Hello to all! This is Episode 67 of the last arc of Volume 5: The True Dragon Knight
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 67: Terror of the Espada Act VI! The Perfect Arrancars!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Time passed as Yugi had been more alone since his loss to Kojan. The others worried for him and Naruto after they learned of Jiraiya's death by the hands of the Akatsuki leader, Pain. Jonouchi wasn't worried for Yugi as he knew Ichigo would cheer him up.
Visiting a few he knew that died, Yugi asked the tombs of his parents if he can actually be this Dragon Knight they think he can be. Ichigo appeared and asked Yugi out to Kaiba Land. Puzzled, Yugi accepted and the two had a somewhat good time. However, the real reason for the date was that Ichigo asked kindly to duel Yugi, hoping for the two to finally go all out and get that type of fun dueling action she wanted. Yugi, hesitant, accepted and they duel on the Duel Arenas.
Immediately with Yugi's first turn, he made the worst mistake and misplayed badly. He would continue to misplay, all of it having to do with Kojan's voice mocking him from their previous encounter. Ichigo took huge advantage in the duel to the point of nearly beating Yugi but didn't. She then questioned him, certain now that she needed to reach out to him and realized Yugi was afraid to end up like those who seek out more power. Yugi admitted that, reminding himself of how weak he still was and yet did not want to end up like those who wanted power.
Ichigo smiled as she disagreed with him, knowing Yugi can seek out power because he did not only have her and the others but because he was kind, because he fought for more than selfish things and by fighting for who he is, he will never fall.
Taken back by her words, Yugi smiled as he prepared to repay her words with a real duel and show his feelings for her… However, their moment is ruined as 3 beings appear over Domino, getting Yugi's attention. These were new Arrancars that Aizen created just to see how strong they are to the Dragon Knight.
Will Yugi and Ichigo be okay to face these new or well familiar foes?
What will happen next?
And now the conclusion... last left off in the previous episode:
Having asked her out beforehand, Erika is with Ryan on a date in a café. It was Erika's decision, blushing at the idea of the girls watching her on her date like they've had with Ichigo. Still, she feels like she has to cheer him up, able to tell Ryan has been quiet since that mission went wrong.
''So… nice place, right?'' Doing an Ichigo when she isn't sure how to start their conversation, Erika asks him to get speaking. Ryan is distracted in his thoughts, able to hear her but reply quietly. ''It is.''
Wronging to see him like this, she asks him right to the point. ''Worried you might not be of any help?''
Startled, Ryan looks at her and frowns, nodding. ''A little.''
Erika smiles softly, able to understand his frustrations but she tells him in a comforting tone. ''It's okay. I feel the same and why I want to get stronger too. Besides, it took Yugi a matter of months to become strong and you're already getting there.''
Ryan oddly smiles, finding Erika amazing every time she says stuff like that. He sighs, feeling a bit better but concerned how Yugi is feeling from his end.
''I will try then but I gotta admit, Yugi is in a bind against Kojan. He's a really strong bloke.'' He admits, thinking he's feeling worse than himself. Erika isn't worried as she knows Ichigo and Jonouchi have a plan to cheer him up,
''I'm sure he-'' Erika begins to explain with a smile before her vision suddenly becomes so blurry it hurts her mind. She staggers on her table, getting Ryan's attention. ''Erika?''
She gasps heavily, holding herself together. It happens to her, a vision that refuses to show her. She can only visibly see figures and then a distorted, almost muted scream. Erika breathes, calming down as she just realizes Ryan is right beside her, worrying for her.
''Sorry. When I get visions of the future, they're sometimes fogged up like…'' Erika, trying to smile towards him, begins to explain about the chance her visions don't show her the future and soon her smile becomes a frown, recalling the last times this always happens. ''Like something bad is about to happen.''
Yugi and Ichigo have been trying to run out of the Kaiba Dome with their mons chasing right behind them.
"Pick up, come on…'' Complaining as she's been calling Erika, Jenny, anyone; Ichigo has been unable to call anyone. She shakes her phone as her cellphone has no signal. Yugi has been doing the same but no signal. Guess they're on their own.
Gulping as she still feels this pressure even without sensory abilities, Ichigo asks the tricolor head. ''You think those you're feeling are that strong?''
''Without a doubt.'' Yugi simply puts it with grim words. His hands shake, showing fear out of all of this as he proclaims with a shaken voice. ''All we can hope is that the others will notice the fight but Ichigo-kun…''
But even his words stagger away, hesitant that even with everyone else; this is not a fight any of them can win. He eyes Ichigo and asks kindly of her. ''Don't get fully involved in this.''
This shocks the red cherry head, staring towards them. Yugi wouldn't ask her to stay away from the fighting unless it would be too much for her.
''These guys feel stronger than Pain and this worries me.'' Yugi tells her; able to feel their auras are stronger than the Six Paths of Pain if not stronger than the Espadas they fought. He's scared Ichigo will get hurt a lot and he won't forgive himself if anything happens to her. He looks at her, directly to her eyes as he pleads to her. ''Trust me, please.''
Ichigo looks back at his eyes and blushes, nodding softly. ''I promise Nya.''
Yugi smiles softly as he then eyes Riolu and Skitty and warns them. ''You guys too, please.''
Skitty groans, feeling the pressure too while Riolu nods firmly.
"... Yugi-kun." Yugi turns to Ichigo who tries to smile at him who looks sad. "I'm sorry... about the stuff with how I acted when I wasn't myself."
The tricolor head nearly stops on his tracks but he frowns still.
"I-I know this is a bad time but I want to tell you that I get why you didn't want to cheer me up." The red cherry head begins expressing, smiling with a saddened face. She imagines Yugi blame himself more with how Mew Blackberry did to her and that's why he wasn't the one to talk her out from her self-doubt and despair.
Yugi still doesn't say a word as Ichigo finishes saying. "I just want to tell you that if you blame yourself; never stop being who you are."
The tricolor head's eyes startled as he looks back at her, seeing her smiling brightly towards him.
"Promise me Nya." She asks him again, wanting that kid who showed her kindness and compassionate that day to always be true to who he is.
Yugi looks at her, not saying a word. He just smiles and nods. "I'll try."
Ichigo smiles again, knowing he'll do his best. Skitty and Riolu oddly smile at the two.
The four finally reached and ran out of the building and outside, looking around at first but saw no one.
''So where are-'' Ichigo begins to say in confusion until she sees something and her eyes widen, backing away in horror. ''Oh my god…''
Yugi and the two mons check and they too widen their eyes, staring down at all the bodies of the people in the park and all of them dead. So many lifeless bodies, their souls completely crushed or swallowed out of their bodies. Riolu can feel that with his aura, not sensing any auras in the unconscious bodies. Skitty trembles behind Ichigo's legs who makes a horrific face. Yugi, however, frowns extremely enraged, furious as his eyes shake not of fear but of complete fury.
''How interesting.'' Hearing a voice, a strong pressure hits the group from above, pushing them downward except Yugi standing his ground and Ichigo is pushed onto her knees.
