Here's chapter three of Boa Hancock askes for help. Enjoy!
"Does anyone else see a man with his feet on fire running in the sky towards us?" Every amazon on deck thought they were crazy seeing what appeared to be just that. If you were a straw hat however, you knew exactly what that was. Or rather who.
Nami's face was buried in her hands. "Robin. Please tell that isn't who I think it is heading our way."
"Would you like the truth, or a little white lie?" Robin asked. Meanwhile Yamato was waving her arms and shouting out his name to confirm Nami's fears.
Nami let out a small whine.
Running across the sky above the giant snakes pulling the vessel, Black Leg Sanji dropped from the sky. His landing left quite the scorching impact on deck. Feet that were set ablaze died out as Sanji landed on the pirate ship. His heart was thumping even faster in his chest. There was no doubt about it, all the ladies he was looking for were on this ship.
There wasn't a single eye on the Perfume Yuga that wasn't looking at Sanji.
The first thing Sanji saw were all his female crew members. In an instant the fire in his eyes transformed into floating pink hearts. After being separated, they all looked even lovelier than usual. "Nami! Robin! Yamato!" He lovingly called out. "Have no fear, your gallant prince has come to rescue you!"
Having never seen too many men before, the amazons minus Hancock were engaging in discussions if all men had the ability to fly with their feet. Growing up on a female only island had given them only vague ideas of what men were truly like before Luffy arrived. While the amazons gossiped Nami has to ask Sanji how he even managed to find them in the middle of the ocean.
"Oh Nami my dear, it was as though fate had sought to bring us together. A large snake found its way on the Sunny with a note saying you'd all been kidnapped. And if we wanted to see you again, we had to go to a specific island." Sanji explained. "Everyone agreed to head there but I couldn't bear the thought of you all being in danger, so I ran on ahead to find you myself. No matter where you might be in this world, all I have to do is follow my heart and it'll take me right to you!"
"Aww yeah! Thanks for the help. Not that we need it but the more the merrier in a brawl. We're practically saved now." Yamato pumped her fist in the air.
Robin and Nami shared a disagreeing look. The straw hat girls were a lot of things right now. Talented, wanted, powerful, adventurous, and kidnapped to name a few. But right now, saved was not one of the words on the list.
"Thank you for coming all this way to help us, Sanji." Robin said. "But I don't believe you can skywalk your way back to the ship while carrying all of us. I hope you didn't come here without a plan."
"Have no fear mademoiselles. Your rescue has been planned out from start to finish."
He truly did have this whole thing planned out. Step one. Locate the beautiful ladies. Step two. Kick every kidnapper in their faces till they were practically rearranged. Step three. Rescue the beautiful ladies. Step four. Nami, Robin and Yamato confess their love for him. Step five. They return to the sunny. Step one was completed, so it was onto step two.
"No matter who has kidnapped you, your faithful prince will fight through them all to win the day and return you safe and sound."
"Even against your biggest weakness?"
"Huh?"
Rather than tell him, Robin decided to show him. Two of Robin's hands sprouted on Sanji's shoulders, turning his head towards their kidnappers. The cigarette fell from his mouth when he realized who he was up against.
On his left. Beautiful amazons. On the right. More beautiful amazons. And in front, even more beautiful amazons. Each one prettier and more glamorous than the last. All with spears and arrows pointing right at him, but that wasn't important to him. It was all a buffet of beautiful women all focused on him! And standing dead center was the main course.
Boa Hancock.
Time seemed to slow for Sanji as he laid eyes on her. Her beauty defied all sorts of description. It required songs, paintings, and novellas to come close to describing how beautiful this goddess was. That gorgeous face, jewel-like eyes, smooth silky hair, unblemished skin, long legs, large breasts, shapely body… it was almost too much for Sanji to bear. Had his fortitude been the same as in the past, he'd have turned to stone just looking at her. There was no doubt this was indeed the ship of the world renown Kuja Pirates. Full of beautiful ladies. And he was the only man around for miles.
