Chapter 24:
Training Almost Complete
After Twilight, Spike, Gaia, and Marina have entered the training room, the Alicorn Statue once again lowers down slowly and becomes a dojo as training dummies begin to appear.
"Certainly Magic, Electricity, and Air are nice sight lights…," Marina started.
"But now young Alicorn. You will learn the secrets of Water and Nature…," Gaia added.
"Powers worthy of the elite," Marina finished.
After the dojo has appeared and the dummies are in place, Twilight got herself prepared to listen to their first instructions on how to use her new Water and Nature Magic. Marina went first and gave her some technique tips on Water Magic.
"Now, Twilight, bubble, and attack the dummies with your Water Stream. Once they're bubbled, melee on them," Marina said.
Twilight nodded and approached the three medium-sized dummies as she used her Water Stream Magic to bubble and melee on them until all three of them were defeated.
"You did good, Twilight. Don't you think, Marina?" Gaia asked, turning to Marina, who had a look of surprise on her face but it didn't last long.
"Beginners luck I say, Gaia. Beginners luck," Marina said, acting snooty again.
"Now, try and chase after the dummies and then tangle them up with your Vine Grasp. When they are in range. Once they're tangled, melee them and defeat all of them," Gaia instructed.
Six small-sized dummies appeared on the dojo and Twilight unleashes her Nature Magic as long vines appeared and tangled the dummies up. Once the dummies were tangled, Twilight melee on them and managed to defeat them all with ease.
"Very good, Twilight," Gaia complimented.
"Yes, even a blind Alicorn finds success once in a while," Marina commented as Gaia bumped her.
"*Clearing Throat* Anyway, now Twilight, when each dummy appears on the dojo, hit them with your Water Shards. You must hit ten dummies to pass this one," Marina instructed.
Twilight ran into the dojo and as Marina taught her, she shot some Water Shards at the dummies each time one of them appears. Some of the dummies tried to run away, but Twilight managed to catch them with her Water Shards. Once she defeated all ten dummies, Twilight headed back to Gaia and Marina.
"Check that out," Twilight said, doing a little victory prance again.
"Not bad, Twilight. Now chase the dummies and slow them down with your Nature Darts. You must defeat them all to pass this," Gaia instructed.
Five small dummies appeared on the dojo but Twilight used her Nature Darts immediately on them. Even when some of them tried to run, Twilight shot them and they slowed down, giving her the chance to melee on them and defeat them. After defeating the five small dummies, Twilight heads back to the two Alicorn Guardians as Gaia nodded her head in amazement.
"You got a lot of Nature Power in you, Twilight," Gaia said with a smile.
"Yes, yes, that's it," Marina agreed.
"Now comes the final test, Twilight. After you defeat the small dummies, focus, and fuel on the Water Magic flowing through and consuming you as you unleash the Water Fury Attack…," Marina instructed.
"...And then focus and fuel on the Nature Magic to unleash the Nature Fury Attack…," Gaia instructed.
Small dummies appeared on the dojo and surrounded Twilight, but she quickly defeated them by using her Water Streams, Waters Shards, Vine Grasp, Nature Darts, and her aerial combat fighting skills. After the small dummies were done for, bigger dummies appeared and approached her and that's when Twilight did it…
She raised up off the ground as a swirling whirlpool of water appeared around her and then…
Ka-Whoosh!
All the bigger dummies were washed away and defeated by the huge wave of water for Twilight has unleashed her Water Fury Attack.
But that's not all she did, when more big dummies appeared on dojo and approached her, Twilight rises up again, and this time, a green magical aura in the shape of a tree appeared around her and just like last time…
Boom!
Huge giant strong vines appeared from the ground and tangled the dummies up, defeating them in the process. Twilight has unleashed her Nature Fury Attack as well. Gaia and Marina were quite impressed by her progress.
"Well done, Twilight. You have now mastered the element of Water and Nature…," Gaia kindly congratulated her new pupil.
"...Something few can boast, except for Rarity and Fluttershy of course. But still a very good job, dear," Marina said as the Statue rises up slowly again, returning to its original position.
After the statue was in place, Twilight, Spike, and the two Alicorn Guardians returned to the Pool Of Vision where the others were chatting and waiting for them. Yet they're gonna be in for a shocking surprise…