''I had expected you would be crushed by my pressure. I suppose you've become stronger than, Dragon Knight.'' The same familiar voice announces calmly. Ichigo blinks as she recalls that voice from somewhere before.
Yugi looks up and sees three figures floating in the air, coated in white cloaks with hoods. He frowns, feeling the aura better and it makes him madder.
''So I wasn't wrong that I sensed your aura…'' The tricolor head begins to say, gazing mad towards one of the figures, mainly the one on the right. ''Maximilian-kun.''
Scoffing, one of the hooded figures takes his cloak to reveal he is the former and dead prince of the Empire, Maximilian. His appearance resembles the same, especially his cold blue eyes, but his outfit is altered as it still resembles the prince-like outfit he wore but it is more Hollow-like with a hole in his chest where he was shot. He wears a neck-like, Hollow-like bone design neck collar, protecting his neck as his Civic Crown is white and instead of the oak shapes; they are bones with the middle part resembling a skull. He also wields a similar scabbard with a sword within it around his waist.
Ichigo widens her eyes in disbelief, uttering in horror. ''N-no way. I thought he died?''
''He did.'' Yugi tells her, confirming he did die. Other than Yugi's aura ability, they did find the flatten remains of Maximilian after the last battle in Gallia. A piece of his arm is found crushed and a bloody pile. Likely he was squashed when Metal Overlord was being created. However, the Maximilian above them is more dead than alive.
''He's not human. He's an Arrancar.'' Yugi theorizes with a gaze, feeling the empty Hollowness from him, more than usual. Ichigo still doesn't get it but from what Rukia told her with her cute rabbit drawings: Souls who cannot move on will become Hollow.
''Furious you lost your right to be king of Gallia?'' Yugi calls out at the former prince/king with a firm taunt. Maximilian gazes down at Yugi, irritated by this child and all he took from him… along with that robot.
''Livid, to be precise.'' Maximilian corrects him, remaining cold yet composure but his eyes and aura are as venomous as his soul. ''Other than that backstabbing machine, you took everything from me.''
However, he soon smirks as he tells the boy, remembering the last words he told him. ''But I will tell you like you said to me long ago: I had no power but now I have power!''
''… Cool.'' Yugi just says uncaring, enraging Maximilian with a frown. The tricolor head's purple eyes now narrow towards another figure, feeling his twisted aura and calling him out. "And you too huh?''
''Hehehe, it's been a while hasn't it?'' The other figure then proclaims laughing like the mad monster he was. He soon removes his cloak, revealing himself to be Yami Marik. His appearance remains the same though the right side of his face, mainly his eye, is gone and replaced with a twisted-like Hollow Hole. His appearance is still the same with his black tank top as well as his pants, his cape is also white but longer and more wrapped around his body like a coat. He still has the Eye of Anubis, glowing on his forehead but turned red rather than golden yellow. He carries a scabbard with Egyptian designs and within is a golden short sword of similar Egyptian design with the Eye of Anubis on the bottom hilt.
''Like a ghost from the past! Hehehe…'' Yami Marik begins to announce before he full blown laughter as he sticks out his even longer tongue. ''HAHAHAHA!''
Riolu and Skitty, hiding behind a wall, watch with freak out expressions across their faces.
"Oh crap, is that-'' Literally wetting herself remembering this psychopath, Ichigo begins to ask and Yugi answers firmly. ''Marik-kun's darkness.''
Ichigo gulps and then immediately questions. ''How does this make any sense? He was an evil spirit, right?''
''It won't matter to a Hollow?'' Yugi proclaims, assuming since he's always been a soul; he would count as a Hollow.
Yugi now stares down at the last one who still wore the hoodie cloak as well as a strange Hollow Mask over his face. Yet… Yugi feels unease by him most of all… like a shiver across his back. Even this coldness made reading his aura impossible... but it was... familiar.
''Who's the last one then Nya?'' Ichigo asks Yugi who remains silent, not exactly sure… yet, but it scares him to even assume.
''Now shall I kill or torture you or the Pharaoh first.'' Yami Marik asks the tricolor head eagerly, licking his lips. He's been dying, literally till that man brought them back to life as these dark souls. Perfect for someone like him. Without his good half, nothing can stop him from killing anyone he desires but most importantly kill the two who stood in his way, twice in his life. ''After what you did, ruining my fun and victories, I won't show any mercy.''
Yugi glares as his Yin-Yang Dragon eyes activate. Yami Marik grins more eagerly as he tries to launch himself until Maximilian pushes him away with Spiritual Pressure.
''Enough, foul beast!'' The former king tells him coldly, having his score to settle. ''He is mine-''
He pauses as the masked hooded figure simply touches his shoulder. Maximilian immediately sweats, cold and shivering. It's like he's entered a void with no air, no sound, nothing but darkness consuming him. Soon the figure removes his hand and Maximilian begins breathing, gasping heavily.
Ichigo watches that concern as she can tell even Yami Marik is scared.
''… Right. We will deal with the Dragon Knight'' Maximilian just utters calmly, aware of what the mission is. He eyes Yami Marik who smirks and proclaims eagerly. ''Fine, I'll share.''
Yugi glares upset that Aizen has the means to bring those two back. So that Hogyoku can do stuff like that.
''What does Aizen-kun want with me?'' The tricolor head asks unimpressed at the dead villains, almost like they are not a problem for him. ''Because I know you two aren't doing this for revenge but what your master wants-''
Glaring at his insulting words, Maximilian shouts as he releases a wave of spiritual energy. ''DO NOT INSULT ME!''
Ichigo panics in terror as do both mons. Yugi sweats worrying, realizing this is really bad if he doesn't go all out. Sheathing his sword as he then creates multiple Dragon Clones, the real Yugi chants. ''Dragon of the Heavens. Roar across the boundaries of reality and fantasy, and grant me the blade that creates impossibilities!''
Maximilian doesn't bother attacking but Yami Marik does, laughing as he comes charging and moves around with Sonido, striking down each Dragon Clone till they all explode into smoke.
''BURST LIMIT!'' Yugi shouts loudly as he unsheathes his sword and releases a burst of energy. The wave pushes Yami Marik in surprise while Maximilian keeps his distance. He watches closely as Yugi emerges, fully transformed as he shouts, pointing his Dragon Blade towards all 3 enemies. ''The Power of our Friendship, the Dragon Blade!''
The villains look down as Yugi glares, warning Ichigo. ''Ichigo-kun, get away okay.''
Ichigo gulps and nods. She gets up as she and the two mons follow behind her until she yelps as Yami Marik appears in front of her way.
''Going so soon, lovely lady?'' He asks her with a sinister small smirk before widening. Ichigo trembles until Yami Marik widens his eyes as Yugi appears in front of him, already slamming his blade right through his head.
''Go!'' Yugi shouts at her and Ichigo doesn't respond, shaking, as she runs off in a hurry. Yugi focuses on slashing the Arrancar only for his head to reform and move around like-
''Slime?'' Yugi utters as he pulls back. He watches the slime head reforms and becomes solid as Yami Marik laughs eagerly.
