the process of moving and that's taken up nearly all of my time, and so I just wanted to let you know in case my updates are shorter/somewhat sporadic here over the next few weeks/months. I'm doing my best to not let it affect things too much, but everything is very overwhelming right now so that's why this chapter is a little shorter, and why my future updates might be shorter than you all are used to as well.

And then yesterday I also found out I'm gonna have to send my computer in to Apple to get it looked at/worked on, which was definitely not planned. So I'm really not sure what my updates will look like going forward until I get my laptop back. But between that, and the moving, if there are any times when I can't update, I'll do my best to let you know. By either tweeting about it (at gcbbydawson on twitter), or I'll add the little note at the end of the author's notes in the previous chapter like I've been doing for a while.

Thank you all for understanding, it means a lot to me right now. And I appreciate your continued support so, so much. So thank you for that.

With all that said, we're finally gonna see the rest of Dawsey's wedding night and I hope you enjoy it. And, as I'm sure you can figure, there is a section of this chapter that is Rated M.

But that's pretty much all I've got for you all. Happy reading everyone, and I'll see you all next time.

ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN

Dawson's hazy eyes were focused out the window as Matt drove his beloved truck down the surprisingly quiet streets of Chicago, the late hour proving to have cleared traffic for the most part while the newlyweds sat quietly in the vehicle. Neither of them had said much, not since leaving their reception maybe twenty minutes ago, but they were both content with that as the easy quiet around them gave Gabby the chance to think back over their day, and how just absolutely perfect it all had been.

Their wedding was incredible, even all these hours later that feeling of complete joy and excitement from being married to the love of her life hadn't worn off. It still felt just as surreal as it had when they said their 'I do's'. But what had made it all even better was them being able to celebrate with their friends and family afterwards, their reception something Matt and Gabby both knew they wouldn't be forgetting for a long time.

After finishing their first dance, which had proven to be more emotional than either of them really expected, they had moved on to their dances with their parents, Gabby having a dance with her father while Matt did the same with his mother. Then once those had finished, that's when the heavy emotions started to lift and the night began to feel more like a party, as it took only minutes before the alcohol started flowing and everyone began to join them on the dancefloor.

Though the couple made sure to not drink too much, the pair wanting to stay sober enough to be aware of their surroundings and not cloud their wedding night with alcohol. But they were able to have just as much fun as everyone else, Matt and Gabby dancing around with their friends and family until well after the sun went down.

Overall, it had just been a great night. One that felt like the perfect way to celebrate their marriage, as now they were finally able to start this next chapter of their lives together.

A chapter that started with this drive to the hotel, where they'd be staying for the next couple nights thanks to both of their parents. Though it wasn't at all necessary, but Ramon, Camila, and Nancy had surprised them with this last gift before they left the reception, and it was just one of the many things Matt and Gabby were grateful for today.

"We should be almost there."

The sound of his voice combined with the slight squeeze he gave their conjoined hands pulled her from her thoughts, Gabby glancing over towards him to see the small smile resting over his lips despite his eyes staying on the road, Matt starting to stroke his thumb along the back of her hand while they rested together on the seat between them.

"Yeah?" She finally responded, after taking a moment to find her voice as it had been a bit since she'd spoken.

"Mhmm, it's just down the street here Mrs. Casey." He told her, those words falling from his lips like they were the most natural thing in the world. And by now they were, as in all the hours that had passed since their wedding, he hadn't stopped calling her that. Every chance he got, he'd say it, like he couldn't get enough of being reminded of how they were actually married.

And she loved it just as much, as each time she heard it it sent butterflies through her stomach.

"What?" He asked her when she had yet to say anything, but he saw the smile on her face, Gabby merely shaking her head before squeezing his hand back.

"Nothing… I just love you." She replied, seeing his own grin widen before hers turned into a devilish smirk. "And I would kiss you right now if I could, just thought you should know that."

A light laugh left his lips before he began to shake his head, his reaction alone telling her he wasn't opposed to the idea as she angled her body closer to his.

