A/N: I'm saying it now, I gave the laptop 100 Kilobytes. It makes sense for the time it was made... though I might being a bit generous on how much space it would have... but still something we don't know about it... and I hope you like what I did involving it.
Chapter 22: Sock Opera
Dipper and Amelia met at the library, with Mabel deciding to join them. Both of them were excited… well Dipper was, Amelia was a bit more concerned.
After all she wanted to find out what sort of ties her grandfather had with the author. And what caused his insanity.
"All right! Now that Soos fixed the computer, we should find out who the author is." Said Dipper.
"Hopefully. Remember. Computers back then didn't have much power." Said Amelia.
"I know… but it should say who owned it." Said Dipper.
He turned it on. However after the boot up screen it said "Unauthorized user" and then had a password screen.
"Oh come on!" yelled Dipper, "Of course there's a password!"
He then got shushed.
Meanwhile Mabel was bored.
"Why did I come?" she asked.
That was when she heard music coming from the kids section. She saw a blonde boy around her age putting on a puppet show. And he was gorgeous.
Her eyes began to sparkle.
"All right!" said Dipper getting out a book about cryptology, "So the password has 8 letters. According to this cryptology book there's 7.2 8-letter words."
Amelia was about to say something.
"Guys! Guys!" yelled Mabel, "Look at him!"
"Oh man." Sighed Dipper knowing what was going on.
"He's so gorgeous and right when I was getting over Mermando!" said Mabel.
"Oh yeah Mermando… did not care for Mermando." Sighed Dipper.
"Why don't you go talk to him?" asked Amelia.
"Great idea! Once his show is over of course!" said Mabel.
Mabel left to watch the show.
"Any was…" said Amelia, "I have theory on what the password would be."
"Okay let's try it out." Said Dipper.
Amelia typed in "gullible".
And immediately they were let in.
"Oh wow… how did you know?" asked Dipper.
"I found an old news letter years ago about computers." Said Amelia, "It had an article written by Grandpa before he went insane. He talked about computer passwords and how "gullible" would be a good choice for one. Because if you were you forced to give it someone, they wouldn't believe it."
Dipper blinked, "That's… that's actually a really good advice." He said.
The two began to look through the computer.
Meanwhile now that the puppet show was over so Mabel began to make her move on him, who was named Gabe Benson. At first it was going well, telling him she was puppet crazy. Then this happened.
"When your next puppet show." Said Gabe.
"My next what?" asked Mabel.
"You can't be considered puppet crazy unless you have a puppet show." Said Gabe, "You are having a puppet, show right?"
"Oh of course." Said Mabel.
"So what are the details?" asked Gabe.
There are so many details." Said Mabel.
And so Mabel gave him the details of something and now she had to do.
Afterwards she went over to Dipper and Amelia.
Who unfortunately had hit a roadblock. Mainly because well.. it was an early 80's computer. It didn't have of a Megabyte of storage space. All it had on there were a few computing programs, a countdown clock program and a few blueprints for some sort of machine. Beyond that… nothing… nothing even about the author.
"Oh you have got to kidding me!" said Dipper.
"I guess we should have realized it in hindsight." Sighed Amelia, "Computers back weren't that powerful or had that much storage space."
Both of them sighed.
"Hey… how hard would it be to write and compose a sock puppet rock opera with music, lights and pyrotechnics by Friday?" she asked.
Both of them stared at Mabel.
"What?" asked Amelia.
"You might want to backtrack." Said Dipper.
"Well you see…" she explained her situation.
"Seriously?" asked Dipper.
"Yeah… I know I should ask Serena for this stuff and Marina… but I could use your help too… even though you're working on the computer…" said Mabel.
"Actually we're free." Muttered Dipper.
"The computer doesn't have that much space so we were able to go though it very quickly." Explained Amelia.
"So nothing?" asked Mabel.
Both of them shook their heads no. For Dipper it was about a personal project, for Amelia on the other hand was solving a family mystery.
So of course she had more sympathy for Amelia than Dipper.
"I'm sure you'll figure something our soon.: Mabel assure her.
Dipper would have argued but yeah, her reason was more valid. Though that didn't mean he didn't scowl.
"What's wrong?" asked Mabel.
"It's nothing." Said Dipper.
"Since you guys are free? You want to help too?" asked Mabel, "This is one of those things I need all the help I can!"
"Fine." Said Dipper.
"Sure. "said Amelia.
"Yes!" cheered.
Sometime later, Mabel had gotten everyone who worked at the Mystery Shack, the Sailor Guardians (including Darien who could now be lumped in with them) as well as Garrick and Blaine.
