Hello there everyone. I'm finally back with another chapter for you all. I'm so, so sorry for the delay these last couple of weeks. As I mentioned in my Author's Note last time, there's been some things going on with my family that have impacted my ability to get any writing done. But luckily I was able to get this chapter out for you guys.
With that said, I'm not sure what my updates will look like moving forward. Everything is still up in the air with me, and unfortunately just yesterday my family got some more pretty bad news that was unrelated to everything else happening. So there's just a lot going on right now. But I'm gonna try my best to keep updating weekly for you all, and if I'm going to miss a week I'll certainly let you all know.
Thank you so much for understanding, and thank you to everyone who left such kind words for me and my family. It means more than you'll ever know, so just thank you. So much, thank you.
I think that's all I have right now. Thank you so much for reading, and I hope the wait was worth it. I'm excited to hear your thoughts and I'll see you all next time.
Also, there is an M Rated scene in this chapter. And let's just say that it's very much M Rated, so I hope you enjoy.
ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY
Warm water fell down onto Dawson's head as she stood in the shower, the remaining shampoo rinsing from her hair while her hands were braced up against the cold tile wall, her closed eyes facing the ground as the steam around her helped to clear her thoughts during this quiet moment for herself.
It was pretty early in the morning, enough to where the winter sun hadn't risen yet as they were making their way into the third week of January. Christmas had come and gone, rather uneventfully for all things considered, as they hadn't done much but work and spend time with family. And that slower pace had continued now that they were well into the New Year, Gabby and Matt content to take things day by day while they worked on fully overcoming everything that happened to them nearly three months ago.
The process took a while, longer than she ever would've thought or wanted. But, as Adrian had pointed out to her, that's what she needed. She needed to take this slow, his words resonating with her as she knew now that she was basically having to start back at the beginning in order to move past the shooting. She spent so long just trying to ignore all of it, that she never fully worked through any of what happened to her. And once she'd accepted that, it helped more than she could've ever imagined as all of it was getting easier for her to manage day by day.
She still had her moments where things were tough, and maybe she always would, but she was in a much better place now than she was then. The shooting, and what happened to her and Matt, was in the past. She'd come to terms with it, and the fact that she couldn't change it. That the only thing in her control was moving on from it, and that's exactly what she had done. Or what she was working on doing, as with a little help she now knew that the best thing for her was to just keep moving forward, and living the life she was beyond grateful to still have. Her and Matt both.
So that's what they were doing.
In their personal and professional lives, they were doing their best to get back into their routines. In feeling settled and comfortable in the firehouse, and at Molly's. In going out with their friends and spending more time with their family. They were doing all they could to keep going forward, and that's a big part of why she felt as grounded as she did right now.
It was that, and it was also because of her husband.
The sound of the glass door opening quickly pulled her from her thoughts, an intense rush of cold flowing into the shower as she looked up to see her husband standing there, Gabby shivering slightly before he offered her a small smile.
"Sorry." He murmured, his gaze instinctively raking over her wet form as Gabby wiped some of the water from her eyes after taking a step back out of the water. "I said your name a few times, but you didn't hear me."
"It's okay." She replied, cocking her head to the side once she noticed his prolonged stares, Gabby letting herself admire the view she was getting as well while he stood there in only the boxers he'd slept in. "...Can I help you?" Gabby questioned him lightly once he seemed unable to look away from her chest. Though she didn't mind one bit.
"Thought I might join you here." He responded, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "So we could save some time before work."
Those last few words earned a laugh from her, Gabby shaking her head back and forth while simultaneously taking a step backwards to give him room. "You and I both know this won't save us any time, but come in." She told him, Matt smirking proudly as he reached down to slide his boxers off before stepping inside the enclosed space.
Having done this dance countless times, they maneuvered around each other easily so Gabby could stay underneath the water, Matt not wanting her to get cold while his hands slid over her slick hips. Her back was to him while the water rushed over them, Casey wasting no time in stepping back closer to her as he continued to caress her smooth skin, her entire body relaxing under his touch before he brought one hand up to move her hair out of the way.
"Good morning." He spoke, his voice barely audible over the sound of the water as he pressed a soothing kiss to the outside of her neck before taking a second to breathe her in, her scent familiar and comforting to him.
"Good morning." She repeated, letting her weight fall back into him while his lips kept moving delicately over her skin.
They hadn't had the chance to see each other yet today, at least not really as Matt was only half awake when she dragged herself out of bed to get in the shower. But from what she could tell- or feel rather, he was certainly awake now, Gabby letting herself get lost in his light touch for the next few minutes until he eventually pulled away.