"What, you didn't get enough earlier?" He questioned back lightly while her bottom lip fell between her teeth. "When you pulled me down the hall after our wedding, or when we were together before the reception… Or when you dragged me into the bathroom a couple dances in, and gave me a ha-"

"Alright, alright." She cut him off, Casey laughing softly before he lifted their hands up to press a soft kiss to her skin. "I get your point… Though I don't recall you having complaints about any of that." She teased back, seeing his unapologetic smile grow even larger before kissing her hand once more.

"And I never would." He spoke after clearing his throat. "Not when I'm married to the most gorgeous person in the world." He added, Gabby's face softening just as the truck slowly came to a stop. "...Looks like we're here, babe."

His statement prompted her to look away from him out the window, Dawson's eyes widening a bit when she took in how beautiful this hotel was. She'd gone by it countless times, especially during work, but she'd never stayed here before as there was just no reason to. And along with that, she also knew it was on the pricier side. That this hotel was one of the more lavish places to stay here in the city, Gabby still having a hard time wrapping her mind around the fact that they were celebrating their night here.

"Wow, it's…"

"The perfect place for our wedding night." He murmured, Gabby turning back towards him with a wide grin on her face before he leaned in for a quick, easy kiss.

"Let's go." She whispered against him, Matt smiling as he kissed her once more before they pulled apart and began to get out of the truck.

It only took a few minutes for them to get up to their room, after stopping to valet their vehicle and getting checked in, before heading for the elevators. But soon enough they'd gotten to the correct place, their hands clasped tightly together while Matt slid the key into the door, Gabby's cheek resting against his arm before they slowly made their way inside, both of them immediately in awe of what they were seeing.

For as beautiful as the hotel was from the outside, it had nothing on the inside as this had to be the nicest place either of them had ever stayed at. From the spacious rooms, to the king sized bed sitting comfortably up against the wall, to the large couch beside it next to floor to ceiling windows looking out over the city, the entire room was incredible. And they were so excited to be here.

While Gabby started to look more around their room and bathroom, Matt shut and locked the door behind them before making his way further inside, an easy feeling settling in the air around them as he came to a stop by the cart placed close to the wall across from their bed. One he soon realized to be filled with, according to the note, complimentary champagne, drinks, and desserts to celebrate their wedding, the writing making him smile before he popped a piece of strawberry into his mouth.

"Looks like they really went all out for us." He called, turning just as Gabby came from the bathroom with that same happy smile plastered across her face. "Even got us drinks and everything." He added, seeing her nose scrunch up slightly as she made her way to him, her body coming to rest right next to him while she reached up to hold onto his arm, Matt smiling when he felt her lean into him before beginning to open the champagne.

"We have to make sure to thank them again." She mused just after he got the bottle open, the liquid surprisingly not going everywhere before he poured their glasses. "They really didn't have to do all this."

"No, they didn't." He breathed out, turning to press a kiss to the top of her head while handing her the drink. "But I'm glad they did, I can't wait to be here with you for a couple days."

He could almost feel her smile at the movement, Casey smirking a bit before eating a few more pieces of fruit from the tray, both of them standing in that calm quiet while they continued to decompress from the busy, yet wonderful, day. Though they weren't left in that silence for very long, as after Matt took a few sips of his drink he spoke up once more.

"But you know, this hotel isn't the only surprise." He started, glancing down when she began to pull away from him before their gazes locked on one another, her eyebrows raising almost challengingly while she reached for one of the cookies sitting in front of them. "There's something I want to tell you."

"Hmm?" She hummed before taking a bite, Matt's piercing blue eyes never leaving her while she ate, his smile widening while he brought his thumb up to wipe away a few of the crumbs that were sitting on her lip.

"Remember at the reception when I said you had more surprises coming?" He asked her, Gabby nodding in response. "Well, I have something for you… Or something to show you, I guess." He added, seeing the confused yet eager look in her eye before she shot him a small smile.

Before saying another word he placed their drinks back down on the cart and led her towards the bed, Matt carefully sitting her down before he crouched in front of her, feeling her eyes on him with every move. With one hand resting over her dress-covered leg, he reached down into his pocket and pulled out his phone, the room silent while he scrolled through a few things before ultimately handing the device over to her.

