Hello to all! This is Episode 70 of the last arc of Volume 5: The True Dragon Knight
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 70: Lost in a Digital Translation!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Yugi, led by Shadow Knight, arrived at a strange, seemingly abandoned warehouse to discover a protective Kido barrier. They entered and learned this is the Vizored hideout. Meeting Shinji and his group, Shadow Knight requested Hachigen and his Kido skills to form a barrier so Yugi can enter the Path of the Dragon, in his Burst Limit form.
Yugi proceeded to do so as the Kido barrier surrounded him. He focused to enter his soul within the Dragon Blade… only to find himself in another world and likely another memory. He was then confronted by a strange man before it was revealed to be a clone and killed by another who went by a SOLDIER 1st Class, Zack Fair.
Able to tell he was a nice guy and vice versa, the two got to know each other and Yugi decided to help Zack in his mission to stop an ally who will do something unforgivable.
Following him, Yugi and Zack confronted the other SOLDIER, Genesis, who planned to complete the final plan of his LOVELESS goal. However, not only accepting the Lifestream, he used a strange black Mako crystal to transform into a being that resembles but was Dark Leader Dragon.
Yugi and Zack fought the transformed Genesis, more destructive than before and none of their attacks were able to do any damage. Things looked back until Zack, refusing to give up on his dreams and of Angeal's as he wielded his old SOLDIER sword, the weapon glowed and transformed into a somewhat Dragon Sword.
With his new power, Zack damaged the monster Genesis and with Yugi, in his Burst Limit form, delivered the final blow to destroy the crystal. With it destroyed, Genesis reverted back to human form but cured his degradation. Regardless, he and Zack had a final duel and Zack delivered the Omnislash, using the Buster Sword, to defeat his friend.
Yugi and Zack taught Genesis something that he began to realize and Yugi was suddenly disappearing. He began to bid his farewell to Zack, wishing him luck to reunite with the person he loves. Zack felt the same, giving Yugi his final words to have dreams that a hero should have.
With that Yugi was going to be taken deep in the Dragon Sword, until he was pulled elsewhere and head butted by mistake from a yellow tiny dinosaur.
What will happen next?
And now the conclusion... last left off in the previous episode:
The Visored watch as Yugi is still meditating, seemingly calm and not moving. Riolu and Skitty also watch until Riolu's eyes glow, detecting a strange aura that just appears. Not only that but Shadow Knight feels something is wrong with Yugi.
''…'' Turning quietly, Shadow Knight narrows his head to an empty corner and speaks towards that direction. ''Why are you interfering with his training?''
Shinji raises an eyebrow to that direction as Hiyori questions more puzzled. ''Eh? Who the hell are you talking-''
Suddenly a portal manifests out of thin air, startling her and the other Visoreds. Skitty panics as she hides behind Riolu, gripping on his back who blushes.
''Show yourself, Prana.'' Shadow Knight demands calmly. A giggle is heard from within the portal. Emerging out of it is the white masked woman as the portal closes up behind her. Shinji and the others startle heavily, reaching for their Zanpakutos, except Hachigen who is focused on the barrier, but then their hands freezing up by Prana's power.
''Pardon me for interfering.'' Prana apologizes, bowing to Shadow Knight before she reveals to him. ''I also wished to test Yugi with another thing, if you allow me.''
Shadow Knight hums, figuring as much. He remains silent before answering her. ''… Very well but you will stay here.''
Prana giggles as she expresses happily, standing beside him. ''I'm content to be here with you, Shadow Knight.''
Riolu groans, puzzled by this human, feeling that she's not evil but what did she do to Yugi?
Soon the Visoreds regain control of their hands.
''Eh?'' Shinji begins to question Shadow Knight who answers him as he looks back towards Yugi's direction. ''Don't mind her; she is a student of mines.''
The former Captain blinks, surprised about that. Shadow Knight doesn't say another word as he stares at Yugi, curious what test did Prana- or rather Sera, put him on.
A portal manifests as Yugi crashes hard on the ground. Grunting, Yugi rubs the back of his head.
"Ow…'' He mutters, having a headache from the crash but also whoever headbutt him. ''Why the head…?''