But in the confined shower he didn't move very far, Dawson feeling his unmistakable warmth behind her as she opened her eyes, just in time to see him reaching beside her for her soap and washcloth. Her head fell to the side in a mixture of wonder and amusement before she shifted around to face him, finding nothing but a goofy grin written across his face while he lathered up the cloth.
"Babe…" She started, catching his gaze for a split second before he looked back down and continued on with his task.
"Yes?"
"What are you doing?" Gabby asked, the lightness to her tone impossible for him to miss as it only made his smile widen.
"Helping." He answered simply, earning a slow shake of her head despite the soft grin that started to appear over her lips as well.
"I can clean myself, you know?" She teased him, Matt giving her a nod before he lifted his hand up and moved his finger around in a circle.
"I'm aware.. Now turn around." He prompted, Gabby letting out a soft sigh before she returned to her previous position facing the wall, it only taking a second before she felt him slowly start to rub the washcloth over her back. And while she had feigned indignance just seconds prior, she'd never actually turn down this request of his, as it felt just as good for her as it did him.
The combination of warm water and the slight pressure he was using over her muscles felt heavenly, Dawson letting out a slow, concentrated breath while he washed over her, each movement methodical and precise as steam continued to surround them.
"...Still want to do this yourself?" He joked, Gabby practically able to hear the smile on his face as he hit a particularly sore spot underneath her shoulder blade, a low moan escaping the back of her throat before she shook her head.
"Not a chance." She replied, Casey grinning proudly while he kept on with his slow movements, her body continuing to relax underneath his touch as he placed occasional kisses over her neck and her shoulders. With every second that passed, all she could focus on was him and how good it felt as his hands moved over her. How each movement was purposeful, how he was being so completely attentive and gentle with her. Just like he always was.
Just like he even more so had been over these past few months.
It was no surprise to her, or to anyone really, that Matt had been extra tender and patient with her as of late, as that was just who her husband was. But that didn't make her appreciate it any less as he had been by her side every step of the way, while they both navigated through this.
From the moment she woke up in the hospital, to their recovery. To going back to work and realizing she wasn't as okay as she thought, to sitting outside of every therapy appointment with her, just because she felt safer knowing he was there. Or even those times when it was just them and she needed someone to talk to, he had been there for her through every moment of this. All while dealing with his own struggles and feelings towards almost losing her, he had dedicatedly been at her side. Proving his undenying love for her, even though he didn't need to.
And not only had that meant everything to her, but it gave her the space and security to get better.
For the both of them to get better. And now that they were on the other side of it, or getting there at least, it felt like they were able to just enjoy their marriage. Which wasn't something they'd been able to do much of yet, not since their honeymoon. Not when there was always something else going on. But now that they had worked through the emotional toll that fateful day had taken on them, for the first time since their wedding they were able to settle into an easy rhythm together, as husband and wife.
And it was one of the best feelings in the world.
"Baby."
Matt's soft voice grabbed her attention as her eyes slowly opened, Gabby needing a moment to regain a full sense of her surroundings while she felt his hand still slowly moving the washcloth along her lower back.
"Yeah?" She questioned, his other palm sliding easily over her side before making his way around to her stomach.
"I asked if you could turn around." He murmured, his thumb stroking lovingly just underneath her ribcage as she nodded, before she carefully spun to face him.
He kept a hand on her the entire time, partially to keep her from slipping but also because he couldn't help but touch her, Matt's loving gaze moving over her as she offered him a small, yet warm smile.
"Hi." He told her, Gabby repeating the word softly while he began moving the washcloth across her collarbone, Matt feeling her eyes still locked on him as he continued on with his methodical movements. At first he let it be, but once he had gotten down to her waist and she had yet to look away from him, he dropped his hand and looked back at her, the two locking gazes when his eyebrows raised up in question. "...Can I help you with-"
"Thank you." Her soft voice cut him off, the look of confusion creased into his features only deepening despite the soft grin that appeared over his lips. "I feel like I haven't said it enough, but thank you. Really." She repeated, the two unable to look away from each other as Matt let out a chuckle before he reached past her to put her washcloth back in its place.
"For washing you?" He checked, Gabby matching his laugh when she began to shake her head.
"Well, yes… Thank you for that, but that's not what I was talking about." She explained, seeing her husband's face soften ever so slightly before she continued. "I meant thank you for everything." Gabby specified as his eyes traced over her face once more.
"You don't need to thank me." He tried, but she pushed on.