''Careful, partner. It seems he has similar abilities to Revival Slime.'' Atem theorizes to Yugi's dismay, meaning Yami Marik could heal from any of his attacks.
''Yugi, do not ask us twice to give you our power.'' Yin Dragon immediately tells Yugi, knowing this fight will need all the power to overcome these odds. Yang Dragon agrees, also offering the same encouragement. ''These two Arrancars are much more powerful than you think they are. So please use our power at full strength.''
Yugi simply nods, taking their word.
Maximilian eyes the woman running and isn't concerned as he descends and appears instantly behind Yugi,
Yami Marik grins, unsheathing his short sword, oddly resembling a bit like the blade of the Millennium Rod as a sharp short blade.
Maximilian unsheathes his sword, revealing it to be a more European dark blue-white dressed sword with the guard hilt and a matching colored scabbard attached on his waist side.
Yugi doesn't look or turn as he breathes calmly, grabbing his Dragon Blade with both hands.
Soon all three vanish before Ichigo's very eyes and suddenly are alarmed by the waves of clashes from around the park. She looks up and can at least notice the three are fighting but she can't keep up with them as they dash around, sparks flying out from each spot.
Yugi moves his eyes around, swinging his Dragon Blade around to clash and block a sneak attack slash from Yami Marik as he leaps up and tries to kick Maximilian who tries to slash him from the side. He pushes them both back until Maximilian then swings his sword again with such force onto Yugi's that it slams the young Dragon Knight into a wall. Yami Marik laughs as he comes at Yugi, thrusting his sword as Yugi moves out the way just barely as the Arrancar strikes the wall instead and it shatters into pieces.
Widening his eyes, Yugi distances himself but both Arrancar instantly appear before him with Sonido, swinging their swords expertly with Yugi forced to defend. Maximilian proceeds to swing his sword with swift strikes as Yugi blocks, repels or dodges away from the swings till the two lock blades once more fiercely.
''You must feel pathetic.'' Sparks flying as their weapons grind over the other, Maximilian taunts Yugi with a smug yet cold scowl. ''I have gain new life and power to end your life and obtain Gallia like I always desired.''
He then bashes Yugi back and swings swiftly as Yugi still manages to parry each one of his swings until he's slash across the left forearm by Maximilian second to last second as he then thrusts his sword forward but Yugi dashes out of the way with Dragon Speed Burst.
''Once I complete my end with Sosuke Aizen and get rid of you, I will rebuild my Empire and conquer Gallia which rightfully belongs to me!'' Maximilian proclaims determinedly, going to conquer his land.
''… You haven't changed one bit.'' Muttering irritated as left arm regenerates the wound, Yugi says as he quickly blocks a swing from Yami Marik. Grinning, Yami Marik starts thrusting his short sword at him with rapid speed, forcing Yugi to back away more.
''And I don't need to ask that you haven't either.'' Yugi questions him as Yami Marik appears behind him but Yugi sees it coming, already twirling his body around and swinging his blade at him. Yami Marik leaps over his attack, standing upside down as he laughs. He dives towards him as Yugi releases his grip of his Dragon Sword and grabs it with his other hand as he spins around in the other direction and swings his weapon at him. Yami Marik smirks as the blade cuts through him but does nothing as that part of his body turns into slime and then he moves away.
''Hahaha… What can I say? Once I get rid of you and the Pharaoh, I'll have my fun taking the lives of others including my weaker self.'' The evil personality of Marik expresses rather excitedly, picturing the numerous victims he will have to play with.
''All their screams and terror will be the greatest pleasure I will experience. HAHAHA!'' Yami Marik declares in a loud laugh.
Looking back at the numerous dead bodies and imagining all the deaths they'll do, Yugi's enters his one tailed Yin-Yang Dragon Mode
''None of that…'' Uttering his words but unable to contain his anger any longer, Yugi shouts furiously. ''WILL EVER HAPPEN!''
He suddenly vanishes and before both Arrancar can react, Yami Marik is slashed across the chest by Yugi as he thrusted into the ground. He then disappears within a second and slashes Maximilian who barely tries to guard with his sword, slash down and then is sent crashing onto the ground.
Ichigo watches from a distance and purrs, expressing happiness. ''He got them!''
Skitty also purrs but Riolu still has a look of worry. Yugi also has the same face, looking down before his eyes look up and Maximilian is once more in the air, having only some dirt on him. Yugi then narrows his glare as Maximilian holds up something and it's the top tip of the Dragon Blade. Ichigo widens her eyes and looks at Yugi's Dragon Blade, seeing that it is indeed damaged.
''T-The Dragon Blade Nya!'' She shouts in shock. Yugi is aware of that as Maximilian squeezes and breaks the piece of the blade as he comes charging at him. The young Dragon Knight watches as he swings his sword and Yugi repels. The two clash again but unlike the last times; Maximilian unleashes half of his power and it cuts through the Dragon Blade with ease. He continues to swing his sword but Yugi pulls away, slowly landing on the ground.
''My sword is much sharper than your overweight blade.'' Maximilian proclaims, swiping his sword to the side. Yami Marik reappears beside him, laughing as he declares. ''And my body is purely slime. Your attacks will fail to ever touch me! HAHAHA!''
Frowning and upset, Yugi places his free hand over the damaged Dragon Blade.
''Like I care!'' Shouting irritated, Yugi swipes the damaged blade as the Dragon Blade repairs instantly as he enters his second tail. He glares determinedly, not going to lose as he proclaims. ''I won't lose to either of you!''
He slams both Chakra tails onto the ground and he's launched upward right at the two, swinging his blade. He proceeds to swing his blade around but both Arrancars counter with their own swings, clashing once more. Yugi scowls seriously as he swings faster as each swing cuts through the air and yet both Arrancars evade their attacks, almost not trying.
''Yugi-kun is hitting harder and faster…'' Ichigo analyzes the fight to the best of her ability and can tell none of Yugi's attacks are hitting them. ''But none of Yugi's attacks are doing enough.''
Riolu is also observing the fight with his aura and frowns; these people are monsters.
Trying to hit them for 5 minutes straight, Yugi breathes heavily as both Maximilian and Yami Marik are unscratched or drained.
''What's wrong? Is this not your strongest?'' Maximilian questions him, mocking the young Dragon Knight with an irritated glare. Gripping on the hilt of his large blade as swirls of purple fiery energy wraps around it, Yugi shouts as he comes charging at the villains. ''DRAGONAUN BLADE SLASH!''
He swings forward at the two but Maximilian swings his sword and blocks Yugi's attack so hard it tosses his blade upward. However, Yugi thrusts both his energy tails and pushes Maximilian upward. The young Dragon Knight then dashes upward and shouts, catching his blade and swinging his blade downward. ''DRAGONAUN AETHER!''
Maximilian watches calmly as Yugi swings downward but then Yami Marik suddenly appears and shouts excitedly. ''Naïve-naïve!''
