5. Chapter 05: Cutting Edge

Greetings to many Beast War fans, I know you been patiently waiting for this chapter update. I been busy with a lot of things, but I didn't forget this one. Just needed a little time, research, and planning steps for future chapters. Especially what to do with so many extra OCs I didn't use in Season 2. And how they can appear but what about the Transmetal II thing everybody wants? So I decided that somewhat of a later time I may have to place them extra OCs from Season 2 as some extra members of the two other ships that fell onto Nexus Earth that will come at a later time. Or possibly have them become Transmetal IIs. But I shall leave that decision to my dear reviewers. After all, it ain't easy juggling so many characters and deciding who gets some screen time, etc. So anyway, kick back and get ready to enjoy the show, plus what other surprises may lie ahead. And I think many will know, what that means…

Chapter 05: Cutting Edge

SOMEWHERE IN A JUNGLE AREA

The scene zooms away from a tall white mountain, pass some rocky canyons, and focuses on a thick jungle area. Zooming in, we a lot of trees before spotting something: a narrow trail with something rustling and making guttural voices. And we soon see familiar primate creatures: the Protohumans. Also having been label as the Next Generation Human Race that's developing on Nexus Earth. Of course now the ape-like creatures undergone changes resembling human-like Neanderthal state of evolution. They were seen walking on two legs instead of four. The color theme was more darker skin with less furriness and change to more hair-like substance. Another sign was spotting many wearing made brown clothes wrapped around the waist areas. Among this group, the one leading them was even more familiar and carrying a weapon. This guy was described as Hammer, and was among the Protohumans that was saved by Dinobot and carried the fashion weapon left behind.

"Sniff-sniff…" Hammer sniffs the air, having acquired the actions of hunter to inspect things around.

When it was clear, Hammer continued to move along with the club over his shoulder. However, something was moving around the brushes having spotted five Protohumans: three adults and two children in the middle of one girl and one boy. The Neanderthal girl stops to pick up a flower to show the boy before picking off the petals to toss into the air. Compared to the grown ups, they seem to have normal eyes with the girl having blue and the boy having brown.

"Gaugh-Hahahah!/Hahahah…Wahahah…" The Neanderthal children laugh at the funny discover and ran ahead.

"Urraagh!?" One Neanderthal holding up the rear stops to catch the drifting flower pedals, curious by such wonders.

However, the Neanderthal that stop to inspect the pedals fell behind, and something was watching him. "GROOUUARrrrgh!" And that's when something was running towards the helpless prey as it growls upon closing in as the Neanderthal had a horrified shock expression and about to scream before it was too late.

The noise and action caught Hammer's attention to look back. And saw something nothing but the bushes moving, but no sign of the rear hunting companion. "Groooaarrr!" A low growl was heard, that was plenty to alert those of danger.

"Woooh! WRAAAaurgh!" Hammer let off ape-like sounds, warning the group of a hostile enemy.

"Waaaugh!/Arrh-Arrrrhhh!?" The children yelps as they ran with the other Neanderthal while Hammer stay behind.

"Hiisss….Aurghh!" A low predator sound was heard, forcing Hammer to back away while holding his club up. The bushes were moving, something was there that took Hammer's comrade. But what was seen shocked anyone of what burst through the foliage and into the open view. "GROOUURRAAUUOOOHHH!" What appeared was savage manufactured predator with cables and wires protruding through the skin: like some sort of Cyber-Raptor!

"Ohhh-Ahhh!?" Hammer yelped from never seeing such a terrifying creature, it's completely unnatural.

"Graarrrrr!" The Cyber-Raptor turns, growls with it's glowing red eyes at the next target.

"Waaaahhh!" Hammer yelps in terror before turning around to flea.

"GROOUUARRRRH!" The Cyber-Raptor roars again, before stomping across the trail to pursue the next victim. "REeerrrrr!" Hammer was far ahead, but the chasing cyber creature was not far behind.

Hammer looks back, as the creature was still chasing him. "Pow…/BAM!" But then the Cyber-Raptor shots sizzling red eye beams that blew up where the Neanderthal was and left a hole. "Thous…/Bam!" Another red eye beam shot blew another hole which the target escape. "Thous…/Bam!" The next shot blew up where Hammer ran by a tree which caught on fire.

"GRAauurrrghhh!" The Cyber-Raptor roared as it approached a fork in the road. During a brief moment, Hammer seem to have slipped by the bushes to escape either down a dark crater to the right or more bushes and trees to the left. "Grugrugraaarrhh…" The raptor growls to look at both sides, trying to decide which way the target fled. "Mruuargh…Grruagh! MRaaauh!?" The Cyber-Raptor huffs in annoyance, unable to determine which way to go. "Grrrooarrrh…" It lets off a low growl, as if pondering what to do next here.

However while the Cyber-Raptor was processing it's thoughts, behind it was a tree surrounded by bushes. But under the tree's open roots, were the Neanderthal boy and girl who choose to hid.

"Ummmm-Ummmm-Ahmm…." The girl was scared as their knees shaking, as the boy tried to shush her with a hand to the mouth so they won't be found out.

"GRaaaurgh!/Waaahhh! Waahhhh!" Then the Cyber-Raptor roared as it tried to chop it's jaws at the children. "Grrooarrr!/Waaaah-Waaahhh!" The Cyber-Raptor approach that it corner the boy as he screamed while the girl slip out.

"Ahhh…AAAaaaahhhhhhaaaaahhhhh!" The girl screamed, as it calling out for help. "Ugh!?" She then stopped from hearing a thunderous noise from above.

Appearing over was Optimus Primal in Jet Mode, accompanying the Maximal Commander was Silverbolt, Air Hammer, Noctorro and Wing-Saber in Robot Mode. And accompanying them were the Lyoko Warriors and the New Warriors flying by natural or by Over-Vehicles…

"Looks like we found something, and it ain't pretty." William stated on what they fine making a mess.

"I'll say!" Ulrich replied off to agree on seeing the Cyber-Raptor.

"Everyone! Protect those children!" Optimus pointed his right hand down to issue the command to protect the innocent children below.

"He's not talking about us, right?" Odd asked the others of the group to clarify who were the children.

"Oh Odd!?/Give it a break." Sissi and Yumi rolled their eyes in not wanting the odd boy to joke at such a time.

"GRUuooorrr!" The Cyber-Raptor comes out of the tree to roar at those above.

"Poww…/BOOM!" Silverbolt aims his wing missile launchers to open fire, they explode on the ground but miss the target slightly. "Thous…/BAM!/Waaauh-Aaaaugh!?" The Cyber-Raptor fires red laser eyes that impact the Fuzor and caused Silverbolt to spun out of control to crash down on the ground.

"Silverbolt!" Aelita cried out, as she was flying down to help the bot but…

"Woah! Watch out!" Noctorror flew to cover Aelita from about to be shot next. "BAM!/Grrrr…" Noctorro growls from taking a surprise attack like that.

"Gurrrr…" The Cyber-Raptor looks at Optimus, as his next target.

"Don't worry, a little Tornado Fist will…" Jin was about to attack when….

"POW…" Optimus fired his turret blasters off as two spheres of energy. "BOOM!/GRUUARRRRR!" The attack explodes and knock the Cyber-Raptor across the area. "BASH!" The enemy hits a rocky area, which caused a loose large rock above to wobble and fall downwards. "ROARrrrrr!?/CRUSH!" The Cyber-Raptor roars before getting crushed by the heavy flat giant rock: the tail had face up before flapping down on the ground as the cyber creature was terminated.

"Or….he could do that?" Tytree scratch his noggin that Optimus had beaten Jin to the punch.

Silverbolt walked out from where he crashed, as he held his left arm which was damaged during the fight. Optimus position himself, before making loud mechanical sounds as his body shifted and transformed into his Robot Mode. "STOMP!" The big Maximal Commander made a heavy stomp impact, as he towers over to look down.

"Woooaaah!?" The Neanderthal girl stares up while the boy comes out as they were in 'awe' and apparently seem very happy.

"Hmmm…looks like this here was the only one. Too bad…"Noctorro was later landing with the others after scouting the place. "Wanted to blast another of those things. Whatever they were?" The bot was gun-ho on going into another brawl fight here.

"These two…they are organic…they almost seem…almost human-like?" Air Hammer studied the primate kids to determine such a first look study.

"Wait, you don't think…they might be…" Yumi was thinking what the other human children and teens thought…

"I think so, they must be members of the Next Generation Of Humans that Megatron tried to destroy and change the future." Jeremie nods his head to confirm it, these two are protohumans that are very much like the human beings of their world that have started to appear. "Base on their evolution, they evolved into the Neanderthal state." It's been a long time, and already this species shows signs of human evolution: it's like reliving history for those already present.

"Don't forget, they're fully clothed. If that doesn't show modern decency, then they're still far behind." Odd smirks to make a light joke abut the subject.

"Better save the jokes. They're not ready for bad puns like that yet." Sissi remark to Odd about him joking around.

"What now Optimus? We can't just leave them out here? Those…things might come back." Aelita looked to Optimus on what they must do since they interfered at this time.

"For the moment…we need to get back and report this." Optimus exclaim on what they should do under these circumstances. "We'll take them with us." He instructed those here on what they do with the protohuman children.

"Then it's time to fly!" Noctorro proclaim as he knew what this could mean.

Soon many were transforming or calling their Over-Vehicles to prepare for take off.

"Ahhhhh!?" The Neanderthal boy and girl stared at Aelita due to her glowing little wings.

"Oh, did I do something?" Aelita was a bit surprise that she was getting attention.

"No Aelita, I think they were amazed when you summoned your Angel Wings." Jeremie stated on what was the logic for those that are still at the primitive stage view things.

"Heh, looks like they like you Aelita, your like an angel to them. Got It Memorized?" Axel exclaim on what anyone could tell and tap his head to have those remember that.

"Air Hammer, help Silverbolt up, everyone…let's go." Optimus gave the order to help an injury bot at the moment. "We have much to discuss." He mention this under his firm tone, on what threats they maybe facing.

Wasn't long before everyone took off, and with some new addition to the count as well. The scene went slightly dark at this time…

MUCH TIME LATER

AT THE MAXIMAL FORT

"Guurrr-Urrrgh, NRaaaurrhh…" The scene begins to change, showing a blue holographic display of a Cyber-Raptor from the center table. Soon a digital green line appeared, trying to determine the strange cyber creature as it was walking in a slow motion. There were some remains of the Cyber-Raptor on the table to help determine it's origin. Around the place was Optimus, Rhinox, Jack-Tool, Dive-Bomb, Longrack, even Jeremie and Aelita took part in researching this creature.

"Hmm. Metallurgical analysis shows the component parts are made of Cybertronian alloys." Rhinox hums to himself, as he types on the keyboards and points to a monitor showing intel about what they learn about the Cyber-Raptor.

"So…Megatron's behind this." Optimus firmly narrows his eyes, believing this was the work of Megatron behind such a creation.

"From what you brought back and from what was recorded, the data doesn't lie. They're infused with what is likely how Transformers gain their Beast Modes." Jack-Tool mentions another component that reveals the Cyber-Raptors are somewhat like Transformers but not quite the same.

"Cloning long-extinct raptors and fusing them with Transmetal technology." Rhinox types to determine the birth of these creatures. "The Axelon's logs match this with a previous matter though slightly different." The big guy briefly brought up something that ties this with an old case long ago.

"Wait, didn't Megatron try this once before?" Jeremie raise an eyebrow, remembering that there was a clone event from before the Quantum Surge occurrence.

"I remember that…" Aelita nods her head to confirm, as she recalls every moment. "Megatron once made a clone of Dinobot, and…Of Jeremie. They even tried to clone me before." The girl could never forget that horrible event of the enemy using clones.

"Yes, we were lucky that there were some remains of those clones that were Jeremie and Dinobot to study their genetic structure and makeup." Longrack exclaim from knowing that without having a sample of those enemy clones, they couldn't use the Axelon's old memory data to piece them to the Cyber-Raptors.

"Ugh, I'm not. I still have moments of thinking when picturing a clone of me being eaten!?" Jeremie shivered because while they overcame that problem, the only samples of Dinobot and his clone…were after the Ex-Pred had EATEN THEM! The boy still has bad memories of that event.

"Didn't we have some bots destroy Megatron's attempt to clone anymore?" Optimus ponders a thought that everyone was curious about.

"Yes, but to say it was stop for good…unlikely." Rhinox shook his head that while they put a stop to Megatron's cloning experiment, he didn't stop trying. "In fact, it may have pushed Megatron to recreate and make adjustments to create these Cyber-Raptors." Rhinox stated on how this may have motivated the enemy to improve his earlier attempts of cloning. "And that might not be the worse of it. There's possibly others." The big green bot felt concern if there are others like this one.

"Which means…" Optimus began to say while his eyes stared at the holographic digital image. "We could have trouble." Optimus softly stated on what trouble was waiting for them around the corner.

"Raaurrrhh…" The digital Cyber-Raptor made a low roar, behaving like a real raptor. Everyone was worried about facing off against these new dangerous things the Predacons were preparing.

ELSEWHERE IN THE FORT

The scene changes to show Rattrap was walking down a corridor that was made embedded within the rocks of the volcano.