"We leave in a few days." He told her, seeing her eyebrows furrow deeply before she looked at what he was showing her, it taking a few seconds to register what she was seeing. But once she figured out that these were plane tickets infront of her, a range of emotions began to play out across her face. Especially when she saw where they were going.

"Matt, I-" She stopped herself, her pure shock and amazement impossible to miss as his own smile widened, Matt able to sense even just from her few words how excited she was. Even if she still was a little confused. "What is this?"

"Our honeymoon." He answered simply, seeing her vibrant brown eyes shining down at him before she glanced back to the screen, almost in disbelief.

"Our… what?" She asked while focusing on the tickets once more, almost like she was trying to make sure her mind wasn't playing tricks on her. "Matt, you didn't…"

"I did." He replied proudly, rubbing along her leg while she leaned forward a bit. "In a few days, we'll be leaving Chicago and heading to Italy… Just you and me." He continued on, seeing her lips start to tighten as a few hidden tears started to show in her eyes. "I know how much you've always wanted to go there. That this is something you've been looking forward to doing some day, and I figured what better time than when we can go together, and celebrate our marriage?" He finished rhetorically while moving his hand up to her hip, Matt watching on as he saw her trying to process all the emotions she was feeling. "I've already got everything planned and booked, we just have to pack."

"I- I don't even know what to say, baby." She breathed out, a soft and grateful smile breaking through her features. "This is incredible, but it's… It's too much. And surely it's too expensive."

"No it's not." He was quick to assure her with a slight shake of his head. "Not when it's for you, and for us." He added on, squeezing her body gently as their eyes met once more. "And besides, I already paid for it… So I really think we should go."

A soft laugh left the back of her throat, Gabby mimicking his head shake before dropping his phone down to the bed and focusing her sole attention on him, with a couple more tears forming in her eyes.

"Hey, hey no tears." Casey spoke up lightly, with that signature grin covering his face. "This is supposed to be a good thing, babe."

"It is, it's a great thing." She promised him, bringing her hands up to cup his cheeks as a lone tear escaped down her skin. "I'm just a little caught off guard, I wasn't expecting any of this… I didn't even think we'd be going anywhere for our honeymoon, cause we never really talked about it…"

"Yeah, well that was sort of the plan." He joked, Gabby laughing once more while rubbing her thumb over his cheek, their wide and expressive eyes still locked on one another before she leaned down to steal a quick kiss.

"Thank you… For this, and for everything. You really didn't have to do this for me." She whispered, her lips ghosting over his before their foreheads pressed together, Gabby sure he was smiling even though she couldn't see him with her eyes closed. "I don't deserve this, or you."

"Yes you do." He said almost instantly, like it was instinct before he pulled back to look at her. "You deserve everything, and I'm gonna spend the rest of my life trying to give you that." He spoke with the same conviction he had earlier, when he'd recited his vows and promises to her, the strength in his words causing more tears to spring to her eyes as she knew without a doubt that he believed every word he was saying.

Which made her believe it, too.

"...I love you so much, Gabriela Casey."

Warmth flooded her entire body as he spoke, Matt barely able to finish getting the words out before her lips were on his once more. But this time felt different, there being a passion and need behind her movements that weren't there before, her movements telling him all he needed to know as he gave her back just as much as he was getting.

Their mouths were moving together, Casey slowly guiding them up until they were standing once more, but they never disconnected from one another as her hands gripped onto his neck, Matt's palms sliding over her as before long they were both starting to become painfully aware of how many layers were still between them.

But when her hands began moving towards his tie and got it ripped off in seconds, his mind cleared a bit, Matt having to force himself to pull back when he felt her fingers start to work on his shirt.

"Wait, wait-" He breathed out, Gabby moving back to look at him as they both stood there with chests heaving, his shirt half open while his palms slid along her bare arms, the look on her face enough to tell him she wasn't sure why he'd stopped them. But the soft smile on his helped her relax, Matt shaking his head lightly before he leaned forward to press a much more tame kiss to her lips. "I just… Want to remember every moment of this."