"I want to." She replied, Matt pursing his lips together before he gave her an easy nod. "And I want to make sure you know how much I love you… Like, I really love you. More than anything else."
There was an unmistakable gleam in her bright brown eyes while she spoke, but that didn't stop the hint of uncertainty that started to form in his gut, like he couldn't be sure if there was a reason behind her sudden rush of emotion. "I know you do." He told her, lifting his hand up to cup her cheek while hers moved to rest over his side, his gaze searching hers before he continued on. "And I love you, too."
Those words brought that smile back to her face before she leaned in to give him a soft, slow kiss, the feeling behind her movements evident as she clutched onto him, the two not separating until air became an issue.
It was a little harder to breathe due to all the hot air around them, Matt resting his wet forehead down against hers while they fought to catch their breath.
"...Are you alright?" He questioned after a moment, his thumb brushing delicately over the side of her neck before a gentle smile began to form over her face.
"I am." She responded after pulling back ever so slightly, just enough to see him. "Right now, here with you.. I'm perfect."
The sincerity in her voice caused a noticeable grin to cover his features, one that looked a lot like hers while he kept her close. "Good." He murmured back, the two sharing another knowing look before she carefully pulled him in for a kiss, their movements slow and easy while they continued to enjoy their time together this morning.
"Hey Case."
Severide's voice filtered down the hallway when Casey stepped out of the bathroom, Matt's pace slowing in response as he turned to see his friend jogging towards him. An expected look crossed the truck Lieutenant's features, Casey waiting for him until they came to meet in the middle of the hallway.
"There you are man, it feels like I've hardly seen you all day." Kelly added on, prompting Matt to let out a soft chuckle while both he and Severide began to continue in his original path towards the common room.
"Yeah, sorry… We've been kind of running all over the place today." He reminded him, Kelly nodding in understanding as both men knew just how busy this shift had been.
From the moment second shift arrived this morning, things had been nonstop. Whether it was 81, Squad 3, or ambo- all companies had been in and out of the house all day on different calls, mostly due to the weather, not leaving any of them much time to see anyone outside their rig. In fact now was the first time all of them had even been here at the same time, and it was already well into the afternoon.
It was just one of those days here at 51 that would happen every so often, and there was nothing to do but take it in stride. And enjoy the downtime when they had it.
"Same here." Severide agreed, Matt offering a knowing look as they kept walking.
"So, what's up?" Casey asked, getting the sense that his friend was wanting him for something.
"Oh, right- I was just wanting to check and see if you were doing anything tomorrow night? A late construction job or anything?" He questioned, Matt's eyebrows furrowing together a bit before he shook his head.
"No, there's no construction jobs. Why?" He pushed, the two slowing their steps as they rounded the corner.
"Well, I was thinking that maybe you and I could go out to Molly's or something. Maybe watch the hockey game there, it's been a while since we've done that… Well, without the girls anyway." He suggested with a laugh, Casey smirking in response while shoving his hands into his pockets.
"That sounds great Sev, but could you take a raincheck?" He asked back, Kelly's eyebrows raising before he nodded.
"Sure, yeah.. You got plans already?"
"Yeah, I'd been thinking about trying to take Gabby out tomorrow." Casey replied, not missing the look of realization that covered Severide's face that was soon accompanied by a smirk, his reaction causing Matt to grin as well.
"Ahh, taking Mrs. Casey out on a date, are you?" He joked, Matt fighting off the urge to huff back at him while they slowly continued down the main hallway.
"Yes, I am. Or wanting to, I haven't asked her yet. But it's been a while since we've gone out… I'm pretty sure we haven't been on a date since our honeymoon." Matt explained to him, earning a nod from his friend.
"Well, getting shot will do that." Severide added dryly, Matt narrowing his gaze in his direction before he reached out to shove his shoulder. "What? It's just the truth."
"Charming." Casey deadpanned while Kelly grinned his way. "But anyway, we haven't been able to do anything like this, so I was planning on taking her out somewhere. A date night for the two of us. So we'll have to watch hockey another time."
"That's fine, Case." Severide responded with a wave of his hand, Matt missing the look of amusement that started to form over his friend's features as they got closer to the common room. "We can hang out another night. And besides, you two need to go have a nice time and get started on adding to that baby necklace."
His statement caused Matt to stop, a glare appearing over his face before the squad Lieutenant started to laugh again.
"Oh, don't give me that.. Shay told me all about the baby necklace you got Dawson."
"That's not what it was." He tried, but Severide wasn't buying it.