"Door opening." A deep male computer voice was heard making this announcement.

"Ehh?" Rattrap turns to spot the security door slowly rising up and a red light flashing.

Rattrap quickly rushed to hid behind the corner of the corridor to look at who's coming out. The one that came out was none other then Blackarachnia, as she had some container from a Stasis Pod component under her left arm. After looking right and left, she began to walk out to take the opposite route of where Rattrap came from.

The security door opens. Rattrap steps aside, hidden from view.

"Door closed." The deep male computer voice announced as when the she-spider left, the door resealed it's self when the visitor was done.

"Gahh-Hahahah!" Without warning, the Neanderthal children barrel down the side corridor, laughing and shouting as they ran pass the she-spider.

The Boy and Girl barrel suddenly in from a side-corridor, laughing and shouting. Blackarachnia reacts. NEANDERTHAL KIDS (playful laughing)

"Hey! Watch where…" Blackarachnia yelps from the sudden rushing kids, which caused her to yelp as it knock the container.

"Hahah-Hahahahh…." The Neanderthal children continued to run around laughing in joy, as they went pass Rattrap who hid but watch something else unfold. From the rolling container, the lid burst open out and some information disk slipped out.

"Hey whoa!" Then Cheetor was seen rushing down the corridor in pursuit of the kids, but pulled himself up to a half-second too late when encountering Blackarachnia. "Uh hi." Cheetor sheepishly smile as he discovered he half-embrace the she-spider without realizing it.

"Hey Cheetor! Did you see…" Aquarius was heard as she, Jackrabbit, Terra-Lock, Ladybug, Salvage and Trans-Mutate ran before stopping. "What the?!" And boy were they surprise by this strange encounater.

"Ugh, did we cut into something here?" Jackrabbit raise an eyebrow, unsure what to make of this.

"Yeah, I think we sorta did when chasing those kids all over." Terra-Lock scratch his head, trying to not pay much attention to this awkward scene.

"Doh…What is this? A military base, or a daycare center for under-evolved bipeds?" Blackarachnia irritably remarked about how things seem less like those fighting for survival and more in the daycare matter.

"Well hey, it can't be helped. We were asked to watch them." Ladybug stated that they were requested to watch the Neanderthal kids while they stayed here for a bit.

"So why aren't you watching them properly?" Blackarachnia remarked about the lack of these cadet base Maximals not performing their duties seriously.

"Sorry about that. They're just here until we can find their..." Cheetor seem a bit shamed-faced for the problem; but he seem almost lost when he was looking at the she-spider so closely to realize despite being an Ex-Pred, was actually… "Tribe…" A record player made a scratch sound, as the cat bot went ahead to say this part.

"Let go of me!" Blackarachnia remarked a bit irritated as she used her pincer hands on the bot's arms.

After the she-spider shoved the cat bot's arms off her, Blackarachnia approached what fell on the ground.

"Uh. This was my fault, so let me help..." Cheetor quickly catches himself from the weird scene and event that happened and tried to make up for it.

Rattrap narrows his eyes, watching the pincer claw grab one of the Maximal disks that fell out of the container. The rat bot silently went down the corridor without making a sound. Having a suspicion about what Blackarachnia maybe up to and was not telling any of them.

"I got this, why don't you go back to ape-sitting." Blackarachnia remarked as she now had her canister case and soon turns to leave.

"Well that was a bit rude." Salvage exclaim on the thanks they got just now.

"Yeah, but maybe cut her some slack…after all…She hasn't gotten use to being with us." Cheetor stated on knowing how it must feel to get use to different surroundings.

"Speaking of which, are you feeling good Cheetor?" Jackrabbit ponders from having seen something odd in the cat-bot's behavior.

"You seem to display a different action against Blackarachnia then usual?" Trans-Mutate brought up a strange topic that Cheetor doesn't show to former enemies. "It's curious since before you had such…anger towards her?" Then Artemis spoke through Trans-Mutate that before the Quantum Surge, Cheetor never did trust the she-spider much.

"Oh my gosh, Cheetor…do you actually have…a crush on her?" Ladybug exclaim from realizing that perhaps the young cadet, had developed a secret crush on Blackarachnia.

"Wha-Hah!? No way!?" Cheetor yelped to react in sheer surprise by such a thought. "I just…think she's…pretty something now?" He tried to act casual, as if not letting it slip out.

"Really? What about the time when she was on the enemy side? She knock you off your block, beaten you down in Cyber-Martial Arts, and who could forget she nearly tried to BLAST your head with Cyber Venom!" Aquarius narrow her eyes a bit annoyed to remain the cat bot of all the troubles Blackarachnia put Cheetor through when the Beast Wars between Maximal and Predacon were in their early stages.

"Those where when we were enemies, she's different now. She's like Dinobot, an Ex-Pred who joined our side. That's all, we're just handling how we can get along." Cheetor tried to make a good excuse to say as his argument.

"Except Dinobot was a male and even then you had some beef here and there. Blackarachnia is different, she's a fembot, and pretty much a deadly beauty to anyone she catches in her sight." Salvage explain there's a big difference between when Dinobot joined the Maximals and when Blackarachnia came afterwards.

"Yeah, and who could forget, she's already taken a fancy to someone. And I rather stay FAR Apart then get involved." Terra-Lock issue from knowing that if any bot was to mess with Blackarachnia, Silverbolt will have something to say about it.

"Excuse me, but…shouldn't we be looking for the children?" Trans-Mutate cuts in to remind everyone of their task they left and forgotten about.

When realizing that the group forgot their active duty, they decided to put the subject on hold to look for the Neanderthal children.

MEANWHILE

MAXIMAL COMMAND CENTER

The scene changes to the Command Center at this moment. Course we were focusing on an empty seat that was not being used.

"Haahh! Hah!?" Then the Neanderthal boy jumps to land and then sat down on the rotating seat.

"Ohhh-ahh!?/Waaahh!?" The Neanderthal girl approach the seat while the boy looks it over too. "Wahah-Wahahaha…WAaaaahaaahaaahaaahh?" Then the girl pushed a button, causing the chair to rotate crazy as she clap to laugh happily while the boy yelps the whole time.

Soon we spot Optimus approaching the Command Center were some Maximals assembled: Rattrap leans to the hatch elevator, while Cheetor, Blackarachnia, Rhinox, and Silverbolt step closer to the center table. Then Air Hammer, Noctorro, Jack-Tool, Dive-Bomb, Longrack, Jackrabbit, Terra-Lock, Ladybug, Salvage and Trans-Mutate came along with the human teams of the Lyoko Warriors and New Warriors.

"We're here Optimus!" Axel called forth to announce their presence.

"Yeah, so what's the big event!?" Jin asked from eagerly awaiting what's gonna happen.

"It actually involves our new guest." Optimus stated about the two protohuman children they took in

"Oh, you mean Chak and Una!?" Odd address those of who everyone was talking about.

"Pardon? Do you mean to say you already named them?" Dive-Bomb raise an eyebrow when hearing Odd already gave names to the Neanderthal children.

"Yeah, Odd thought about giving them names to make it easier to know who's who. And help communicate with them better." Ulrich explain the issue about knowing how they can try to keep in touch with those that have some intelligence to listen and think.

"So we decided naming them could help out when we wanna address them." William nods to confirm that it is as what they decided.

"So they were both named by Odd?" Salvage ponders if the odd boy was the one who gave the names.

"Actually, everyone wrote names on paper and then randomly picked up a boy and girl name." Sissi stated on how the idea to give the names out worked.

"Okay, so if they been given names, what's this about the Protohumans?" Tytree turns back to hear what Optimus wanted to say earlier.

"Someone needs to escort the children back to their tribe." Optimus addresses the manner to help the Neanderthal children return to the group they got separated from.

"Well that doesn't sound too bad? Who do you have in mind to take part?" Jackrabbit smiled to hear what Optimus thought of who be assign such an easy job.

"For the moment, we need to take this step cautiously after what we encounter. So first one up…" Optimus firmly address the topic to be something serious on his choice of selecting teams. "Blackarachnia." Optimus turns to address the she-spider on the spot.

"Me?" Blackarachnia points her left pincer claw to herself in shock. "Oh. Give the job to someone who can fly." She signs to drop her arms, then shrug off her shoulders to suggest the best mode of transporting the Neanderthal kids were those that cover more ground.

"Hmm. Our sensors don't register organics properly…" Rhinox approaches to explain this matter to the she-spider. "Not much chance of locating the tribe from the air." He shakes his head to regretfully state that their system won't locate organics especially to those that may not belong to the same tribe as the children they have with them.

"Oh really, and what about the Key and her little band of Meta-Human buddies?" Blackarachnia remarked that while Aelita is from Cybertron, she is almost as organic as the humans on Nexus Earth.

"Before we couldn't determine different organics, that's why we given Jeremie and everyone else special devices so we can identity them." Longrack explain how they could determine who was who from having human allies. "But right now even if most of the planet's human population has gain Meta-Human powers and abilities, the Protohumans are unmistakably close to matching a real human being. So it's not as simple as pinning one individual bot from a whole planet." The guy explain the topic when viewing the subject on trying to look a needle in a haystack, a planet-size one that is.

"So how will we help Chak and Una find the tribe they belong to?" Jackrabbit was very confused, so how would anyone perform the task if scanning for the right tribe is out.

"The answer to that is simple. The children will have to lead the way, on foot." Optimus looks down when spotting Una approach him as the big bot issue the only chance was letting the kids be the guide.

"Oh, make my day. A nature walk?" Blackarachnia remarked on how things sound worse about doing something against her character and with kids.

"A dangerous one. But necessary." Optimus issue to say while he lifts his right hand as Una was swinging on the index finger like a primate on a tree branch. "The Cyber-Raptors are Megatron's handiwork, and you know Megatron better than anyone." Optimus address the matter to shrug off the shoulders, knowing Blackarachnia's knowledge on how Megatron would use such creatures is invaluable to be wary of.

"Eh...havin' been his little eight-legged lieutenant..." Rattrap sotto voice when sharing his thought about what the she-spider was when working for the Predacons before switching sides.

Blackarachnia shoots Rattrap a sidelong look, knowing the rodent had issues of her being a Predacon and serving Megatron.

"Rattrap. Be quiet." Optimus turns to lecture the rodent to keep his comments to himself. Rattrap looks away, remaining silent to the whole thing.

"Terrific. Me and the junior forest rangers." Blackarachnia sourly looks to Optimus, shrug off her arms from knowing this will be a day she'll wanna forget.

"Waaah-Aahhh, Aaahhhh!?" At this moment, the spinning rotating chair stopped and Chak made dizzy moans: probably from being so dizzy from the experience.

"Okay, so Blackarachnia is the best choice against knowing old Mega-Breath, who else is going?" Noctorro raise an eyebrow to ponder who else is gonna go on this kiddy walk stuff.

"Many of our comrades are currently taking other mission objectives. Finding missing Stasis Pods to the other two ships that crash, we may have to delay before going out?" Air Hammer stated on how they are short handed and their hands are tied with protecting the Ark.

"No need. I'll accompany her." Silverbolt steps up with a raise right hand, offering to assist Blackarachnia with the task given to the she-spider.

"Negative. You've sustained damage." Optimus raises a hand, to forestall protest while allowing the Neanderthal girl to walk away after having her swing feel. "And besides, I want Blackarachnia's full attention on the job at hand." Optimus stated on wanting there to be no distractions knowing Silverbolt and Blackarachnia's little relationship.

"Ouch! Guess that means no romantic moments for those two." Terra-Lock cringed to whisper this to Jackrabbit on what Optimus meant by such a topic.

"I'll go with her." Cheetor walked up with a raise right hand, offering to assist.

Blackarachnia turns to stare at the young cadet, and was join unknown by Silverbolt's glare.

"Well if Cheetor's going, then I also volunteer!" Aquarius spoke up with a firm and serious expression on her face.

"I'll help too!" Jackrabbit offered to join as well.

"Yeah, it might be interesting." Terra-Lock replied from wanting to also help out.

"Hmmm, that might be a bit hard to have only cadets partake?" Jack-Tool was uncertain if they allow those under the cadet class handle this task.

"Actually, I would also like to partake." Jeremie offer to help take part to join on this mission.

"Jeremie?" Aelita looked to the guy curiously, this surprised everyone else too.

"It's okay Aelita, I wanna maybe see how far the Next Generation of Humans has developed. It's a scientific discovery I wouldn't wanna pass up." Jeremie smiled from knowing the biggest event that has yet to happen on Nexus Earth could be one for the record books. "Don't worry, I'll be fine, I'll have everyone else with me and we'll stay in contact." He offered that with all of them working together, they can do this.

"Agreed." Optimus nods his head, firmly agreeing to allow those to partake with Blackarachnia and take the Neanderthal children back.

Blackarachnia rolled her eyes and shook her head, seeing this was just peachy before walking off. Course Silverbolt was letting off a low growl at someone stealing this moment. Cheetor was a bit puzzle by what was eating up the Wolf Fuzor and avoids the gaze.

"The rest of us will stay here. We've got plenty of work to do, installing the defense-systems." Optimus instructs everyone else of what their task are for the time being: beefing up their defenses.