"All right this is Glove Story: A Sock Opera!" said Mabel, "Just a word of warning. People eyes will be wet. From laughing… at how tragic it is."
"Yeah… that sounds great." Said Dipper who began to cough on something.
Garrick slapped his back and he coughed off piece of the puppet he was working on.
"Come on Dipper, you got to roll with Mabel's crazy ideas. It's what makes life worthy living." Said Wendy.
"I'm with Dipper on this one. It's just another thing for Mabel to get a guy's attention." Said Blaine then realized he probably needed confirmation, "Wait that's what it is, right?"
Dipper and Amelia nodded.
"Just another attempt to get a guy's attention." He repeated.
"So who's the guy." Said Marina.
"His name is Gabe Benson! And he is so hot!" said Mabel.
"Gabe Benson?" asked Marina, "You mean puppet crazy Gabe?"
"Hey!" yelled Mabel.
"So you know him?" asked Serena.
"I've met him through some performance circles." Said Marina, "Mabel… I'm usually up for setting people up. But in this case no… you shouldn't' date him. He's not good for you. He's just going break your heart, in the one of the worst ways possible."
"You're just saying that because of the puppets." Said Mabel.
"No I'm not. I met another puppeteer though the same circles. You know that guy who hangs out on street corners in the more touristy areas of the town with the marionettes? He's pretty cool, he actually lets kids help out in his shows if they want to… its' really sweet." Said Marina.
"Are you sure that's the reason?" asked Mabel.
"No… he's cute but he's a but too young for me…" said Marina.
Mabel glared at her thinking that was still the reason.
"What's going on?" asked Stan walking in.
Helping Mabel with a puppet show." Answered Hotaru.
"I'm going to pretend this isn't happening." Said Stan walking away.
Garrick decided to change the subject as he had heard about the laptop.
"So Dipper, why you looking through the laptop?" asked Garrick.
"Seriously? I thought we agreed we wouldn't get involved." Muttered Blaine.
"I agreed I wouldn't get involved that much, you're the one that doesn't want to be involved." Said Garrick.
Dipper stopped them from arguing by saying "The laptop went no where. There wasn't very much on it since you know… early 80's." he explained.
"What do you mean there wasn't very much space?" asked Serena.
"You see my computer my grand father built only has about 100 kilobytes of data. Meaning that whatever was kept on the computer had to be important." She explained, "Because of it's limited space it could only fit so much that unless the author had a good reason to use up space to put his name in for some reason, then it would kind of pointless."
"Can you dumb it down a bit?" asked Serena., "And explain Kilobytes."
"Okay… so how much space does your phone have?" asked Amelia.
"I think it has 12 gigabytes." Said Serena trying to remember.
"Okay… your phone when translated to kilobytes is 12 million kilobytes. Meaning it take 120,000 laptops to equal how much memory your phone has." Explained Amelia.
Everyone but Dipper, Hotaru and the clones gaped.
"30 years did a lot for computing." Said Amelia.
"So… that's too bad." Said Garrick.
"Hopefully we'll find another clue soon." Said Amelia.
"Yeah." Sighed Dipper.
And so over the course of the next few days, Dipper helped Mabel in her puppet show.
However while he mostly tolerated helping her (There were he was miserable and there were times he actually thought were funny, like the choice to have Stan be represented by a paper bag instead of a sock) he was more interested in looking for clues on the author's identity.
One night Mabel was making it so that Gabe puppet kissed the Mabel puppet.
She heard Dipper grumbling in his bed.
"Dipper what's wrong?" asked Mabel.
"Nothing… I'm fine…" said Dipper.
"IS this about how the laptop was a bust?" asked Mabel, "That was like a week ago."
"No of course not." Said Dipper.
"Just relax, knowing our luck, we'll probably get another clue… or Amelia will change her mind about asking her grandpa if he remembers anything." Said Mabel.
"I doubt she will." Said Dipper.
Just relax you're becoming really obsessed with this." Said Mabel.
"And you're not obsessed?" asked Dipper.
"What do I have to be obsessed about?" asked Mabel.
He motioned all around them, the room was filled with sock puppets.
"Well maybe you should try to get some sleep. It would be good for you… and you won't try to eat your shirt again." Said Mabel.
Dipper had started to eat his shirt and then spat it out.
"I'm going outside for some air." Muttered Dipper.
He left to sit on the roof.
He just stared at the sky and maybe jot ideas down on a notebook.
"If only I knew someone who could help me with clues." Muttered Dipper.