"Sanji?"
Sanji just stood there, staring off into the distance. No one on deck knew what he was doing, but Sanji was thanking every god under the sun for allowing him to exist in this universe at this moment. Except Eneru. He's an ass.
"Oy! Hurry up and help us!" Nami roared.
Boa Hancock stood with her arms folded under her chest watching the straws hats fool around. She'd recognized this man as a member of Luffy's crew from the Straw Hat wanted posters. When it came to pirate crews there tended to be a large number of people making up the crew. However, it seemed Luffy preferred quality over quantity given his small crew size. With how easy it was to kidnap some of them, Hancock was worried if his crew was up to standards. But that would have to be thought about later. Right now she had to deal with this. "Tch… How troublesome." Hancock looked at him with complete disdain. The fact that a man was standing on her ship with his dirty shoes got her blood boiling. Her time with her beloved Luffy had done little to change her opinion of men in general. There was only one man she loved and a small few she could tolerate. This guy was neither. "You there! Man of Straw Hat Luffy's crew. Has your captain sent you here as a messenger to announce his surrender?"
"Oh my goddess. The only surrendering here is my heart to you!" Now that his prayers were in order, Sanji twirled his way over to Hancock taking her hand in his. "My goddess. I feared I would never lay eyes on you again. Such astounding beauty. It must be fate for us to meet once more." He brought her hand up to his lips to kiss it, but it was yanked out of his grasp and instead used to slap him across the face.
"Such insolence." She stroked her hand to rub off any germs he may've gotten on her. The only reason she hadn't turned him into a glorified piece of art on the spot was that she recognized him as a part of Luffy's crew. "Listen you disgusting man. I have an important matter to attend to so just this once I'll overlook your crime. But touch me again and I won't be as merciful. Now go join your captive friends while I prepare myself to take Luffy." The amazons praised Hancock for her generosity as Sanji got back on his feet.
"Take Luffy?" That knocked Sanji out of his love daze. "What do you want with him?"
Hancock didn't say a word, only her angry expression was replaced by a look of absolute love just hearing his name. None of the amazons were saying a word either.
"Let me explain Sanji." Robin took it upon herself to fill Sanji on what had happened. She went into great detail going over everything that happened. Everything from start to finish, including how they were technically the ones responsible for the pirate empress's current quest to take their captain by force. Now that he understood everything Sanji couldn't believe this.
"Hold it!" Sanji called out to the Amazon captain. The flames of anger reigniting in him. "You're doing all this to get to Luffy?"
"You tell her Sanji!" Nami encouraged.
"When I'm right here!?"
"That's what you're mad about!"
"Of course. You may not know this filthy man but love is always a hurricane."
Sanji could relate, but he couldn't let this woman go after Luffy. Not while he could do anything about it. "Forget about Luffy. Wouldn't you rather have someone like me?"
"Why the hell would I possibly want you?"
Hancock didn't need to use her devil fruit powers to turn Sanji's heart to stone and shatter it into tiny pieces.
"Consider yourself a prisoner of the Kuja Pirates. Now stay out of my way. This is your last warning."
"Our apologies for this interruption great pirate empress. We thank you for your generosity." Robin as usual with her calm and cool attitude smiled as she apologized for Sanji.
Even if it pained him to have lost this beauty to Luffy, he couldn't let her just kidnap him. Luffy had done so much for him even when he completely refused his help. The events of whole cake island had always left a sour taste in his mouth from a place that looked so sweet. His captain has fought to protect him, now it was time for Sanji to do the same.
"Hold it!" Sanji yelled again to the pirate empress. "You think you can take Luffy by force and get away with it?!"
She honestly did. Hancock was confident in her strength and no matter her crime; she knew she'd be forgiven. Why? Because she was beautiful.
"If you want to get to Luffy, you'll have to go through me first." The Straw Hat cook challenged with a fire in his eyes.