Slowly everyone was leaving the Command Center, preparing to work their own areas during this time. But of course, Silverbolt continued to glare and release a low growl at seeing someone else wanting to be with the she-spider of his.

OUTSIDE THE FORT

The scene begins to open outside the fort where the door portion for the Blast Doors was open. That's when we see Cheetor in Beast Mode accompanying the Chak while the Una was walking with Blackarachnia. In the rear we see Terra-Lock with Jackrabbit riding on the guy as both were in Beast Mode, and lastly were Aquarius and Jeremie tailing along. At this moment, the outside security camera for the fort rotates to zoom in on those leaving. And inside the fort, the monitor displays Cheetor with the Chak…but the cadet seem oddly more eager and more spirited as if feeling good about himself.

"Is it just me, or is our boy looking particularly bushy-tailed, today?" Rhinox ponders as he and Rattrap monitor the screen of what odd action was happening with Cheetor's group.

"I'm still a bit concern if we should allow a mission like this to those under cadet class? Especially Jackrabbit who likes to get into trouble." Jack-Tool felt a bit suspicious if this was wise to leave such a task for the cadets.

"Come now, I'm sure that everyone will be on their best behavior. They'll all be fine." Longrack stated on trying to sound positive over such worries.

"Eh, it's the web-lady I'm wonderin' about." Rattrap darkly remarks to look to those present in stating about who's the extra company of the group.

"Blackarachnia, why's that?" Dive-Bomb raise an eyebrow when having heard the rodent mention the she-spider's name.

"Call me paranoid, but I don't trust Preds." Rattrap turns to focus on the screen where, just for a moment, Blackarachnia seem to be looking back with a suspicious look while continuing to walk with the group. "I don't trust spiders ... and I don't trust dames who sneak in and out of classified areas when they think nobody's watchin'." Rattrap remarks and issue what he thinks about Blackarachnia especially after seeing her suspicious action earlier today.

"Wait, she snuck into classified areas?" Dive-Bomb asked a bit surprise when having heard this for a first time.

"Come to think about it, we did bump into her when chasing Chak and Una?" Ladybug held her chin to recall precisely where and what happen when bumping into Blackarachnia.

"All the more proof to my point!" Rattrap issue that his argument would be solid.

"What are you saying?" Rhinox turns a bit startled by Rattrap's words about Blackarachnia.

"Yeh, I'm sayin' that our little spider chum…" Rattrap was about to sternly remark what he knows Blackarachnia truly is in reality…

Course, Rattrap got cut off by loud shifting gears that were heard nearby. It turns out to be Silverbolt who rode the hatch elevator up to arrive on the scene. But the Wolf Fuzor turn his firm gaze at the rodent from having arrived at a discussion on a certain she-spider.

"Is eh a credit to her web-spinnin' species, and I don't know what we ever did without her." Rattrap exclaim with a warmer attitude towards the somewhat upset Silverbolt who eyes him dourly and the rodent wiggle his fingers in the air after stating his comment.

With that done, Rattrap rotated his chair back to the monitor as Rhinox and those nearby watched this happen. Apparently what Rattrap wanted to say, he couldn't before Silverbolt who seem to be displaying a little…annoyance at this time. So it was better to not disturb a wolf that might just bite back when one least expects it.

LOCATION: ROCKY TERRAIN

The scene changes to show Blackarachnia walking behind with the Una to approach Cheetor who was with Chak. The rest of the group were together to help bring those back home. They reach the top of a rocky hillside area before the primate ape boy stood by the metal cat bot.

"Uhhh…Uh-Uh-Uh…." Chak made excited sounds and pointed ahead: which was towards pass the hill and towards a scribed stick-figure on a stone ahead.

"That way, hunh?" Cheetor turns to address what the young creature was telling them to go.

"Hmm-Hmm, Hmm…" Chak nods his head with grunt sounds, agreeing that was what he wanted to say.

"Woohh…Ahhh-Ahhh…" Una was excited to point and held Blackarachnia's left pincer to smile winningly up to her on where to go.

"Guugh?" But Blackarachnia scowls to pull her pincer hand free from the girl. "Don't bug me, kid. Your forehead slopes." Blackarachnia mutter off to the primate girl to not get on her bad side.

"Hmmmm?" Una was puzzled by this, but happily smile to follow Blackarachnia curiously.

"Looks like we're making some good time." Terra-Lock compliments on their process to continue moving on.

"Yeah, this won't take too long at all." Jackrabbit suddenly went quiet when a loud rumbling sound was heard nearby. "Wow Jeremie, we left and your stomach is growling up a storm?" The young rabbit girl was utterly speechless at the loud hunger from the boy nearby.

"That wasn't me?" Jeremie protest that the noise did not come from him. "I think Chak and Una are hungry?" The genius boy stated from looking at the Neanderthal children that rub their stomachs; a sign that they are hungry.

"We don't have time for a lunch break!" Blackarachnia protest that they are on the clock to get this done.

"I think we have time, besides…gotta be watchful of those raptors. I'll search from the air." Cheetor exclaim to say what he can do to help find some nearby food. "Course I might need a passenger. And what we find, I'll share a tasty treat." The guy was offering the Neanderthal boy a ride while looking for something to quiet hungry bellies.

"Huh? Ahh…" Chak felt puzzled, but seem happy about the tasty and treat part he somewhat understood.

"Well, I did spot something that can be food for them, so follow me." Aquarius issue to quickly pull Cheetor away while having some suspicious express when looking back at a certain she-spider.

Now Chak rode on Cheetor's back as some of the cadets went to find organic food while Una stayed with Blackarachnia and Jeremie. The she-spider sign, knowing that today was just not her day at all.

ELSEWHERE AT THIS TIME

The scene changes at this moment, revealing the scene of a beeping and vibe wave device image. It displays a screen showing the Maximal Cadets, Blackarachnia, Jeremie and the Neanderthal kids on route. Turns out the scene open around the Predacon Base, and someone was watching those on the sphere display monitor.

"Muhahahahh…" Then clapping his hands together, Megatron let off a low malevolent chuckle. "Yes. Very good. The prey is in the field–so let the hunt begin." Megatron proclaim from seeing this will be a perfect time: to hunt for prey. "Muhahahahahhh…." Then Megatron goes into another low and malevolent laughter moment on finding this amusing to himself.

SOMEWHAT AT A LATER TIME

MAXIMAL CADET GROUP

The scene opens to clear blue skies, before something was happening.

"Wah-Hahaha…Hohooo-Hahah…" There was laughter in the air, as we spot Cheetor in Flight Mode flying in the sky with a happy Chak. They flew over a rocky terrain down below with a few trees in place.

"Ready? Hang on!" Cheetor looks to his passenger as he clings to the Maximal's neck/shoulders before the cat bot would try something else.

"Wha-Haaah!?" Then Chak shrieks in glee as Cheetor pulls out of the dive.

We see Cheetor do a barrel-roll as he swoops skyward again. During which Blackarachnia was on the steep rocky ravine, watching some folks enjoying themselves to have fun.

"Guys. Ohh they're only young once, but they can act juvenile forever." Blackarachnia remarked with somewhat disgust on how guys act like that no matter how old they get.

Blackarachnia was fiddling with her hand-held device in the left pincer to work it out. At the same motion, Una perches on a rock, lunching on half a coconut.

"Hmm. Can't get a reading..." Blackarachnia ponders puzzled about her device not functioning.

"Hmmm-hmmm?" While the she-spider had her dealings, Una watched Blackarachnia with fascination; before an idea dawn to her. "Ahhh-Ahh, Ahah-Hah?" She then places the coconut-half on her head to smile to pretend it's the same as Blackarachnia's head-frame. "Ahhh-Ugh!?" She held her hand out as if pretending she held the same thing the she-spider had.

"Ugghhh!/Bang!" Then Blackarachnia hits her hand-held device and then give in a shake to make it work right.

"Uhhh-Ahh!/Pound!" Then Una made a sound, gently pound her left open palm in the same manner. "Hmmm-Hmmm?" She was shaking her left palm as if pretending she held something. While Blackarachnia was working, she turns to notice Una of what she's doing at the time. "Ahhhhh?" The girl looked to the she-spider to smile in a cute way on trying to do everything right.

"Doh!" Blackarachnia shook her head to grunt, apparently the sight of this just bothered the she-spider more.

"Gaha!?" Then Una laughs happily when Cheetor swoops down on the ground after the fun he experienced.

"Aw, totally cute." Cheetor exclaim in a sweet voice when noticing what's happening. "She wants to be you." Cheetor express a bit of delight on someone admiring Blackarachnia.

"Hey, we're back!" Then at this moment, Jeremie's group brought over some tied fruits they found. "We secured a little more food, just in case this takes longer." Jeremie explains that now they got some food in case Una, Chak, or even himself feels a little hungry and won't stop too much.

"Um, what's this?" Terra-Lock raise an eyebrow when seeing Una behaving…strangely.

"Don't…ask…" Blackarachnia remarked to push the subject aside then go into detail.

"Is she…" Aqurius was about to say but was cut off…

"I said…don't ask!" Blackarachnia exclaim with her temper starting to rise up a bit.

"Really, cause it looks like the coconut hat and your head are the same. I can pretty much see it." Jackrabbit

Well this pretty much hit it home, apparently everyone can see Una put a coconut on her head to imitate Blackarachnia, even tried mimicking her posture and action. Nobody was expecting a primitive human girl to look up and wanna be someone like Blackarachnia. Course the Ex-Pred she-bot wasn't amused, rather a bit furious at those who even brought up such a revolting image of kids wanting to be her.

"Let's get this straight, okay?" Blackarachnia leans down to glower at Una, eye-to-eye contact. "I'm a black widow spider!...I don't make friends, I can't stand kids, and I truly despise…CUTE." Blackarachnia spared no time to lecture the child about who she is, and she is anything but a nice person.

"Hmm?" Una tried to process what the she-spider was trying to tell her. "Hmm-Ahh!?" But instead she smiled hopefully while missing the idea of the topic.

"Ugh…Pointless." Blackarachnia groans softly then waved her arms up in the air. "How do you squelch someone who communicates in cave-paintings?" Blackarachnia got up to walkaway in realizing that it's impossible to communicate with a primal evolved human Neanderthal in the early human stage.

"Well you can always take up art and see if it'll help." Jackrabbit exclaim on thinking how one can learn how to take up in learning a primitive language style.

"REooorrrr!" Then Cheetor made a cat growl sound as he transforms from Beast Mode to Robot Mode.

"Hey, she just thinks you're kinda cool." Cheetor slowly approach to tell Blackarachnia of what Una sees in the she-spider. "And you know what...?" Cheetor felt like he was about to say something on the spot with a slightly goofy cheery tone when…

"Don't…Even…Start." Blackarachnia cuts the cat bot cadet off, no wanting to deal with any other issue then what she's got going on now.

"What? I was just…" Cheetor was about to say until he got cut off but by Aquarius.

"Cheetor, best not push it after all…" Aquarius issue while giving a firm look at Cheetor. "She may just shot you with another Cyber-Venom if you get on her bad side?" Knowing Blackarachnia, it wouldn't be put to rest to believe she shot without any questions as to why.

"Woah now, come on guys. Let's not start fighting, alright." Jeremie tried to cut in between an unsteady argument between Maximals and Ex-Predacons.

While everyone was dealing with what events had happen, something was above them on a rocky terrain. And a Jurassic claw foot stomps as if a hunter watches it's prey. "Beep-Beep-Beep…Beepbeeeeeppp!" Without warning, the hand-held device's scanner erupts in red flashes with something zooming into the area. This caused the bots to become actively alert of a hostile threat. The Neanderthal children looked around frantically, unknowing what was near. That's when Blackarachnia looked at the device that said something was on top of them, and then looked upwards…

"Look out!" Blackarachnia issue a warning of an attack from above.

Then everyone scatter when something from above a pillar dropped in. "GROOUUARRrrrhhhh!" It turned out to be another of the Cyber-Raptor which roared at the escape prey.

Then after everyone landed away from the attacker, Blackarachnia leaps behind a boulder hill cover while Cheetor grabbed the Neanderthal kids to leap them up to a dead tree by a somersault performance. The rest of the group split around to get to cover. "PUssvhm…/BAM!" Without warning, the Cyber-Raptor fired red laser beams which blew up the branch.

"Ahhhh!?" The Neanderthal children yelped and panic as Cheetor cover to protect them.

"Pow!/DING!" Blackarachnia aim her Anchor Crossbow to fire and made an implode impact.

"Grreeeehh! Grrrrrr…" Which seem to do little damage to the Cyber-Raptor which growled angrily. "Pussvh!/BOOM!" Then it fired the red eye laser beam that blew up a portion of Blackarachnia's cover but the she-spider duck to hid behind cover.

"It's one of those Cyber-Raptors!" Terra-Lock exclaim as he was transforming along with Jackrabbit when spotting the enemy.

"Then let's give him something to think about!" Jackrabbit issue from getting his weapon function ready.

"I'll help! ELEMENTAL: FIRE!" Jeremie issue as he wields his staff to channel a blazing fireball.

"Pow-Pow!/Boom!" Jeremie, Terra-Lock, Jackrabbit, and Aquarius fired their attacks which seem to repel the enemy a bit. "GROOOARRRGH!" But the Cyber-Raptor had a very strong hid, able to endure those attacks. "PUSHvmmm…/BAM!" Then fired it's red laser optic beams at the group.