That was when there was a large gust of wind, the moon started to glow. And suddenly sifted to the appearance of an eye… and soon a shape surrounded that eye as the world suddenly turned black and white.
And formed into Bill.
"I think I might know a guy!" said Bill, "You're awfully persistent Pine Tree, even after finding out nothing on the computer, hats off to you!"
He took off his hat, which caused the whole world to tilt.
"You again!" yelled Dipper.
"You missed me! Admit it, you missed me." Laughed Bill.
"Hardly, you worked with Gideon, you tried to destroy my uncles mind, you told my sister about her past life." Said Dipper.
"That was just a job, no hard feelings.' Said Bill.
"Showing my sister her past life wasn't part of the job." Said Dipper.
"It was better for her." Said Bill, "Especially since Earth found out about both, do you know how awkward it would have been between him and Moon if I hadn't…"
Dipper just glared at Bill.
"Oh Pine Tree it's not important… what is, is that I've been keeping…" said bill, who suddenly got bigger and spoke in a deeper voice "An eye on you!"
He quickly returned to normal.
"Since then and I'm impressed." Said Bill.
"Really?" asked Dipper.
"Yes." Said Bill, "In fact you diverse a prize, have a head that's always screaming."
The screaming head of a bearded man suddenly appeared, Dipper freak out but Bill got rid of in a horrified way where it's skin was removed followed by it's muscles and finally skull.
After Bill had a good laugh he said this "Anyways the point is I like you. How about I give you a brand new clue to your goal. All I ask for in return is a little " Said Bill before once again switching to a deep voice for one word "Favor in return!"
"No way!" said Dipper, "Remember you defeated you last time."
Bill started to laugh.
"Yeah, your big sister! And she "Defeated" me… you can't always hide behind Moon, Pine Tree…" said Bill.
"Then I'll just find a clue with Amelia on my own." Said Dipper.
"Yeah, it's not like she's sitting on a clue but doesn't want to do it." Said Bill sarcastically.
"What does that mean?" asked Dipper.
"Well if you ever change your mind." Said Bill taking a hologram of Dipper's brain out of his head, "I'll be ready to make a deal!"
Dipper just glared at Bill.
"Hey you want to hear an impression of you in 5 seconds!" said Bill he proceed to scream.
Dipper woke up screaming.
He looked around and saw it was morning.
In the kitchen Stan was eating breakfast when Mabel put his puppet in his face "Hey I'm puppet Stan!"
"Still ignoring this." Said Stan.
That was when Dipper entered the room.
"Whoa! Bag check for Dipper's eyes!" mocked Stan.
"You were thinking about that thing weren't you?" asked Serena.
"how about you wake up with Mabel Juice!" said Mabel, "It's the only drink with plastic dinosaurs in it!"
"It's like Coffee and Nightmares had a baby." Said Stan with a shudder.
Dipper grabbed Serena and Mabel.
"Hey last night I had a dream with Bill in it." Said Dipper.
"Wait triangle guy Bill." Said Mabel making the sign with her hands.
"Oh no…" said Serena.
"He said he'll give me a new clue about the author if I do it." Said Dipper.
"Seriously?" asked Mabel.
"You're not thinking about doing it?" asked Serena.
"No of course not." Said Dipper.
"Yeah,. Because it sound like something bad might happen if you do." Said Serena.
"Don't worry…" said Dipper.
"Hey a great way to get your mind off of it is to help my production crew." Said Mabel.
"Production crew?" asked Dipper and Serena.
Later they met the production crew whole the other girls (though Amelia was absent for some reason) were there. Of course it was Candy and Grenda.
"We read the script, it was very emotional." Said Candy.
"I cried like 8 times." Said Grenda.
"Hello ladies." Said Gabe skating there.
All of the girls there (besides Marina) were surprised at how good-looking he was for someone younger than them.
However Grenda and Candy were the most impressed.
"Hubba hubaa." Said Grenda.
"(I mused steal him away from Mabel.)" Candy told herself in Korean.
"Gabe!" cheered Mabel.
"I was just blading by, helps dry off my ponytail after a shower." Said Gabe.
"I'm going to get a snack." Muttered Marina hoping he wouldn't notice her.
"It's so great to see you! I was just working on the world's greatest puppet show!" said Mabel, "It has puppets!"
"Your passion is so refreshing. Unlike the other girl from last night's show." Said Gabe, "Single stitching on puppet, cross-stitch on the other…" said Gabe.
"Cross what…" said Mabel.
"So Naturally I deleted her from my contacts." Said Gabe.
Naturally." Mabel laughed nervously.