His body explodes into slime and forms a wall, blocking the attack dead on and then the slime wall pounces the young Dragon Knight backwards as he lands on the ground. Yugi is horrified that his attack is blocked and repelled so easily. Something was really wrong as his attacks should be able to do more and yet nothing.
''I have to admit, you two are stronger than the Espadas I fought before.'' Yugi tries taunting, hiding the fact that he's actually afraid.
''Is that so? Want to know how right you are?'' Yami Marik then proclaims, very ominous while grinning. Yugi looks at him confused by that statement.
''Allow me to enlighten you.'' Maximilian then speaks up, revealing their strength. ''We were modified as Arrancars with your Dragon Knight powers and DNA.''
''Nani?'' Yugi utters out, both angrily yet shocked. Even Ichigo overhears that and widens her eyes in dismay.
''The time you fought the man who brought us back was a means to your end.'' Maximilian then reveals to the foolish knight, shocking him further. So back then, when Aizen challenged him… it was all a means to an end.
''In other words, our new bodies and abilities are designed by you, able to fight and surpass a Dragon Knight! Hahaha!'' Yami Marik then declares with a sinister laughter.
Yugi stares in dismay, more horrified by this revelation. It was a plan Aizen set as he was applied with a unique Kido-like ''drug'', created by Szayelaporro but designed by Aizen to take some portions of Yugi's attacks that Aizen would tank during their confrontation.
Not only that but Aizen instructed Ulquiorra to take a sample of Yugi's blood and any piece of his DNA from his fights up to a point.
''Hehe, in other worlds…'' Yami Marik then says as he explodes in a more frightening laugh. ''We are a type of killers for a Dragon Knight! HAHAHA!''
Ichigo gasps in such shock. That Aizen really is too smart to think ahead this long.
''THAT DAMN MEATBAG BASTARD!'' Yin Dragon erupts in furious roars, feeling Yugi's anger boiling. Yang Dragon feels it, becoming annoyed as he says with a firm growl. ''That entire fight back then was truly never to beat, Yugi-san.''
''Damn it. Aizen plotted 3 steps ahead.'' Atem then says telepathically, enraged by Aizen's strategic mind. If he's capable of thinking this ahead while being that overpowered, then figuring out his real aim is much more difficult.
Yami Marik can see and hear Atem, even in spirit form, as he mocks him. ''Hehehe, ironic no? Your dominated half's powers made us powerful, stronger than your host!''
Maximilian then proclaims, raising his sword towards Yugi. ''There is nothing you can do to even beat us. You will perish, boy.''
Ichigo frowns, looking at Yugi and blinking as a third energy shrouded tail manifests.
Gripping harder onto the Dragon Blade that he cuts himself, blood spilling through its handle, Yugi soon yells out in fury. ''I DON'T CARE!''
His energy wing widens and flaps strongly as Yugi glares intensely, so irritated that he doesn't care about holding any more punches. He won't lose to some kind of lab rats Aizen created out of parts of himself; he won't lose to them!
''I WILL NOT LOSE TO MONSTERS LIKE YOU!'' Yugi roars furiously as he raises his Dragon Blade over his head with both hands. ''ROAR, HEAVENLY DRAGON!''
Purple flames erupt outward of the blade, manifesting and reshaping into the purple energy serpent-like dragon. It roars as its red eyes glow.
''DRAGONAUN TENGOKU!'' Yugi roars, swinging his blade forward and releases his energy dragon upon the two Arrancars at full force. Maximilian and Yami Marik stagger as the dragon is already below them, widening its fangs to devour them.
Can Yugi really be able to beat these Dragon Knight Killers?
Commercial Break:
Yugi: I don't care if Aizen-kun made you two with my powers and blood; that doesn't compare to my desire to beat you!
Ichigo: Go, Yugi-kun! Smack them hard with your heavenly dragon Nya!
Still worried about Naruto, Judai decides to help Alicia in baking bread. She's thankful he's helping her as Usagi is too and she's well… Alicia sweat drops that at the least Usagi is helping.
But just then the three feel a rush, like a pulse that the world around them trembles for a moment.
"You guys felt that?'' Judai asks with Usagi nodding her head staggered. ''Y-yea…''
Alicia looks outside and widens her eyes to see a purple serpent thing- And she just realizes who that is.
Having felt that during his daily patrol, Kurosaki tries soaring out of Karakura Town in Bankai State. He's felt it for a while now but could also feel Yugi. Likely, he's fighting someone so he puts his trust he would handle it but then something larger reveals itself, eclipsing Yugi's power.
''Damn it! What the hell is going on?!'' Ichigo shouts in a panic, rushing over there in a hurry.
Also feeling the energy and then the Dragonaun Tengoku, Erika immediately runs out of the restaurant as Ryan chases her after paying the bill. He chases her into an alley as Erika has already transformed into her Mew form.
''Please-please be okay!'' She begs mentally, hoping Ichigo is okay as her visions are still blurry but it involves Ichigo. No doubt about it.
A few minutes before the attack, Kojan looks down at the city from a high rooftop. He touches his stomach as he's fully recovered. Manectric really saved him there as he pets her beside him.
''Manec.'' Manectric barks, whining happily. Kojan looks at her, wishing he can smile but looks forward, thinking of Yugi. That naïve idiot…
''Yugi, why can't you understand I'm doing this for?'' Kojan questions himself, wondering why that so-called smart fool is not able to understand it. He's seen the dangers of a Dragon Knight and has nearly died a few times already. He's also aware of his intentions so can't he understand. So why?
Gritting his teeth angrily, Kojan complains in frustration. ''I don't want you to suffer, to go through Hell being a Dragon Knight.''
Holding up his Dragon Sword to his face, Kojan eyes his frowning expression through the reflection of his sword. He was taught to be a true Dragon Knight by the one who trains future Dragon Knights. He understands his powers and has fully mastered them compared to his. No, not just that, he was taught he was the right person to be a Dragon Knight.
''I must be the only Dragon Knight. Only I can.'' He expresses, knowing he is the only one to carry this weight, this hell alone. Kojan's thoughts immediately return to that masked man, causing him to widen his eyes with hate that his Sharingan eyes triggered.
''No matter what it takes, I must be that Dragon Knight. No matter what; no matter what it takes… no matter what I must do.'' He vows to reflect on his sword, knowing he must be the one and no one else… no matter how deep he journeys into the darkness.
Closing his eyes for a moment before opening them up with his normal eyes now present, Kojan declares as he twirls his sword. ''Time to find him and settle things. Yugi should be-''
Just then the world shakes to his surprise and Manectric too. They turn around to see the Dragonaun Tengoku unleashed, not far from here. Kojan sweat drops, simply uttering out. ''Over there…''
He jumps off the roof near the walls with Manectric following him. Kojan bounces off the walls as well as his partner, wondering what is happening over there as he focuses… and soon Kojan panics as he moves faster in a hurry.