"Please, that's exactly what it was. You want to knock Dawson up, you don't have to deny it. But no worries man, it's sweet… And just from what I've heard from Shay, Gabby loves it." Kelly added on, not missing the proud smile that started to appear over Matt's lips. "Though that's only what I heard from Shay, and when Dawson first told her about it she was convinced Gabby was pregnant." He spoke with a seemingly imprinted smirk over his face, while Casey merely rolled his eyes.
"She's not pregnant, Severide." He cut in before his friend could get any ideas. Although that didn't stop him as the two firefighters rounded the corner into the common room.
"Not for lack of trying though, I bet." Kelly teased, earning nothing more than a deep scoff from Casey as they stepped into the large room, where the rest of their coworkers were sitting around.
Ignoring Severide's clearly pointed words, Matt began to look around at all his friends before his gaze landed on one person in particular; his wife, who was sitting back at the small circular table. She was caught up in whatever was in the newspaper in front of her, to the point where she hadn't noticed Matt walk in, or how his smile widened while he continued to watch her, Casey seeing her mindlessly twirling the pendants on her necklace between her fingers as she sat next to Shay.
"See?" Severide spoke up once more, bringing his hand up to rest over Matt's shoulder. "Baby necklace." He whispered, jabbing him in the side playfully before he started to walk away. Though before he got very far Matt reached out to shove him while he passed, Kelly chuckling back when he noticed the very obvious smile on Casey's face.
"Do you two need a chaperon?" Herrmann spoke up once he saw the two Lieutenant's messing with one another, Severide shaking his head while Gabby looked up after hearing Christopher's voice.
At first she wasn't sure what he was talking about, but the second she locked eyes with her husband she knew, Gabby smirking at him while he gave her a goofy grin back.
"Not this time, Herrmann." Kelly ultimately replied, patting the older man on the shoulder as he walked by him, while Matt made a beeline for Gabby.
"Hey baby." He greeted when he was close enough, the smile on her face softening as he got over to the table and stood behind her, his hands coming up to gently rest over her shoulders.
"Hi… How was your last call?" She questioned, leaning back into her chair when his hands started to slowly massage her shoulders, Matt moving in just the way she liked.
"It wasn't anything too bad, what about you all?" He asked back, looking between the top and Gabby's head and Shay, who was sitting surprisingly quiet beside his wife.
"About the same." Gabby responded.
"Yeah, it was another routine one at a pastry shop. We got some free muffins, which was nice." Shay added on, Matt letting out a soft laugh before he nodded.
"Sounds like a great call to me." He replied, Gabby and Shay both nodding before the latter looked back down to whatever was on her phone, while Gabby stayed focused on the feeling of his hands on her, Matt slowly starting to add more pressure to each spot that was overly sore. "...That feel okay?" He all but whispered, knowing no one other than Gabby needed to hear him.
"Yeah, it feels great… I was more sore than I realized."
"I can tell, but I can help you out with that." He replied before he could stop himself, Gabby smiling a bit while Shay glanced up with a feigned look of disgust.
"Do you all need to get a room?" She interjected, earning a glare from her partner while Casey simply grinned.
"We could, if that would make you feel better." He played along, causing some of the first responders in the room to laugh as they were clearly listening in on their conversation. But Shay wasn't amused like they were, as she playfully lifted her hand up and flipped him off. A gesture Matt copied before he returned his complete attention to Gabby, placing one hand on the table beside her and leaning down next to her head. "But speaking of, what are your plans for tomorrow night?" Matt asked her, Gabby's eyebrows raising curiously as she turned her head to look at him.
"I'm not sure, why?" She responded, despite his less than subtle innuendo.
"How would you feel about us going out?"
Her face softened, a bright and genuine grin appearing over her lips as she felt his body heat resting up against her back. "Yeah?"
"Mhmm." He hummed.
"What's the occasion?" She pushed on, Matt shrugging a bit regardless of the weird angle.
"No occasion. Just that I love you, and want to have a nice night out with my wife." He replied, causing the smile on her face to widen as she nodded.
"That sounds great, I'd love that." Gabby said just as the bells went off, calling truck back out into the city once more, that sound telling them both that their conversation was about to be cut short. But Casey didn't let that phase him.
"Good." He answered, turning to press a kiss against her cheek before he stood up and started heading towards the garage. "It's a date." He called back to her, the two sharing one last knowing smile before he went out through the double doors, leaving Gabby in the common room.
"God, I should not have eaten all that dessert."
A small smile covered his face when he listened to his wife's lighthearted complaining, his head shaking back and forth as he slid the key into their front door, while the heavy winter winds blew around them. It had stopped snowing earlier in the night, but it was still debilitatingly cold out. To the point where they were both ready to get back inside the comfort and warmth of their home, even if they were a little sad for their incredible night together to end.