However Serena started glaring at Gabe.
"I know you wont' let me down…" said Gabe, " Form what you said the other day… you must be a puppet expert!"
"You know Gabe you look sweaty maybe you should take off your shirt." Said Grenda.
Everyone stared at the larger girl unsure how to respond.
"Aren't we all thinking that?" asked Grenda.
"Later ladies!" said Gabe.
He skated away. Once he was out of site Mabel started to freak out.
"Did you hear about the stitching! WE need to up our game!" yelled Mabel, "I'm back on fabrication! Get me a lint roller!"
"Mabel calm down!" said Serena.
"What do I have to be calm about!" yelled Mabel.
That was when Grenda accidentally ripped part her own puppet, Candy glued to many eyes on one and Soos and the sets fell off of Stan's car.
"Okay… you might have a point… but don't you think Gabe might be a bit of a jerk…" said Serena.
"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Mabel.
"Isn't' it a bit suspicious that he just happened to come over and tell you deleted a girls phone number off his and just left?" asked Serena.
"Seriously!" said Mabel.
"I'm saying he might not be the one…" said Serena.
"Seriously! You know you're relationship isn't exactly one I can obtain right?" asked Mabel.
"Uh…" said Serena.
"You have a literal soul mate who rescues you when you're in danger!" said Mabel, "That's not something that can be easily obtain!"
She looked at Lila and Riley.
"She does kind of have a point…" admitted Riley with a shrug.
Mabel then ran off to fix some of her puppets and learn more about stitching.
"Well that just happened." Said Dipper with a shrug.
He decided it was probably for the best to not get invoiced with the puppet show any more because he kind of saw where Serena was coming from in being suspicious with him.
He decided to walk around the house that was when he found where Amelia. She was looking at an old photograph.
"Hey, what you're looking at?" asked Dipper.
She showed him the photograph, it was the same man that the Shape shifter turned into. He was sitting behind a desk with some half built computers around him.
"is that…" said Dipper.
"Grandpa… years ago." Said Amelia.
"I see…" said Dipper.
"I decided to call Grandma." Said Amelia, "See if she knew anything about the author… nothing really just asked why grandpa came to Gravity Falls."
"What did she say?" asked Dipper.
"All she told me was that he came t help someone with their research and refused to give me the name… she said that man hurt our family too much that she made a promise never to speak his name ever again." Said Amelia.
Dipper's eyes widened.
"She also said to move away from the past in a healthy way…" said Amelia, "I don't know what she meant by that…"
"Are you close to your grandma?" asked Dipper.
"Kind of… I'm closer to grandpa." Said Amelia, "Though Grandma did admit even though she doesn't love the man he became, she is happy I'm taking care of him since dad refuses to help."
"That good to hear." Said Dipper.
"There is something we could do that would get us back on the trail… but I don't think we should do it." Said Amelia.
"Which is…" said Dipper.
"Asking him if he remembers anything about the author." Said Amelia.
Dipper eyes widened.
"I don't know if we should though… it might cause him to get worse somehow." Said Amelia.
"don't worry…" said Dipper, "We're figure something out."
"Thanks for understanding Dipper." Said Amelia.
Dipper nodded.
Sometime later, Dipper was staring at the celling in the attic.
He yawned and then everything turned black and white.
"Well ,well, well… looks like someone's having a change of heart." Said Bill as he appeared.
Dipper glared at Bill.
"I told you Mercury was sitting on a clue." Said Bill.
"But that's because it will probably hurt her grandpa." Said Dipper.
"And that's why I'm here… so her grandpa stays safe." Said Bill.
Dipper glared at Bill.
"Remember though if you want that clue. You have to give me something in return." Said Bill.
"What is it?" asked Dipper, "Because if it's something like ripping out my teeth, eating my soul or replacing my eyes with baby heads I'm not taking it."
"Oh relax I just want a puppet." Said Bill.
"A puppet?" asked dipper.
"Everyone loves puppets. It looks like you have a surplus…" said Bill.
"I don't know… Mabel worked a lot on these." Said Dipper.
"Oh come on… you've sacrificed so much for her this summer and what have she given you in return?" asked Bill.
Dipper didn't answer.
"Not to mention who know what might happen if you ask Mercury's Grandpa…
said Bill, "He might just collapse even more mentally."
Dipper gritted his teeth.
"Up to you kid." Said Bill holding out his hand while it was on fire.
"So just one puppet?" asked Dipper.
"Yes." Said Bill.
Dipper shook his hand.
"So which puppet do you want?" asked Dipper.