Ichigo and Skitty watch in amazement as the Dragonaun Tengoku roars and consumes both scared Maximilian and Yami Marik.
''He did it Nya!'' The red cherry head purrs happily, knowing that Yugi-
However, before the energy dragon unleashes its power, it's suddenly slash in half. Ichigo sees this, terrified, as the heavenly dragon dissolves into nothing. "W-What?!''
Yugi and Riolu both widen their eyes horrified, sensing this just barely a second late. They look up at the one responsible: The masked Arrancar who already sheaths his sword away. Yami Marik hisses angrily while Maximilian actually sweats, not thinking the Dragon Knight's signature attack was that strong.
Growling, Yugi demands annoyed at the third Arrancar. ''And who are you behind the mask? Another person I-''
Before he can finish his words, Yugi's eyes tremble as a slash cuts through his right shoulder and down that side of his chest, so deep that it cuts through him. He gasps with a horrified face that it was the masked Arrancar who slashed him so fast and unsheathed his sword too fast that he couldn't react to him.
Even Ichigo couldn't react to it, yelling in horror. ''YUGI-KUN!''
Snapping out, the energy shroud of Yin-Yang Dragon's form begins to regenerate the wound. Yugi tries to move but then the masked Arrancar proceeds slashing Yugi over and over with such speed and power while Yugi screams, powerless to even block them.
Riolu watches with a terrified expression, not able to read the enemy's strength.
The masked Arrancar soon thrusts his blade right to his chest but Yugi, with his arm regenerated, blocks the slash only for the blade to pierce through it and he's sent crashing to the ground.
The masked Arrancar sheaths his sword away. Yami Marik watches this and grins widely.
''My chance!'' He shouts excitedly, diving downward at Yugi. Ichigo panics as Yugi tries getting up, throwing up blood as his whole body has multiple stab holes. Yami Marik is faster, reaching him and literally kicking Yugi across the gut so hard it launches him up in the sky.
''Enjoy my TORMENTO BALAS!'' Yami Marik shouts, firing a barrage of miniature Balas across his body. The blasts hit Yugi over and over across his body as he yells out in pain.
''HAHAHA! STINGS, DON'T IT?!'' Yami Marik laughs insanely. Soon his attack stops long enough for Maximilian to appear in front of Yugi, gasping in agony from the last attack.
''Now die, child!'' He declares, holding his sword forward as it glows and then he declares, swinging it at the weakened Dragon Knight. ''HUELGAS DE TIRANO!''
He performs multiple swinging strikes, enhanced with Balas, across Yugi's body.
''GAAAWW!'' Yugi screams in more agony, each slash piercing through his body and the only thing keeping his body together is Yin-Yang Dragon's power. This goes on till the 40th slash sends Yugi crashing again onto the ground, almost like a pile of blood.
Ichigo watches this, pale and terrified to see him like this. It's almost like he's dying and it breaks her heart that she's not doing anything.
''I promise him…'' She reminds herself mentally, biting her lips at this frustration. Yami Marik snickers as he declares eagerly, charging right at the wounded Yugi. ''Now die, little weakling!''
Yugi does not move, almost like he's lifeless. Ichigo watches with a look of fear, squeezing her hands tightly as she promised him… but then flashes of her friends causes her to realize even if she promised; she vows to never let anyone close to her to die if she could do something.
''But I also promised I wouldn't let anyone die either, including you Nya!'' Making up her mind with no hesitation; Ichigo dashes forward towards Yugi and shouts, kissing her Mew Pendant. ''MEW MEW STRAWBERRY, METAMORPHOSIS!''
Yami Marik barely reacts as a pink light flashes towards Yugi, causing him to cover his eyes. But as he does, now close range to Yugi, a kick smacks him away, revealing to be Mew Ichigo. The cat girl glares as she turns and rushes to Yugi's aide. She manifests her Strawberry Bell and starts healing him wounds.
''Yugi-kun, please hear me Nya!'' She begs him, seeing him grunting. He partly opens one of his eyes, uttering out weakly. ''I-I'm okay…''
Ichigo breathes, feeling relief that he's okay. However, Yugi tries to move his left hand, unable to, and just tries to warn her to leave. ''Y-You gotta-''
Looking at him seriously, the cat girl protests as she tells him firmly. ''I'm not leaving till we both go together!''
Yugi looks at her weakly, blushing… but right now she shouldn't-
''How touching.'' Hissing, Mew Ichigo turns to see Yami Marik reappearing with Maximilian. The still evil entity laughs, sticking out his long tongue as he proclaims. ''Maybe I should kill her in front of your eyes, Yugi.''
Yugi tries to growl, his eyes burning like fire as Yin-Yang's energy tries to heal him faster. Mew Ichigo growls though, going to beat this jerk badly. Yami Marik smirks, loving that look as he walks forward but Maximilian stops him.
''Enough, fiend.'' He orders him coldly. ''Remember why we're here.''
Yami Marik groans of annoyance but nods, remembering why they're here to begin with.
''I won't let you hurt Yugi-kun!'' Mew Ichigo protests, holding her Strawberry Bell forward. Maximilian turns towards this woman and tells her. ''You have nothing to be concerned about. We didn't come here to kill him, yet.''
That causes the Mew Mew to be confused. If they're not here to kill Yugi, then why are they really here?
Taking a step forward, Maximilian reveals in a tone he would speak as a royal prince. ''We came to get you, Ichigo Momomiya. That man Aizen wishes to meet you, personally.''
Yugi widens his one eye while Skitty and Riolu are in shock too.
''… Nya?'' Mew Ichigo utters out, really confused. She could swear they're confusing her with Kurosaki but he did say Momomiya and Aizen isn't dumb to make such an obvious mistake.
''Well he can meet me here!'' Ichigo yells at him, not interested in going and meeting that man. Maximilian huffs at her refusal and makes it clear. ''This isn't a request. Surrender yourself willingly or by force.''
Frowning madder, Mew Ichigo's body glows and enters her Evolution form, once more protesting their offer. ''I said no Nya!''
''Hehehe, force it is.'' Yami Marik proclaims eagerly with a wide grin.
Hearing this, out of instinct, the two Pokémons leap in and charge forward.
''RIOFU!'' Riolu barks, unleashing Force Palm at the enemy.
''NYA!'' Skitty purrs angrily, unleashing Zen Headbutt.
Yami Marik stands there and grins, swinging his sword and counters their attacks so hard that the two mons are thrusted back into the ground. They groan in pain as Yami Marik declares with a crazy grin. ''Ah, cute killable creatures!''
He comes dashing at the two to chop off their heads until he's punched across the face by Mew Ichigo, hissing enraged. She then delivers not one strong upward kick across the face of the stun Yami Marik but follows it with a swift, thrusting punch across his gut, launching the Arrancar away from her and the mons, splatting upon a wall.
Maximilian doesn't even turn to check on him as he approaches the cat girl. She hisses as she comes at him, swinging multiple claw swipes and kicks. He evades each one of them with ease as he reaches to grab her neck but the cat girl front flips, pushing him back before leaping up.