Though their date tonight had been sort of last minute, that didn't stop them from having an absolutely amazing time with one another as Matt took her to one of her favorite restaurants that overlooked the city. It was a bit on the more expensive side, which is why they didn't go there all too often, but he knew how much Gabby loved it.
And tonight had been no different, the two enjoying each other's company as they ate their wonderful food, while also sharing with one another before ending the night with Gabby's favorite dessert. The same one she seemed to be complaining about now, but even then he knew she still loved it, as tonight had not only given them the chance to get some quality time together outside their home, but it provided them with a sense of normalcy they hadn't felt in a while.
And that was something they were both extremely grateful for.
"Why did you let me eat that cheesecake?" She playfully pushed, Matt letting out a deep chuckle as he managed to get the door unlocked before opening it up into the darkness of their apartment.
"I was not about to get in between you and your cheesecake." He replied lightheartedly, Gabby giving her own laugh back to him before she stepped inside the security of their home, Matt soon following after her. "I'm a smarter man than that."
"Fair enough." She responded, the two sharing a knowing smile before he closed and locked the door behind them, Matt then following Gabby's lead and starting to slide out of his coat. "I still ate too much, though."
"Yeah, I'd say I did too… But it was all so good. I'm glad we went."
"Me too." She agreed while turning to face him, just as he slid his thick coat off his body. "And thank you again for tonight, I loved it." She reminded him, just as she had frequently throughout their meal, her voice holding nothing but sincerity as he looked up at her, Matt giving her a smile back while reaching out to take her jacket from her.
"You're welcome, baby." He responded softly, prompting her to kiss him quickly before she continued moving further into their home, Gabby only stopping to take off her heels as she sauntered down the hall towards their living room.
Her quick movements caused him to laugh, Matt hanging both their coats up before he grabbed her heels and headed after her, Gabby soon coming into his view just as she sat down on the middle of the couch, letting her body relax back into the cushions.
"Do you not wanna change?" He asked, eyeing the tight dress she'd been in all night, Gabby giving him a swift shake of her head. "Alright, well I'll be back in a minute, babe." Matt told her, holding up her shoes and gesturing towards their bedroom, getting an understanding nod from her in response while she reached for the remote.
"I'll be here." She replied, pulling one last chuckle from him before he continued down the hallway towards their bedroom.
Stepping inside, he flipped on the overhead light before walking in, Matt going straight for their closet while he heard the faint sound of whatever Gabby was watching on TV. When he got to the smaller room, Casey put his wife's heels back in their usual spot before straightening out his back, the man then going through the motions of getting a bit more comfortable. He took off his suit jacket and hung it up, Matt then moving to get off his tie and his shoes before finishing with his belt, all his things now put away in their rightful spot as he stepped back out of their closet.
With Gabby still out there he didn't feel like changing completely right now, Matt opting to just untuck his blue shirt and undo a few of the top buttons while he made his way back towards her, Casey getting about half of the buttons undone by the time he got into their living room, finding her exactly where he left her while she watched TV.
From one quick glance, he knew she was watching one of the shows she liked to see every week, Matt giving her a small smile before he walked past her towards the kitchen.
"You want something to drink?" He called back to her while staring into their fridge, Matt looking over his options before he turned his head back towards his wife.
"Some water would be good, thank you." She responded after a moment, Matt nodding before he started to get their drinks.
He easily got her a glass of ice water, Casey grabbing a beer for himself as he hadn't had anything to drink at dinner due to him driving, Matt now holding their beverages in both hands before he walked back across their living room towards the couch, where Gabby was still curled up in the middle of the furniture.
"Thanks babe." She repeated herself, Matt nodding back at her as he sat down on the sofa, letting his beer rest on top of his knee while Gabby wasted no time in cuddling up to his side. The movement made him smile, Casey glancing down to see her eyes still trained on the television while she took a sip of her water. Without a word he placed a kiss to the side of her head, Matt seeing her smile as she pulled the glass away from her lips before she leaned deeper into his side.
His arm moved to the back of the couch where he could hold onto her, the couple relaxing together into the comfortable furniture while Gabby's show played softly. And that was exactly where they stayed for the next hour or so, Matt content to sit here with her while he occasionally sipped on his beer, moments like this being the best way to end their night as far as he was concerned.
But when her show eventually came to an end, and he felt more and more of body weight resting against him, he knew it was probably time for them both to get to bed, Matt watching the credits roll while he started to run his hand along the side of Gabby's arm.