"Huh… eeny, meenie, miney… you!" said Bill.
He proceeded to rip Dipper out of his body.
"What's going on!" yelled Dipper.
He watched in horror as his own body.
"Sorry, but you're my puppet now!" laughed Bill in Dipper's body (or rather Bipper).
Bipper started to admire himself with his new body.
Dipper on the other hand was freaking out.
"I don't understand, how could this happen?" asked Dipper.
"Listen, you're getting too close to something. I've got big plans. And I'm not going to let you get in the way!" said Bipper, "Now I just need to density your journal! Race you to the bottom of the stairs!"
Dipper watched in horror as Bipper fell down the stairs, he tried to follow, but he wasn't able to move very well in his spiritual body.
He managed to find Bipper leaving Serena's room and pocketing something.
"What are you doing in there?" asked Dipper.
"Just grabbing some insurance for when your sister and her protectors notice me." Said Bipper, "Moon might not be the brightest bulb, but Mars and Saturn will know notice I'm the one running the show!"
"You stole the silver crystal didn't you?" asked Dipper in horror.
"Of course not, she keeps that on her all the time!" said Bipper, "My insurance is far more interesting… Hey… what's over there!"
Dipper didn't look away and only watched in horror as Bipper ponce again fell down the stairs.
Dipper once again had a lot of difficulty floating around and found Bipper pouring Pit Cola over his eyes and afterwards started to slam his arm with a draw.
"Boy this arms are durable." Said Bipper, "By the way here is that journal of yours?"
"I hid it somewhere you will never find it!" said Dipper.
"Hey! Dipper! I just wanted to tell you I took your journal for a prop in the show! I'm leaving before you could processes my sentence! Bye!" cheered Mabel.
Dipper face palmed while Bipper laughed.
Dipper flew after Mabel, who was leaving, however she couldn't see her, even stopping Stan from driving Mabel there.
However Stan drove straight through him.
"Hah! Sorry but unless they're powerful enough, no one can see you unless you have a vessel it inhabit." Laughed Bipper.
"We're heading to the theater." Said Soos showing up with Wendy.
"Need a ride?" asked Wendy.
"Oho I need one red!" said Bill.
"I'm going to figure out a way to spot you Bill!" yelled Dipper.
"How can you stop me, if you don't' exist!" laughed Bill.
Dipper floated there in shock as they drove away.
Thankfully, there was another group heading to the theater that hadn't left yet.
"Dipper?" asked a voice.
He turned around and saw Riley.
"Riley… you can see me?" asked Dipper.
Riley nodded and she was very pale.
"I'm not dead!" yelled Dipper.
"I wasn't sure, you feel much different than a ghost…" said Riley, "What happened?"
Dipper sighed and had no other choice in telling her.
"I stupidly made a deal with Bill! He stole my body and now plans on destroying the journal!" explained Dipper.
"What seriously?" asked Riley.
Before she could ask why he made a deal with him.
"Riley what are you doing?" asked Marina as she approached with the other girls as well as Darien.
"You need to tell everyone." Said Dipper.
"Yeah." Sighed Riley.
She explained what happened.
"Seriously?" asked Marina.
"Oh Dipper." Sighed Serena.
However Amelia was already with her computer and scanned where Dipper was floating.
Her computer screen was indeed able to show him on screen.
"Can you hear me using that?" asked Dipper.
"Sorry, it's not able to pick up your voice." Said Amelia.
"Looks like we have to ask with simple yes and no question." Said Marina.
"You know I can hear him, right?" asked Riley.
"We need to head to the theater now." Said Serena.
The others nodded, so they all got into Darien's car so he could drive them to the theater, while in the car Lila was the one who called Hotaru as she was taking her own car.
"Okay! I'll keep an eye on him until you get here." Said Hotaru.
"Thanks." Said Lila.
Dipper was somehow able to hold on in the car.
"Dipper?" asked Amelia, getting a feeling about something, "Is one of the reasons why you made a deal with Bill… is it because what we talked about earlier?"
Dipper looked at Amelia and nodded.
"I'm sorry." Said Amelia.
Dipper decided to say "It's okay, I should have known it was a bad idea." Which Riley immediately translated for her.
"We'll worry about why Dipper made that deal later, we have to get his body back before then." Said Serena.
They all nodded.
At the theater. Hotaru, Garrick and Blaine arrived and found Stan, Wendy and Soos.
"Hey, where Dipper." Said Hotaru.
"He's helping out with the play." Said Wendy, "He's been acting really weird too."
"That's because he's possessed." Said Blaine.
"What?" asked Wendy.