''SECRET TECHNIQUE: CAT DROP KICK!'' Mew Ichigo shouts, extending her right leg up and swings it downward as an ax kick. Maximilian sees it and slaps the kick with such strength it tosses Mew Ichigo backwards, crashing near Yugi. Maximilian proceeds to walk forward towards her but the Mew Mew pounces back up on her feet and picks up Yugi's Dragon Blade forward.
''RIBBON CHIDORI BLADE!'' Mew Ichigo shouts, charging forward as the blade is erupted in electricity. Maximilian watches, not planning to withdraw his sword but to evade-
Yami Marik dashes back in and laughs, swinging his short sword and cuts halfway through the Dragon Blade.
''Weak! SUCH AN ATTACK-'' He begins to shout insanely until he's suddenly electrified by the electricity coursing through the blade. He yells out in agony as Maximilian raises his hand and fires a Cero through Yami Marik and hits the cat girl, consuming her. It was weak but destroyed a portion of the Dragon Blade's steel as it hit the ground as well as the remains of Yami Marik's slime form hitting the ground. He groans in an eerie voice, trying to regenerate himself.
''Fool speaks too soon.'' Maximilian proclaims as he turns and his eyes spread wide to see the cat girl right in front of him, glaring mad, as she shouts, thrusting his extended right arm forward. ''RIBBON CHIDORI!''
A burst of electricity flies out from her hand, trying to stab through Maximilian but he responds, holding his left hand forward. ''ESCUDO DEL EMPERADOR.''
Suddenly a spiritual-like shield manifests and blocks the Mew Mew's lightning attack and repels it away to her horror. She's tossed backwards but backflips to regain her composure until her feet splat on something. She looks down and it's slime which causes her to panic. The slime spreads and shows Yami Marik's slime-like face to her horror. She tries to move her legs but the slime is wrapped around them.
''PERNO DE LIMO!'' He shouts, as a brief moment his face becomes like a Hollow and spits out a barrage of slime-like bolts shot upon the cat girl. Mew Ichigo yells out as the slime shots cover her body more and more that her arms are restrained.
''C-can't move…'' She utters helplessly, causing Yami Marik to declare way too excitedly. ''What's wrong! All sticky!''
He shoots out more bolts, covering more of the cat girl even more till she finds her trapped in a jelly-like slime trap similar to Mew Pudding's Ribbon Pudding Inferno. She tries to not breathe but the slime is more toxic than pudding, making her gag up and gargle. Yami Marik reforms fully as he laughs, loving every moment of this show. ''DROWN! DROWN AND SUFFER HAHAHAHA!''
Yugi watches, struggling to get up as does Skitty, purring out. Mew Ichigo tries to break free but the slime pudding is way too solid and eventually her eyes become dazed and blank. She soon stops resisting, causing Yugi to panic.
''I-ICHIGO-KUN!'' The tricolor head shouts out, trying to wake her up but his words can't penetrate through the slime.
''…'' Losing her consciousness quickly, Mew Ichigo can't do anything but pass out but… but she can't or Yugi… Yugi… It becomes harder to think and too scared to focus. There was one thing though, one thing that will save her from this situation… and she has no choice to object to the idea.
''I-I need help…'' Her body tries to twitch as beg for her help again before her consciousness drifts away. ''P-please, Nya…''
Silence consumes the Mew Mew… until a gentle giggle fills her mind.
''All you needed was ask, Ichigo-chan.'' The voice purrs joyfully as a violet pink outline forms around the cat girl's body. Mew Ichigo soon opens her more feline, feral eyes.
''RRRRAAAWWWW!'' Letting out a strong roar, Mew Ichigo's power courses through her trap till the slime suddenly explodes. Yami Marik watches in awe as Mew Ichigo lands on the ground, freed. Yugi sees them, worried by her aura but mainly relieved as is Skitty.
''Ho? My, such a feisty kitten-'' Taunting the woman with a grin, Yami Marik's words are cut off as Mew Ichigo is now kicking him across the face, this time much faster and harder. He gags, widening his eyes as he did not saw her-
''RIBBON STRAWBERRY SURPRISE~.'' Yami Marik's eyes widen as the cat girl's heart-shaped weapon is in front of his face and immediately unleashes its pink magical blast, slamming the Arrancar into a wall.
Giggling seductive yet sadist, the cat girl turns her head towards Maximilian as she taunts him with a purr. ''You want a turn too, Nya~?''
Skitty groans worrying, seeing Ichigo like this. Even Riolu is cautious by the cat girl's personality change
''Annoying woman.'' Maximilian utters, taking a step and once more he widens his eyes as the cat girl comes swinging a punch at him, directly at him. He reacts by using Sonido until he's suddenly pulled towards her, noticing the electrical ribbons around his body, shocking him in place. He has little time to react as her punch connects, bashing the Arrancar into the ground before she kicks him upward. Purring as she twirls around her left hand, Mew Ichigo shouts playfully, thrusting the same hand forward as electricity flies around it. ''RIBBON CHIDORI~!''
She thrusts her hand into Maximilian with such force that it launches him into multiple walls away. Mew Ichigo pants heavily, her gloved hand partly burned from her attack. She ignores this as she rushes to Yugi's aid, using her power to heal him.
''Get up, Yugi-kun! I need your-'' She yells at him, complaining about his laziness, so they can get out of here until a familiar voice speaks, chuckling. ''Hehehe. That hurt…''
Mew Ichigo widens her eyes, turning to see Yami Marik appearing once more as does Maximilian. None of her attacks did not do any damage to them, not even enough to scratch him. In fact, the blow Ichigo gave Yami Marik actually got him excited, expressing evilly and psychopathic. ''THAT HURT SO MUCH, HAHAHA!''
Even with her more sexual, sadistic nature; Ichigo can't help but tremble by this thing that resembles human.
''NOW TO CHOP YOUR-'' Yami Marik begins to declare as he dashes right at her. Yugi opens both eyes, trying to get onto a knee to stop him but before he or Ichigo can do anything, a large exoskeleton arm surrounded in black energy appears and grabs the Arrancar by the pal of its hand. This alarms everyone as does Mew Ichigo, almost like a ghost, as Kojan appears beside her.
''Kojan-kun!'' Yugi utters in surprise. Mew Ichigo turns, eyeing the Uchiha who gazes towards the ''human'' in the grip of his Susanoo's arm.
''What is this? Who the hell are-'' Yami Marik begins to question him angrily until the Susanoo arm squeezes him and explodes into slime. Already seeing his ability beforehand and seeing with his Mangekyou Sharingan eyes that the slime is alive, Kojan forms hand seals.
''FIRE RELEASE: GREAT FIREBALL TECHNIQUE!'' He shouts and breathes a large fireball at the slime, consuming it before exploding. Shrieks of Yami Marik's voice screams out from the burned slime as it hits the ground while the flames still torrent forward. Maximilian braces himself with one arm, nullifying the flames with his spiritual shield.