"Baby…"
"Hmm?" She hummed back, clearly more alert than he realized as he continued stroking her bare skin.
"You ready to go to bed?" He questioned, Gabby lifting her head up off of his shoulder so she could look at him, the gleam already present in her eyes causing him to smile.
"Getting tired already, grandpa?" She teased, Matt releasing a deep laugh before he shook his head.
"No, no. I can stay up for a bit, is there something you want to do?" He asked back, watching as her bottom lip fell between her teeth, the sudden wantingness in her gaze telling him that their night might not be ending as soon as he thought. He'd seen this look from her hundreds of times, a couple times tonight specifically, Matt knowing there was only one thing on her mind right now.
Him.
And if he had to guess, he'd say whatever she was thinking she'd been waiting for all night.
"I have a few things in mind." She went on, his mouth parting slightly before his lips turned up into a smirk.
"Ahh… and will I like those things?" He played along, Gabby being the one to laugh now while she shifted to the edge of the couch, her hand running along his lower stomach as she saw him swallow thickly.
"I have a feeling you will." Gabby spoke, her fingers running along the waistband of his pants before she moved to place her hand on his thigh, Matt forcing out a heavy breath while he watched her stand up from the couch.
From this view he couldn't help but let his eyes rake up and down the back of her, her well-fitting dress clinging to the curves he loved so much as she turned around, Gabby smirking when she noticed exactly where his stares had been. But they didn't stay there as she noticed his bright blue eyes continue to move up her body, Matt lingering on her chest before he finally met her gaze once more, with nothing but an unashamed smile on his face.
"Well, if what you have planned involves you and this dress, we can do whatever you want." He breathed out, feeling that familiar tightness in his dress pants as a light laugh came from his wife.
"I hate to break it to you, but what I was thinking was something more along the lines of you getting me out of this dress." She challenged, Matt's mouth going dry almost instantly as that devilish grin he knew so well appeared over her face, before she reached down and grabbed ahold of the front of his shirt.
The material was balled up in her grip, Matt taking the hint as he quickly pushed himself up from the sofa and let her pull him towards her, Gabby wasting no time in pressing her lips to his with an intense passion that nearly knocked him over. But he quickly recovered, Matt gripping onto her hips and pressing himself into her while their lips moved over one anothers, Gabby undoubtedly able to feel the effect she had on him as she blindly began to lead him back to their bedroom.
Their steps were staggered as neither of them could see where they were going, but they knew their surroundings enough to find their way to the room, Matt's mouth trailing down to her jaw and neck as his back slammed into the doorframe, the lipstick once strategically on her lips now smeared across her face while they managed to find their way inside.
Heavy pants and moans escaped them as she guided him back towards their bed, Matt not even realizing where they were until his legs hit the edge of the mattress, Gabby only disconnecting to push him back as his body fell back onto their bed. He was able to catch himself, Casey now sitting on the edge while his wide, desire-filled eyes stayed focused on her.
His chest was already heaving up and down as she stood in front of him, Gabby giving him nothing more than another longing look while she stepped towards him, her hand coming up to rest over the side of his neck before she finally spoke.
"One thing." She said, Matt somewhat confused by her words. Though he nodded regardless.
"Hmm?" He got out between breaths, Gabby smiling softly before she leaned down to give him a slow kiss.
"Tonight… I'm in charge." She spoke against his lips, causing a deep groan to come from his throat when she stood back up, Matt nodding quickly as he knew without a doubt in his mind that in this moment- or any moment, he'd do anything she wanted.
"Just tell me what to do." He replied, Gabby nodding as she took a slight step back from him.
"Come here." She instructed, her husband wasting no time in listening to her as he got back to his feet.
The second he was within reach her hands were on him, Gabby working on the last few buttons until his shirt was open, leaving his bare chest on display as she slid her palms underneath the material and over the tops of his shoulders, pushing the shirt down to the ground. It fell with a silent thump, her warm hands sliding back down over his exposed skin while Matt watched her every move, unsure of what exactly she'd do next.
Which is exactly what made this so thrilling.
He felt a rush of disappointment run through him when her hands suddenly pulled back from his toned chest, but that feeling went away as quickly as he it came when she reached behind her back to unzip her dress, Matt noticing his throat start to go dry while he waited for her to shed the article of clothing.
He'd been admiring this dress all night, Gabby looking absolutely stunning in the tight, red material. But for as incredible as she was in it, he was more than ready to see her out of it as she reached up to slowly pull the straps down her arms. Thankfully, she didn't stop there, Matt's eyes following her every movement as she carefully pushed the material down her figure until it joined his shirt on the ground.
