Searching Mount Aris - Part 4:
Two Heads Are Better Than One
After saving Queen Novo and Princess Skystar with her newly-discovered Water and Nature Magic, Twilight, Spike, Pinkie, and Rainbow Dash continued following Rarity and Fluttershy through Mount Aris to find Gaia and Marina before Slash could create another pair of crystals. Along their way, they've faced some more perils and dangers on Mount Aris.
They fought Slash's forces, they destroyed canons, they avoided shooting darts, and they even managed to defeat more of the Coral-Giants from earlier.
It wasn't long until the Mane 5 and Spike have caught up with Queen Novo and Princess Skystar. Queen Novo was dealing with some Soldiers with ease until she looked behind herself and saw the Mane 5 and Spike standing behind her and her daughter.
"You girls again? Why don't you get out of here and leave us in peace? I'm the queen of this mountain…nobody else," Queen Novo declared in annoyance.
"Queen Of What, exactly?" Rainbow asked, sarcastically.
"Rainbow, shhh!" Twilight scolded, "You two are all alone?" She asked Novo and Skystar.
"Only until we get every one of these Monkey bums out of here," Skystar replied.
"Which reminds me, we can't stand here chatting with colorful Alicorns and Lizards," Queen Novo added.
"Whoa, hey, who are you calling a Lizard?" Spike asked, feeling rather offended. "I'm a dragon, DRA-GON, not lizard, I don't do that tongue thing," He then stuck out his tongue.
"Besides, it's not safe for you lot here, anyway," Queen Novo warned them.
"Oh, so now you're concerned about our welfare now?" Spike asked sarcastically before Pinkie bumped him.
"No need to worry your majesty. We can take care of ourselves. We just need to know how to get to the Pearl Chamber," Fluttershy said.
"What do you think, Mom?" Skystar asked, turning to her mother as one Ape Soldier appeared behind them.
"They'll never make it," Queen Novo replied, knocking the Ape Soldier aside as she and Skystar continued on their way.
"Come on, girls. We can show them, right?" Rainbow Dash encouraged, turning to her friends.
"Right, come on. We need to get to the Chamber and fast," Twilight ordered as she and the others followed them.
When they arrived at the gates that'll lead to the top of the mountain, Queen Novo and Skystar were already there as they turned to them.
"The Pearl Guardian hasn't been at peace since Slash's forces came. He is not happy," Queen Novo frowned as she and Skystar walked towards the gates.
"Geez, is anybody fun around here?" Pinkie asked.
"You ponies can't possibly face the Guardian of the Pearl alone," Queen Novo said as she knocked on the door and the gates opened in front of her, revealing a path that leads to the top.
"Not all of us are loners, you're majesty. And I'm not going alone," Twilight stated as she and her friends walked past them and headed for the gates.
"Twilight's right. And maybe someday you and your daughter will someday learn that two heads are better than one…Even if one of them is a drama queen," Rainbow Dash added.
"That's precisely ri-Hey!" Rarity said, feeling rather insulted when Rainbow Dash said that.
"You know, they do have a point, Mom," Skystar said, agreeing with them.
Queen Novo looked aside, starting to think that maybe they were right too.