''Not worth telling you.'' Kojan just says unimpressed. Maximilian glares, irritated by this one as he comes at him until Manectric gets in his way, breathing Flamethrower which Maximilian evades to the left until he's headbutt by the mon, smacking him aside. Skitty and Riolu stare at the mon, taken back by her power.
''Manec!'' She barks, unleashing Discharge at the enemy and causing Maximilian to back away quickly until a Fuma Shuriken comes at his neck. He reacts and slashes it, only for the blades of the weapon to shoot and wrap him up. He scoffs until each blade explodes with Explosive Tags on each blade, blasting him away.
Yugi watches that astonished but Mew Ichigo hisses as she glares towards Kojan. She knows what he's up to and prepares for him too.
''Don't tell me you're here to fight Yugi-kun!'' Mew Ichigo yells at him, hissing angrily.
Turning to acknowledge her, Kojan answers her honestly. ''I was but change of plans.''
He now turns towards the wounded Yugi and smirks, taunting him further. ''Kinda humiliating you lost to a bunch of Hollows.''
Yugi just frowns, slightly annoyed by his words, as he explains it. ''Aizen-kun revived a few of my enemies with my DNA and a portion of my powers. Like they're Hybrid Dragon Knights or Dragon Knight Killers''
Now that shocks Kojan, taking back what he just said. ''Never mind what I said.''
Now aware of the threat, Kojan declares, unsheathing his Dragon Sword. ''I'll kill every one of them.''
Yugi watches, kinda glad he's going to help them. Mew Ichigo huffs as she declares, manifesting her Strawberry Rose Bell. ''I'm going to help you too and you better not-''
''Fine, back me up.'' Mew Ichigo blinks awkwardly, looking back at Kojan who glares up at the masked Arrancar, just floating there but not doing anything.
''… Really Nya?! Even after you beat me with your Susanoo thing?'' She asks him, her dark nature overpowered by her surprising curiosity. Kojan doesn't turn to face her but he's well awed. She said after he beat her with his Susanoo but that's not how he beat her… unless that's the last thing she remembered before that transformation.
''So she doesn't remember that form?'' He questions himself mentally, realizing that Ichigo forgot. Kojan thinks it's best to not mention what happens in the rest of their fight. His eyes now narrow to slime reforming to become Yami Marik, breathing angrily as Maximilian dashes back, also partly burned.
''D-damn bastard…'' Yami Marik utters enraged, veins showing across his eyeballs.
Kojan scoffs as he reaches and grabs on the hilt of his sheathed Dragon Sword, declaring calmly. ''Burst Limit will end both of you.''
''Like we'll-'' Maximilian begins to protest however Kojan's Mangekyou Sharingan eyes glow and black flames surround him, manifesting as his armored Susanoo. The armored being screeches like a phoenix.
''You were-'' Kojan begins to mock them with a smug face… until out of nowhere as his eyes widen that the masked Arrancar appears out of nowhere before Kojan, inside his Susanoo. Yugi staggers as does Kojan as the masked figure swings his unseen sword at him. Kojan, barely reacting even with his Mangekyou Sharingan eyes, blocks the sword swing and blocks it but the attack swing is still strong enough to slam Kojan to the sides, shooting him out of his Susanoo and he crashes into multiple walls. Kojan's Susanoo vanishes to both Yugi and Mew Ichigo's horror that he could do that.
''Kojan-kun!'' Yugi shouts, trying to lift himself up but gasps in pain. Mew Ichigo sweats as she faces the masked Arrancar who approaches her. She hisses, telling him as she forms another Ribbon Chidori. ''I'm not going-''
The Arrancar vanishes with Sonido and reappears between the two, slashing Yugi once more while sending him away as he then slams the end hilt of his sword across the cat girl's gut and almost goes right through her. She gasps in such agony as her eyes blank out and she drops onto her knees.
Yugi watches, bleeding out again as he shouts in terror. ''ICHIGO-KUN!''
Riolu and Skitty try to get up faster and come at the Arrancar as well as a furious Manectric only for the figure to swing his sword, releasing a wave that bashes all 3 mons onto the ground, flinging them away. He unsheathes his sword as he carries the cat girl by his shoulder.
Maximilian stares at him and just nods, proclaiming. ''Very well, let's leave.''
''W-wait…'' The three Arrancars turn towards Yugi, pulling himself up as his body is still bleeding. He gasps loudly, struggling to get up but he can't move much. He growls angrily, raising his right arm forward and clenches it, declaring strongly. ''I said wait! We're not-''
His words are cut off as the sky pierce above them and emerges from the pitch black is a Menos Grande. The creature breathes, howling, before shooting out a beam of yellow energy from its mouth, sealing the 3 Arrancars and Ichigo in a yellow rectangle-shaped barrier. Yugi panics as the 3 Arrancars are lifted upward towards the massive Hollow, taking them back to Hueco Mundo.
''A Menos Grande's Negación ability is to pull any ally or anyone inside its wall beam of energy back to Hueco Mundo. It is impossible to break in or out of it.'' Yin Dragon informs Yugi, sounding grimly as there is nothing else they can do.
''So long, little Yugi. HAHAHA!'' Yami Marik proclaims in laughter, tongue sticking out. Yugi watches horrified as Ichigo is still in there, seeing her seemingly unconscious body floating. No, he can't let this happen as his fists shake.
"Wait..." Breathing heavily as his teeth gritted; Yugi forces his body to move, his eyes fixated towards his Strawberry Kitten. He can't… he can't!
''I SAID WAIT!'' Shouting out like a roar, Yugi demands furiously, full of fury. His roar echoes loudly, forcefully manifesting a 4th energy tail. This surprises Yin-Yang Dragon and Atem as Yugi runs forward, moving faster. He grabs the hilt of the Dragon Blade, stabbed into the ground, before leaping upward right towards them. He growls filled with fury as his Dragon Blade repairs itself instantly. He thrusts his blade onto the surface of the yellow barrier, sparks flying out as he tries cutting through it and nothing as he leaps closer to Ichigo.
''Stop, Yugi-san! Your body is still recovering. You can't push-'' Yang Dragon tries to stop his owner, feeling Yugi's body being torn apart but Yugi cuts him up, telepathically as he bleeds out physically. ''THIS IS ICHIGO-KUN! I CAN'T GIVE UP ON HER!''
''AND I WON'T LET THEM TAKE HER!'' He then roars out loud, viciously, as his energy wings and tails extend up to where the Arrancars are floating and pulls Yugi up to them. He proceeds to slash the energy wall, over and over, with strong and fast slashes. However, none of his attacks could do anything as his body is being torn apart by the overwork on his body as well as the strain with the additional tail form.
''ICHIGO-KUN!'' Yet, Yugi doesn't care as he shouts out her name. Yami Marik laughs as he sticks his tongue at him. Mew Ichigo grunts, her body twitching as she hears his roars towards her. ''I WILL GET YOU OUT! JUST WAIT A LITTLE MORE, ICHIGO-KUN!''