"How dare you!" One of the amazons yelled. "Standing against our leader during her quest for romance is punishable by death! My empress. Allow us to deal with him. Archers! Take positions! Aim…" The archers pulled back their weapons, every arrow available pointing straight at Sanji.
Hancock raised a hand, ordering her amazons to halt their fire. "Do you actually plan to get in my way?"
"Don't think just because you're beautiful that I'm going to let you do this."
Another defiant man. Hancock knew how to deal with those. "You're not going to stand against me against me…" Her face softened to make herself look extra gorgeous. "Are you?" A small smile and a flutter of her eyes was all it took to turn everyone helpless by her beauty.
"Of course, not my goddess!" Any rebellion in Sanji had died out as he went straight into love move. Hancock motioned him to come over making him harmlessly walked towards her.
"Don't do it Sanji! It's a trap!" Nami warned.
Nami's warning fell on death ears. Sanji's rose-tinted lens were doing too good a job of camouflaging all the red flags planted around the pirate empress. So much that he hadn't noticed the heart shape Hancock's fingers were making.
"Mero Mero Mellow!"
A slow-moving pink heart shaped beam appeared before Sanji as he walked right towards it.
"Look out!"
"Dos Fleur!"
Two arms sprouted from the deck of the ship grabbing ahold of Sanji's ankles, pulling him down to give the wooden deck a chef's kiss. The heart shaped beam flew over him hitting two amazons. Not even they were spared as they turned petrified statues.
"Stone?" Sanji didn't believe it.
"That woman has devil fruit powers Sanji." Yamato warned. "She can make people stoned."
"Turn them to stone." Robin corrected. "Boa Hancock has the powers of the Mero Mero No Mi. It allows its user to use their emotions as weapons and petrify those with emotions of lust and perversion towards her. Do try your best to keep your mind clean Sanji."
This girl had done her homework. Hancock would've have applauded her knowledge if her hands weren't busy firing more beams. Cries of Mero Mero rang throughout the ship as she fired again and again rapidly without rest. Reluctantly Sanji jumped out of the way just as another heart shaped beam came towards him.
As powerful as the Mero Mero beam was, it wasn't without flaws. While it could turn anyone who had impure thoughts about Hancock into a glorified statue, it moved at an incredibly slow pace where one could take their time to avoid. Normally this was no issue as Hancock's enemies were typically stuck in place admiring her. Sanji kept one jump and step of ahead of Hancock's beams. Reluctantly he had to look away from the worlds most beautiful woman just to make sure she wouldn't be the last thing he ever saw. Through the mass, around the sails, and across the deck he ran, but never in front of another lady to make sure no one else got petrified. At this rate, it was clear Sanji wouldn't become a statue anytime soon. Hancock decided to take a more direct approach.
While Boa Hancock was the most beautiful person in the world, she was way more than just a pretty face. She had the ability to use all forms of haki and the strength to be one of the seven pirate warlords. She proved why she deserved that title with one kick straight at Sanji's midsection. The powerful blow sent Sanji staggering back with the wind knocked out of him in just one kick. Seizing to take advantage, Hancock went in with a flurry of strikes. From a punch to a kick Sanji was forced on the backfoot barley moving out the way of each strike as it came. Her strength was no joke. If he didn't fight seriously, she could do some major damage to him.
Sanji kept himself close. It wasn't because he wanted to stay close to this goddess (really, it wasn't he swore!) but to play to his advantages. With observation Haki he was able to keep ahead of Hancock's furious assault. Eventually Sanji found an opening to deliver a kick of his own. Hancock prepared her arm to defend against the incoming attack… At least, that's what she or anyone else would've expected. His right foot swung through the air, ready to make contact with Hancock's arm before coming to a sudden stop a few feet shy of its target.
"…"
"…"
"…"
He just stood there with hit foot sticking out. Hancock raised an eyebrow, expecting something more to happen. After a bit while longer of nothing Sanji kicked forward with his other, only to once again stop a few feet short. He tried again and again unleashing kick after kick. Each time a kick failed; Sanji swapped the opposite foot to no dice.