"Woah!?" Jeremie yelps as he backed over a cliff, and fell off…

"I got'cha Jeremie!" Jackrabbit grabbed Jeremie's staff as the boy held on for worry.

"Thanks, any closer and I fall off the cliff?" Jeremie thanked the youngest Maximal cadet for the save.

"Well just hold on, we'll pull you up! Terra-Lock, provide us cover would you!" Aquarius leans in to help Jackrabbit pull Jeremie up while asking Terra-Lock to assist with cover fire.

"I'll try…" Terra-Lock nods in wanting to make sure he provides cover.

"Hey Dino! Ya like this little maneuver?" Cheetor turns around to address the attacking raptor bot.

Then Cheetor did a flip before merging his Wrist Blasters together. "POW!" Then fired a green energy shot directed at the target.

"BAM!/PUssvhm…" The attack knock the Cyber-Raptor down, but it return fire at the same time.

"KABOOM!/Woah! Ahhhh….?" Cheetor yelps as he was blasted in the gut and knock over the ravine. "Guuagh!?" The cadet hit the ground hard from the yelp cry heard afterwards.

"Cheetor!?" Aquarius cried out as she and the others saw what happen to the cat bot.

"BOOM!/AAqaahhh!?" During the distract, Terra-Lock was blasted by the red laser beams.

As Terra-Lock toppled backwards from being unbalanced, he collides against Jackrabbit and Aquarius holding Jeremie over a cliff.

"GAaauuughhh!?/AAahhhhhh!?/WAaaaahhh!?" Jackrabbit, Aqurius and Jeremie screamed as they along with Terra-Lock fell down the cliff. "Oooofff!?" Then a loud impact was heard, likely they hit the ground.

The only one left around that could fight the Cyber-Raptor, was just Blackarachnia. The she-spider shook her head from seeing a pitiful sight that befell Cheetor. And at the same time, how the others followed the same act which doesn't bold well with being alone now.

"Two choices. One, bail outta here, like any self-respecting spider..." Blackarachnia exclaims to pivot and assess her chances of choices. "Or two…" She stated from looking upwards at this moment.

"Ahhhh…Ahhh, Ahhhhahhh!?" The nervous voices of the Neanderthal children cling perilously to the tree by Chak and Una behind him: they looked down with worry while the girl look to…Blackarachnia.

"Play Little Miss Hero, like some sort of pathetic warmblood." Blackarachnia exclaim from optioning her choices of save herself or save the innocent.

"GRRAUUOOooorrrrgh!?" The Cyber-Raptor roars as it got back onto it's feet.

"Ahhhh-Ahhh…" While Chak held to the tree, Una reach her hand out…as if asking for Blackarachnia to please help them.

"Doh! Sometimes, I disgust myself." Blackarachnia snarled to shake her head, realizing what she's gonna do that goes against her very self.

"Bangbangbangbangbangbangbang…." Then without warning, Blackarachnia comes out of hiding, then fires her Spider-Leg Machine Guns directly at the target. "Tap-Tap-Tap-Tap…./GRAAAAAauurrrgh!?" The Cyber-Raptor yelped cry from the unexpected rapid impact succession which pushed it back. "Bangbangbangbangbang…." The she-spider's relentless assault was still firing rapid rounds without stopping. "Tap-Tap-Tap…./GRRAUUUArrrrrgh!?" The Cyber-Raptor might have endure enough, but the shots still dealt some force impacts.

"Nuuagh!?" Then Blackarachnia transforms to Beast Mode, then leaps up to the air, to the branch tree, grabs the Neanderthal kids and goes down by an Energon Web she left behind.

"GRAAaughhh!/Pussvh!" The Cyber-Raptor roared before firing another red laser beam from the eyes.

"Waaaaaaaahhhhhh!?" The Neanderthal children scream as Blackarachnia drops them over the edge of the ravine, rappelling down via her web-strand so fast they were approaching where Cheetor and the others crashed. "Aaaaugh!?" Then the she-spider stopped inches from the ground, release the primate kids and flipped off her web to transform to Robot Mode.

"Grrrrrr…GROooarrr!" Blackarachnia looked up to see the Cyber-Raptor growl down at those that escaped him and roared in annoyance. "Ssssss…" With a silent snarl, the Cyber-Raptor turns to leave the scene to find another way down.

With the threat gone, that gave those time to reconsider their thoughts about what happened on this mission. Right now Cheetor was slowly getting his bearings together, Terra-Lock had fallen on top of Jeremie with Jackrabbit and Aquarius at the bottom. The young cadet got off of the fembots and Jeremie sat down feeling like he was almost a squash sandwich.

"Here's the plan." Blackarachnia turns to Cheetor to give him the details on what their next move will be. "You fly the brats back to the base, then come and get me." Blackarachnia instructs Cheetor to get the Neanderthal kids out of harms way and she'll lay low until this cadet picks her up.

"Not gonna work. I can't fly" Cheetor stood up to say which a spark happen around his right arm joint. "My jets got damaged in the fall." He held his right arm to sadly admit when he hit the ground from that cliff height, his flight function got damaged.

"Oh, great." Blackarachnia lightly remarks as she turns away from Cheetor. "I get stuck with the one cat in the world who lands on his HEAD." Blackarachnia groans to remark that cats always land on their feet, apparently that isn't the same for Cheetor's case.

"Hmm, come to think about it? Didn't you experience that when we attack the Pred Base?" Aquarius thinks back to the time they team up with Ravage, when they drop off a ship that Cheetor didn't have much a graceful landing.

"I rather not recall that." Cheetor shook his head, wishing to not recall such an unpleasant memory.

"Jeremie, think maybe you can summon that cloud of yours and fly back?" Terra-Lock asked the boy genius to help with air support or at least fly Chak and Una away.

Jeremie tried to stand up and prepare his summoning when he cringed without warning. The boy held his stomach, as if something had happened that he was hurting.

"Grrrr…no can do either?" Jeremie groans as he was in pain as he leans on his staff to push up. "I think I broke my rib when being squashed between two bots? Sorry, it's a bit hard to channel any magical energy while in this state." The boy was in a pickle, he needs to focus and call out his spells but in his current state, he needs to recover and won't be much help with such a handicap.

"Oops, that was suppose to cushion you from hurting, not the other way around?" Jackrabbit yelps upon realizing what they tried to do to help Jeremie, didn't work for a flesh person with bots. "Okay, so we got zero fliers, maybe we better call for backup after all?" The girl thought about it, and in times like this, maybe help is needed.

"Ugh, great…this won't help with our image of being capable cadets one bit!" Aquarius slapped her forehead from knowing they couldn't even handle a simple return kids to their tribe without encountering such a problem.

"I'll do it. If anyone better take the heat, it's me." Cheetor exclaim as he prepares to contact their base. "Cheetor to Optimus!" Then from a beep noise, Cheetor held his right wrist to speak to the com-link. "We've got a problem, here." Cheetor awaits for a reply, only to get a static interference: the cadet exchanges a glance to Blackarachnia to take over.

"Blackarachnia to anyone. Come in." Blackarachnia held up her right pincer to her mouth to speak into the com-link: only to get a static interference as well. "Someone's jamming our signals." Blackarachnia exclaim from realizing what was happening that they were cut off from contacting the Maximals.

DURING THIS TIME

AT THE PRED BASE

The scene opens to show a sphere showing the situation of Cheetor and Blackarachnia's group of their situation that has occurred of not contacting their allies.

"And three guesses who that would be." Blackarachnia exclaim to Cheetor as they, and the Neanderthal children regroup.

"My humble self…" Megatron wave his hand to the sphere before rotating his command chair to boast on interfering with Maximal communication. "Indeed." With a squeeze of the hand, he looks to see Inferno saluting as he rode a hover platform to his leader.

"The traitoress can now be DESTROYED, Royalty." Inferno proudly cheers that they can be rid of Blackarachnia on the spot. "Ah ha. And the cat and his friends as well." Inferno laughs off and pounds his right hand into the left palm, knowing they can get both Blackarachnia and those with her in the same boat.

"Yess." Megatron held his chin to agree on getting rid of a few enemies then just one. "Ah…But not too quickly. For I have a greater plan in mind." Megatron exclaim from having hatch a scheme that will require to halt the destruction since those among the enemies has what he wants.

"Really now? What would that be?" Terragator was nearby on a hover platform when just listening from nearby.

"For starters, Blackarachnia holds the codes to open the Ark. Her demise will come…but only afterwards." Megatron explain a small portion of not wanting to destroy Blackarachnia for she holds an edge that prevents them from risking the lose of the Golden Disc data the she-spider carries. "Waspinator. Hyena Quinn. Blitz Wing. Tarantulas. To your mission!" Megatron called forth as those announced arrived on hover platforms when he barked an order.

"So we're in charge of facing down one traitor and a couple of Maximal cadets. How trivial…" Cold Blitz Wing remarked in a cold manner on thinking what this action leads to. "Augh, why do WE get stuck with taking out such puny things!" Rage Blitz Wing roared off to complain about this mission that's beneath them. "Hahahah, and one of them is a little boy with glasses. Do we hit someone wearing them, I certainly would be intrigue?" Crazy Blitz Wing spoke from sounding delightful at the random idea and action.

"Hey Meggy, you sure we be enough, what about the others?" Hyena Quinn raise an eyebrow to think they need a lot more troops before engaging.

"Hmmm, they are on their own task. One that shall increase our efforts in the war. And a side part of my experiment I'm currently conducting." Megatron instructs while somewhat explaining there was a hidden agenda he's currently performing and spread his troops to get their task done. "For now, deal with this mission. And if the Maximals get backup, stall for time while I plan to lead another group to reclaim the Ark." The guy revealed his own plans that need to be underway.

"Deh…With pleasure, Megatron." Tarantulas replied in accepting to cooperate here. "And besides all that, it'll give me a chance to field-test an amusing little device I've developed." Then the wicked scientist pulled out a strange silver ultra-high-tech uzi blaster which affixes a purple energy canister to the underside of the weapon. He loaded it up as it sparks, as if ready to be admission.

"And a few companions, to amuse you further." Megatron waved down at something to offer aid to those heading out.

"GRAAuurrrgh!" That's when by one of the corridors near the lava, on a platform emerge SIX Cyber-Raptors. "Grrrr…Grrrr…/Chop-Chop!" These three seem very vicious, as if ready to attack without a moments waste.

"CRY HAVOC!" Megatron announced forth this while looking upwards. "AND LET SLIP THE DOGS OF WAR!" Megatron proclaim this as a means as his forces would soon crush his enemies and give him victory in the war.

MEANWHILE

BACK AT THE MAXIMAL FORT

The scene changes within the mountain of the Maximal Fort. Around the Command Center's Communication Desk, Optimus was working on the device. Silverbolt paces nearby with Rattrap and Rhinox. Coming into the area was also Air Hammer, Noctorro, Jack-Tool, Dive-Bomb, Longrack, Ladybug, Salvage, Trans-Mutate and lastly were the other members of Lyoko Warriors and New Warriors.

"Cheetor. Blackarachnia. Do you read me?" Optimus spoke from trying to get in contact, but there was no response on the system. "Aquarius, Jackrabbit, Terra-Lock, Jeremie…can anyone read me?" He tried more of those he could think of but still no response.

"Is it Energon interference?" Ladybug asked from a concerning voice.

"No, the area they were heading had no sign of any Energon deposits?" Longrack shook his head, as that was not what was the problem.

"Something has gone wrong." Silverbolt stops pivoting and fretting to face Optimus about the silence of the situation. "Blackarachnia, she…She's in danger. I…I can feel it." Silverbolt narrow his eyes and clutch the left hand, knowing Blackarachnia's life is in peril.

"Maybe a bunch of 'em just decided to take a little break….Hee hee hee." Rattrap was working on some electrical equipment with Rhinox to shrug off the shoulders to joke and laugh it off; course Silverbolt narrow his eyes from not being amused.

"Grrr…If that innuendo were not beneath my contempt, rodent, you would be required to give satisfaction." Silverbolt make a quiet wrathful matter on restraining himself from doing something against his noble code.

"I forget." Rattrap looked to Rhinox aside to shrug off the shoulders in confusion. "Did he talk like this before…" The rodent stated about how Silverbolt's character seemed strange to them. "Or did fallin' in love do somethin' to his circuits?" Rattrap turns back that because Silverbolt has feelings for Blackarachnia, he's truly been acting like a blind devoted lover wanting to know what's been going on with the she-spider missing.

"Rattrap, he's worried. We all should be." Sissi stated on how they worry if one of their own was in trouble.

"I'm worried too, Jeremie might be endanger and needs our help." Aelita stated from having concerns that if Jeremie is endanger, she must help him.

"Him and everyone else." William firmly nods that the whole group that went with Chak and Una need help.

"Ehhh, maybe you all are overreacting and it's nothing." Rattrap brushed off that maybe everyone was worrying over nothing.

"I don't like this either." Optimus shook his head, feeling uneasy about this situation on not hearing back from those that failed to stay in contact. "I'm going to fly out and have a look around." Optimus decided what to do, as he prepares to leave. "Noctorra, Air Hammer, with me." He turns to request aid from the fliers to take with him.

