Greetings to my dear fans, it's been a very long wait. But the wait is over now. I've started what every Beast Wars fan has wanted to see, the beginning of the Transmetal II intro. And I made this chapter a little special which you'll see in a moment. There was much I had to figure out while busy with other daily stuff, but I've finally got it. Chapter 06: Feral Scream – Part 1
LOCATION: PREDACON TERRITORY
The scene begins to open to a canyon in the middle of a terrible storm. There was something wicked occurring on this dark stormy night. And there was a buzzing sound, followed by…a Stasis Pod!? It turns out that Waspinator was in Beast Mode hauling the pod attach to a cable rope through the mountain canyons. He was being helped by Q-Bee that held a second cable rope tied to the main one. And was accompanied by Megatron in Robot Mode using his Hover turbine fans to follow. Behind him was Fractyl, Raid Jango and Blitzwing in Robot Mode to fly or use back jets to hover…
"Turn right you little insects!" Angry Blitzwing snapped to order those which way to turn in flight path. "No, make a left at the next corner." Cold Blitzwing came in to correct the direction as the bugs perform their task. "Hahahahah….why not split it down the middle?" Crazy Blitzwing took charge to make a crazy suggestion that sounded, well crazy…
"NUurrghh…Wazzpinator izzzz trying to zzzttteeer!?" Waspinator moans from all the backseat driving he's getting.
"And we need to focus if you wouldn't mind." Q-Bee asked that they perform their job their own way.
"Mrrrruummm…." Megatron let loose a low tone for trying to navigate themselves through this area during such a storm. "Will you make certain that nothing happens to the pod!? We need to move quickly now!" He issued to those flying beside him with a slight annoyance of impatience.
"Lord Megatron, you asked us to quickly reach the location at our fastest speed." Fractyl informed Megatron on them having to race across this area under such harsh weather. "But the storm is interfering with the Warp Gate to get us there. We have to fly there, and through the canyon mountains." He expressed his thoughts on trying to make things easy as possible.
"NRaaaaaurgh….but fear not, the others are waiting for us. And everything is nearly ready." Raid Jango snarled forth to proclaim that all is set and ready when they arrive.
"Good. Soon I'll take a big step in strengthening the Predacons and being one step closer to victory." Megatron exclaimed from wanting to increase the power of his army. "And our new experiment, shall bring forth some intriguing results." He issued from looking at the pod before them with an evil grin. "Gahahahaaahh…" Soon Megatron broke out with a maniacal laughter on what use he has for the pod…
ELSEWHERE
AT THIS TIME
The scene changes to show the same canyon area exhibiting the energy storm. We spot Cheetor in Flight Mode as he soars through with caution. Joining him was Larkshot as he was carrying Jackrabbit on his backside. And then the Lyoko Warriors team were on their Over-Vehicles: Odd, Ulrich, William, and Yumi. Wasn't long before Cheetor's group joins up with Optimus in Robot Mode as he was using a scan device but got static interference. With Optimus was the ground unit made up of Cybershark, Aquarius, Jeremie, Aelita, and Sissi.
"Hey guys, anything on your end?" Jeremie asked on how the search may have went.
"You want the good news or the bad news?" Odd asked with a sarcastic tone under his voice.
"We search all over, but haven't found anything yet." Yumi shook her head to regret on their effort turn up nothing.
"Are you certain?" Optimus asked from wanting a certain answer here.
"Not a ping, blip, or blurp, Big-bot." Cheetor reports about what his side turn up. "Maybe it was just a little frequency flap from the charge airwaves?" He shrug off the shoulders to admit the storm caused something that their scans picked up by mistake.
"No, it was a beacon." Optimus issue about knowing what they picked up. "There's a Stasis Pod out here somewhere." He looked to those present with certainty that there is a Maximal Pod in this area.
"And wouldn't you know it, it's pretty close to Pred Territory." William frowns a bit from feeling concern on where they are near.
"All the more reason things might be looking grim tonight?" Ulrich rolled his eyes to state the obvious on this situation.
"Have you guys tried to boast the signal?" Jackrabbit asked about trying to sort through the problem by raising the signal to get the receiver end.
"We have, we tried different frequencies." Aelita explain how they been trying to work things out so it make the search easier.
"But something keeps interrupting…the weirdest thing, is that it's like the pod's signal is moving?" Sissi stretch her head that she used the scanner she had and found it odd that an object was moving around instead of being in one place.
"Then, something must be jamming it?" Cheetor ponders that the reason they can't locate the pod is interference.
"Perhaps this storm is causing the error?" Larkshot ponders a guess of what was likely causing the problem they are having.
"More like 'someone'…" Optimus firmly narrow his eyes to have a hunch that the interference might not be by natural cause.
Then at that moment, the Maximal group turns in one direction. At which the Predacon group hovers up with one of them holding a Stasis Pod….
"OOrrrgh!?/Hmmmm?/Grrrr?" Waspinator and Q-Bee replies while Megatron growls from realizing who they encountered. Along Fractyl, Raid Jango and Blitzwing arriving in an attack formation.
"Gee, I wonder who." Cheetor made a sly remark with a cocky tone at Optimus in seeing who could have interfered with their scanning for a nearby pod.
"Children, brace yourselves!" Cybershark warns Jeremie's group as they know what's coming next.
Megatron glares as he charges up his Tail-Grappler for battle. Optimus opens up his Chest-Cannons to prepare for combat. "Pow-Pow, Pow…/Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang…." And soon both sides were firing without warning, the other fliers were evading the shots as this was becoming a stand off between two group leaders.
"Hiyeeeeh!?" Cheetor yelped from almost getting hit.
"YIKES!" Jackrabbit yelped as Larkshot maneuvered to evade the incoming shots.
"Hoooo-Aaaurgh!?" Waspinator yelps from trying to not get hit as well.
"Woah-Ooohhhh!?" Q-Bee yelps from not getting hit while holding the cable line.