The tricolor head pulls himself up; his legs wobbly but he's at least okay. He looks in front of him and Yugi immediately sweat drops, staring before some kind of cyberspace-like world. It feels like he's inside a computer, almost reminding him of the Virtual Worlds he's been in before.
''Hey, are you okay?!'' Blinking, Yugi turns around with a voice. He blinks as he stares upon a 11 year old boy with lightly tanned skin, spiky brown hair and brown eyes that resembles the one he met in that memory of sorts except taller than he was as a small child. He wears a pair of similar light gray goggles on his forehead over a blue headband and sports a blue T-shirt with orange stars on the sleeves, a yellow pocket on each side of the chest, and three buttons on the top, over a slightly longer yellow T-shirt with a turtleneck collar. He also wears brown cargo shorts, a black armband on the left arm, white gloves, and whitish-blue loose socks with blue and white sneakers with yellow triangles on them.
''Y-yea…'' Yugi just mutters, answering him. He still rubs the back of his head, asking confused. ''What even hit me?''
''Sorry, that would be Agumon.'' The young kid reveals to him as another voice speaks up. ''Hey Taichi, you have something I could eat.''
Yugi looks behind the kid who turns and startles to look at a yellow, tiny dinosaur-like monster with green eyes. It has 4 fingered claws and 3 toe claws with a stump-like tiny tail and fangs.
The kid chuckles, patting the dinosaur's head who rubs his stomach growling and tells him. ''Bad timing, Agumon. We just reunited again and-''
Checking his jacket, Yugi feels something and speaks up, interrupting. ''Wait, I got something!''
The two turn as Yugi hands the kid an energy bar that Jenny gave him, half a dozen of them for his journey. He then blinks, questioning himself mentally. ''Wait, why is that in my jacket when this is me in spirit form ish?''
''Best you don't ask any more questions.'' The voice of Yin Dragon echoes within his head. Yugi sweat drops, not going as he then asks. ''So where are we?''
The child and the yellow tiny dinosaur blink, looking around as they just notice where they are.
''Not sure. I came across this place with my partner after we reunited.'' The kid explains himself with the yellow dinosaur nodding in agreement. ''I wanted to see Taichi again and we found a way to do so though I don't know this place. It's no Digital World.''
''Digital World?'' Yugi questions out loud, never hearing that name before. The young kid chuckles a bit nervous, not sure how to explain it so he instead says ''Eh long story. Agumon is a Digital Monster. Digimon for short!''
The tricolor head hums surprised; his purple eyes gleaming of amazement. ''Awesome!''
He partly kneels down to the yellow dinosaur, patting his head as he feels real; able to feel him. Not just that but he can even feel an aura within this creature but also able to see the digital energy within him.
''So you're like digital but very alive creature?'' Yugi inquires, wanting to be sure and Agumon nods, smiling, eating the energy bar he got. ''Yea! Exactly!''
Yugi oddly chuckles, glad to hear so.
''So how are you here?'' The kid asks the tricolor head who sweat drops. Other than that those portals manifesting between him; he's not sure but them appearing like that wasn't natural either. It's like something or someone did it on purpose. Shadow Knight? No, he knows he's in a hurry to save Ichigo. Then the Dragon Knight? It already tested him but… maybe.
''That's a good question but I guess I'll return back once I likely help you two.'' Yugi answers him with the best of his understanding. Agumon burps, liking strange treats as he asks. ''You got more that?''
Smiling, Yugi pulls out another energy bra, unwraps it and tosses it towards him. Agumon opens his mouth wide and bites it down, chewing on it happily.
Looking around from a 360° degree check, the kid says pretty certainly. ''Well Agumon and I just need to exit this place and return to our world.''
''Then let's get out.'' Yugi declares, trusting him from his aura alone; it was almost fiery like a flame.
The three begin their journey, looking across this bizarre cybernetic land. Yugi is amazed by this place as the kid then says whistling with an amazed small grin. ''Man, this place is like candy land for Koshiro.''
He blinks, realizing the older guy with him has no idea who he's talking about so he informs him. ''He's a friend of mine, really smart. He prefers being called Izzy.''