"I'm coming with you." Silverbolt instantly barked out, wanting to partake in the search mission.

"I can handle it, Silverbolt." Optimus firmly looked back that he can perform a search task on his own. "Besides, you're needed here." Optimus issue that he needs all hands to help keep the fort from falling into enemy hands.

"If my lady is in danger, then my place is at her side!" Silverbolt grips his left hand, humbly asking to help go out and make sure Blackarachnia is not endanger: he won't back down from this determination.

"Hugh…As you wish." Optimus signs before looking back to grant Silverbolt this personal request.

"Optimus, let us come along too." Ulrich request to partake in this mission.

"Jeremie is our friend, we can't leave him hanging." Odd stated on never leaving a bud behind when they need help.

"Please Optimus." Aelita politely asked while truly wishing that they come to help those in need.

"Hugh, very well." Optimus signs from knowing that Aelita was worried for Jeremie, so were the others concern for their friend. "You all stay here. And double-check the defenses." Optimus turns to instruct Rhinox, Rattrap, Longrack, Dive-Bomb, Salvage, Ladybug, and Trans-Mutate on what he needs them to do while they are away. "New Warriors…" He turns to face Jin, Axel and Tytree in what he wanted to say…

"No need to say anything big guy, stay put in case of trouble." Jin exclaim from knowing they were needed at the fort for any danger that might approach.

"Hey now, that's just begging that trouble show up?" Tytree lectures Jin from almost trying to jinx them.

"Well Sari and Sora are with their father with a different project, so it'll be just us for now. But don't sweat Optimus, we got it covered." Axel gave a confident smile, knowing they won't let Optimus down.

"Thank you. Now, let's head out!" Optimus replied off to say before addressing those accompanying him.

Soon Optimus jumps up before transforming his giant body into it's Flight Mode and ignited the feet jet thrusters. Silverbolt flaps his wings as he soon follows behind the Maximal Leader. Then Noctorro and Air Hammer flew off in their Robot Modes as well. Lastly the Lyoko Warriors summoned their Over-Vehicles to take flight. After that, Rhinox turns around to work on the monitor screen with the other brainiac Maximals helping him while only Rattrap observe the whole thing go down.

"Ah typical. Who gets stuck with all the work? The rat gets stuck with all the work." Rattrap mutters and ridicules on how things go as leaving everything else to those behind to work it out. "While everyone else goes on a slaggin' picnic." The metal rodent toss down a tool and cross his arms, knowing they get stuck with jobs nobody wants and everyone else gets to enjoy themselves.

"Picnic?" Trans-Mutate was puzzle by that statement of the others going for such a thing.

"Don't mind him, he's just getting upset on how things seem unfair." Ladybug brush aside Rattrap's little attitude from what's going on that everyone gets some excitement and he's stuck working.

"Hopefully things stay quiet, last thing we need is any unwelcome surprises." Salvage exclaim from not wanting to have anything else go wrong today.

Outside the mountain, the Blast Doors opened which allowed Optimus and Silverbolt to emerge. Once they soar skywards, the Blast Doors slowly closed in afterwards. But during this matter, something was seen atop a ridge overlooking the Maximal Fort base. It was Megatron leading his group of Predacons in Beast Mode: Inferno, Spittor, Sling, Raid Jango, Bisk, Buzzclaw, Arbortron, Grotte, Snow-Ka, and Quickstrike while the bigger bots were Rampage, Predatron, Hardshell and Volga.

"Ah! Exactly as I anticipated." Megatron gloats upon seeing what was happening here. "The base is undermanned and unprotected…ours for the asking." Megatron exclaim from seeing how they can so easily just go up and simply ask to get the base and everything it holds inside.

"Aww now, we ain't gonna ASK, are we?" Quickstrike moans to complain in hearing they are being nice all of a sudden. "How's about we just BLAST our way in there an'slag everybody and TAKE it?" Quickstrike protest out loud in loud eagerness that they just thrash anyone in the way to take what they want without asking.

"Hmmmmmm..." Megatron playfully hums a bit to process that suggest and… "Okay." Megatron humored the Scorpion Fuzor to shrug off the shoulders; knowing it's better to take what they want.

"Guhahahahah…/Nahahahaha…/Ha-Hah-Hahahah…/GEhahaha…." Soon Megatron laughs, joined by Inferno for getting the humor, followed by Rampage and Quickstrike. Wasn't long before a few others that wanted to partake I nthe evil laughter join in but some remain silent. But all in all some troops found the humor that Megatron lay out to be funny since as Predacons, they don't ask for things, they take what they want whenever they want it.

"PREDACONS - TERRORIZE!" Megatron yelled out a command to have all troops transform.

Then with Megatron's mighty metallic T-Rex roar, he and all of his troops transform from Beast Mode to Robot Mode. Save for Rampage who transform into his Vehicle Mode with the Triple Launcher in front below the neck. Now the enemy begins to match forth towards the base fort…preparing to capture it…

BACK WITH CHEETOR'S GROUP

The scene changes to an open plain field of dry dirt, where a forest, cliffs and mountains lie ahead. And soon approaching the rocky boulder area was the group leading the Neanderthal children.

"Ahh…ahh!" Then Chak gestures to the cliffs with an excited voice.

"That's where you live, is it?" Cheetor chatted with the Neanderthal Boy from understanding what he was saying somewhat.

"Ahhh…" Chak replied in a happy grunt to signal yes to the answer.

"Well, then we'll have you home before you know it." Cheetor smiled from knowing they can at least complete their mission and then return to base for some repairs afterwards.

"Good, anymore of this nature walk and I might think I'm going….dehhh…soft." Blackarachnia slightly groans a bit from imagining what she's becoming now.

"Yeah, wouldn't that be a shame?" Aquarius rolled her eyes from knowing someone doesn't wanna spend another minute doing this goody stuff.

Now it seem like everything was finally working out well for the group, a straight way cut across the plains and the protohuman children will be back home. But then Una seem to suddenly feel off that something was wrong, she was deeply exhaling and she heard a noise. She slowly turns the head to look back behind them…

"Ahhhh!?" The Neanderthal Girl cried out in fear with wide eyes.

"What's the matter Una?" Jackrabbit asked from sensing something wrong.

"Did she see something scary?" Terra-Lock ponders if maybe there was a wild animal nearby.

"Guys, I have a look at this!?" Jeremie exclaim from sounding a bit worried at what he too saw.

The reason became clear when something was rushing through a canyon cliff that was behind the group. There were 6 Cyber-Raptors roaring as they ran down the path, and they weren't along. We spotted Tarantulas in his Vehicle Mode, revving through and Waspinator in Beast Mode following behind. And following up the rear Hyena Quinn and Blitzwing either running or flying…

"Gehahahah-Hahahahaahhh…." Tarantulas let off a wicked laughter, as he leads the charge against the helpless prey.

Without warning, the Cyber-Raptors fired their red laser beams from the eyes, and Tarantulas fired off yellow sphere shots from his spider legs. Hyena Quinn and Blitzwing transform afterwards, and took their own positions to open fire. Soon the enemy split into two sides to get into position by some surrounding rocks to cover both the right and left area to corner the targets. "BOOM-BOOM!" There were explosive shots that destroyed some rock cover that the others had to hid behind.

"Ahhhh!?" The Neanderthal children screamed out, afraid of such fearsome beings.

"Stay down!" Blackarachnia issue as she instructed the primate children to kneel down behind rock cover to avoid another explosive attack blast.

"Ahhhh!?" The Neanderthal children coward, afraid of what was happening.

"BangBangBangBangBang…." Blackarachnia began firing her Leg Machine Gun shots at the targets.

"Pushvm…" Cheetor used his Cheeta-Head Arm Blaster to fire a green sphere shot to deal damage.

"Elemental…ah!?" Jeremie tried to cast something, but cringed from the pain he has yet to recover from.

"Jeremie, stay put…your in no shape to fight!" Aquarius lectured the boy while Jackrabbit and Terra-Lock open fire from behind their cover.

But while everyone was so focus on the front, no one saw Waspinator from behind in Robot Mode. "Pow…" Then her fired a Sting Missile directly at…Cheetor's backside.

"Hugh!?" Cheetor gasped to turn around, but couldn't act in time. "BAM!/Ughh…Guuagh!?" Cheetor was knock back by the explosive shot that hurled the cadet forward into the open.

"Pow!" Then Blackarachnia glares at the wasp-bot, then fires an Anchor from her blaster.

"BAM!/DOORRrruuuhhh!?" Waspinator gasped wide eye, then got blasted away in the air.

"Ahhh…?" Chak and Una smiled with hope that Blackarachnia helped saved them from danger. "BAM!/Ahhhhhh!?" But the roaring Cyber-Raptors fired another attack which exploded by the rock cover, scaring the Neanderthal children to duck down in fear.

"Grrrr…." When Blackarachnia looked back, saw some Cyber-Raptors about to approach and attack a defenseless Cheetor. "BOOM!/GRAARRrrugh!?" Suddenly, a powerful explosive shot knocked one of the Cyber-Raptors away from Cheetor. "GRAUUarrrrh!?" Blackarachnia and the rest looked up at who helped them while the other Cyber-Raptor roared at the threat.

The answer came when it was revealed to be Optimus, Noctorro, Air Hammer, Silverbolt and Lyoko Warriors flying onto the scene to help save those in need.

"Hang on, my soul's delight!" Silverbolt flew up to proclaim this noble declaration to help save Blackarachnia from harm. "POWhhh…" Then he aims to fire his Feather Missiles off towards the other Cyber-Raptor approaching Cheetor.

"GRRRaarrr…/BAM!" Just before the Cyber-Raptor could attack, got blow away by the missiles.

"Finally! I been waiting to blast me another of these things!" Noctorro proclaim as he charged forth t attack another Cyber-Raptor with his shots.

"Provide cover, we have injured members here!" Air Hammer issue from noticing that Jeremie and Cheetor were down.

Then during mid-flight to halt himself, Optimus quickly shifts to transform himself from Flight Mode to Robot Mode. The big bot dropped down to make a heavy impact when touching down near the fallen Cheetor.

"Cheetor." Optimus called out to check if the cadet was alright.

"Ahhh…?" Cheetor slowly regain himself, before realizing who was here. "Big Bot…are you a sight for sore eyes!" Cheetor happily stated, glad to see their leader came in the nick of time.

"What happened?" Optimus asked to learn what transpire here.

"Long story, but can you help us." Cheetor exclaim to briefly mention the long run in a short topic.

Optimus reaches down to help Cheetor up, unaware that something was shot directly at the defenseless big Maximal. "STABS!/ARRrrughh!? Arrrrk!?" Optimus flinches as something impacted and caused unknown pain for him to gasp.

"What is it?" Cheetor asked startle that something happen to Optimus.

The evidence was revealed to be some spider-like missile that was shot off from Tarantulas, and clamps onto the backside of Optimus. The purple energy was slowly being injected into the large Maximal Leader that course through his struggling body.

"Uhh! Some…sort of transmetal…" Optimus was trying to fight against the weird purple energy flow before… "Yeeeaaaahhh." Then without warning, Optimus' head not only lit up, it grew and he…broke out…SINGING!?

"Oooohhhh…/Ahhhhh….?" The Neanderthal children peaked out behind rock cover, somewhat intrigue by a singing metal man.

"GRruagh!?" Once the effect dropped, Optimus' head shrank to normal and fell onto his knees. "Uh cyber-venom uhhh..." Optimus finished his statement of what he's been in contact with…before he dropped to the ground face first.

"Hehaah….Hehehe-Hahaha-Gahahahhh….." Every saw that the one who shot Optimus with the weird cyber-venom was Tarantulas on a rocky outcrop above the group, as he laughed in a twisted and fiendish cackle.

"No fair! You shot him in the rear!" Terra-Lock protest that was a cheap shot the spider bot did.

"Hey, what can you do when it was such an unpleasant End!?" Hyena Quinn shrug off her shoulder while making a joke on the subject.

"Besides, your merely delaying the downfall." Cold Blitzwing remarked on how nothing the fools do, can make a difference when facing overwhelming and unknown odds.

"Guys, we may have company?" Jackrabbit exclaim from seeing the Cyber-Raptors are starting to mobilize now.

MEANWHILE

AT THE MAXIMAL FORT

The scene opens around the Maximal Fort, where Rampage drove his tank trends across the ground to approach the front entrance. Wasn't long until Quickstrike walked on the left, followed by Inferno landing on the right side. Each different Predacon took a spot to be either left or right side. And Megatron bringing up the rear to lead his troops. "Powh…/BAM!" Then Megatron charges his Tail Grappler Blaster to fire a purple shot, which blew up the nearby surveillance camera.

"Wohahaha-Wahahahah…" Inferno laughs as he took aim with his Missile Launcher. "POW!/BAM!/WAhahahah!" He fired a missile, which blew up the left Autogun before it could aim to fire against the laughing foe.

"Heheheh-Hoooo!/Pusvh…" Then Quickstrike laughs it off, fires a Cobra Ray Beam next. "BAM!" That destroyed the second Autogun on the right as it spun around smoking.