"BAM!/GAAAAAurgh!?" Then at an unlucky moment, Optimus yelps from being blasted off his feet.
"Huuugh!?" Cheetor gasped when he saw his leader fall. "Pow/…/BAM!/GAAauuugh!?" But a distraction made Megatron fire again which exploded a shot to knock Cheetor off.
"Fractyl, Raid Jango, Blitzwing….Divert the others attention!" Megatron turns to his fliers that are free, then slowly gear up to spread themselves out.
That's when the Predacons began to open fire that scattered the groups: Raid Jango kept the Lyoko Warriors busy, while Fractyl and Blitzwing cause the other Maximals on the ground to find cover while being fired from a higher advantage. With the Maximal group was distracted, Megatron turns to focus on those remaining: Waspinator and Q-Bee.
"Protect that pod with your lives, Waspinator! Q-Bee!" Megatron raise his left hand in the air to give strict orders on what needs protection: the claim Stasis Pod. "YOUR LIVES!" He made an extra sneer strict tone, for he does not want to lose the pod to the Maximals: or else somebody will pay a heavy price this day. "BAM!/Guuuuarh!?" Then an explosive happen that caused Megatron to yelp from being hit behind. "GRRUUOOOOARRRRH!" He turns to growl angry at seeing Optimus up and firing.
Pretty much both Maximal and Predacon leaders continued to be in their lock battle to defeat the other. "BAM!" Course one of the shots fired by Optimus exploded under Waspinator and Q-Bee to lose the cable grip as the pod…fell!?
"Nooooohhhh!?" Waspinator cried out in shock in seeing the pod fall into a foggy canyon.
"Uh-oh, maybe we better go retrieve it?" Q-Bee yelps from this action, that they will be in trouble if they don't perform this one task.
Left with no other choice, Waspinator and Q-Bee transforms to fly downwards. At this moment, the Stasis Pod clashed against some edge rocks to skid just near a cliff to a halt. We spot the Predacon fliers going down to where the pod had stopped it's descend. But Cheetor noticed the action as well, then on instincts leap forth while dodging some enemy shots to reach the pod.
"Gurgh!?" Waspinator reach the bottom first to grab the cable rope. "Powhh-Powhh, Powhh!" Then started firing his Sting Launcher shots at the incoming threat.
Cheetor managed to maneuver and evade the incoming shots while on route to the pod. "BAM!" But then an unexpected energy blast exploded behind those seeking the pod and were knock off course.
"Gurha-hahahaaahh…" Megatron laughs off evilly with a grin from taking down the rescue unit before focusing on Optimus below. "POW-POW…/BAM-BAM…" The shots fired slowly forced Optimus to seek cover since his large body made him an easy target.
"GUaaaaagh…GUUUAGH!/CLANK!" Cheetor screamed and yelped when falling but hit the ground below.
"Nehehehhhheeee…" Waspinator let off a little laugh at the unfortunate ones bad luck.
"Pod secure, time to leave. Yes?" Q-Bee replied in seeing that they can now get moving.
Soon the ones with the pod took off without any delay. The battle was still going on that kept everyone in a stalemate motion…
"Owwww!?" Cheetor slowly pushed himself up, shook the head from aching all over what happen; then Cheetor transforms to Robot Mode without warning.
"Cheetor!?" Then approaching Cheetor turn out to be Odd with Aelita and Jackrabbit. "Anything broken?" Aelita asked how the cat bot was doing right now.
"Just my pride? Who shoots a bot dodging incoming shots in the front by attacking their back?" Cheetor rubbed the sore spot while trying to get the feeling in his gears.
"What do you expect, Preds love shooting others in the back." Odd shrug off after recalling how Predacons like to perform in their actions.
"The rest are distracting Raid Jango and the others, we gotta strike and turn the tide! Or we're gonna lose!" Jackrabbit stated on what's going on while they are focus on what they need to do next.
"Guahg!/BOOM!" Then the group heard a yelp cry from an explosion, turns out to be from Optimus who was still pin by Megatron's constant attacks: sometimes being big doesn't give one much agility to find hiding spots.
"Grrr…that's it! No more fooling around!" Cheetor growled after seeing the Preds try to mistreat them: enough is enough. "Hang on, Big Bot! I'll give 'em something to fret about!" Cheetor sternly issue from not about to let an attack on his expose back getaway.
That's when Cheetor pulled something out from his compartment on the backside: it appeared to be a powerful long-range sniper rifle.
"Woah…Cheetor, what's with the Big Gun!?" Odd yelps upon seeing something unexpected.
"Brought it along for a little extra insurance." Cheetor proclaim on what his reason for bringing such a weapon along.
"But aren't military grade weapons only used by older crewmen of the Axelon?" Aelita states from knowing that such extra powerful weapon grades should be handled with extra careful care.
"And that cadet's shouldn't use them without permission. Especially the one Dinobot once used, it packs a wallop that's hard to handle?" Jackrabbit states on remembering this was the main weapon Dinobot used after the Quantum Surge affected the whole planet.
"File a complaint later, this is an emergency!" Cheetor issue the serious manner of what they are dealing with without hesitation.
Cheetor looked through the target lens which had a red target lock on seeing Waspinator and Q-Bee flying off with the pod. The cat bot was waiting for the right moment when he shoot the enemy down. But none realized that where Waspinator and Q-Bee were going, was directly where Optimus took cover to realize…what action was unfolding.
"No, Cheetor!" Optimus shook his head off with worry, realizing what Cheetor was about to do was risky.
"Cheetor wait, that's too close to…" Aelita tried to stop the cadet but was too late…
"POooowwfrummm…" Then everything went into super slow motion, as Cheetor fired off what appeared to be a turquoise color missile. Optimus suddenly became pale and gasped upon seeing what happen and where the attack was going to hit.
"DIIIieeeeehhh!?/EEeeeeeehhh!?" Waspinator and Q-Bee panicked and yelped upon seeing what was gonna take them out…
But as luck had it, Pred unit managed to fly upwards to just let the missile miss them. Even more so not hit the pod being hauled out of there. "BOOM!" But where the missile went and exploded instead, was where Optimus was in the line of fire.