"Not even kidding, he made some sort of deal with a demon and now it's controlling his body." Said Blaine.
"What?" asked Wendy.
"It's just as he said, I'm going back stage and figure out how to stop him." said Hotaru, "Hopefully I can handle him until the girls and Darien get here."
She left to go back stage.
She began to look around for him.
"So I take it you heard everything Saturn." Said Bipper appeared behind her.
"I have." Said Saturn.
"So what do you have planned?" asked Bipper.
"Just hold you until we figure out how to reverse this." Said Hotaru.
"Oh if only it was that simple." Said Bipper.
That was when he took out his "Insurance". It was Gideon's amulet.
"Oh no…" she said.
That was when she was suddenly flung away.
"You honestly think I would have found this… it would have better to destroy it… but no you had Moon keep it safe." Said Bipper.
"Saturn Planet Power! Make-Up!" called out Sailor Saturn.
"Oh so you transformed." laughed Bipper, "But this is the waking world… there's not much you can do."
Sailor Saturn gritted her teeth.
In the main art of the threes, the girls and Darien, got there.
"Where's Dipper?" asked Serena.
"Backstage." Said Wendy.
"Thanks!" said Marina.
"Is this about the whole Dipper possessed thing?" asked Wendy.
"Yep!" answered Lila.
Everyone just shrugged as they went backstage.
Backstage, Bipper sent Sailor Saturn flying once again.
The girls and Darien saw that Bipper saw using the amulet.
"Oh no he has Gideon's amulet." Said Marina.
"I thought II hid it in a good place." Said Serena.
"Must have not have been as good as you thought it was." Said Riley.
"We need to transform." Said Amelia.
They all nodded.
"Moon Crystal Power!" called out Serena
"Mercury Star Power! Called out Amelia
"Venus Star Power!" called out Marina
"Mars Star Power!" called out Riley
"Jupiter Star Power!" called out Lila
"Make-up!" called out all of them.
Darien automatically transformed into Rose Knight as it was something he didn't need to use a phrase.
As he was attacking Sailor Saturn. Sailor Venus knew what to do.
"Love me Chain!" called out Sailor Venus.
However Bipper lifted himself up to doge the chain.
"Nice try Venus!" laughed Bipper who smirked, "Oh you're all facing me… that was a bad plan!"
"What do you mean?" asked Sailor Moon.
That was when Bipper lifted all of them up and then slammed them into the ground.
"Bad plan…" laughed Bipper.
That was when he found some rope and then brought all seven of them then found a rope and tied them all tightly together.
"Well I got to go find that journal." Laughed Bipper walking away.
"Oh man… this is bad! THIS IS BAD!" freaked out Dipper who watched the whole thing.
"Clam down Dipper." Said Sailor Mars.
"She's right Dipper. There might be another way." Said Sailor Saturn.
"You can see me too?" asked Dipper who then breathed a sigh of relief.
"Bill did say something about a vessel." Said Dipper, "But I don't know what to do…"
That was when he saw some of the puppets.
"That's it." Said Dipper he flew away.
"I wonder who's he's going to tell." Said Sailor Moon.
"Let's just work on getting out of this!" said Sailor Mars.
Meanwhile the show going really well. It was currently the intermission.
Mabel took a breath and got some water.
That was when the Dipper sock puppet came to life and started to float by him.
"Pst Mabel!" said the Dipper puppet.
Mabel spat out the water and started to scream.
"tit came to life!" screamed Mabel, "The puppet books said nothing about this."
"Mabel it's me Dipper!" cried Dipper.
"You're a bit more sock than usual." Said Mabel.
"Bill stole my body and now he's after the Journal! He's also took Gideon's amulet and he managed to tie up Serena and the others! Right now I think our only hope! You have to get the journal back, it might be the only way to get me back into the body!"
"But my cue's coming up in a minute." Said Mabel.
But before they could argue Gabe showed up with flowers.
"Hey Mabel! Do you have a moment?" asked Gabe.
Mabel hid the Dipper possessed puppet behind her back while they talked.
"Ow! Mabel" cried Dipper.
"Wow Mabel it's clear to me you really love puppets. You went hole hog there. And if you stick the ending, well… Maybe you could join me for a biscotti!" he said.
"You drive a biscotti?" asked Mable with her eyes sparkling.
That was when she got her cue.
"I'll be waiting." He said.
Once he was gone, Mabel let go of Dipper's possessed puppet.
"Did you hear that! This play has to be flawless! Can't it wait until after the show?" asked Mabel.
"Mabel, do you want me to be a sock puppet forever?" asked Dipper.
