Chapter 19

Danville Part 3

As more Heartless began to take over Danville, Molly prepared herself for the worst as the rollercoaster approached Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated. Much to Molly's surprise, the rollercoaster didn't seem to slow down.

"Phineas, where are the breaks on the rollercoaster." Molly asked.

"Oh, Ferb and I didn't include breaks on this ride." Phineas remembered.

"What?" Candace couldn't believe what she was hearing! "Are you saying we are stuck here?"

"At least until the ride comes to an end like every other rollercoaster." Phineas explained.

Seeing that her friends can't come with her, Molly stood up from her seat as she got ready to jump towards the balcony of the building.

"Molly, what are you doing?" Candace asked, concerned.

"I have to save Libby! She needs me! I"m sorry, but you will have to go on without me!"

Without a second thought, Molly leaped from the rollercoaster and landed on the balcony of the building. She turned around to see the rollercoaster speeding off in the distance.

"Don't worry! I'll be fine!" Molly yelled to reassure her friends.

"Good luck, Molly!" Phineas yelled back before he and his siblings shined more lights on the Heartless.

After summoning her keyblade once again, Molly stepped into the building in search for Libby. Her search didn't last long before she found Libby tied up.

"Libby!" Molly rushed towards her girlfriend.

"Molly!" Libby smiled, happy to see Molly again.

At that moment, Molly began to untie Libby, not paying too much attention to the inator or the secret agent platypus in the cage. Once Libby was free, Molly immediately embraced her in a tight hug.

"Oh, Libby! I am so glad that you aren't hurt! I missed you so much!" Molly exclaimed.

Libby soon blushed from the hug. "I missed you too, Molly! Can you go easy on the hug though? Your hugs are surprisingly tighter than the ropes were!"

After Libby was released from the hug, she remembered about Perry, who was still in the cage. Using her keyblade, she fired a beam at the cage, freeing Perry.

"Don't worry, Perry! You're free now!"

"Huh? Why is Perry wearing a hat?" Molly asked, weirded out by what she was seeing.

"Oops! That was supposed to be a secret!" Libby remembered.

Annoyed, Perry placed a hand up to his face in a facepalm as he hoped that Major Monogram doesn't find out about this. Before Molly could question this, the laser from the Darkness-Inator increased in power, summoning more Heartless.

"Libby, what's going on?" Molly asked.

"It's kind of a long story! You see, this evil scientist named, Dr. Doofenshmirtz created this Darkness-Inator! That is what is attracting the Heartless here!" Libby explained

At that moment more Heartless appeared in the room. The girls raised their keyblades in defense as the Heartless began to surround them.

"I'll keep the Heartless distracted while you and Perry figure out how to stop the laser." Molly announced before she rushed towards the Heartless.

As the Heartless chased Molly through the building she slowed them down by firing magic at them. Upon realizing what was going on, Doofenshmirtz peeked out of his hiding spot to find Molly fighting the monsters that were chasing him.

"Hey, do you think you can keep these guys distracted long enough for me to get back to my inator?" Doofenshmirtz asked Molly.

"Huh? You're Dr. Doofenshmirtz, aren't you?" Molly asked as she swung her keyblade at another Heartless.

"Oh, so you've heard of me?"

"I've heard that you are the one who sent all these Heartless here!" Molly yelled.

"Hey, it's not completely my fault! This old man actually encouraged me to build that inator!" Doofenshmirtz defended.

That was when Molly realized that Doofenshmirtz was referring to Xehanort.

"But why would you trust Xehanort?"

"I don't know. He actually seemed like a pretty descent guy at the time!" Doofenshmirtz replied.

Molly thought about what Doofenshmirtz said before shrugging her shoulders. "Okay! I see your point! I usually like to see the good in everyone no matter what, but Xehanort shouldn't be trusted after all the terrible things he's done!"

While Molly was protecting Doofenshmirtz from the Heartless, Libby was working with Perry to destroy the Darkness-Inator. Every passing second, the Darkness-Inator got more powerful.