"GRRRAAAAUURRRRRHHH!?" The explosion was powerful that it destroyed the entire cliff and knock Optimus off to fall down.
"Huuuuugh!?" The other Lyoko Warriors that were busy gasped upon what they saw
"Commander!?" Cybershark called out when seeing what happen to Optimus after knocking Fractyl a few feet away.
"Oh no!" Cheetor cried out in shock when realizing what he's done. "Optimus!" Cheetor screamed out before dropping the weapon he used to put his leader in harms way.
Not wasting anytime, Cheetor transforms to Flight Mode to hurry after Optimus.
"We gotta go help!" Jackrabbit exclaim that they can't leave this as it is.
"No need to ask us twice!" Odd stated on agreement: a friend is in need of being helped.
All the Maximals and human children immediately cease the fighting. And quickly regroup to help their leader.
"Gurhaaa-Hahahahah…/Nurhahahaahh…" Megatron and Waspinator rejoin to laugh evilly at the expense of what befell the Maximals while leaving them behind to fly off. "Wahahahah…/NRaaaughh…" Even Crazy Blitzwing and roaring Raid Jango join the fun while the silent Fractyl took over the rear as they rejoin Megatron's group. Their destination was a tall and very familiar mountain ahead. But while the enemy fleas, the Maximal and Lyoko Warriors group has to fly slowly down where Optimus got caught in the blast fell.
"Guuuaghh!? Big Bot?" Cheetor yelped when descending to watch out for nearby cliff walls to call out Optimus. "Oh no..." Then Cheetor yelps upon spotting what appears to be Optimus' left hand and right leg sticking out from being buried under heavy fallen debris. The sparks seen by the expose limbs suggest Optimus took some damage…
"Cheetor, what happened?" Yumi asked what cause things to end like this.
"I…I tried to hit the enemy, but…I missed and hit Big Bot!?" Cheetor exclaim from a mixture of panic and confusion.
"With what, your Cheetah Blaster?" Sissi raise an eyebrow knowing such a basic attack wouldn't cause such a huge explosion.
"Um, no….a military powerful rifle launcher…?" Jackrabbit sheepishly admits that what the cat bot used was a different weapon.
"Cheetor!? You know a cadet isn't allowed to…" Cybershark was about to lecture Cheetor on the Axelon Crew's rules set on limit use of dangerous grade weaponry when…
"Can we skip things can focus on getting Optimus out!" Cheetor cuts out the matter as they still gotta help Optimus out.
Understanding that arguments can wait, everyone had to quickly work together to remove the extra debris.
AT THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN PEAK
The scene changes to show the storm raging on, but something else was seen atop of the mountain. A strange Cybertronian tower structure with a Predacon symbol above, crescent closed and open claws features from top to bottom. In the center was a device set to transfer energy but was left vacate. And it was shown to be station directly above a spot where metal claws seem to almost close in on the now place Maximal Stasis Pod. Waspinator was in Robot Mode using a small portable hover platform. There was a second mini hover platform being used by Q-Bee to assist with the other task. On the ground were the other Predacons at work as well, Sky-Byte, Knock Out and Iguanas who helped bring up what appears to be hover crates hauling…another Stasis Pod!? They unloaded it into one of the special constructed tall boulder towers that almost became a cone roof on the mountain. And apparently there were other Stasis Pods that almost encircle the area. We spot Fractyl, Raid Jango and Blitzwing performing a few works on removing Maximal Locking Chips…
"Here's the next pod!" Iguanas issue on having brought another prize to their collection. "I gotta say this has been brutal?" He wipes away the extra sweat off the forehead from working to get this task done.
"You wanna complain? I had to endure climbing up this steep mountain peak with equipment to setup, and nearly got scratch by pointed edges?" Knock Out remark on who has a right to complain with this kind of labor work and fear of ruining his paintjob.
"I don't see why Megatron doesn't just have us reprogram these pods on ground level? And instead we gotta do it up here?" Iguanas question the very bizarre idea: when they find pods they turn them into Predacons straight away but instead they delay the progress.
"Be patient, our lord is about to make history." Sky-Byte stated firmly on believing what Megatron is doing. "If everything goes well, the Predacon forces will be stronger then ever." The bot felt like this would be a new turning step to strengthen their side.
"NRraaaugh! Indeed, but before that….we had to look for a very special pod!" Raid Jango snarled a bit while explaining the matter of their search for a different pod in particular. "And you were worried that Megatron would not approve of your finding, Fractyl?" The guy looked to the bot who has it rough just fitting in with other Preds due to lacking a rougher and crueler nature.
"Yes, well…I reported what I found, and he became…intrigued." Fractyl stated on having done as always, report findings that may interest Megatron. "He says that with it, and the energy output that was researched, we can discover a way that Transmetal II technology can go even further." He was curious to see it, if Transmetal II can go beyond what was only limited during the Cyber-Raptor project.
"And we almost lost it due to flying through the storm." Cold Blitzwing remarked on the cold attitude on almost losing what was the key ingredient for the project. "Or those infuriating Maximals!" Rage Blitzwing took over to shout in anger on who they encounter. "Hahahah, but in the end, here were are!" Crazy Blitzwing took over to laugh off the subject altogether.
"Then let's hurry up, we're not even finished reprogramming all the gather pods." Sky-Byte instructs those as one of the commanders leading this group. "Oh, Lord Megatron!? He's making himself present! Standby!" He instructs the others to pay attention to what's about to occur…
Soon all eyes watch on what was about to occur next around this activity. And Megatron was about to take center stage of this action…
"And carved into this lofty peak, where tempest dwells, a noble birthplace." Megatron held his arms up while giving a monologue speech of a new action about to take place. That's when Megatron held a strange small sphere that was black, resembles a meteor with the little holes which glowed bright red: even had a golden lining pattern with some strange alien symbols. "IT IS TIME." Megatron boast loudly on what they need do next. "Grrrr…" He lets loose a low growl to look at Waspinator still observing the pod.