Then Rampage charges and slams himself against the Blaster Doors. That caused everything inside the volcano mountain to shake the entire base inside. Rhinox yelped from feeling something shook the entire base just now from a mighty impact. Everyone else yelped or fell down from the sudden shake that happen outside the fort.

"DooooH!?" Rattrap fell hard onto the floor as he skid across the metal surface. "Oh man! Looks like we got company!" Rattrap exclaim from realizing all that shaking means someone is attacking the base when they are most vulnerable.

"What was your first clue?" Dive-Bomb remarked that they already knew this from the start.

"Enemy is about to breach the first layer." Ladybug checked the monitor to determine someone was outside attacking them.

"Should we engage?" Jack-Tool ponders if they should hurry to slow the Predacons down.

"Let's wait on that, after last time, Armordillo placed in some new steps for over cocky Predacons." Longrack issue that they hold off, maybe they can take down a few from what they have setup as an insurance measurement.

"POWhhh!" Outside, Megatron and his troops open fire at the Blast Doors as Rampage backed away in time. "BAM!" That blast blew open a large hole in the Blast Doors structure. Megatron quickly rushed over and got behind cover of the door, then peaked inside to see if anything was there. Then Inferno leaped gallantly before hiding behind the right door side. The rest of the Preds began to take up positions around the open door while cautiously not entering yet. Afterwards, Quickstrike joined up to be with Megatron who saw him…

"Quickstrike! You may lead!" Megatron humbly allowed Quickstrike the honor to lead the charge into the Maximal fort. "Take Sling, Snow-Kai, Grotte and Arbortron." He then gave an order for a team to go along to help Quickstrike.

"Yeah! That's what I like t' hear!" Quickstrike cheered as he happily began to rush himself right into the opening of the Blast Doors. "Come on you lot! Follow me to WHOOPIN' Some Maxis!" He cheered to lead his own rowdy bunch to victory.

"Wahahha…I can just Yodel to our victory when we take all the goods!" Snow-Kai laughs off from knowing they'll brag about taking all the credit.

"Me want to get first dibs, me not share spoils!" Grotte remarked on wanting to get credits first.

"Yo, it's first come first serve, right?" Arbortron exclaim on knowing how this sort of thing even goes.

Course while Quickstrike charges forward with his own merry band, Inferno looks hurt by this sudden judgement.

"Royalty! Why was I not chosen?" Inferno asked puzzled and confused, he would have gladly gone in first, so why did his leader not pick him.

"Because, Inferno. When expecting booby-traps..." Megatron exclaim in about to explain a certain manner when needing to prepare against Maximal set traps ahead…

Then at this moment, Quickstrike was checking the place out ahead of the group…

"CLANK!/GWAAAAAH!?" When without warning, Quickstrike was punch by a massive robot fist into a pop up retracting spring wall. "DAAAAH!?" The guy fell onto the ground, completely out of it.

"GAAAAhhh!? What was that?" Sling yelps from what happened, as everyone seem to be cautious.

Then without warning, the area went dark before anyone noticed. And unknown laser shots were fired followed by certain screams.

"I'M IN THE DARK!?" Snow-Kai screamed at the top of his lungs that he can't see a thing.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" Grotte shouted from not seeing or happening in the dark.

A bunch of crazy stuff went on as some of Megatron's followers overheard strange sounds. There were sounds of large glass and wooden objects breaking, chain saws noises, and even a few screams?

"GYAAAAAAHHHHH!?" Sling screamed before what sounded like the crushing sound of…a PIANO!?

"There's Acid on My SERVOS!?" Snow-Kai screamed to panic on what he had come across.

"Hey! What be letting stupid bird attack me face!? GET OFF!?" Grotte protest from what was attacking and squawking that made claw slash noises.

Wasn't long before other stuff was falling down, almost making crushing and breaking sounds that made the other Preds outside cringe from untold horrors that went down. By the time it was over, the lights came on to reveal what happened. Sling was pined against a wall from metal spears that made him look like he barely survived a spear-knife throwing event. Snow-Kai moans from a blast in the gut while Sling was flatten by a piano. Grotte yelped from an eagle that yanked him until he fell into a lay pit and cried out from falling and damaging himself. And Arbortron wobbled a bit from having endured enough but looked ready to collapse…

"Ugh, in ever life, a little debris must fall!? Ugh!?" Arbortron after making that statement, the bot fell face first into the ground.

"...always send a boob and other fools in first." Megatron points inside to lecture the other Predacons observing how to deal with booby-traps: send gullible types to set them off.

"Nraauurghh….a truly wicked plan Lord Megatron. But very effective…" Raid Jango compliments their leader for his underhanded scheme.

"Somehow, I'm lucky I was not picked." Buzzclaw stated that if he was apart of that unit, he be out of action too.

"Agreed!" Spittor nods that he did not want to have been wiped out like those five bots.

"Ehhhh…Ugh…Ahhh!?" Quickstrike lits his head up, but he was seeing stars before he passed out from taking too much damage.

The scene changes to show Rhinox typing on a lower computer panel at this moment under the command deck.

"Autoguns online!" Rhinox announce to activate their next security system.

Soon as Rhinox turns to leave, the Axelon's old Autoguns rotated to prepare firing at enemy targets. Soon Rhinox pulls out two Gatling Machine Guns in both hands. The Maximal Scientist took cover position behind some rocks as Rattrap readies his blaster.

"Looks like we're gonna get a little slaggin' in after all. Heh heh." Rattrap lightly laughed off, and here he thought today was gonna be boring.

"I wouldn't count our blessings yet." Ladybug stated as she and the rest got into their own cover positions.

Then Megatron and his forces arrive to station themselves for cover, and began firing and blasting some rock cover where the Maximal side hid.

"Looks like we don't have a choice." Rhinox exclaim firmly that in the end, they got to fight back to survive.

"Then let's give them one for!" Jin proclaim from not wanting to go down without a fight.

That's when the Maximals began to fire back. Rhinox fired his Gatling Machine Guns, and Rattrap fired his blaster. Everyone else either took out their weapons to open fire or those that had Meta-Human powers fough back. Megatron's side continued to fight back while avoiding any shots by the foes and their Autoguns.

BACK WITH OPTIMUS' GROUP

The scene changes back to the rocky terrain where a different battle is going on.

"GRARRRrrhhh!" The Cyber-Raptors roared, as they continued firing their red laser beams at the targets with explosive impacts.

The Maximals had to move some rocks to provide cover for Optimus who has fallen under a Cyber-Virus inflection. After ducking from an attack, Silverbolt fired his Feather Missiles, Cheetor used his Wrist Arm Cannon, and Blackarachnia fires her Rapid Leg Machine Guns.

"GRRraurrrh!?" One Cyber-Raptor roared before hiding behind cover to avoid getting hit.

"Ugh! These things just won't hold still!?" Odd complained as he fired another Laser Arrow to slow the Cyber-Raptors down.

"Try to hit them where they might dodge." Ulrich stated as he fired another Sword Beam, but it missed two Cyber-Raptors..

"Which is?" Sissi remarked on what the actual idea was to beat these things.

"Guess at this rate?" William shrug off the shoulders to admit they just wing it.

"Jeremie, hold on!" Aelita was by Jeremie's side to help the poor boy injured. "I've provided much cover for everyone and Optimus…" She stated on having used her Creativity to make more rock covers.

"Aelita…be careful, the enemy…" Jeremie yelped from the pain to warn the rest that the enemy is not to be underestimated.

"Is HERE!" Then Rage Blitzwing pops up from out of nowhere in the air. "POW!/BOOM!" He fired a shot that destroyed the rock cover section, which exposed a part of Optimus. "Hahahah! Can you make more things for me to blow up? Or should I aim at the BIG APE!" Then Crazy Blitzwing was heard commenting about what was gonna be coming next here.

"AAAAAHhhh…." Then Aelita sang her angelic voice as digital layouts appeared to form new rock formations in a protective state.

"Nice trick kiddo, but you can't attack and defend at the same time!" Hyena Quinn pops in and out to confuse where she is to keep up her guessing game.

The battle was almost looking like a hard thing for the Maximal side to just barely hold on. And while everyone else was focus on defending the paralyzed Maximal Leader, Tarantulas was sneaking around to avoid detection. "Pusvhm…/BOOM!" Then he leaps on top of the rocky outcrop, fired his new weapon that blew up a rocky section.

"Ahhhh…/Ahhhh!?" Chak and Una had hidden by that rock section, and were exposed with terror on their expressions as they made scared cries.

"Well, look at this." Tarantulas raise an eyebrow on his optic visors when having found something intriguing. "A pair of pint-sized knuckle-draggers." After making that sly remark at the protohuman children, he prepares his weapon charging a yellow sphere at the tip of the blaster.

"Ahhhhhh…/Ahhhhh-Ahhhhhh!?" Both Chak and Una were yelping, panicking loud cries as if seeing the end has come for them.

"Pusvhm…" Tarantulas fired his shot, it looked like the end had come for the organic lifeforms… "KABLAM!/GUAAAAwwwwhhh!?" Suddenly, Blackarachnia fell right into the middle of that blast that exploded on her. "Ooooof!?" The Neanderthal children watch in surprise, as Blackarachnia yelped as she skid across to stop by some rocks, slightly damaged and moaning a bit.

"No-o-o!" Silverbolt had turn around from the other battle to look horrified at what befell Blackarachnia. "POOWH!" Then an angry Fuzor aim his Feather Missiles to open fire at the attacker.

"Hehehehhh…" Tarantulas did a backflip, as he managed to avoid the missiles and continue to hid out of sight.

"Woah, that was unexpected!?" Hyena Quinn stopped where she popped out from noticing her old pal Blackarachnia doing something so…unlike her.

"So is this!" Aquarius exclaim from aiming her blaster. "POW!" And she fired a charge shot right at the target.

"BAM!/GAaaahhh!?" Hyena Quinn was knock pretty far from that surprise blast.

Wasn't long before Silverbolt skids close to check on Blackarachnia who lay on the ground, as he gently tilt her head to his direction.

"Oh heart of my heart! I saw!" Silverbolt exclaim from feeling truly inspired by what the she-spider did now. "You were ready to sacrifice yourself..." Silverbolt couldn't believe how noble Blackarachnia was going to save the lives of the Neanderthal children in exchange for her life…It's truly the act of a Maximal if every he saw one.

"Uh! It was an accident, okay? I slipped!" Blackarachnia gasped snarling to move her arm away from Silverbolt to make a false excuse about what she did was not what it seem.

"You sure, cause anyone else would say…" Terra-Lock was about to say something about the she-spider when…

"Say what!?" Blackarachnia glares at anyone that was ready to say something about her out of character act.

"Ah, nothing…" Jackrabbit cuts off Terra-Lock from saying another word on the subject. "I think it's better not to dig our graves when it comes to pushing her buttons." The youngest Maximal rabbit bot whispered to her pal to drop the subject for their own sakes.

Optimus was still down, his body emits the strange cyber-virus coursing from parts of his body. "Beep!" Then the com-links became active, as if something was broadcasting to the Maximal Leader…

"Rattrap to Optimus..." Rattrap's voice was heard trying to make contact.

"Ugh!" OPTIMUS exhausted to lift his head, hearing Rattrap's voice got him a little awake at this time.

BACK AT THE MAXIMAL FORT

The scene changes to what's happening of the Maximals left to protect their base that's now under attack….

"TORNADO…./FIRE…" Jin and Axel were about to release a big combo move when…

"WAIT! You can't launch an attack that big INDOORS!? It might hit some of us too!?" Tyree panics that there's no telling what that move can do indoors.

"Tytree is right, stick with the smaller stuff or we'll bring the whole mountain down…" Longrack issue on trying to keep their new fort at least in one piece.

"That or cause an early eruption?" Salvage shrug off the shoulders from such a thought they overlooked.

"BAM-BAM!" Then more explosive attacks caught those off guard, as they had to flea from being easy targets. "BOOM-BOOM!" It was likely a one-sided issue of either lacking firepower or restraining destructive power to not damage the volcano for fear of disaster events to come.

"Bad Day! Bad Day!" Jack-Tool yelped from each time the group avoids an explosive force. "Bad Day!" The guy yelps from when another shot almost took his head off.

"How's that call Rattrap?" Trans-Mutate asked in hoping for some good news.

"Working on it!" Rattrap exclaim from trying to keep the connection stable.

"BOOM!" Then another explosion was almost too close that some lava almost splatter on the human groups if they didn't dodge in time.

"Anytime now?" Ladybug exclaim for the rodent to speed up the call.

"Yeah listen fearless leader? Hate to interrupt your picnic..." Rattrap exclaim as he, Rhinox and everyone else were retreating from heavy gunfire attacks.

"BAM!" An explosion happened which missed those that took cover behind metal boxes.

"Geh...but we got BIG Pred problems! Uh uh." Rattrap issue from when he and those with him duck from another attack.

BACK ON OPTIMUS' SIDE

"Uuurgh!" Cheetor is blasted back against a rock on the other side of the downed Optimus, as he tries to keep fighting back.

"Come on Cheetor, put a little more into it!" Aquarius issue as she tried to backup the cadet for lacking.