''Cool!'' Yugi says with a smile. The kid smiles back as he starts talking about his other friends. ''I actually have a lot of friends. A girl who's well a pain in my butt, another who thinks of herself as a princess or something like that, an older boy who's like our Senpai…''
''And Yamato and Takeru!'' Agumon then says with a happy smile. The kid sweat drops as he has to admit it too. ''Yea, my so-called best friend and his cool little brother.''
Agumon snickers as those two just need more patching up after a certain accident but he knows the two will patch things over.
''And my little sister.'' The kid then says with a smile. Yugi hums, a bit curious before asking him. ''And they all have Digimon too?''
The kid grins, amazed he guessed it as he responds. ''Yea! Our Digimon are our partners and we went through a lot.''
He recalls all the adventures they went with their partners, facing many foes and saving the Digital World. It was painful to leave them back to their world but their mission back then was done.
''We haven't seen them for about a year. We all missed them, especially me.'' The kid admits with Agumon getting emotional and hugging him, crying happily out of joy. ''Ah, Taichi!''
Yugi watches this, smiling more. Just then Agumon stops as he whiffs a scent. He gets serious, warning his partner. ''Taichi, I smell danger.''
''Eh?'' The kid utters puzzled with Yugi looking around and then feels it. Suddenly a purple seed-like blast comes at them but Yugi reacts by grabbing the two and pushes them away as the blast hits where they were standing. This alarms the two as they turn and see their attacker.
It is a strange green, purple vine-like oval body entity that resembles a seed or cell with a yellow eye and a pink colored pupil and strange round tip. It hovers above the ground as its creepy eye stares at the three.
''Is that another Digimon?'' Yugi asks, sensing a similar digital-like aura coming from this one but unlike Agumon's; this one is hostile.
''Don't know this one.'' Agumon confirms seriously, also not liking this thing.
The creature stares before it shoots out like a long, extending tube on the bottom half of its body and fires acid bubbles at them. This alarms the kid and his Digimon until Yugi intercepts, unsheathing the Dragon Sword and slashing each bubble swiftly and fast. He breathes until he sweat-drops as the blade of the sword has melted off.
''Woah, thanks…!'' The kid tries to thank him but he just realizes he has no clue what his name is. Yugi snickers, also forgetting to introduce himself as he does so. ''Yugi is name!''
The kid oddly laughs nervously, also forgetting to introduce himself and proceeds to do so with a smile. ''And I'm Taichi Kamiya!''
Yugi smiles as he suddenly grabs him and Agumon again and dashes as more bubbles hit and explode where they stood. They appear inches away on the left.
''Man you move quick Yugi!'' Taichi expresses, really taken back how he moves. Yugi nods as he asks them, gazing at the strange enemy attacking them. ''Now what is that thing?''
''Taichi, that's a Digimon.'' Agumon reveals glaring at the enemy. Taichi is surprised a Digimon is here but no point complaining as he declares. ''Guess we'll have to fight it.''
He pulls out a rectangle-like, very light blue device with 3 blue buttons, a small antenna and a rectangle screen. The device also has strange symbols, almost like writing, around the outer borders of the small screen in a circle plate and within the borders of the screen in a rectangle shape.
He also pulls out under his shirt a golden-like, rectangle necklace with the image that resembles an orange lining pattern sun.
''Agumon, evolve!'' Taichi commands as he grips on his Digivice. Agumon nods firmly, focusing. However, nothing happened. Taichi looks at his Digivice, shaking it and nothing happens.
''Come on. Work!'' He shouts, really confused as this usually works. Yugi sweat drops at what they're doing until the enemy shoots out more acid bubbles.
''Focus!'' He shouts at them and Taichi panics, seeing the bubbles coming at them. Agumon dashes in between and shouts, flames forming between its fangs. ''BABY FLAME!''
He spits out flame breath from its mouth, destroying the bubbles and even consumes the small egg-like Digimon in its flames.
''Nice one Agumon.'' Taichi praises his mon. Agumon nods, smiling though worried. He couldn't evolve and even Taichi is concerned too, looking at his Digivice.
''What's with this thing?'' He questions, really puzzled. Yugi watches confused.
Agumon then smells something and becomes alarmed. ''Um Taichi…''
Taichi lifts his head to his partner and then back to the flames of Agumon's attack being blown away, watching in shock as the enemy Digimon begins to evolve.