The blood in his body continued to rush south while he took her in, Matt getting his first look at the matching lace set underneath her clothing- as he'd been in the shower earlier when she got ready. But now he was seeing up close just exactly what she'd been wearing the entire night, the sheer, black material leaving little to the imagination as he had to force himself to breathe, it taking all the self-restraint Matt had to not just take her right now.
He was pulled from his less than pure thoughts of her when he felt her hands move to the waistband of his pants, his dark eyes finding hers once more as she blindly unzipped his trousers and slid her hand inside, Gabby not hesitating to grab ahold of him over his boxers. His breath caught almost instantly, prompting her to smirk before she pressed her lips to his chest.
She started to rub over him through his boxers, the friction around him a lot to handle as his head fell back, Matt's eyes closing while he attempted to steady his breathing. Though with Gabby's lips moving over his chest and neck, while kissing and sometimes biting him, that wasn't the easiest task, Matt taking another deep breath as her hand continued to move methodically over him while her mouth found its way back up to his lips. She gave him one last long, hard kiss before she suddenly pulled back, her hand going with her as Matt's eyes snapped open to find her a step away from him.
Before he could ask any questions, she kicked her dress out of the way and dropped to her knees in front of him, Matt's body tightening in anticipation as his gaze followed her the entire time. She wasn't watching him at first, her eyes focused on his hips while she slowly pulled his pants down before letting his boxers follow, the proud look in her eye evident when she saw first hand just how much of an effect she'd had on him. Once she'd admired him for a moment, it was only then that she looked back up at him through her hooded lashes, Matt's neck clenching while he waited for her to make the next move.
And she didn't disappoint, Gabby reaching up and grabbing a hold of him while maintaining their eye contact. He was forced to take another breath when she held him, Gabby starting slow before gradually picking up her pace. She wasn't going too fast, but it was enough to rile him up, Gabby able to feel him growing beneath her palm as she worked her way up to a quick, but steady pace. One that he was clearly enjoying, Matt's knees nearly buckling when she first ran her hand over his sensitive head.
"Gabby…" He spoke between breaths, his thighs continuing to tremble while she focused on that tender spot before she suddenly stopped. Though it was only for a moment, as without warning she took him into her mouth and immediately started to move back and forth. "Fuck- Baby." He almost shouted as she took a lot of him between her lips, her hand holding onto the rest of him as her palm and mouth moved together, at a pace that was sending shockwaves through his system. "Jesus Christ." He bit out when she sped up even more, her other hand soon coming up to cup him while the backs of his legs pressed up against the edge of their mattress.
Matt was panting heavily, trying to keep himself from thrusting forward into her mouth as he felt that all too familiar tightness begin to build in the pit of his stomach. It was approaching quickly, but with what she was doing to him it wasn't too surprising, Matt fighting against every instinct in his body as he tried to keep control of himself.
But when she took him in further and tightened around him, he knew he wouldn't be able to much longer, Matt nearly losing it then and there as he had to bite back a few choice words, before gently reaching down and holding onto the sides of her head.
"Baby, baby…" He breathed out, causing her to slow down her movements while he let out a shaky breath, before she pulled away from him completely.
She knew why he was stopping her, that things were about to end prematurely if he didn't, his reaction only increasing her want for him as a pleased smile fell onto her face while she wiped off her swollen bottom lip.
He was taking a few moments to catch his breath, Gabby slowly pushing herself up from the ground before he found her gaze once more, the intense look of love in his eyes flooding her entire body with warmth as a much softer smile found its way to her face.
"Lay down." She murmured, Matt matching her grin before he sat down on the bed and slid back until his head was by the pillows, Gabby pulling her underwear down her legs before climbing up on the mattress beside him.
He was already on his back, Gabby hooking her leg up over him to straddle him before she sat down on his stomach, their bare skin against one another allowing Matt to feel how she was just as ready and excited as he was. His hands came up to run over her sides, her skin soft and intoxicating as he found himself unable to stop touching her.
And that impulse only continued when she reached back and unclasped her bra, letting it fall forward off her chest before tossing it aside, giving Matt the perfect view of her as she sat on top of him. They could both feel his body reacting to her, his palm instinctively moving up to cup her breast while rubbing back and forth over her nipple, his other hand finding its way up to her face where he held onto her cheek lovingly, letting his thumb brush over her bottom lip.