"Just hang on Rattrap, you and Rhinox are our last hope." Optimus tried to speak through the com-link to encourage his crewmates. "Defend the... defend the..." The guy tries to speak, but he succumbs to the effects of the intoxicating cyber veno, coursing around the head. "There he is, my little guy..." Optimus spoke off singing with a bigger head, which also caught Cheetor and Aquarius off guard when it happen.

BACK AT THE MAXIMAL FORT

And the signal was heard back to those at the base and listen in…

"There he is my little guy." Rattrap heard the signing on the com-link by Optimus, and became confused. "Isn't he cute..." Rattrap looked to the others, as they all shared a puzzled and confused look.

"Well this here be a boggle? Was that really Optimus on the line?" Jin scratch his head from sounding confused on what they heard on the com-link.

"I got him memorized, and that was indeed his voice." Axel nods to confirm it, thought puzzled as anyone else.

"Yeah, and he sang…to Rattrap?" Salvage was feeling weird about how this scene kinda felt…off.

"That's not what I wanted to hear." Rattrap shook his head, feeling that was not the answer was not what he expected.

"BOOM!" Then a loud explosion happened which those hiding looked up: and saw the Autoguns spin around to stop and having been damage by a missile attack.

"Uh oh!" Rattrap mutter with worry, there goes their defenses.

"The Autoguns!?" Trans-Mutate exclaim from seeing their last defense was totaled. "They were taken down now." Artemis spoke through and also knew that it was just them against a group of enemies.

"BOOM!" Another explosion shook the area where the Maximals hid, as Rhinox looked back. The Predacons began firing from behind rocks and metal crate boxes for cover.

"Bangbangbangbangbangbang…" Rhinox stood up and unleashed his Gatling Machine Guns to open fire at the targets. "KABLAM!/OOOFFF!" But Rhinox got hit by a blast and knock backwards into the lower computer banks of the command deck and fell on his face.

"Rhinox!" Ladybug called forth as she ran to help the Maximal up.

"Oh boy." Rattrap remarks from realizing this was not their best day.

"Try to hold them off!" Dive-Bomb instructs those that they need more time to hold the enemy back.

"Grrr…." Tytree summoned his tree vines, but then they burst into flames. "AAahhh! They're already burning my vines!?" He yelps, that was too close and he almost got burned.

"Wahahahahahah!" Inferno laughs off like a crazy lune enjoying as he used the Flame Thrower function to burn anything.

"Oh yeah! A few more wins and it's gonna be victory dance time!" Bisk issue forth as he was raring to go and knock a few bots off their blocks.

The group were starting to get worried, the enemy was about to make an advance on their position very soon.

BACK AT THE PLAINS

The scene changes to show those on the plains fighting against Predacons and Cyber-Raptors.

"BAM!/GAAAAhhh!?" A sudden attack blast knocxk Cheetor away from Optimus "Oof!?" And then Cheetor hit against some back rocks, as he was knock out temporally.

"BOOM!/AAAaugh!?" Then another surprise attack hit Aquarius and knock her away from Optimus. "Ohhh…" Aquarius moans as she tried to push herself off the ground.

"GRRRrrrr!" Then without warning, two Cyber-Raptors lauch themselves to tackle Noctorro and Air Hammer down as they wrestle the beast.

"Don't stop! Don't Stop!" Crazy Blitzwing issue as he was firing rounds while switching between his personality in using fire and ice energy blast.

"AhhhH! Co-co-cold!?" Odd yelped from the sudden coldness effecting his body.

"Can't…move…" Ulrich cringed as the humans felt the cold and the bots felt the heat.

"Aelita is busy and the others have their own issues!" Yumi stated on seeing they all have their problems to tend to.

"The enemy could pop up anywhere? Now what?" Sissi ponders how else they can get by this situation.

"Now I'm hoping backup comes for the backup's rescue!" William lightly thought that they were meant to backup Cheetor's group, but they need help.

The two Neanderthal children peak behind the rock after seeing Cheetor hurt, and their focus on the giant…Optimus who was also hurt.

"Urrrgh…Arrrgh!?" Optimus groans fighting the cyber-venom, as his glowing head cease and return to normal briefly.

"Aaaaahhhhhh!?" Then the Neanderthal children screamed in terror, because of what they saw.

"Grrrrr…" Then Optimus turned his worried head, to see on the left side was…a Cyber-Raptor. "GRAAAOOOrrrrrrh!" The Cyber-Raptor roared, as if ready to strike.

"Optimus!?" Terra-Lock and Jackrabbit shouted, as they couldn't react in time while distracted by unseen attacks.

The Neanderthal children watch in horror as the one who saved them was in danger when…

"Gaaaaahhh!" Then Chak grunts to point at something which Una looked to see what it was.

"Grah-Grah…GRAAARRRRRRUUUU!" On one of the rocks wielding a prehistoric style hammer club, was none other then the Neanderthal Leader himself: Hammer.

"Wait, that's…" Jeremie was surprised at who had come out of nowhere.

"I think so Jeremie…." Aelita nods lightly to stop her Creativity after seeing a familiar Protohuman.

Without warning, Hammer rushed onto the dangerous scene. Optimus stared in surprise, seeing Hammer leap to fight what had an advantage, even Cheetor recover to witness this act.

"GRruargh!" That's when Hammer landed on the back of the Cyber-Raptor.

"GRAUURRRhhhh!" The Cyber-Raptor roared from detecting something on his backside.

"GRAAARrrrrrhhhh!" Hammer made another battle cry as he held control antenna, then… "GUUrgh!/BAM!" Then he delivered a bash of the hammer club right at the cyber-control pack on the back of the metal creature.

"Hahahahh…" Then Chak and Una smiled and cheer for their tribe leader's bravery.

"GRRAAARRRRRRHHH!?" Without warning, the Cyber-Raptor reared up and was going berserk that Hammer jumped off from the screeching and flailing.

"Grrruagh!?" Hammer landed safely on the ground, before witnessing his action.

"GRRRaarrrgh!?" The Cyber-Raptor continued to go berserk, until Waspinator in Beast Mode flew in…

"DUuuwwwwhhh!?" Without warning, Waspinator yelped from the berserk raptor pouncing and stomping on the wasp bot. "Oh no! Down, Raptor! BAD Raptor!" Waspinator tried to stop the metal creature from this behavior before… "BOOM!/DURRROooohhhh!?" Without warning, the Cyber-Raptor exploded and Waspinator was caught: both had been taken down.

"Ugh…That's it!" Optimus exclaim from having witness what just happened to the Cyber-Raptor. "Attack the cyber-controls…that's where they're vulnerable!" He called out to everyone to expose the weaknesses of the Cyber-Raptors.

"Ugh, of course…these things might be tough outside, but they need a receiver to remain active." Jeremie "It's their one fatal flaw!"

"Grrrr…" Air Hammer and Noctorro struggle to move a free hand on their weapons, but they couldn't get a clean shot. "POW!/BAM!" Then both aim at the other's robo raptor to hit the weak-point. "GRAAAAAUGH!?" And the two Cyber-Raptors started to go haywire and react in a berserk way towards Blitzwing in the air.

"WQHAT THE!?" Rage Blitzwing yelps as the Cyber-Raptors approach and them leaped to accidental get near him before… "BOOM!/GAARRrughh!?" And they exploded and knock the bot out of commission.

Cheetor and the Neanderthal children looked to the left side and… "GRUOOoerrrr!" There was the last Cyber-Raptor left as it looked ready to attack.

"Pow…/BOOM!" But a determine Blackarachnia managed to aim her Anchor Launcher, fired and the shot exploded on the cyber-control pack on the back. "GRRRAAAUUOORRRH!" The Cyber-Raptor made a loud screech, and began to frantically move. It struggle towards where Tarantulas appeared on top of a nearby rock.

"Oh no!" Tarantulas yelps from what was heading for him before…the Cyber-Raptor knock him behind the rock. "BOOM!/Oooooof!" Then an explosion occurred, and with it a yelp cry from Tarantulas signaling his defeat.

"Yehahaha-Hahahaaahhh…" The Neanderthal kids cheered happily with triumphant sounds as Cheetor smiled to give the okay on taking down that problem nicely.

"Oh, I see one more…" Aquarius grins slyly when getting up to see one more Cyber-Raptor remaining.

"Shall we?" Terra-Lock grins from knowing what this means for them.

"Yeah…" Jackrabbit smirks to agree as they aim their weapons.

"POW!/BOOM!" Aquarius, Jackrabbit and Terra-Lock fired their weapons which exploded on the control pack on the last metal raptor. "GROOARRRHHH!?" And that Cyber-Raptor was going berserk to head where Hyena Quinn had hidden.

"Oh no! This ain't Funny! Time to scram! And call in a retreat plan!" Hyena Quinn quickly was trying to get away until the Cyber-Raptor leaped upwards towards the running direction of the Pred. "BOOM!/Ouch!?" And that one blew up which caused the she-bot to yelp in pain from that explosion.

As everyone was proud of their victory, Waspinator seem to function a little to activate his com-link.

"Megatron! Wazzpinator report…failure!" Waspinator exclaim to weakly say before he passed out on the spot.

BACK AT THE MAXIMAL FORT

The scene changes to where the Predacons continue to attack the Maximals inside the volcanic mountain. But at the moment, Megatron held his left wrist to his face to receive the latest report. And it was not good news to hear his other unit was defeated along with the Cyber-Raptors.

"Hurrrrh! Worthless bug!" Megatron became infuriated and cursed the matter of what Waspinator reported: his plan to keep the others at bay have failed him.

"Powh…/BOOM!" Inferno and Rampage fired more shots which exploded around a metal crate which had pinned the Maximals.

"RAarrrr….Don't let up! Keep firing!" Raid Jango snarled to order the troops to continue their assault tactic.

"Inferno! Rampage! Raid Jango! And All Units!" Megatron called his forces to hear him. "Prepare to take hostages!" The guy was instructing they will use those here to bargain and make use of their situation. "The Ark is ours! It…/BAM!/AAAACK!" Just as Megatron was boasting, he was attacked by a blast that knock him back.

"Where that attack come from?" Spittor ponders, the enemies are in front...right?

Then something flew onto the scene, it was Depth-Charge in Vehicle Mode. Then the bot transforms into Robot Mode in the air as everyone watched before Depth-Charge lands on the ground. Then he threw his Manta Ray Lance Spear forward. "BOOM!" Which destroyed the large rock that covered Inferno.

"Oooofoooff!?" Inferno yelped, apparently Depth-Charge has plenty of fire power to challenge them.

"MUUARRRRH!" Then a loud bull sound was heard, as the other Preds notice Taros charging in his Beast Mode.

"BUUUUULLLLL!/POW!" Bisk tried to warn, but he, Spittor and Buzzclaw got rammed by Taros.

Then Depth-Charge brought out his Shark-Blaster and another blaster, and began firing rapid rounds of yellow energy spheres. "BOOM!/GAAaugh!/GWAAauh!?" The shots impacted to explode and knock down Inferno and Rampage.

"Powh-Powh…/CLUNK-CLUNK!" Then Megatron fired from his Tail Grappler Blaster, but Depth-Charge used his shield manta wings to block the attacks.

"YARRRRRRRHHHH!" Depth-Charge made a battle cry without warning. "POWvhmm…" Then fired an energy disc from the manta ray mouth on the chest-plate.

"BOOM!" That attack destroyed Megatron's hiding spot, leaving him exposed.

"POW-POW!" Depth-Charge continued to fire his endless attacks. "BOOM-BOOM!/GURGH-GARRGH!?/BOOM!/GARRrhhh!?" Megatron tried to endure as much as possible, but the attacks were pretty strong.

"Bangbangbangbangbang…/Pow-Pow-Pow!" Soon Rhinox and Rattrap join in to continue the endless blasting barrage of their weapons when the enemy was weaken to provide cover fire.

"Now's ur chance! Hit them hard everyone!" Ladybug issue as everyone needed to focus on pushing the enemy back.

"Now your speaking my language!" Jin grins with excitement that they can turn the tides now.

"NRAAAuurghh…Lord Megatron! We can't win!? We are out number and out gun!?" Raid Jango groans from enduring the blast while requesting they retreat.

"GRAaaugh-AArh!? Ahhh!" Megatron yelped against any attacks that hit him while trying to defend as much as possible. "Predacons…RETREAT!" Megatron yelled this out for all troops to fallback.

"He who fights and runs away, lives to challenge another day!" Bisk exclaim an old saying that even for a gamer, better to challenge a tough fight when your good and ready.

Wasn't long before Megatron transform from Robot Mode to Beast Mode, then shifted to Flight Mode. Megatron quickly fleas the scene while Depth-Charge, Taros, along with the Maximals and New Warriors continued their barrage of attacks. It became so much that Inferno had to jump and use his rear thruster to fly off while Rampage transform to his Tank Mode. The other Preds pick themselves up to run and some even grab their fallen troops at the Blast Door to flea. Once all of the enemies had fled the scene, Depth-Charge cease attacking and turn around to face those he saved.

"Big Preds are my specialty." Depth-Charge issue that when it comes to taking down larger enemies with enough firepower, he's got plenty to offer.

"And when there's more of us, we can bring enough to take down plenty of bigger enemies." Taros proclaim this while transforming to Robot Mode, wanting to aid in helping the bots here.