He performs Dragonaun Blade Slash, slashing the wall even harder but it does no damage as his wounds bleed faster than the regeneration. Yugi gasps out blood but ignores it, roaring as he continues attacking, not caring if he dies.
Yin-Yang Dragon growls, unable to watch more that Yugi is tearing his body apart. If it goes on, he will die and then they fail on their promise.
"STOP IT! / STOP IT!'' Both dragons beg him loudly but Yugi refuses, still slashing. Even Atem sees this is not worth it, reasoning with him telepathically. ''You have to stop, partner!''
Yugi growls, more of his wounds becoming worse but doesn't care, just shouting her name. ''ICHIGO-KUN!''
Waking up immediately, Mew Ichigo swings a downward super punch across the masked Arrancar's chest, releasing herself. It knocks him onto the back of the other wall. The cat girl flips up, standing straight, as she releases Ribbon Chidori Current, zapping both Yami Marik and Maximilian, paralyzing them.
Ichigo floats towards Yugi, frightening how much more blood is bleeding from his wounds. She watches him jab his Dragon Blade into the wall but instead it starts snapping off from the tip. He doesn't care, thrusting harder with the hand gripping tightly and covered with his blood as he slams his other hand on the surface of the wall, trying to touch her.
''I WILL SAVE YOU, JUST WAIT A LITTLE MORE AND-'' Yugi begins yelling from the other side, vowing he will save her but his words are interrupted by Ichigo, smiling softly, as she speaks up kindly. ''It's okay Nya.''
Yugi widens his eyes, staring at her. The cat girl tries to smile, bleak that this situation is especially for Yugi but she can't give up on hope, not again. Instead, Ichigo uses her head and just smiles, telling him confidently. ''You will save me but you can't like this. So please, first, keep that promise Nya.''
''… Ichigo-kun…'' Yugi utters weakly, not understanding this but the promise part… but this is still insane. He shakes his head in protest, still grinding his Dragon Blade that is cracking part by this unbreakable wall.
Seeing him become depressed as she reaches the side of her hair and puts them down, Mew Ichigo then says softly as she reaches to the surface of the wall with her right hand. ''You will save me. I know that because only you can do it.''
Focusing all of her energy in that single spot; the Mew Mew makes the smallest of holes so her hand can fit through as it holds onto Yugi's hand. He stares deeply at her, seeing the fear yet the strong belief Ichigo has in him.
''So please…'' Ichigo asks him, smiling happily with a purr. ''I'm counting on you, my heroic Dragon Knight Nya~.''
Yugi blushes, trying to say something that he will until his eyes widen in pain. Ichigo soon panics, turning to see the masked Arrancar stab Yugi into his chest through the energy wall as his sword is glowing like an energy blade… almost familiar...
The young Dragon Knight gasps, grunting in pain, as the dragon shaped energy shroud vanishes. He starts to fall backwards, gripping on the hand Ichigo touches and sees her two red hair ribbons that she uses to tie her pigtails.
''YUGI-KUN!'' Mew Ichigo screams, slamming the surface of the wall as she looks down as Yugi looks up weakly as his vision becomes darker.
''I-Ichigo…kun…'' He utters out as his Burst Limit vanishes from his body and falls further down. Ichigo screams from her end as the Menos Grande brings them through the portal and soon closes it up entirely.
Yugi watches till the very end as he finally blacks out. He falls, likely to die if not for being caught by Kojan's Susanoo arm. The Uchiha gasps angrily, gazing up at where they were but now gone.
''Damn it…'' He utters angrily as he lands gently on the ground. The skeleton arm puts Yugi gently on the floor, unconscious while the Dragon Sword is held tight around the palm of his hand. The Susanoo vanishes as Kojan kneels down next to him, calling him out. ''Yugi, hey Yugi!''
Manectric walks up next to her master, helping Riolu and Skitty to reach her. The blue dog-like mon touches Yugi's left arm for a response and sees him stir.
''I-Ich…'' Yugi utters weakly, almost like he's having a bad dream. ''I-Ichigo…kun…''
Skitty looks up at the sky and begins sobbing.
Kojan glares up silently at the sky before looking down, sad for Yugi. He should at least take him to his-
''Yugi!'' Hearing two voices, Kojan stands up quickly and turns around to see Kurosaki and Mew Erika arriving at the scene. The two breathe only to startle up to see Kojan here. Scoffing, Kojan turns around and immediately vanishes along with Manectric.
Kurosaki just ignores this as he rushes to Yugi's aid while Mew Erika spots Skitty so Ichigo- Wait, where is-
''I-Ichigo… kun…'' Erika staggers, turning around to look at Yugi's unconscious body. She begins to tense up, worrying about where Ichigo is. She's not sure but she starts crying, like something terrible has happened.
Yugi couldn't save Ichigo but can he bring her back? Can he keep her promise?

It had been a few days since Ichigo was taken to the world of the Hollows. Not sure what he can do and being pressured on many sides to do or not do anything, Yugi gets advice from an old friend. Will this be enough for him to save Ichigo? Or will he need more than advice?

Ryan: We have to do something. Ichigo is off in that other dimension and-
Judai: We can't do much.
Ed: Wow… seriously?
Judai: I know from experience. All we can do is to wait it out… or till Yugi-san makes a decision. Knowing what he'll do; all we can do is that he can save her.
Ruby frowns, eyeing Jonouchi: Can he? Yugi doesn't seem at all happy and-
Jonouchi: I know someone who will convince Yugi, without a doubt! Next time in Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Knight Reborn: The Vanishing Strawberry! Stand back up again, Yugi!

Author's Note: OH MAN… A lot to take in.
Like it's not far-fetched that when a being dies, their soul would either go to the afterlife or be unable to die in peace. Or in Bleach, they become Hollows and then Aizen, with the Hogyoku, turns them into Arrancars without trying to survive and evolve or fail. SO… Yami Marik died, again, as well as Maximilian (Good job Metal Sonic, very brutal) and Aizen revived them so they can have their revenge on Yugi. SO… who is the third guy, HMM… not sure.
Also these Arrancars, due to Aizen's desires to make them stronger than the Dragon Knight with Yugi's DNA and portions of his Dragon Knight powers, are designed to be stronger than any Espada, with the exception to Ulquiorra so it is frightening that only Yugi and to an extent Kojan will stand a chance… and sadly Yugi didn't, at the time being.
Now why would Aizen have his new Perfect ''Dragon Knight Killer'' Arrancars take and capture Ichigo? Well I don't know, what was Ichigo's last fight? *eyes Kojan and the Inner Tiger* AH RIGHT… plus remember what Aizen said to Akumu too. There you go.
NOW YES, THIS DOES FEEL FAMILIAR?! *eyes Rukia and Orihime* In this case… this is kinda the third time Ichigo has been kidnapped and not just Yugi wants her to come back home where her friends and loved ones are waiting for her. Point is you guys can guess what the first half of Volume 6 will be about.
Next time, a decision and a choice… and to stand back up.