"What the hell are you doing?"
"Fighting you." Sanji answered honestly as he tried to hurt her.
Hancock blinked her eyes at Sanji's "kicks". Was he was taking her for a fool? Just because he wouldn't hit her didn't mean the vice-versa was true. She took it upon herself to show him what a real kick was. Right in the face.
"Sanji!" Nami cried as her friend was sent flying several feet away landing on his back. He'd just managed to get up as Hancock charged at him, leaping into the air and kicking him back onto the deck with little time to prepare. It was just enough however for Sanji to raise his own leg to block what would've been bone shattering attack. Even though he couldn't bring himself to attack, he could at the very least block to defend himself.
"Come on Sanji! Hit her!" Yamato yelled! This fight was looking more like a one-sided beatdown with Sanji on the wrong end. "I don't get it. Did Hancock do something to him? He's not fighting back."
Yamato hadn't been with the straw hat crew long enough to know the ins and outs of her crewmates. If you said that every member of the straw hat pirates wasn't normal, you'd technically be right. Zoro couldn't find his way out of a paper bag, Franky didn't seem to believe in the concept of pants, Nami practically worshipped money, and did Brooke even have to be said? As for Sanji, he became completely weak when a woman was around, especially when he had to fight against one. No matter what he couldn't bring himself to lay a hand or foot on a woman. Even if his own life or the lives of his friends were in danger, he'd still refuse to hit a woman. This code of chivalry in which the biggest sin was to hurt a woman had been kept for years, and it didn't seem like he'd be breaking it today.
This one sided beat down continued with Sanji taking blow after blow. At this rate Hancock was going to win without question, it just a matter of when instead of if. "Sisters! Aid our Empress! Subdue the man!" An amazon second-in-command ordered.
Any amazon fighters available rushed at Sanji charging in with spears. Their duty to aid their captain bound them to fight and put an end to this before this dragged out.
"That's it! I've waited too long for a good brawl." Yamato jumped in front of the crowd, cracking her knuckles. All that arm wrestling was an okay warm up, and now she was ready for a real brawl. Anyone that wanted to get to Sanji and Hancock would have to go through Yamato first. Which was way easier said then done. Amazons went flying like confetti as the Oni princess tossed them aside. Any amazons that tried to go around the Oni brute found arms blooming off their body holding back their joints. The Straw Hat girls were at work keeping any amazons away from adding to this one versus one fight.
All except for Nami who was barking out orders for Sanji to keep his eyes off the extremely beautiful lady. Unfortunately, when the girls were kidnapped, their weapons weren't stolen with them. Yamato and Robin didn't need weapons specifically to fight, but Nami was the opposite. Not to mention when her crew was in a fight, her preferred method of fighting was lightening the pockets and treasure troves of her enemies. Her pockets were already full from Hancocks bribe for information leaving Nami in charge of Sanji.
"Oy! Eyes off her face!" Nami warned just in time for Sanji to duck.
It didn't look like It but Sanji was honestly trying his best to fight. Maybe if he could just not look at her face, he could put up a fight. He wasn't entirely sure of the logic but it was worth a shot. Through force of will He managed to lower his gaze just below her face. Good news. He wasn't distracted by her face anymore. Bad news. He was trapped staring at something just below. Two big somethings to be precise.
"Where do you think you're looking!?"
Hancock's slap could be heard for miles, sending Sanji spinning till his back was against the wall. Both physically and metaphorically.
Sweat began to drip down Nami's face as she watched her friend take blow after blow. It made her feel sick, all the way to her stomach. "One of us needs to help Sanji or he's a goner."
Yamato currently had four struggling amazons in a headlock. "Can't hands are full."
"So are mine." Robin added. It was taking everything to keep so many strong warriors at bay.