"Grrrruuooohhh!?" Waspinator yelped upon Megatron gave him the signal to begin but was delayed. "Yess, mighty Megatron. Yess!" Waspinator nods his head with his hands clutch together as if acting like a lowly servant.
"Why is he talking in such a manner?" Iguanas pointed at seeing the wasp act in such a weird way.
"I believe he saw something the humans refer to a drive in movie? About a lowly creature called an Igor severing a Doctor Frankenstien when about to conduct an experiment?" Knock Out rubs his chin to recall this action was from some movie the two insects saw.
"Waspinator, let us prepare things. Yes?" Q-Bee replied in getting ready on her end.
With a flip of a switch by Waspinator, it caused the hatch on the pod to release steam. As the Predacons were about to begin an experiment with the use of the Maximal Protoform inside.
BACK AT CHEETOR'S SIDE
"GRrruaarrrgh!?" Meanwhile, the scene reveals Cheetor struggling to move the large debris off Optimus.
"Aelita, can't you just remove everything at once?" Sissi thinks about someone that can remove this without breaking a sweat.
"I'm afraid my Creativity might touch Optimus, I've never tried to delete what others would be caught in." Aelita felt a bit concern if such a move was a good idea.
"Too bad we can't just blast our way through." William signs from thinking about another solution to try.
"Who be reckless enough to do that?" Ulrich raise an eyebrow that such an idea was too much to clear someone buried out.
"Hugh…/Brrissshm…" Then Odd's eyes flash as he saw some vivid versions before his eyes return to normal. "Um, guys…I think we better move far away!" The guy stated from realizing what is about to happen next.
"But what about Optimus?" Jeremie reminds Odd that they have yet to free Optimus from the debris.
"I just saw an attack coming and that Optimus is fine, trust me or else we'll get bruises!" Odd issue to point out what his glimpse into the future revealed.
The human children knew that Odd's Future Sight was important, so they heeded his words while the Maximals at work looked puzzled. Suddenly, there was a loud 'click' sound of a weapon loading. "POWFuuummm…" Then a loud fired shot was heard that attracted attention to make those turn around: then gasped in shock.
"AAAAaaaahhhhh!?" Soon screams were heard as the logical thing to do was jump away from….a yellow disc charge energy heading towards the debris. "KABOOM!" Then a loud explosion occurred when the energy disc impacted to blow up the debris.
"GAaaughhh!?" The Maximal group yelped upon skidding on the ground, just barely managing to survive a close call.
"Note to self, trust Odd's predictions…" Jackrabbit stated while on her backside on seeing what Odd saw came true: wish they listen ahead of time.
"Hey, take it easy with the power pizzas!" Cheetor issue to who was helping out, but could have given one a heads up alert.
The one that walked onto the scene in Robot Mode, was none other then Depth Charge. He observed the scene to put together what sort of things transpired…
"Looks like you all have trouble…" Depth Charge issue on knowing if Optimus was down, then his crew need help.
"Uuuagh!?" Cheetor moans under his breath, hating to admit that they needed help in concerns to getting Optimus out of the debris.
"Just swallow it up Cheetor, the main issue of getting Optimus free is done." Cybershark slowly rose up to pat the cadet's shoulder to not let such things distract him.
"Gurrgh…Nrruagh!?" Slowly Optimus began to regain himself, parts of him were a bit damaged from the explosion and falling debris issue. "Megatron…Fractyl…Blitzwing…Raid Jango…Q-Bee and Waspinator." Optimus muttered out the names of those that he last recall seeing of their enemies.
"And Rampage." Depth Charge clutch his right fist, wanting to eagerly await if his swore foe was among the Predacons.
"Er, no... We'd have remember him" Cheetor shrug off to shake his head to confirm if they remember seeing Rampage among Megatron's group in action now.
"Yeah, kinda hard NOT to notice a walking killer crab bot giant with plenty of destructive firepower around." Larkshot brushed himself as the other Maximals and children gathered while puzzled by the request.
"Why would you assume Rampage was here?" Yumi ponders Depth Charge thinking his swore foe was around.
"Simple. I've tuned my scanners to his spark." Depth Charge issue to state what he's done: as a close up revealed a black screen with green circles and red moving dot in the left eye area. "The reading is this way!" He issued from determining where Rampage's Spark was currently at this moment.
Without warning, Depth Charge leaps in the air, transforms into Flight Mode before taking off with his loud thrusting engines.
"Wait! You are not to engage them without back-up!" Optimus yelled out to halt Depth Charge from running in without a plan. "Do you hear me?...Depth Charge!" Optimus firmly glared and clutch his right hand: seeing the hard-headed rogue Maximal again going off without a plan while blinded by revenge. "Uuugh!?" But Optimus groans as he tried to move his left hand upwards to get a feel of himself and the damage he took.
"Too late, he's already flown the coop." Jackrabbit stated on Depth Charge having gone out of hearing reach.
"Big water-bat totally shined you!" Cheetor stated about what Depth Charge did from just going off, then doing his own thing without a second thought.
"Seems to be a trend." Optimus muttered under his breath from firmly seeing that such behavioral action can go along way: and not just be found on one bot. "You put that protoform at risk, Cheetor!" Optimus turns to sternly lecture out about the young cadet's action of endangering the Stasis Pod from that missile rifle stunt.
"Wha…?" Cheetor yelped upon being accused of such a thing while Optimus struggle to get up. "I was trying to save our circuits!" Cheetor tried explaining himself on what he was doing during that time.
"Even so. We don't trade one life for another." Optimus looked away to firmly lecture that even if they are endanger, attacking an enemy with a Stasis Pod without a plan risk destroying new life.
"But it was a blank." Cheetor protest to complain that the pod they saw got taken was a Protoform without a Maximal Spark place inside. "Right guys?" He looked to those that support him on the topic.