"What are we going to do? It's only going to summon more Heartless if we don't stop it!" Libby yelled.

Perry soon thought of an idea before he took out a grappling gun and pointed to the inator.

"Huh? Are you suggesting that we knock it down?" Libby asked, to which Perry nodded in response. "I suppose it's worth a try!"

While Libby used a gravity spell on the inator to knock it to the ground. Perry fired his grappling gun at it. They both pulled it down with all their strength before the inator toppled over and hit the floor, causing it to short circuit. The Darkness-Inator began to shoot out sparks before it deactivated.

It was at that moment when all of the Heartless disappeared. Molly soon put her keyblade away before she rushed over to reunite with Libby.

"Libby, you did it! Danville is saved!" Molly exclaimed.

"Aww! It wasn't just me! I couldn't have done it without Perry's help! Looks like we make a pretty good team, after all!" Libby said, to which Perry nodded in agreement.

With the Heartless gone, Doofenshmirtz slowly got up from his hiding spot. He noticed that the Heartless were gone, but his inator was barely functioning.

"Oh, good! The inator isn't completely destroyed! If I can make a few tweaks, the inator can work properly this time!"

"What? You're still going to activate it after all the trouble it has caused." Molly couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"Don't worry! I have learned from my mistakes! I can fix it so I can gain control of the monsters this time and make them not so violent!" Doofenshmirtz explained

Not wanting to give Doofenshmirtz that chance, Perry pushed the Darkness-Inator off the edge of the balcony. It then fell before exploding upon hitting the ground.

"Well, there goes that idea!" Doofenshmirtz said, disappointed.

"Sorry, Dr. Doofenshmirtz! That's what happens when you mess with The Bloodhound of Truth and her friends!" Libby posed triumphantly one last time before she, Molly, and Perry escaped, using Perry's hover jet.

As Perry flew away, he could hear the distant yells of Doofenshmirtz, screaming, "Curse you, Perry the Platypus! And you too, Bloodhound of Truth!"

Both, Molly and Libby watched as they flew away from Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated. Suddenly, they were both surprised to see a keyhole floating above the building. With the keyhole revealed, Molly and Libby summoned their keyblades and fired beams of light at it, preventing anymore Heartless from invading Danville.

It wasn't long before Molly and Libby met up with Phineas, Ferb, and Candace. The rollercoaster was no longer around since the Heartless ended up destroying what was left of it. Thankfully, no one got hurt. Everyone returned home safely before Libby and Perry reported back to Major Monogram.

"You two have done well in your mission to stop Dr. Doofenshmirtz!" Major Monogram praised. "Libby, we would be happy to have a secret agent like you as a part of our organization, but the choice is yours!"

"I appreciate the offer, Major Monogram, but Molly and I have to leave and continue our journey together." Libby explained.

Major Monogram was disappointed that Libby couldn't stay, but respected her decision. "I see. Well, we are all going to miss you, Libby! If you really have to go, we wish you luck on the rest of your journey!"

Both, Major Monogram and Carl, raised their hands up in a salute before Libby saluted back. With the mission over, Libby decided to join Molly and the others.

As Molly and Libby were about to go, they decided to say one last goodbye to Phineas, Ferb, and Candace.

"Thanks for helping us save Danville!" Phineas said, grateful to have friends like Molly and Libby.

"I couldn't have done it without you and Ferb. It was thanks to your rollercoaster that I was able to find Libby!" Molly replied.

"Speaking of which, where were you this whole time, Libby?" Candace asked, curious.

"Sorry, but some things are best kept secret." Libby sent a secretive wink towards Perry when no one was looking, who in turn, smiled before winking back.

With Danville free from the Heartless, Molly and Libby decided that it was time for then to leave. After saying goodbye to Phineas, Ferb, and Candace, Molly and Libby returned to their gummi ship and flew back into space, ready to explore their next world.