It now becomes what resembles a green flapjack octopus with an eyespot in the front and a pair of eyes resembling those of a snail infected with Leucochloridium paradoxum on top of its head. It has nine short tendrils tipped with drills and a pair of purple arms. It has a disk-like mouth with six triangular plates on its underside as well as roundish antennas with red, yellow colors on the tips. Its main eye is pink with yellow pupils.
''It evolved?!'' Taichi utters in dismay with Yugi watching in surprise, asking out loud. "Guess Digimon can also-''
''Argo…mon?'' Yugi's words are cut short by the evolved Digimon suddenly speaking rather ominously like it has no clue what it is. Then it shoots out stronger acid bubbles from its giant eye, faster than before.
Panicking, Yugi swipes the melted end of the Dragon Sword and reforms as he shouts, swinging. "DRAGON SLICE ATTACK!''
He swings and fires a golden energy slash, cutting through the bubbles and hits this Argomon directly. It explodes on impact. Yugi sighs while Taichi and Agumon are astonished.
''That takes care of-'' The tricolor head begins to say confidently but then the same confused voice speaks. ''Consume…''
The explosion of Yugi's attack clears up and reveals the Digimon unscratched and worse, it begins to multiply. The group is shocked with Yugi then uttering in surprise. ''M-maybe not.''
Will Yugi and Taichi be able to do anything against this unknown enemy?
Commercial Break:
Yugi: So are all Digital Monsters like this?
Taichi: This is almost nothing but yea, for sure!
Yugi along with Taichi and Agumon stare upon the multiplied Argomons.
"They can multiple?'' The tricolor head utters in surprise. Taichi is also surprised too but he just smiles at the challenge, declaring. "Guess we'll take them down together!''
The tricolor head eyes him and smiles as he's not saying that because he's not overconfident; he isn't afraid by the odds. He nods as he declares, holding his sword forward. ''Let's, Taichi-kun!''
He comes charging with Agumon joining in. The multiple Argomon charge as well as Agumon swings his claws, smacking one after the other while Yugi leaps upward and shouts, spinning the Dragon Sword by its white ribbon. ''DRAGON HARPOON SLASH!''
He launches it forward and pierces through a few of them as Agumon shoots out more flames from its fangs.
''Awesome! He can do that with that sword?'' Taichi questions as he watches with a smile. ''Really cool!''
Yugi dashes forward, still swinging around his sword like before he approaches the original Argomon. He pulls back his sword by the handle, twirling it before he swings at it.
Argomon stands there and instantly begins to glow. Yugi startles as he backs away as Agumon defeats more of the copies.
The three watch as Argomon has evolved into a purple and green spherical Digimon with an eyespot in the front and three pairs of eyes resembling those of a snail infected with Leucochloridium paradoxum on top of its head. Its tendrils are tipped with drills and it has a pair of vine arms ending in thorn covered hands, releasing electricity from them.
''The original evolved again!'' Yugi utters in surprise. The evolved Argomon looks at them before curling up its tentacles on its arms into balls, resembling fists, before declaring that it comes at them. ''Brut Knuckle.''
It moves fast and punches both Agumon and Yugi. The tricolor head blocks with the Dragon Sword but Agumon gets punched as both are electrified by the fists.
Then Argomon unwraps the tentacles and restrains Agumon with its tentacles, squeezing him alive. The yellow dinosaur screams in pain.
''Agumon!'' Taichi shouts, running up but gets intercepted by the rest of the copies, smacking him back. Seeing this, Yugi enters Yin-Yang Dragon mode and repels the arm back, slashing both it and the tentacles off Agumon. Free, Agumon shouts as it spins around. ''SPITFIRE!''
He shoots multiple small blasts of fire from its mouth, hitting as many of the Argomon copies and then the original, hitting it back.
Taichi sighs of relief being freed as he glares at Argomon. Feeling his partner's emotion, Agumon shouts as he comes charging at the enemy. ''CROSS FIGHT!''
Gathers fiery power around its claws, Agumon pounces at Argomon and slashes it with his claws. It causes pain for the enemy Digimon as Yugi charges at the side and shouts, extending the Dragon Sword in a piercing position. ''DRAGON SPIRAL SLASH!''