Hancock pressed a finger against her lip, creating a big pink heart on the tip as she positioned her hand in what resembled a pistol.
"Pistol Kiss!"
Heart-shaped bullets flew from her fingers. Going against what any sane person would do, Sanji practically dove for every kiss fired by Hancock. His body recoiled as he became riddled bullets powered by love. In a way… Hancock was techanically sending him kisses if you thought about it. If not for the armament haki protecting him he'd have been a statue. It was a miracle his husk of a body was still able to stand after everything. Sanji opened his eyes, his muscles ached, and his breath was heavy. Ignoring the goddess in front of him he watched as his friends fought to protect him. Hadn't he said he would be the one who was going to save them?
He closed his eyes. The tears of Nami and Robin. Memories of being shipwrecked with Zeff. The two years sent training on the island of tranies.
Every hellish memory flashed through his mind. Now more than ever he needed motivation to win this fight. To do what he'd swore he'd never do. Standing back up, Sanji begun to spin rapidly in place. Just one kick. That's all he needed. One strike to put an end to this and save everyone. Sparks begun to flicker until his leg fully burst into flame. Once his foot was completely on fire he ceased spinning.
"DIABLE JAMBE-" Sanji began, a dangerous scowl darkened his features despite the fire radiating from his inflamed limb. The effect gave him the look of some sort of demon birthed from the depths of hell. With a foot encased in an inferno of flame, his limb extended right at Hancock's face to strike with his flaming leg. Just one kick. That was all he needed to land. "MOUTON SHOT!"
Such a dramatic attack didn't go unnoticed. Everyone was watching the attack to see if this was the one that would actually make contact. Closer and closer his leg moved towards Hancock. Until…
"No way…."
"Did that man just kick her!?"
"That monster!"
"Empress! Are you all right!?"
Sanji's foot. Hancock's face. If you looked from afar, it looked like they'd collided. On closer inspection however, you'd find just a few inches of space separating them from contact. The heat had completely vanished cooling down to an average body temperature. Even though he'd failed once again to hurt a women, Sanji was still smiling. It wasn't his first time trying to hit a woman, but it was the closest he'd ever gotten to doing so. Overall, he was happy with this.
Hancock wasn't.
"Enough."
Hancock drove her foot straight in-between Sanji's legs. It may've just been the ocean, but everyone heard what sounded like something breaking.
His hands immediately grasped his attacked area. Mouth wide open with his legs giving up trying to stand and let his knees take over. It was miracle neither of them had popped from that kick.
The closer she got, the more disgusted he became with this man. Even appearing threatening with that scowl on her face she was still beautiful. "Luffy spoke really highly about his crew when he talked about you. Whatever it is he values about you, I don't see it." Hancock pinched the bridge of her nose. "For the first time I'm honestly questioning Luffy's decisions because of you. You're nothing but a bad joke of a pirate." She got into one of her signature poses, hands pointed outward at him. Enough time had been wasted. It was time to end this so-called 'fight'.
"Mero Me-"
Before she could finish, a couple of hands sprouted off Hancock's body holding apart her fingers. Hancock's head turned so quickly she may have suffered whiplash. The black haired one with devil fruit powers stood defiantly. She was going as far as the lay her hands on her. Something that was punishable by death to Hancock. This whole situation had left Hancock rather annoyed. But now, she was pissed. "You dare lay your hands on me?" Once she stated putting in effort, Robin couldn't even attempt to hold Hancock back. Nor could she stop her from pointing her hands at herself and Nami.
"Mero Mero Mellow!"
There wasn't enough time to dodge. Just before the beam hit, Nami felt herself get shoved aside out of the way onto the deck. Robin remained with both arms extended two, leaving herself emerged in the pink heart beam. Within seconds, all of Robin had turned to stone. Despite this, there was still a smile on her stony face knowing she had at saved her friend for a least a little longer.
"Robin!" The straw hats screamed like bloody murder at their friend-turned-statue.