"That's true, during the struggle, our scans determine that the pod had….no Spark lifelines." Jeremie scratch his back head to admit that the pod was a Blank.
"So it's useless for the Preds to hold, right?" Odd thought that if there's no Spark, the Protoform won't become active.
"That's not quite true." Aelita objects that brought everyone to pay attention to her. "It's possible that the enemy could try to perform a surgical removal of a Spark and place it in the Blank Protoform. Like what we heard about Tigatron and Airazor, even Grimlock went through the process." She recalls the story of how it's possible to put the Spark of another active bot in a Protoform: it's possible for even old Autobots to be reconfigured into Maximals like what Grimlock sign up to do.
"And if it's one of the bots that hasn't gotten the blessing of being a Transmetal, there's no denying that could be their next step." Ulrich ponders the wicked idea to turn one of the Predacons that can't compete against Transmetals might want to get a new upgrade.
"Come on guys, I mean sure that sounds bad when you put it like that, but it didn't have the Spark of any Maximal." Cheetor tried to speak reason to the others that they are overthinking things. "Even if Megs is able to fire it up, it's just gonna be a Pred!" Cheetor continued to state that they didn't lose any Maximal to the enemy, so he sees no problem of a Protoform without a Spark about to become a Predacon.
"I can see how that might make sense…" Optimus stated on viewing the logic that if the Protoform had a Spark, they don't wish to lose a Maximal to the enemy. "But right now, Cheetor, it's innocent!" Optimus protest further that even without a Spark, a Protoform is like an innocent Transformer awaiting the day it's online: letting the Predacons twist it just doesn't sit well with him.
"He's right, it's almost like that time when I became Maximal X that I didn't know who was right or wrong. And I still be that guy if not for you guys. And Salvage wouldn't have come to be among us either." William explain from having some emotional understanding of someone trying to turn one's self into somebody they are not.
"Ahhh man…?" Cheetor felt bad in remembering that day, maybe he did go off a little bit.
"Guuurrgh!?" Optimus was trying to transform, but he was having a hard time as sparks flew out from the damage.
"Huuugh!?" Cheetor gasped when seeing Optimus was badly damaged, and was having a hard time transforming.
"Ugh….No good, I can't continue. I'm going for repairs." Optimus signs to admit he has to get fix since he's in no shape to fight.
"Optimus, maybe some of us should make sure that you get back safely." Jeremie suggest a means to help the commander who was badly damage.
"Jeremie's right sir, if the enemy sees you in such a shape, they might attack before reaching the base." Larkshot ponders to not believe any Pred would miss a chance to take out the Maximal Commander.
"Perhaps some of the Lyoko Warriors can assist and protect you?" Cybershark suggest the best way to insure their leader returns unharmed.
"I volunteer to scout ahead." Yumi raise a hand to offer her help.
"I'll help cover the flank side." William steps up to offer some aid.
"That leaves the two sides. Odd, you in?" Ulrich looked to Odd to see if he wants in or not.
"Nah, I'll stay here. Seeing the future can still come in handle." Odd decided he was better off helping to at least predict what troubles await.
"I'll go. I can kepep in contact with Aelita when she radios a Warp Gate back. We can try to leave signal post poles to strengthen communication." Jeremie suggestion what they do to help one another if one group has to leave the field.
"Alright, I suppose there's no way out of this." Optimus signs to admit he needs repairs before returning to duty. "You all get some back-up once Jeremie strengthens our communication signals, then assist Depth Charge." Optimus gave firm orders to those present to assemble those to assist Depth Charge who's gone ahead. "Grraaaarrrrgh!?" Optimus groans as he forcefully transforms his damage body to assume his Tank Mode.
After that, Optimus slowly drives himself off back to the Maximal Fort for repairs. Leaving Cheetor, Cybershark, Larkshot, Jackrabbit, Odd, Sissi and Aelita behind to follow the given orders.
"I'll try to get in contact, see of any nearby Maximals to help us." Cybershark stated on trying to start contacting any nearby allies.
"It's likely going to take some time before our backup arrives." Larkshot felt like such a careful measure would take a long time to finish.
"Backup... uninstall that." Cheetor protest to turn away from being the last seeing Optimus go and arrogantly protest against his given orders. "We can be more then plenty to handle this."
"But Cheetor, you heard Optimus say…?" Jackrabbit was about to say until she was cut off…
"I heard, but I don't agree, at this rate some of us aren't taken seriously." Cheetor "No matter what some people may think, this cat can handle a situation." Cheetor argued forth the manner of handling things just fine without calling for backup. "Reeeoooww!" Once that was settled, Cheetor transforms to Flight Mode before making a loud cat roar.
"Wait, Cheetor!" Aelita tried to stop the cadet, but he took off without a word.
"Oh boy, looks like we're about to play a little cat and mouse game. Question is, who's playing the lead cat?" Odd gently slap his forehead from seeing this rash action.
"We have to follow him, there's no telling how many enemies are lying in wait!" Cybershark stated in concern, Cheetor could be walking directly into an enemy stronghold.
Without delay, Odd summoned his Over-Board for him to ride with Cybershark, Aelita summoned her Angel Wings while Sissi summoned her Magic Carpet, and lastly Larkshot flew with Jackrabbit. The crew had to follow off to catch up to Cheetor as quickly as possible.
MEANWHILE
ATOP THE MOUNTAIN?
The scene shows a powerful storm was creeping near the tower structure sight. Waspinator flew the mini hover platform around the area with Q-Bee performing the other duties on sight. And we see Megatron steps forth to see the tower and by the pod an open area where the Protoform lays.
"The clone cells, Waspinator." Megatron called out to inform Waspinator of what he's ordering. "Infuse them into their new host." He firmly instructs the wasp bot what the next step was to be.
"Hmmm…Yes, Megatron." Waspinator claps his hands to slowly nod the head, agreeing to the demands of his master. "Horrmm…Nrrrumm…" Then Waspinator pulled down a lever to begin the next process. "DUNK!/DUUOOOwwww!?" But the level popped back up which knock Waspinator's head up and back down as he yelped from the painful act.