He felt her smile before they separated once more, their hands still roaming the other as they couldn't help but need to be close, Gabby giving him one last kiss before she pulled away completely.

"...You said Shay had our bags dropped off?" She asked him, Matt drawing in a steadying breath before he nodded.

Though they hadn't been expecting to stay anywhere near this nice, they knew they'd be spending their wedding night somewhere, as they'd packed a few bags with things they needed. And now, it seemed like they'd be put to good use as Gabby was eager to get out something she'd brought with her.

"They're over there." He replied softly, nodding towards the bags that he'd noticed when they came in sitting up against the closet.

"Alright… Well, how about you-" She started, pushing her index finger against his chest softly. "Stay here, give me ten minutes and I'll be back." She told him, Matt forcing himself to swallow the lump forming in his throat before he nodded, Gabby flashing him a sultry grin while she moved to grab her bag and head over to the bathroom, but not before stopping to grab her glass of champagne.

"Whatever you say, Mrs. Casey." He finally replied when she passed him, seeing the flicker of need flash in her eyes while she took a few steps back.

"I'll never get tired of hearing that." She breathed out excitedly, Gabby winking at him softly before taking those last few steps into the bathroom.

He watched her until she was out of sight, Casey only releasing the breath he was holding once she'd shut the door behind her, the man knowing he needed to calm himself down or their wedding night would end far too prematurely. And that was the last thing he wanted, Matt taking a few more slow breaths before he downed the rest of his glass, Matt swallowing the liquid in one gulp before filling his cup up once more.

As the minutes ticked by and Gabby was still behind the closed door freshening up, Casey opted to making himself busy and get ready for their time spent together in this room, the new husband going to close all the curtains, along with putting the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, Matt finishing up by moving to turn off both their phones and putting them away.

Though he was sure everyone would know better than to try and contact them right now, that wasn't a chance he was willing to take. He didn't even want to risk them getting interrupted by someone accidentally calling them, or any outside noise. He just wanted to be in this moment, with Gabby; he wanted to think of nothing but her, and being with her, for as long as he could. And making sure they were completely cut off from everything and everyone was the perfect way to do that.

Once he had finished up with his few tasks, he paused to slide out of his coat jacket and toss it over the back of the chair before he continued over to the bed, Matt deciding to wait for his girl there as he hoped she'd be back out soon. Though he wasn't left waiting for very long, as before he could even sit down he heard the bathroom door open, Casey's gaze automatically moving towards the noise just in time to see Gabby step out into the room.

And the second she did it was like time stood still, his breath catching in his throat while his eyes raked over her body, Gabby wearing what he knew had to be a new set of lingerie given how he had never seen it before. But it was already one of his new favorites, the bright white material contrasting her skin perfectly while she lifted her hand up to rest against the doorframe, Gabby standing in a position that gave him the perfect view to soak her all in.

The lacey material covered her, but hardly hid a thing as the bra and panty set were connected by sheer fabric over her torso, the thin lace everywhere else showing him almost all of the body he knew by heart while her hair fell down over her shoulders, Matt having to remind himself to breathe every few seconds as his eyes focused on her chest.

"I…" He got out, finding it hard to form a complete thought when she started to move towards him, Casey unsure of which part of her to look at as he wanted to see all of her.

"What do you think?" She asked huskily, her confidence shining through as she got close enough for him to reach out and touch her, the feeling of his warm palm through the thin material sending shockwaves through her body.

"I think you're perfect." He breathed out, the sweet smile that formed over her face causing him to practically fall in love with her all over again as his hand slid up to grasp her chest, his movement prompting her to moan softly while she placed her own hand over his upper arm. "God, you're so fucking perfect." He murmured before his lips were on hers, the force of his action catching her off guard as she swallowed a surprised gasp, before beginning to kiss him back.

Their movements were as slow as they were intense, Matt holding onto any part of her he could while carefully leading her back towards the bed. They only separated long enough for her to sit down, Gabby crawling back onto the mattress before he was on top of her, his entire body covering her as his lips found hers, Matt completely captivated by her while he took control of the situation.