Mabel started laughing.
"I'm sorry, it's just that you're funny when you're mad." Giggled Mabel.
Dipper made an agar face on the sock puppet .
"Sorry… sorry… little puppet face. "she once again giggled then clamed down, "Okay but you have to cover me while I get the book!"
Meanwhile Wendy was getting worried.
"Okay that's it! We haven't hear anything about this whole demonic possession thing! I'm going to see what's going on and help if I need to! Is anyone with me?" said Wendy.
"I'm in!" said Garrick.
"Pass." Said Blaine.
"Seriously?" asked Garrick.
"Same." Said Stan.
"I would… but I ate too much theater nachos." Mumbled Soos.
"Looks like it's just us then!" said Wendy.
"Yeah." Said Garrick.
Meanwhile back stage, the Sailor Guardians were trying to get untied using some of Rose Knight roses but it was difficult.
That was when Grenda saw them.
"What's going on?" she asked.
"Dipper's possessed by a demon." Said Sailor Moon.
"And also has an amulet that gives him telekinetic powers." Said Sailor Saturn.
"Oh… okay…" said Grenda unsure how to respond.
She moved over to the ropes and ripped it.
"Thank you so much!" said Sailor Moon.
"Do you know where Dipper's journal is?" asked Sailor Mercury.
"It's in the cake, but why?" asked Grenda.
"That's what the demon is after." Explained Sailor Mercury.
"Uh-oh…" said Grenda.
"What?" asked Sailor Mercury.
"I might have told him where it was." Said Grenda.
"We have to get there and fast." Said Sailor Jupiter.
"Thanks Grenda!" said Sailor Venus.
They went to grab journal.
On the catwalk near the cake Mabel went into the cake to grab the Journal. She fell in and the cake started to all however someone caught the rope holding the cake.
"Come on, there has to be a way to reverse it." Said Mabel.
She began to look through the journal.
However she saw the person who saved her, Bipper.
"Bill Dipper…" said Mabel, "Bipper!"
"You wouldn't want to ruin the show, would you?" asked Bipper.
That was when he let go to the rope for a second.
"Uh-oh it's slipping. How about you hand over that book." Said Bipper.
"No way! It's Dipper's!" yelled Mabel.
"Funny, you took that book for your show without even asking." Said Bipper, "So hand over that book, or else your play is ruined."
Mabel began to hand over the journal.
"There it is… after all who would sacrifice something they worked so hard for their dumb sibling?" asked Bipper.
Mabel's eyes winded, she remember all though out the summer the sacrifices Dipper and even Serena did.
"Mine would." Said Mabel taking it back.
"What?" asked Bipper.
Mabel pulled him into the cake and it began to fall. However someone began to pull up the cake before it could hit the floor.
Mabel and Bipper were surprised at who it was.
"Wendy! Garrick!" said Mabel.
"Hey! Bet expecting us!" laughed Garrick as he and Wendy pulled them up.
"So Red and Number 3 wants to play too!" said Bipper.
That was when telekinetically lifted them.
He also lifted himself.
"Looks like the play is ruined after all. You know it will be more fun, to take the journal from your crumpled body!" laughed Bipper.
He then slammed the three to the stage floor.
"I'm sorry Dipper!" thought Mabel.
However Mabel felt the warms of someone holding on her before she landed.
She looked up and saw it was Sailor Mars.
"You okay Mabel? Asked Sailor Mars.
Thankfully Sailor Jupiter saved her sister and Rose Knight managed to save Garrick.
However it should be notched that they did land in the middle of the stage confusing everyone in the audience.
"This isn't part of the show!" yelled Sailor Mars, "I repeat, this isn't part of the show."
"Do you have to say that?" asked Wendy.
"I'm tired of seeing all those things where they just pretend it's all part of the show." Said Sailor Mars.
"Hey she's got a point, I'm getting tired of that too." Said Sailor Jupiter.
"Yeah…" agreed Garrick.
It should be noted in the crowd, the group from Japan was there. And they started to watch with interest.
"(So they're here.)" said Shingo with a smirk in Japanese.
"(I told you we should come.)" said Gurio.
"(You just wanted to watch a weird puppet show.)" said Shingo.
Back on stage Bipper glared at the group.
He telekinetically grabbed all of the sets and sent it at the group.
That was when Sailor Saturn jumped in front of them protecting them with the wall.
"Silence Wall!" she called out.
The debris his an invisible wall.
"Since when could you do that?" asked Sailor Mars.
"I just never used you it before in front of you." Said Sailor Saturn.