Soon the six metal claws began to react, before they soon STAB directly into the liquid solid state of the Blank Protoform. Then without warning, energy traveled through the blade claws through the ankle, waist and chest area, creating a purple energy sphere inside the pod bed. The protoform was wobbling as if a lifeless body was getting several jolts to cause a reaction.
"Ehhh, that looks painful?" Igaunas yelps from seeing such a barbaric action even to a Protoform.
"Well now, what we're attempting is base on what our dear Fractyl did, wouldn't you agree?" Knock Out exclaim to look to the one that helped one discover the process of this experiment.
"Hmmm….when Rampage enforce aid on performing a revival of Transmutate, I followed the study steps of how the Maximals revived Optimus." Fractyl hums to himself from recalling what research was used to put into practice.
"Nrrraurgh….too think, we put such useful means for our own goals. In creating new life." Raid Jango snarled off from knowing how ironic things are.
"Lord Megatron, we're ready for the next step." Q-Bee inform their leader on the next step.
"Good! Install the Transmetal Driver." Megatron sternly and firmly orders the next big step on what needs to be done.
"Oh…Yes, master." Waspinator yelps to turn, then reacts with a slow nod and lower clutch hands gesture: as if truly acting out an Igor role in this scene playout. "Gehehh-Gurhurhurhur-Nuurrrhh!?" Waspinator let loose a little evil laugh as he pilots the mini hover platform.
And on the mini hover platform grasped by a metal claw joint, was the small sphere making a low humming sound: this was the label Transmetal Driver. Soon upon approaching the two generator poles, the Transmetal Driver reacted before being pulled in and hovered like a center energy core.
"And now I bequeath you half a spark, the very core of a nightmare!" Megatron proclaim as he was soon holding forth…the Half-Spark of Rampage.
Slowly Megatron lowers the Spark Container down towards the glowing Protoform. Suddenly a strange purple ooze substance reaches out from the liquid Protoform to grasp the container: dissolving it, absorbing the Energon Crystal shards and placing the Half-Spark in the Transformer body.
"Huuuuugh!?" Megatron slightly yelped backwards as if surprise, not expecting such a reaction from a Blank Protoform. "Ah, hungry for life, Ye-es-s-s!" Megatron smirks with glee as he wiggled his free right hand at acknowledging the Protoform wishing to come online. "READY!" Megatron yelled out firmly to begin the final steps.
"NUurroohhh!" Waspinator nods as he began to pull up a lever, and press down a switch. "HURREEeeeeh!" Waspinator replied with glee when he press a button and took off.
"Begin final preparations…" Q-Bee tapped a few buttons on her device in the same manner.
At the very top of the tower structure, something was opening to reveal a metal lightning rod to catch the storm.
"STAND BY!" Megatron shouted the order to standby for the next action.
Soon the entire tower's top opened like a blossom as the lightning rod stuck the furthest up. All energy equipment was running to prepare everything that was about to come down.
"Nurhahah-Nurhahah…Nurhahahaaaaahhh!?" Waspinator inspects the action of the rod as the storm flash lightning, the wasp laughs with open arms as if marveling at the scene. "Organic Transmetal Unit…ON-LINE!" Waspinator flies down to announce the start-up process was now fully ready. "Ohohho-Hahahaarrrhh!?" The bug laughs off crazy as he got away.
"The final preparations are set…" Q-Bee announced as she began piloting the mini hover platform away. "The storm's energy is about to reach us…" She announced the coming storm, knowing it's time to clear away.
Within the center, the Transmetal Driver was being channel by purple electricity from the center. Preparing to transmit the signal and power… And from the lightning rod, sparks of loose lightning zapped against the metallic sphere top. The engines were roaring from the massive energy that was being gather. And we see the Half-Spark merge completely with the Blank Protoform, all things were set.
"From the Tempest's Fury, the Spark Ignites…Guhahahahaahh…" Megatron proclaims to announce these great moments that shall begin a new chapter on his goal. "To sire new life…Transmetal II life!" Megatron announces the transaction, held his arms upwards upon this final act. "GUR-Hahahah-Hahaaaa-Hahahahh…": He lets loose another mad maniacal laughter on doing the impossible…creating new Transformer Life.
Everything seems to be going well, but Megatron took just a step back. And then it happened, a bright flash occurred from the Transmetal Driver…That's when the metal blade claws released from the Protoform: as if finished and now unleashing something into the world. "POFRuvhhmm…" Then a bright purple flash of light wave implosion occurred which Megatron held his arms up to guard against. Wasn't long before the flash of light cease, and then….
"GRUUARRRROOHHH!" A low metallic roar was heard, before metallic claws touch the metal floor of the tower base. Then it did a familiar tap work on the floor, almost similar to a raptor's behavior?
"Ahhh-haaahaaahaaahaah, YESS." Megatron was in awe when having a look at what was present: and gleams with evil joy upon a successful work.
After Waspinator and Q-Bee set down the mini hover platforms, they rejoin the rest of the Predacons by Megatron. Soon at the bottom of the Transmetal Tower, just below where the Transmetal Driver was in place….something new was standing. And it was outside of an empty Stasis Pod, the Protoform that gain a Spark had just been active and was online, and in Beast Mode.
"ROOOARRUUARRRR!" However, what was seen was something unbelievable as it lets loose a raptor roar. It's very appearance was not quite a Fuzor, yet the Transmetal style was…different? The newe Transformer resembles a skeletal and mechanical Velociraptor with asymmetrical, cyborg-like detailing. The entire body's color was silver with some dark brown-magenta type plating on the legs, back top, and head. The raptor claws were machine style, and the tail had like a four blade grappler feature. And there was the glowing red optic eyes from the mechanical raptor head feature, and the expose sharp teeth. This here was truly a fearsome and deadly predator: and yet, it resembles…an Ex-Pred's old Beast Mode. "GRUUAOOrrrr!?" The new Transmetal II Raptor snarls at the brief flash of lightning before staring curiously at…Megatron.