And she let him. Without a thought in her mind, she let him do whatever he wanted as she laid underneath him on the bed, his weight holding her in place while his lips moved from her mouth down to her jaw, before landing on her neck.

They had hardly started and every second already felt like pure bliss, Gabby feeling her body react in all the right ways as he marked her neck before continuing down towards her chest, Matt focusing his lips and tongue on the tops of her breasts while his hands helped matters. Whether they were running over her sides, and across her waist, or gripping onto her chest, he always had to be touching her, his palm now clutching onto her breast while his mouth moved lower to press open-mouthed kisses over the material of her bra.

"Matt…" She moaned, Casey feeling her nipples hardening beneath his touch before he yanked her bra down below her breasts in one swift movement, Gabby yelping as the cool air hit her sensitive skin. But it was nothing compared to the feeling of him on her as seconds later he took her into his mouth, her head collapsing back against the pillows while his tongue moved over her nipple, his other hand still mercilessly groping her bare skin as Gabby's eyes clenched shut. "Baby-"

A sharp intake of breath cut her off as Matt grazed his teeth over her, the man biting down slightly before moving to give her other breast the same treatment, while his wandering hand began to move further down her body.

Her breath hitched once more when his fingertips ghosted over her center, the material covering her there not nearly enough to deflect any pressure from him as he slowly started to rub back and forth over the most sensitive part of her body, while his lips continued to claim her chest. And that alone sent sparks through her system, Gabby's stomach tightening while he used just enough pressure to drive her crazy as his hand assaulted her skin over her underwear.

"You're so beautiful." He whispered once he started trailing his mouth further down her body, Casey able to feel every clenched muscle while placing rough kisses to her covered skin, his tongue moving right along with him until he made his way to her waist.

He had kept his hand going the entire time, his two fingers moving in a painfully slow rhythm over her center while occasionally moans and cries left her lips, Matt already able to feel the effect he was having on her as her body gave her away. But he absolutely loved it, Casey knowing how ready she was for him already despite the fact they'd hardly started.

"Matt.." She tried once more while his wrist continued to move steadily, enough to where he knew she was feeling all of it as her hand jolted towards his face in an effort to get him to do something more. But he merely smiled, Casey using his free hand to grab ahold of her palm before he pressed a soft kiss to her wedding ring.

"I love you." He spoke into the heavy air surrounding them, Gabby forcing her breathing to stay as steady as she possibly could while she felt herself getting closer and closer, solely from Matt's few fingers rubbing over her center as he kissed her ring one more time.

"I love you, too." She choked out between breaths, while his mouth went back to moving along her waist before finally starting to head down between her legs. "Please- Please, Matt." She all but begged, desire clouding her brain while Casey saw more and more of what all his movements were doing to her. "I need you."

Once those words left her lips and he heard the strong want behind her words, he knew it was time to give her what she was asking for. To stop teasing, and show her just how much he loved and appreciated her- every single part of her.

So that's what he did, Matt removing his hand from her center long enough to get himself properly situated between her thighs, Gabby whining in frustration from the lack of contact before he guided her legs up to rest over his shoulders, his arms hooking around her hips to keep her locked in this position as he started to press gentle, open kisses all over her covered skin.

Each move was soft, and purposeful, Gabby feeling like she was going insane every time she felt his breath on her before he slowly began to move her underwear to the side, just enough to get the clothing out of the way as she was now completely exposed to him. Which was exactly what she wanted, Matt smiling softly at the desire coming off her body in waves before he carefully leaned down to nip at her smooth skin.

A sudden moan left her throat, one that died when he pulled back as quickly as he'd gone to her. But she didn't have a chance to voice any more frustration as he soon placed his mouth back on her, Gabby choking on the air in her lungs as his tongue began to move over her wanting body. With every move he made, it's like it was exactly what she needed as soft whines and desperate cries left her lips, Matt choosing to keep the pace slow for a few long moments before he enclosed his mouth around that sensitive part of her body just as he slid two fingers into her.