The sword is wrapped in golden energy, resembling a drilling spear as he thrusts it forward and pierces through Argomon. The attack launches the damaged enemy onto a digital-like wall, cracking it partly.
Agumon gasps, amazed as does Taichi, declaring astonishment. ''That was really cool! Who are you exactly?''
''Eh haha, complicated.'' Yugi simply says, not sure how to explain it. However, their short calming moment is interrupted as Agumon shouts in panic. ''Taichi, Yugi, look!''
The two turn and widen their eyes as the damaged Argomon begins to glow on the wall. Its body goes through another evolution as it becomes a purple spherical Digimon with four eyespots around a radial mouth that resembles four flower petals, in reference to Argus Panoptes, and three pairs of eyes resembling those of a snail infected with Leucochloridium paradoxum on top of its head. Its tendrils and tongue resemble cables and it has a pair of arms composed of vines ending in industrial manipulators, nearly hundreds of them. The tips of its metallic claw-like arms glow like a lightbulb.
''This is getting ridiculous.'' Taichi complains, really shocked it just evolved again. Sighing, Yugi holds forward his sword as it glows in energy.
''Level Up!'' He shouts as the sword reshapes into the much larger broadsword. ''Dragon Slayer!''
Taichi and Agumon drop their jaws in astonishment to see that sword become large in an instant.
Argomon observes this closely as Yugi immediately vanishes with Dragon Speed Burst, going to finish this now. He moves fast as he gets to the Digimon's back but then Argomon moves and appears in front of Yugi at the same if not superior speed. This shocks the tricolor head, uttering mentally. ''Crap.''
''Bolt Line.'' Argomon utters out, releasing dark pink colored electricity across its hands and shoots them directly at Yugi. He screams in agony as he's pushed back onto the ground, rolling hard. Taichi and Agumon barely react to this as Yugi gasps, getting up but Argomon comes at him, wrapping him up with its tentacles that extend from its mouth. Yugi is restrained immediately to his shock as more electricity shocks him.
Watching this upset, Taichi advises his partner Digimon. ''Help him, Agumon!''
''On it Taichi!'' Agumon declares strongly, charging right at the enemy. Argomon barely turns as Agumon swings its claw at him but Argomon is quicker and stomps one of its claws across his neck, choking him.
''Agumon!'' Taichi shouts in horror. Agumon growls, struggling to break free but gets electrified in pain. Taichi watches helplessly, eyeing his Digivice still not responding. Why? It should work by now!
Yugi watches in his own restraints as he knows now to use Burst Limit on this thing. All he has to do is first-
''Agumon!'' The young Dragon Knight snaps out from his thoughts as he turns to see Taichi, charging forward at Argomon and slams his body onto it. The Digimon doesn't budge as Taichi tries pushing it off balance and does nothing. Taichi grunts as he tries punching it and does no damage.
''I won't let you hurt Agumon!'' Taichi yells at the Digimon, grabbing on its metal claw which starts shocking him and Agumon. Taichi ignores the pain as he shouts determinedly. ''I WILL… PROTECT HIM!''
Watching this, Yugi is immediately reminded of himself wanting to protect his friends and Ichigo. Frowning furiously at his helplessness back then, Yugi's body erupts in red aura and the tentacles suddenly burn in flames. Freed, Yugi swings his Dragon Slayer and hits Argomon strong enough to free Agumon and Taichi as the Digimon is slammed away.
''W-woah…'' Taichi utters in awe. Agumon grunts, rubbing his neck as Taichi smiles of relief he's okay. He eyes Yugi and apologizes for his recklessness. ''Sorry, couldn't let it hurt Agumon.''
''It's okay, Taichi-kun.'' Yugi responds with a smile, understanding it. Taichi nods but frowns, eyeing his Digivice and questions annoyed. ''Wish I can give Agumon access to his power.''
Yugi eyes him, unfamiliar with that device and how it works but he has a feeling how he can help him.
''Someone once told me courage will give you wings to fly.'' The tricolor head begins to say with a soft smirk. Taichi immediately staggers back with widened eyes, remembering that he told that to one person but… no; is he…
''You…'' Taichi utters in dismay as Yugi advises him kindly with a smile. ''Believe in your bonds with Agumon-kun and your courage.''