"Welcome…" Megatron spoke forth to the new Transformer before him. "Ye-es-s-s, welcome Transmetal II Dinobot!" Megatron ushered with gleeful joy in welcoming an new, but 'old' comrade into the fold. "To a new body, a new mind, a new allegiance to the Predacons." He grasp his right fist to usher a dawn on having this NEW Dinobot brought back to join the Predacons…but with not a new body, but a new devotion to serve Megatron's army once again.
"Hmmmmm…?" Waspinator stood near Megatron, but slightly trembled at seeing a new…comrade.
"Hmmm-Ruuuagh!?" Dinobot II stares at noticing the reaction of those beside Megatron with curiosity.
"Urrrbhm!?" Waspinator gasped with fear, as he hid behind Megatron more. "W-W-Waspinator not LIKE new lizard-bot!" Waspinator muttered in terror: the old Dinobot was hard to deal with but this new one…is more terrifying.
"Was he like that?" Q-Bee whispered to Waspinator nearby, detecting the wasp bot was really worried in seeing this new Pred.
"Hmmm…Wazzpinator zzee lizard-bot izz much-much terrifying then before." Waspinator nods to acclaim his thoughts on seeing this Dinobot seem much scarier then the old one.
"I agree with the bugs." Depth Charge's voice was heard, which caused the Preds to slightly yelp, as they and the firm ones turn in the direction to see…who is here. "But then, I'm not crazy about any of you!" Depth Charge remarked about not favoring what any of the Preds even look like.
"Ah, hmm…we have a guest." Megatron exclaim with intrigue tone at seeing there was unexpected company. "A sterling opportunity to a...hmm, test your mettle, Dinobot." He hums to himself to state how this may serve to test how well a new Transmetal II version of Dinobot fairs in combat.
"RAarrrrr…" Dinobot II lets loose a low silent snarl in response…
"Gehahahaahh…" Megatron let loose an evil laugh at loving how things come into place before even needing to prepare them later.
"And to think I was wondering who to shoot first!" Depth Charge remarked with a cocky attitude before aiming his Shark Launcher and Manta-Ray Blaster forth. "POwwfruvhmmm…" The missiles were fired that went directly at Megatron's party.
"BAM!/GRUUArrgh!/Guurrrhhh!?" An explosive impact knock a yelping Megatron, Waspinator away from the scene by Dinobot II.
"Quick! Get him!" Sky-Byte tried to give the order to the rest, but… "POWfruvhmmm…" During the distraction, Depth Charge fired antoher round of shots. "Uh-oh?" Sky-Byte yelps wide eyes, knowing this will hurt.
"BAM!/GRRaauarrghhh!?" The second explosive knocked the other Preds off to the other side, leaving just Dinobot II by himself.
"GRROOURRRHHHH!" Dinobot II roars with aggression, then leaps at Depth Charge. "SLASH-SLASH-SLASH-SLASH…" And started to claw across the big Maximals's chest with the rapid legs and sharp blade claws that force Depth Charge backwards.
"Urrragh-AAurgh!?" Depth Charge yelped upon each blow dealt to him was really fierce. "Guuuagh!?" Then the big bot was pin with his back to the ground as he yelped.
"GROouur-Rrrrrrrr…" Dinobot II growls as he snarls upon his pin prey…
"Your spark... it stinks of Rampage!" Depth Charge exclaim with some surprise but annoyed tone in recognizing Rampage's Spark even if it's exhibited in a new Transformer.
"Perhaps..." Megatron proclaim as all eyes saw he stood up after recovering from that brief attack earlier to comment Depth Charge's observation. "But it is the spark that keeps on sparking, unlike yours!" Megatron protest that as a part of Rampage's Spark functions, Depth Charge will not be so lucky. "Dinobot, you may start the feast." He rubs his hands to await his new Predacon to devour this enemy.
"Hey!" Then a loud voice was heard, as all eyes turn to spot…Cheetor on the scene. "Let me add some hot Cheetor pepper to spice things up!" Cheetor issue off to say in getting ready to interfere
That's when Cheetor put his Cheeta-Hands together to fire a green energy shot.
"POWHH-POOWHH!" Soon Cheetor fired his charged arm shots at the targets.
"BAM!/DRRruuoooohhh!?" Waspinator got hit as he was spiraling all over the area.
"Where did the other Maximal come from? What's wrong with our security?" Sky-Byte protest that their security is lacking that they got two Maximal surprise encounters.
"The storm's interfering. We didn't see these two come in." Fractyl stated on the issue on what's interfering with their instruments.
"Then you didn't see us come in!" Jackrabbit spoke up as she was seen directly behind Iguanas.
"BAM!/GRAAAaughh!?" Iguanas was shot across the area screaming from the explosive impact: then Larkshot and Cybershark rushed around to catch the other Preds off guard.
"Hey guys! You made it!" Cheetor cheered in seeing some backup showed up.
"We'll talk after we get you both out!" Cybershark stated towards Cheetor and Depth Charge.
"The children are already breaking the enemy's focus!" Larkshot stated on what was going down at this moment.
Then without warning, the entire ground shake before virtual rocks spiked that scatter the other Preds. That allowed Odd and Sissi to fire a barrage of attacks above that caused more confusion while the other ground Maximals picked off the others or had them find cover.
"Grrrr…YOU FOOLS!" Megatron growls in annoyance that his forces are getting split apart.
"Save something for you, Megs!" Cheetor remarked as he prepares another Cheeta Blaster action.
"BAM-BAM!/Urgh-Arugh!?" Megatron managed to endure the shots as best he could with his guarding. "BAM-BAM-BAM!/GUrgh-Grragh…GAARRRRRH!?" But try as Megatron could, eventually the attacks were too much that knock him off balance.