"Not too shabby." Rhinox lowered his arms to compliment on Depth-Charge's handy work that cleared that problem nicely.

"Eh. Still smells like fish." Rattrap shrug off his shoulders and waved his left hand that despite the help, the bot is pretty much difficult to get along with in his eyes.

"Rattrap!?" The humans and cadets exclaim on the rodent's rudeness.

"What!? It's true your know?" Rattrap remarked that no how they cooperate with Depth-Charge, he'll smell like fish out of the water without washing it off.

Depth-Charge gave Rattrap a little glare for that remark after being saved. But then again, to him if it means he can take down Rampage, he'll cooperate with Optimus' Crew for his own agenda.

BACK AT THE PLAINS

THE AFTERMATH OF THE BATTLE

The scene opens to show the plains aftermath of when the group had defeated the Cyber-Raptors. Now the enemy raptors were litter around the field, smoking from the explosion they went through after the cyber-controls got totaled.

"Hugh…ugh…Aaahhh!?" At this moment, Silverbolt was helping to administer an antidote to the cyber-venom as Optimus made light signs from every step while sitting on a rock. "Gaaaughh!?" The process was slow, but he was slowly returning back to normal.

"Doing better Jeremie?" Aelita helped the boy up after having applied bandages and medicine tohelp heal the broken ribs.

"Yeah, the others?" Jeremie nods a bit while wondering how their friends are handling themselves.

"A bit of frostbite, but I'm sure they can handle it." Aelita smiled a bit to state it'll be a brush off compared to other things.

"ACHOO!" Odd was heard sneezing that got everyone to look at him. "Sniff…speak for yourself!?" The guy issue with a runny nose as the other human teens tried to contain the urge to laugh at this funny sight.

At this moment, Cheetor walked a bit out to look at something that he didn't want to miss. And it wasn't long before the Lyoko Warriors and the other cadets join up.

"Hmmm…/Hmmmm!" Una smiled as she waved back and so did Chak as well to say farewell to Cheetor.

"Ahhh-Ahhh! Ahhh!" Una made little grunt cries as she and Chak were with Hammer, feeling safe with their tribe leader as they look back.

"Looks like they are heading home now. Think they'll be okay?" Terra-Lock asked how the little ones will be after they leave their side.

"Hey, they're with a guy who was saved by Dinobot and inherit his will of a warrior." Jackrabbit smiled to boast of who those Neanderthal kids are with.

"You know, the way he handle things despite being overmatch, maybe a thank you gift is needed?" William ponders what to give as this was a major achievement for a new generation of humans for this world that went beyond what any developing species would perform.

"And what would you give him?" Yumi asked a good question that was on everyone's mind.

"How about a better name then Hammer since Odd came up with it." Ulrich exclaim from knowing how silly that name was base on a weapon.

"Hey, it felt right at the time." Odd protest that it was when the Neanderthal warrior obtain a weapon befitting his use.

"Yeah, but if he's now an acting leader, he needs a better name. Neanderthal Leader is one thing, but something more…simple." Sissi stated that it maybe time to give someone who has displayed such things a more unique name.

"How about, Blix?" Aelita ponders before her suggestion got attention. "It can mark the special occasion that when he swung his weapon, it cause the Cyber-Raptor to spark bits of light. Almost like blix moment." She suggested how the name she came up with had some character theme to it, but not just base on a weapon.

"Blix, that's not a bad idea Aelita. We'll keep that in memory for next time." Jeremie ponders a bit from thinking what the pink haired girl suggest was not a bad name. "Hey Cheetor, I know you'll miss Chak and Una, but don't think this means you won't see them again. I think they'll be around here if Blix found a settlement for their tribe." The guy encouraged Cheetor who seem down to say farewell to new friends he got along with.

"You know what Jeremie, your right. And I kinda like that idea too. Seeing them again." Cheetor lightly nods the head in agreement of seeing Chak and Una in the future.

Cheetor couldn't help but smile at having return the kids back to where they belong. As Cheetor waved an right arm up in the air, saying farewell as the Neanderthal Leader, formerly known as Hammer now called Blix took Una's hand to lead the children back to their tribe. It was truly a happy moment of what the group had done.

"Well, is it safe to head back?" Optimus turns to spot Air Hammer and Noctorro land down with him and Silverbolt after having survey the area.

"Yep! Them Preds high-tailed out, so we're good to get back to the fort!" Noctorro issue on having done a brief check for a safe trip back.

"Can you walk sir?" Air Hammer asked if Optimus can make it back after just getting the Cyber-Venom treated just now.

"Ugh, slowly, but I'll manage. Let's get ready to leave before anymore surprises happen." Optimus groans a bit while stating that he'll make it through somehow.

Air Hammer and Noctorro nod in agreement, after that battle they don't wanna be caught off if the Predacons plan to unleash more of such deadly weapons during the war. Meanwhile, Blackarachnia was seen surreptitiously retrieving component chip parts from the wrecked Cyber-Raptor remain.

"Hmm. There'll be time for a good close look at this ... in private." Blackarachnia hums to herself before putting the chip away in her wrist compartment, finding a use for such tech after she's not surrounded by anyone.

"Uh..." Then at the moment, Blackarachnia turn when Cheetor was seen shyly approaching her. "That was incredible…the way you saved the Kids' lives..." Cheetor praise Blackarachnia, that though she didn't have to, the Ex-Pred showed real Maximal potential in protecting life at the cost of one's own.

"Are you bots gonna drop this, sooner or later?" Blackarachnia exasperated with a firmly annoyed look, getting tired of hearing that same story about her noble act.

"...And I really thought ... y'know ..." Cheetor tried to explain things to the best he could to the she-spider. "We made a pretty great team, um, which I mean everyone here, um…didn't we?" Cheetor asked curiously about Blackarachnia's opinion on how well they managed to work together.

"Listen, tabby... you're a nice kid…" Blackarachnia issue to softly say this to Cheetor, but then looked to see Silverbolt look in their direction with a firm look. "Which is two strikes against you. So don't go looking for strike three, okay?" The she-spider remarked from changing her tone about the young cadet about what she sees about Cheetor's character, as she turns to join up with Silverbolt.

"But…" Cheetor was going to protest but got cut off…

"Cheetor, just forget it." That's when Aquarius tap the young cadet's shoulder to have him cease further embarrassment. "In my view, that girl…even when you fought her in the war, she never saw you as a serious threat." She issue from knowing too well that the she-spider was sneaky and unpredictable but she was serious at least…to those that were more grown-up types.

"What? No, that's…" Cheetor was feeling like that couldn't be true, right?

"Look I don't trust her too much at times, but she is right about one thing." Aquarius stated on breaking the news as gently as possible. "To her, you, me, and the other cadets…are just nice little kids tagging along for the ride of the big bots we follow under their shadow." She didn't hold back, she explain just what type of bots she saw the Maximal Cadets are no different from the Neanderthal kids that were still pre-mature.

Pretty much Cheetor had to absorb what happened as he looked around. Apparently to Blackarachnia, he's nothing but a goofy young cadet, and the she-spider doesn't see him as anything pass that. And even Aquarius who seem a bit moody felt disturb to agree with Blackarachnia that any Maximal Cadet are just kids that don't know anything of the real grown up world.

"I'm not a kid..." Cheetor lowly remarked under his breath as he looked to those ahead.

Blackarachnia was walking with Silverbolt who looked at Cheetor, then firmly spread his left wing to block the cat-bot cadet's view of Blackarachnia. Optimus had gotten up to slowly walk with the rest of the Maximals and Lyoko Warriors to depart this area.

"Hey Jackrabbit, wanna see who's faster back!" Terra-Lock challenged Jackrabbit when they transform to Beast Mode.

"Challenging a rabbit to a race. Nice of you to hand me the win!" Jackrabbit smirks from boasting about her speed to wipe the floor with this slow muscle guy.

As Jackrabbit and Terra-Lock began to rush off, Cheetor couldn't help but pay attention to their action. Was this really what Blackarachnia saw them as, that every cadet shows too much innocence and niceness that doesn't belong on the battlefield. And maybe to the cat bot, who has always had such a friendly nice guy persona, maybe it's a quality that might make him fall into last place to all the serious older members of the Maximals.

"Maybe I have been viewing things in my own little word. Maybe that's why I'm not taken seriously cause I'm just a nice little kid, but I'm not." Cheetor mumble under his breath a bit here before sounding serious. "And maybe I'm not so nice, either." Cheetor firmly narrow his eyes, apparently a bit upset by this development.

Having enough said, a firmly moody Cheetor was walking along the rear of the others.

AT THIS TIME

AT THE PRED BASE

The scene quickly changes to show the scene of where a destroyed Cyber-Raptor lay. And passing by it was Cheetor going to join with the Maximals and humans to return to their base. All this was seen on a monitor screen projecting events as they are.

"Ah a near-success." Megatron was heard signing from having witness what occurred. "My Transmetal II technology works…" Megatron then held a specially crafted computer chip while introducing it's purpose to create a new breed of Transmetals. "But it is unstable without a Spark." Megatron grimly remarked that though the Cyber-Raptors proved to be capable of a new step for Transmetal progress, but due to the cyber-control systems being destroyed caused a setback in development.

"Incoming Transmission! Unit – Sky Shadow and Terragator." Then the female computer voice was heard announcing a sudden call coming in.

"Report!" Megatron received the incoming communication.

"Lord Megatron, many of our troops have done what you asked." Sky Shadow appeared on the sphere monitor with Terragator. "They have searched and found out some locations of fallen Stasis Pods." He revealed some intriguing news that caught many attention.

"Excellent. Coordinates?" Megatron smiles from liking the sounds of that very much.

"We have determine many fell in a general area, but were buried and unable to find from quakes and storms." Sky Shadow explain why they couldn't discover a few pods due to certain issues.

"Right, and we even found somebody who's in rougher shape and just barely clinging to Stasis-Lock to extend himself from going offline. Fished him out of the river by where the old Axelon use to be." Terragator issue to reveal some other surprising piece of news.

"Hmmm…I may have a use if who you found, is indeed who I think it is." Megatron scratch his chin from liking the sounds of this intel. "Um, for now…don't come into contact and DON'T active those pods…not yet. We need time before we begin reprogramming." He gave strange instructions to those that had found some pods.

"Really, why?" Terragator asked from not following this at all: Megatron wouldn't wait to get more soldiers.

"Because for my next experiment, I'm taking my Transmetal II technology to the next step…for Transformers to evolve beyond the Transmetal limitations." Megatron issue that for things to work, he will need to test such a thing on Protoforms. "But tell me, while you were searching, did you find what I requested." He asked for other things that sounded a bit secret.

"Yes, we found some unknown type of tech, it may have been leftovers from…those aliens." Sky Shadow nods to confirm what Megatron was requesting.

"Good. All the more reason, we shall prepare a spot to begin the next experiment step." Megatron sounded please, he'll make fine use of such alien tech now.

"Don't need to be a bummer of moods, but even if we use a Stasis Pod, we can't be sure it won't destroy the Sparks." Terragator issue on thinking if the experiment to give a Transformer the body of a Transmetal II, what's to say it won't backfire like with the Cyber-Raptors.

"He speaks true Lord Megatron, the data can adjust the setting on what you learn from the raptors. But you'll need help develop a successful experiment, but losing a functioning bot is a waste." Sky Shadow firmly confirms that unless success is guarantee, they'll lose the life of a Transformer before it's fully activated.

"Hmmm, then perhaps we need a Spark that can help us move things more smoothly for Transmetal II technology to see the light of day and pass on the same data to help make progress run more elegantly." Megatron held his chin to ponder how to make sure that a bot acquiring Transmetal II survives long enough that the information can record enough to make more later. "Oh however, as it happens..." Megatron suddenly smirks from having dawn to him about this dilemma…

That's when Megatron pulled out Rampage's Spark-core and holds it up musingly.

"...I have half a one to spare!" Megatron exclaim from realizing that if it's a Spark his Tranmetal II technology needs, then why not use what he's got. "Gahahahaharhhh…" Soon Megatron began to let off an evil laugh on the irony of it all…

The camera began to zoom away as it looks like Megatron began to put the squeeze on Rampage's Spark as the Energon spikes press down on the immortal thing. With a flash from the Spark, the scene went dark. And with that, a new evil plot was beginning to unfold in the making…

NOTES: The names for the Protohumans were originally learn about much later in Season 3. But decided to help speed up on how the children, Chak and Una, would get their names.

*Also another fact, while the Neanderthal Leader was given the name Hammer due to some reasons I mention in Season 2. Turns out the actual name was Blix, so I helped work a way where he'll get a new name in this work.

Well it's been a very long wait, but now the chapter has been posted. Next chapter, Megatron has begun to create a Transmetal II Transformer from a Blank Protoform, it's the birth of…Dinobot II! But just then, Megatron's experiment gets interrupted by unwelcome Maximal party crashers, and a chain reaction occurs that causes a HUGE Explosion, one that might have done much more greater harm then anyone from the Maximal side could handle. And if THAT wasn't bad enough, Megatron and his assembled Pred group prepare to cause trouble. But there's something lurking in the dark, something that can cut through Transformer metal bodies? What scary horrors await us, and what mysterious lie in wait for one to experience? Stay tune to find out, so enjoy…