He then gives him a thumb up, encouraging him. ''I also believe in you, Taichi-kun.''
Taichi stares at him quietly, simply nodding.
''Taichi…'' Agumon mutters, also wanting to believe in him. Taichi eyes him and smiles, placing his gloved hand over his head, staring eye-to-eye with his partner.
''I believe in you too, Agumon! Because…'' Taichi begins to say, speaking through his heart. ''We're the strongest team!''
Agumon smiles and nods as they are the strongest team. Suddenly, Taichi's Digivice begins to glow a bright orange light. This surprises the group as Argomon detects.
(Now playing OST… Brave Heart by Ayumi Miyazaki from Digimon Adventure)
The Digivice reshapes and changes completely, becoming a bit bigger in size and now in an oval-like shape with four outer tips. The device is pure white with the same black border screen in the center but now has a very light blue ring as well as a pure blue ring within it, bordering the screen. The blue ring plate also has mysterious yellow written symbols like the original but yellow.
''It transformed?!'' Taichi utters in surprise yet amazement while Agumon makes small jumps of excitement.
''Awesome!'' Yugi utters, actually surprised as he can feel strong emotion from the device.
The Crest of Courage soon appears on the screen and then the very light blue colored ring plate begins to glow an orange light, moving clockwise, around its ring before turning pure orange. Taichi sees this with a small smirk before becoming serious, staring at Argomon.
''GO, AGUMON!'' Taichi shouts passionately as Agumon lets out a shout, also staring down at the enemy as his body erupts in energy.
''AGUMON, EVOLVE!'' Agumon begins to shout as his eyes change from green to red as his body is consumed in an orange, whitish orange body of energy. He begins to expand and grow instantly; becoming a large dinosaur resembles a tyrannosaur. Its skin has become cranial and turns orange with blue stripes across its body. His eyes are red as he wears a rhinoceros beetle-like helmet that is part of its body with large horns on its head sides and front.
''GREYMON!'' The evolved Agumon roars loudly, posing as flames erupt behind him.
Yugi drops his jaw in disbelief, simply yelling out in astonishment. ''WOAH!''
Taichi watches with relief that it works before becoming serious and shouts to his Digivolved partner. ''Let's do this, Greymon!''
''Right!'' Greymon responds as he turns to Taichi before facing forward and charges forward at Argomon, thrusting his front horns towards Argomon. The Digimon stands there, firing electricity from its claws but Greymon's helmet deflects it as he shouts. ''Great Antler!''
He thrusts and impales Argomon's body before launching it upward.
''BIT FIRE!'' Greymon roars, breathing out small fire balls. The flames hit and damage Argomon. It tries to shoot out vines.
''Use your tail, Greymon!'' Taichi orders as Greymon quickly twirls his body around, letting the tentacles wrap around his tail. He then shouts, lifting his long tail up. ''TAIL CRUSH!''
He slams his tail downward as it pulls Argomon and both slam hard on the ground. Greymon isn't done as he starts spinning around rapidly, dragging or hitting the caught Argomon across the ground until it is forced to release its hold and it crashes onto a wall. Fully turning to face the enemy, Greymon begins forming flames in its fangs before it shouts, opening its mouth. ''MEGA FLAME!''
It spews out ultra-high-temperature flames from its mouth. Argomon can't move as the flame shot consumes it rapidly and burns it alive before exploding on impact.

''A-awesome…'' Yugi simply utters out speechless, not believing that it just happened. From what he understood, a Digimon is like a Pokémon through evolution but the result is stronger.
Taichi watches with a smile as he eyes his transformed Digivice, astonished that the Crest of Courage glows within the device as if it's part of it.
''So my crest is now part of my Digivice?'' Taichi questions, really taken back that it works. He hums, wondering if the others will experience the same thing. However, his train of thought is interrupted by Greymon shouting. ''Taichi!''
Taichi snaps out as he and Yugi as something emerges from the flames of Greymon's attack.