"You're so beautiful." He said with nothing but admiration in his voice, Gabby unable to stop herself from smiling before she turned to gently bite down on his thumb. "My gorgeous girl." He continued on, like he was talking to himself as much as he was her, a shaky breath escaping her lips when he teased her nipple once more.
She focused on how good his attention to detail felt for a few more moments before she needed to take control once more, Gabby regaining herself as she lifted up off of him just enough, one hand resting on his torso for balance while her other reached down between them to grab ahold of him, Matt forcing a breath out between his teeth when she gave him a few quick strokes before slowly sliding down onto him.
It was like all the air was suddenly gone from the room the moment he was inside her, Matt choking on his own breath when he felt her wrap around him, Gabby letting out a low moan of her own as she came to a stop once her body was flush against his.
She took a few moments to adjust to him and he gave her all the time she needed, Casey doing nothing but running his hands all over her skin while her body worked on accommodating him, their close contact setting both their bodies on fire as after a couple long seconds, Gabby slowly started to move up and down.
His hands flew to her hips in an effort to help her, Matt letting Gabby set the pace as she rode him, occasional moans and whines coming from both of them while her body continuously tightened around him. They stayed at their slow pace at first until Gabby was ready to pick things up, Matt groaning when she suddenly started to move a lot faster.
Faster than he was expecting as she'd pull up before slamming back down onto him, heat already building within both of them as intense need coursed through their systems. The minutes that passed felt like seconds, the sight in front of him heaven sent as he watched her move on top of him, Matt lifting his hips up off the bed to meet her thrust for thrust causing yelps and cries of pleasure to leave her lips.
"Matt…" She whimpered right after he thrusted into her, Matt knowing exactly what she was wanting as her own body was slowing down, that alone a sign of how close she was to the release she craved. And he was more than willing to help her get there, Casey sliding one hand from her hip to down between her legs before he slowly started to rub over her sensitive bundle of nerves.
Something that almost sounded like an overwhelmed shriek came from her as he applied direct pressure to one of the most sensitive parts of her, prompting him to keep doing exactly what he already was as he moved his hand in time with his thrusts, Gabby's entire body feeling the euphoric sensations rushing through her as she got closer and closer with every passing second.
She was hardly able to move at this point, Matt doing all the work as he continued to pump up into her, Gabby's entire body shaking as he slid his free hand from her waist up to her chest. He massaged over her breasts for a moment, the cold of his wedding band against her hot skin driving her insane, before he continued to glide his hand further up her chest. The tips of his fingers were placed delicately against the base of her neck with barely any pressure, but it was enough for her to feel it while his palm rested across her upper chest.
Even in the heat of the moment he knew he needed to be careful, so as to not bring up any bad memories for her. But when she brought her hand up to rest over his across her upper chest, he knew that was the furthest thing from her mind right now as she was just desperate to touch as much of him as she could, her other hand darting out to grab ahold of his wrist while he moved mercilessly over her center.
"Jesus Christ, Gabby." He choked out when she tightened around him, his voice barely audible through her cries and moans as she slowly started to angle herself towards him, that being a tell tale sign that her body was giving out on her as she was just moments away from tumbling over that edge.
It happened mere seconds later, Gabby coming undone with a loud cry as her entire body shook on top of him, Matt feeling her release around him while she rode over wave after wave of undeniable pleasure, Casey not slowing down once as he himself was getting close.
While she was deep within that spine tingling ecstasy, it gave Matt the chance to completely take over, his body now thrusting up into hers at a lightning pace while he moved his palm back to her chest. He held onto her until she all but collapsed down to her elbows on top of him, Casey never slowing his movements while her body continuously tightened around him.
Her heavy pants and whines morphed into a surprised cry when she came undone yet again, before she could even finish her first orgasm, Gabby in the midst of an insane high that pulled Matt right over that edge with her, Casey holding her down to him before releasing deep inside of her.
Gabby fell down against him completely as her body took all he had to give, their chests heaving while a thin layer of sweat covered them both, his movements slowing down to a complete stop as they did all they could to regain a sense of their surroundings.
Her breaths were shaky, her body still euphorically achy and trembling in the aftershocks of the multiple orgasms he had given her before he slowly pulled out, a low whine leaving her lips while her thoroughly exhausted form stayed put on top of him.
"...You okay?" He asked after catching his breath, his hand running up and down her back lovingly as a lazy, content smile formed over her tired features.
"I've… never been better." She got out, Matt matching her grin before he placed a kiss to the top of her head, the two staying put as they weren't in any hurry to move.
And though neither of them said it out loud, he had a feeling they probably wouldn't be for a while.