The swift movement caused a loud shriek to come from her, her body tightening in response as her evident desire made his entrance into her body an easy one, Gabby's hands moving down to grip the sheets beneath her while her back arched up off the bed.

"Matt-" She cried out, her tremoring muscles telling him that after his earlier teasing and sharp movements now, she was close.

Maybe closer than even she realized, as with a few more steady pumps of his fingers and his tongue poking out to run over her clit, she came undone, Gabby coming so quickly that he could tell it surprised her as she shook on the bed beneath him. But he didn't stop. Because he didn't want to stop. And he knew she didn't want him to, either.

It was like he couldn't get enough of her. They couldn't get enough of each other, Gabby encouraging him further as she dug her legs harshly into his back, no doubt leaving some marks behind.

But that was furthest thing from his mind right now as he continued on, Matt picking up his speed while sliding a third finger into her, occasionally curling them upwards prompting more cries and moans to come from his girl as she never got the chance to come down from that high. With his continuous movements, it was like wave after wave of pleasure was rolling over her, Gabby already nearing her second orgasm as he secured his hold on her hips.

Her body was still shaking under his touch, every muscle in her body tightened while his hand continued to move in and out of her at a now lightning pace, Gabby laying defenseless beneath him while her grip on the bed grew tighter. Like she was trying to hold onto any sort of control she could, even though she had none.

And they both knew it when he sent her over that edge once more just moments after the first, Gabby nearly screaming through her finish as she came around his hand, Matt working her through till the end before he began to slow his movements.

There was a thickness in the room around them, Gabby's legs still trembling while Matt gradually began to kiss his way back up her body, feeling her muscles contract every couple seconds while she fought to catch her breath. He moved slowly, letting the combination of his easy kisses and soft hand tracing along her body help guide her back down to earth, as he knew the best thing he could do for her right now was give her some time.

"You okay?" He spoke against her, pressing a chaste kiss over the side of her bare chest while his hand rubbed over her stomach, her chest still heaving up and down as a lazy smile appeared over her face.

"I'm perfect." She told him, Casey biting back a chuckle before he placed another kiss to her skin, Matt moving to trail kisses up her arm to her shoulder, before ultimately meeting her gaze. "...Is that some of what I have to look forward to now that we're married?" She continued on teasingly between breaths, Matt not bothering to stop his laugh this time as he let his hand glide up and down her side.

"If that's what you want, then yes… Gotta keep the wife happy." He replied with a grin, Gabby smiling back at him before she carefully guided him towards her for a kiss. One that had an almost surprising amount of passion behind it, as he wasn't expecting her to have bounced back so quickly. But when her hand started trailing down his chest through his half-open shirt, before sliding back out and moving towards his pants, he had a feeling she was okay.

"Baby." He spoke between kisses, his hand moving up to hold onto her bare chest while she gripped onto the back of his neck. "Are you ready?" He asked her, needing that last bit of assurance before they went any further.

And she soon gave it to him with a strong nod, Matt smiling against her as he gave her one last kiss before forcing himself up off the bed, just long enough to shed his clothes before he was back on the mattress with her. She reached out to touch him as soon as she could, Gabby not liking the distance while he carefully started to help her out of the rest of her lingerie, neither of them wanting anything between them as he eventually tossed the clothing aside before climbing on top of her.

He had her legs pushed apart, Matt settling his body there before he leaned forward to hover over her. Their eyes were locked on one another, their skin pressed together while her hand slid up and down his chest, the soft grin appearing over his lips making her heart clench.

"I love you, Mrs. Casey." He told her one last time before capturing her lips in his, the two moving slowly together while he reached down to guide himself into her, Matt making sure his movements were cautious as he never wanted to risk hurting her. But after a few moments, and some prompting from Gabby, he was able to rest completely against her, her legs tightening around him to keep him close before he started to move with easy strokes.

There was nothing rushed or frantic about it, his movements slow and sensual as there was only an immense love between them. A love that could be felt with each steady and deep thrust, Gabby able to feel every inch of him as he moved in and out her, their hands soon intertwining up by her head while their lips stayed on one another as they both wanted to savor every bit of this defining moment in their lives.