It is revealed to be Argomon, once more evolved into Ultimate. It is now a humanoid with four eyespots, two on its shoulders and two on its thighs, in reference to the mythological Argus Panoptes and a single, curved red horn and bug eyes on its head. It has a pair of green tendrils ending in red claws on its back, hair-like tendrils attached to its head, green feathers on its back and two tendril tails ending in blue tears and purple bands. A visor covers where the eyes would be on a human. The bug eyes have a red outline and yellow eyeballs. It also has red claw feet and white claw humanoid hands with red sharp fingernails and yellow furry back like large manes on each shoulder and some green feathers shown.
''T-this is not…'' Taichi begins uttering, never confronting a Digimon like this before. ''What the heck is with this Digimon?''
Focusing its sight towards the human child, Argomon forms a grin as he speaks now more intelligently. ''You are most impressive, Chosen One of Courage. But now you will perish along with your partner!''
This shocks Taichi as Greymon gets mad and charges. Argomon stands there as Greymon headbutts right at him. At that moment, Argomon's arms become green feather wings and tentacles, suddenly flying and moving too fast for Greymon to even hit it in the air before it attacks and smacks the giant dinosaur back.
''Hypnos Claw!'' Argomon shouts, slashing Greymon with claw-shaped tentacles. It damages the Champion as it crashes back so hard it knocks it back down to Rookie Level. Agumon rolls back to Taichi's side who catches him from moving.
Taichi glares at the enemy Digimon who declares, almost furiously now. ''He will not appear to ruin EVERYTHING!''
Taichi is puzzled by the part. He? Who is he referring to?
Argomon now soars fast towards Taichi and Agumon until a blue energy wave intercepts him and he flies away from it. He grunts, turning towards Yugi who reverts the Dragon Slayer back to the Dragon Sword before sheathing it.
''Don't know what you are but this has gone long enough. I won't let you hurt my friends anymore!'' Yugi proclaims, not going to let this Digimon from hurting Taichi and Agumon.
''Dragon of the Heavens! Roar across the boundaries of reality and fantasy, and grant me the blade that creates impossibilities!'' The young Dragon Knight begins to chant, swirls of energy circling him. Argomon sees this and worries as he flies towards him.
''BURST LIMIT!'' Yugi shouts loudly as he transforms and enters his Burst Limit form. He swings the Dragon Blade out of the scabbard, unleashing a surge of wind as he declares. ''The Power of our Friendship, the Dragon Blade!''
The release of wind from the unsheathed blade knocks and slams Argomon onto the ground. His arms revert back to normal only to cross them as Yugi suddenly appears and slashes the Digimon over and over. It cuts through his arms as Digital code leaks out before the arms reforms.
''Elimination Line!'' Argomon shouts, firing an erasing beam from the eyes on its limbs. Yugi stands there before he swings the Dragon Blade instantly right through the laser beam and dissolves it with a single swing.
''A-awesome!'' Taichi just utters, barely seeing that swing. Yugi then vanishes and Argomon finds itself slash upward and then slash further by Yugi's insane slashes and speed.
''He moves so fast!'' Agumon shouts in amazement too, never seeing a human do that before.
Argomon also can't keep this up as Yugi then kicks him down as Yugi shouts, diving down after him. ''DRAGONAUN BLADE SLASH!''
His blade erupts in purple flames before he slashes through Argomon, burning the Digimon. It shrieks but immediately brushes it off the flames though panting and badly burns. Yugi turns around slowly to face him with a firm gaze as if to try to attack back.
Argomon tries to attack but suddenly gasps, staggering back. Leaks of digital energy begin to come out across its body to Yugi's confusion. Did he overwork his body?
''It was too soon for me…'' Argomon proclaims, gripping on his chest. A digital portal manifests underneath him, sinking him inside as he vows coldly. ''This is not the end.''
He sinks away inside the dark portal as it closes up instantly. Yugi watches, breathing calmly as he reverts back to normal. But that Digimon, Argomon; its aura is not normal and feels empty.
''That creature… its aura was pitch darkness.'' Yugi describes mentally, worried this is not the last he sees of it.
Yugi sheaths his sword as Taichi and Agumon rushes back to him. He smiles as he praises the two. "You two were amazing!''
''Same with you! Yugi, that was-'' Taichi begins to say smiling by the insane tricks and powers he has as well as Agumon feeling the same but before he can continue, Yugi is suddenly lifted upward.
The tricolor head startles as his body becomes spiritual again as a portal manifests above him, taking him directly inside of it. Guess his time here is done.