Before anything more could be done.
"Sabao Spray!"
The fog rolled in.
Bipper wasn't sure what to do.
"Love Me Chain!"
That was when the chain managed to grab the amulet, just as the fog began to clear.
"Why you!" muttered Bipper.
Sailor Moon jumped down from somewhere and glared at Bipper.
Bipper began to laugh.
"Are you really going to beat up this innocent body?" laughed Bipper.
That was when Mabel got an idea, she handed the Journal to Sailor Mars.
"Sailor Moon! I got an idea! One of Dipper's weaknesses!" said Mabel, "You know the one!"
It took less than a second to know what she was talking about.
"All right! Let's do it!" said Sailor Moon.
Both of ran towards Bipper. Bipper recoiled for whatever they were going to do to him.
However it was much more terrifying than he expecting.
Tickling!
He began to laugh uncontrollably.
"HAHAH! What's happening to me! HAHAAHAH! I'm having body spasms!" he cried.
They stopped and then ran away form him.
"Oh man… what's wrong with this body?" asked Bipper, "It feels like it's failing."
"Jokes on you! Dipper's hasn't slept in days while me I've taken four mega shots of Mabel Juice!" said Serena.
Bipper began to mumble various things he needed to do… however due to the exhaustion Bill was knocked out Dipper's body and Dipper took over.
"I'm back in my body!" said Dipper, "and it's just as underwhelming as I remember!"
Sailor Mercury and Wendy began to help.
"You can't spot me forever!" yelled Bill from a puppet, "You can't stop my plans! Big things are coming. Not even you can stop me Moon!"
That was when Rose Knight threw a rose at the puppet shutting it up.
That was hen they noticed that the audience never left.
"Okay… seriously! He was possessed by an evil demon who was using an amulet to give him super powers and you didn't leave?" asked Sailor Moon.
"Come on! It was a real life super her fight! Do you know how rare those are!" yelled someone in the audience.
Gabe approached the stage.
"Hey Gabe! Sorry about what happened… if you didn't' hear, my brother just possessed by a demon and…"
"I am not speaking to you!" said Gabe, "You made a mockery of my craft."
"How did she make a mockery of your craft, all this was beyond her control!" said Sailor Moon glaring at him.
"she could have prevented it!" said Gabe, "Come long my loves!"
That was when he began walk away making out with his puppets.
"Is he making out his hands?" asked Dipper.
"I tired to warn you." Said Sailor Venus.
"Wait you knew?" asked Mabel, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Would have believed me." Said Sailor Venus.
Though it should be noted Candy did chaise after him saying she still wanted him in Korean.
They all looked at saw that audience was still there.
"Seriously!" yelled everyone on stage.
"All right! Everybody leave! Shows over!" yelled Grenda over the PA system.
"Well that could have gone worse." Sighed Mabel.
"Really? How?" asked Dipper.
"The fireworks could have gone off for some reason." Said Mabel.
They all noticed the large box of Fireworks and agreed that would have been worse.
As the audience left, the group from Japan spoke.
"(Isn't it strange…)" said Shingo.
"(What is?" asked Reika.
"(That those two kids were in the middle of it again?)" asked Shingo.
"You don't' think they're connected, do you?)" asked Motoki.
"(Maybe…)" said Shingo.
And so they decided to have the after party, Hotaru and Amelia were taking care of Dipper's injuries that he sustained thanks to Bill having his body take a beating.
"Dipper… I'm sorry…" said Amelia.
"It's okay… you don't want to ask him…" said Dipper, "It was my choice…"
Amelia sighed, she realized Dipper got hurt so they wouldn't have to ask her grandpa the questions.
"We'll ask him." said Amelia, "Just… give me a bit to plan things out and figure out the best way to ask him."
"Sure…" said Dipper nodding.
Meanwhile Serena was very quiet.
"Serena what's wrong?" asked Darien.
"It's about what Bill said." Said Serena, "About how he had plans… I think the enemy we're supposed to fight… it's Bill."
Darien paled.
"Should we tell them?" asked Dairen.
"We'll later." Sighed Serena.
Dairen nodded.
While Dipper's search the author hadn't gotten much farther, Serena had realized something important… that Bill was the enemy that they were born to fight… and hopefully they would be able to beat them without dying this time.
Next Time: Soos needs to find a date for an upcoming party and Mabel and Marina try to help him ask out girls... however he's so bad he buys a dating sim. Which turns out to house a crazy A.I. Can it get any weirder... oh never mind it turns out Gurio was sent to Gravity Falls to destroy it. What will happen? Find out next time!