Because right now, everything about tonight felt different. Even though they'd been in this position many times before, it was never like this. They had never felt as connected as they did right now. And it had to have been one of the best feelings in the world, as they were able to be together for the first time as husband and wife.

And all they wanted was to enjoy every last second of it.

Gabby's eyebrows furrowed as she slowly started to come into consciousness, her body shivering slightly when she felt a rush of air flow past her bare skin, the sheet partially covering her not doing enough to keep her warm as she started to become more and more aware of her surroundings.

She wasn't sure what time it was, but with the messy bed around her she knew exactly where she was, a soft smile beginning to form across her face as she thought back to last night, and early this morning, and all the time her and Matt had together, her aching body another reminder of just how incredible their night had been.

"Good morning, my beautiful wife."

Her smile widened when she heard him, the deep tone to his voice telling her he hadn't been up very long either as Gabby finally opened her eyes to see Matt sitting at the end of the bed, enjoying some of the snacks that had been left for them that they hadn't gotten to last night.

"Hi." She murmured, needing a moment to find her voice as she cleared her throat, Matt popping another cracker into his mouth before he started to shuffle his way up towards her, his once bare body now covered by boxers. "What time is it?" She asked as he got situated beside her, Casey still sitting up while she chose to stay in her spot lying down in the middle of the bed.

"Close to noon." He told her, Gabby drawing in a deep breath before she nodded. "I ordered us some lunch, it should be here soon."

"Thank you, husband." She replied, tracing her hand lazily over his arm that still had his bandage on it, her words making him smile as well before he leaned down to place a kiss to the top of her head. "I might take a shower before we eat," She continued on now that she had regained more of herself, before beginning to stretch her arms above her head, the movement causing the sheet hardly covering her to move some more. "And I need to look at your bandage, and get that changed."

"We can in a bit." He told her with an easy grin. "After we shower." He added on smoothly, Gabby merely nodding back at him while her eyes focused on his injured arm, before glancing over towards his hand.

And that's where her gaze stayed for a few seconds, Gabby getting completely lost in the shiny metal band in her line of sight until she felt his leg rub against hers.

"Where'd you go just then?" He asked her softly, seeing her smile widen before she met his gaze.

"I was just looking at your ring." She replied, seeing him match her look while he glanced down in that direction as well. "I love seeing it on you."

"Me too." He agreed simply, while Gabby adjusted her position to lean closer to him, letting her arm drape across his lap.

"Even if it still doesn't feel real." She added on while his hand came to rest over her back.

"What doesn't?"

"All of it." She replied, Matt staying quiet while she gathered her thoughts. "The wedding, being married… Everything you planned for our honeymoon." She told him, missing the heartwarming grin that crossed his face. "Although now I am understanding why you kept hiding the credit card statements from me." She joked, Casey letting out a chuckle while he continued rubbing her back.

"Yeah, well I didn't want to ruin the surprise." He teased back, Gabby shaking her head lightly before resting down against his side.

"You definitely didn't… But it's just everything, it all still feels like a dream." She continued on in the safety of his embrace. "Like I'm just about to wake up any moment." Gabby finished, Matt giving her a knowing nod while his hand came up to cradle the back of her head.

"Well babe, it may feel like a dream, but it's all very real… Our marriage, our honeymoon, all of it. It's all real." He promised, feeling her nod against him before she lifted her head up once more. "And these rings just prove that, that we're now stuck together forever." He continued on lightly, earning a laugh from her before he leaned down to kiss her forehead. "But that's exactly what I want, getting to be with you every day… It's just you and me baby, for the rest of our lives." He said strongly, Gabby's grin widening as she nodded in response.

"It's you and me." She agreed, the two sharing one last smile before Matt adjusted himself to kiss her, their bodies molding together just as they always did while he wrapped his arm around her.

And from that moment on, it was like nothing else in the world mattered. Nothing but him, and her, and those rings on their fingers. That was all they cared about as they relaxed down into the bed, the newlyweds content to stay right here for as long as they could, and focus on nothing but each other.

Which is exactly what they did.