''Yugi!'' Taichi and Agumon shout as the tricolor head looks down, apologizing with a small chuckle. ''Hehe. Guess I'm going but…''
He knows he can't leave yet with those two stranded here but just then another portal manifests near the two. Yugi blinks by the coincidence but he'll take it as he tells them. ''Maybe that portal will take you two out of here!''
Taichi blinks as he and Agumon turn to see the portal.
''Worth a try, right Taichi?'' Agumon asks his partner, thinking that will be the way back home. Taichi just smiles as it's just an adventure to get back home anyway, responding determinedly. ''You betcha, Agumon!''
He looks back up to Yugi and asks him, wishing he got to know him more. ''Will we see each other again?''
''If we do, I'll make it up to the both of you!'' Yugi promises, also feeling the same. Taichi just grins and nods as he waves as does Agumon.
''Later!'' The two shout as they run into the portal, vanishing inside. Yugi smiles, hoping he does meet them again as he's sucked inside his own portal. But first thing first; finish this test and save Ichigo!
Yugi resumes back to what he was doing to master his true Dragon Knight powers. Will he be able to pull it off?

Yugi now found himself in the broken down castle of Sir Dragonaun and was confronted by his darker half once again. Revealing to be the one preventing Yugi from accessing his full power, Yugi, annoyed, challenged him to gain that power. Dark Yugi mocked Yugi but still accepted the challenge, going to beat him again but a real dark twist is revealed.
Yugi: Hope Taichi-kun and Agumon-kun were able to get back to their world.
Atem: I'm sure they did. They are a courageous team.
Yugi agrees as he arrives at his destination and widens his eyes: It's this castle. Why are we here of all places?
Dark Voice: It is because you will die here, weakling.
Yugi turns as does Atem to gaze upon Darkness Yugi.
Darkness Yugi smirks: Missed me?
Yugi remains calm, almost suspicious.

Author's Note: Oh man DIGIMON ADVENTURE- 2020… Actually not really but… allow me to explain.
SEE… I fucking hate Tri. Like the first 2 parts are fine, the third part upset me, 4-5 should have been 1 whole part and the final part is just a disappointment. Then Last Evolution- never watched it because I don't care.
MEANWHILE Adventure 2020 was such a treat. It had its flaws (The Taichi Show?) but I still liked it over Tri. However, I still like the original 1999 series plus the PSP version which is just 1999 but a few tiny changes. Plus I love the Taichi of V-Tamer. FANTASTIC MANGA. Read it. And since I learn to be less hateful for things (except A VERY-VERY FEW THINGS)… I have a plan.
SO COMPROMISE TIME! This Taichi and I guess his whole timeline is a composite of the OG 1999, 2020 and later Tri timelines. We have the base 1999 version who will have events and stuff from the 2020 version. Which is why his old Digivice from Adventure 01 merged with his Crest of Courage to become the new 2020 Digivice, now Crest within the device so Taichi won't lose the ability to go Ultimate to Mega in the future (thanks 02).
What about Tri then? Oh… I'll fix Tri, don't you worry.
Anyway, I had fun with this small mini adventure of Yugi and Taichi and Agumon in this cyberspace area. Guess we'll never see Taichi and Agumon ever- Volume 6… Yes. And eventually I will do an Adventure Arc with the other Chosen Ones and their Digivice upgrades too.
SO… another thing… Did everyone reading this know that Taichi's last name in the Japanese dub is Yagami but the English Dub it is Kamiya. WEIRD HUH? I had a plan to keep Taichi's last name with Yagami just to establish that Taichi is related to Light just to give Yugi self-worries BUT after thinking and asking alexwu704… Nay. I'll let Taichi keep the Kamiya last name (yes, Hikari/Kari will too) and no connection. Feels wrong but then I have to explain the relative part and the timeline issue and AW… No. Also would Yugi be concerned? He wasn't with Sayo but I guess we can establish he has concerned due to all that's happened with him right now. But yea, Taichi Kamiya it will be. And yes, I will keep referring to him as Taichi because I like it. I will do a thing with the Tai nickname so don't worry.
Next time we get more reveals and a fight to reveal what is a Dragon Knight and other shocking stuff. You don't want to miss it.