"Don't worry. Your friend isn't dead, just petrified. So long as she doesn't shatter, she'll be perfectly fine." Be turned to stone left the person in a state of suspended animation. At least that was the best way Hancock would describe how her powers worked. Despite this mutiny, Hancock had no intention of shattering her or any of them. Yes. Even the blonde male, no matter how much she wanted to smash her leg against his stone curly eye brows. Luffy would never forgive her if she did something like that.
In her stone-bound state every limb Robin sprouted vanished. Half the amazon crew Robin was holding back took to action. Trying t wear her down wasn't working so they went with a plan of rushing her at once. Every time Yamato pulled one amazon off two more latched onto her. "Dang it! Oy! Get off me!" Yamato had incredible strength but even she couldn't take on so many highly trained amazons at once. It was a battle of quality versus quantity with the latter eventually winning out. It took a large number of amazons but the oni was subdued, forced down on the ground. Unlike Nami who only needed a single amazon to be pinned to the deck.
Hancock let out a saddened sigh, sparing a glance at the stone straw hat. It was a real shame to lose that treasure trove of information on Luffy, but that was the price she paid for laying a hand on her. She'd overlooked it once today and wouldn't do it again. The straw hat rebellion had been all but quelled, now it was time to end it. Starting with the man who started this treacherous act.
"Sanji! You have to do something! Now!" Nami called out. Beads of sweat were dripping down her face. Sure Hancock was a beautiful pirate warlord with an overinflated ego and questionable affection for Luffy, but pirate warlord was in the title. In a short time, she'd managed to leave Sanji a broken man in the physical sense. And if she was this dead set on doing the same to Luffy, she may actually follow through on taking him if it plays ous.
Though it pained him to have his friends hurt, Sanji still couldn't bring himself to rally. Resigning himself to his stone fate.
"Fight back Sanji!" Nami yelled. "You're the only one who can stop Hancock now."
"I can't." Sanji hated to admit it but this was all his fault. He just had to challenge the beautiful pirate empress. He just had to pick a fight with a woman. Once again, he'd acted like a big shot trying to fight a women to help his friends only to get beaten down and need someone else to save him. Only this time, there wouldn't be someone else to take over the fight for him. It was going to be up to the rest of the Straw Hats to fix his mess. Sanji cursed himself. If he hadn't tried to be a big hero, this wouldn't have happened. This was all his fault. "I can't kick her. There's nothing I can do to her."
"If you can't hit her then try something else!"
"What?"
"You're more than just legs. You've got a decent head in there Sanji. So figure out another way to win."
Even though he acted goody and lovesick at times, Sanji wasn't a complete idiot. When things looked bad, he could be considered one of the more serious and level-headed members of the crew. All those delicious meals he would cook came from memorization and knowing so many ways to prepare food. Not to mention this was the same guy who out-smarted Crocodile to save them and planned ahead to close the gates of Justice to escape Enies Lobby. When his brain wasn't filled with lewd or naughty thoughts, there was a good head on his shoulders.
Hancock didn't understand what they were talking about, nor did she care. Her fingers were pointed straight at the man, ready to turn him into a statue whenever she felt like it. "Do you have anything you wish to say before I turn you to stone?"
How about 'Please don't turn me to stone.'? His brain was working overtime to come up with the magic words to somehow fix this mess he made. Did they exist? Probably not but he had to try. It wasn't fair. How could a woman whose beauty shined so brightly be this twisted and dark? Going as far as to resort to kidnapping all for take Luffy by force. All for Luffy. All for Luffy… For Luffy… A sly smile made its way on Sanji's face. He'
Sanji slowly managed to raise his head to look the pirate empress dead in the eyes.
"H… H…. Hideous!"
Everyone on the ship froze.
"W-What did you just say?"
"You heard me! I said this is HIDEOUS!"
Writing battle scenes aren't my strong points, but I wanted to push myself to write an exciting battle even with Sanji's handicap. Still, It helped push this chapter to be the longest one yet.