Soon Cheetor leaped off the cliff side to land where Depth Charge was pin down by the Transmetal II Raptor. At the same time, Cybershark ,Larkshot, and Jackrabbit quickly join up with Cheetor to even the odds. That's when the other side began opening fire to deal damage…
"GRaaaurrrhhh!" But Dinobot II just let loose a low snarl in annoyance against the attacks. "GRRARRRUHH!" Then he charged through to break the attacking position on the Maximal side as they yelped back. "Huurrgh-Huuarrrh!?" Then Dinobot II tilts it's head as if inspecting those present: which caused those to sense…something familiar about this enemy? "GRRAAARRRRH!" Then without warning, Dinobot II roared before swatting it's tail to knock the enemy side across the field.
"WAaaaaaaahhhh!?" Cheetor and Jackrabbit yelps during the toss in the air action.
"WOooooaaahhh!?" Cybershark and Larkshot also yelped across the air thrown scene with the others.
"GUUuagh!?" Then the Maximals that screamed lands down hard on the backside behind cover with a kneeling Depth Charge. Soon Aelita, Odd and Sissi rejoin those after witnessing what happen that their friends just…froze?
"IS THAT…" Cheetor got up to stare at Depth Charge, then back at the metallic raptor. "Dinobot?!" Cheetor asked completely beyond words to believe: that Dinobot was here when last seen his Spark expired.
"That creepy monstrous metal raptor thing? You sure it's not just resembling him?" Odd was a bit puzzled in how anyone could misjudge one metal raptor for another.
"I was stumped too, but….the way it moved?" Jackrabbit stated to say with an equally puzzled and concern expression. "It was just like what our Dinobot did. No questions asked." The girl knew that what they saw, can tell immediately what their old friend use to do.
"But Dinobot is…" Aelita was conflicted on knowing Dinobot couldn't be back, could he be?
"You don't suppose maybe Megatron tried to revive him like what happen with Optimus and Trans-Mutate, right?" Sissi thought about what was previously used to bring back certain bots that were believed dead.
"But so much time has passed, and it was confirm that Dinobot's Spark was not around this world. So how?" Cybershark explain the logical reason but could not piece how the enemy still achieve this action.
"If it's not who you know, then I'll tell you what it is. Some kind of clone." Depth Charge expressed that whoever that was, is just a clone version of the original.
"A clone, really?" Larkshot asked shocked upon what they heard now.
"Trust me, I heard plenty to know the Preds were using some cloning cells, probably someone you all know." Depth Charge issue from learning what the enemy did was use a blank Protoform to bring forth new life from a fallen Transformer. "Way I see it, it's more then just a normal clone. Trans-metalized with that alien unit over there." Depth Charge explained as all eyes stared up at the Transmetal Driver placed inside the experimental tower structure.
"Now, there's some technology in the wrong hands."" Cheetor issue from knowing if the Preds use such technology, the Beast Wars will be over for the Maximals.
"Well if it's that bad, then we need to grab it, any ideas?" Odd ponders to think of the only solution is to take what the enemy feels so much pride in.
"Why not see the future and tell us what might help us?" Sissi issue that Odd could help if he foresees what's coming.
"GRROOuurrrhhh!" Dinobot II roared as it suddenly underwent a transformation from Beast Mode…to Robot Mode. It place the front raptor arms down, then it's head was shifted inwards and upwards, along with the rear legs moved up. The raptor arms became the legs, the raptor tail was attach to the rear side, very much some exoskeleton frames remain the same silver and metallic theme color. The raptor head became apart of the chest-plate with some closed sphere located under the lid, the raptor legs acted as shoulder pads and the feet became the actual robot hands. Lastly was the head that popped out, it resembles Dinobot but with a light tan purple metallic face, a silver helmet style with a black line band around the forehead and over the center head. The other difference was the optic eyes were bright orange with a yellow pupil center, and the left eye had a mechanical optic scope. Very much this version of Dinobot was like a skeletal hybrid of organic and Cybertronian life, if the old version was a deadly warrior…this one is even deadlier.
"Woah, he really DOES look like Dinobot." Jackrabbit yelps upon seeing the newly transformed Dinobot II. "I don't know if Rattrap be happy or worried to see this new Dinobot or not though?" She didn't know what Rattrap would do if he came face to face, with this new Dinobot.
"Hmmmm-Nrrruaarrrhhhh!?" Dinobot II hums to himself with interest as he adjust his new standings. Then from the left optic eye, came a bright red light ray pointing down and then he raised himself upwards. "Grrruummmm?" Dinobot seem curious of his new body transformation, as he looked to a claw hand which one red light pass one of the talon blade fingers. "POW!/BREAK!" But then an eerie noise was heard, followed by a rainbow color sphere of energy which was fired and broke the talon nail in the red light's path. "GRRARRRGH!?" Dinobot II cried out in pain, apparently unaware of controlling his newfound abilities in Robot Mode or even a newly upgraded Optic Beams attack.
"GET DOWN!" Cybershark shouted to those that were still peaking.
"BOOM!/Aaaahhh!?/WAaaaaaH!?" Cheetor and Jackrabbit yelped when the earlier sphere shot fired exploded close to where the Maximals hid for cover.
"That attack seems WAY more powerful then what our old Dinobot did with his Optic Beams!? It's like…an Optic Sphere Blast?" Larkshot was almost completely left speechless by such a more destructive range attack weapon.
"Shhh…" Aelita, Odd and Sissi hushed the Maximals when Dinobot II began to focus his eyesight target ability.
"Grugrugrugru…Nrrruhhmmm…?" Dinobot II snarls as it's now on the hunt for any targets nearby for his red pinpoint light to lock-on before firing. The red light was nearing the cover spot as Depth Charge ducked but…
"Huuugh!?" Cheetor pops himself up to see what's going on…
"RUN!" Odd screamed from what's coming next.
"POWvh…/BAMMM!" Without warning, Dinobot II fired a charged Optic Sphere Shot that blew up an area of where the Maximals hid.
"Guuuagh!?" Cheetor yelped upon landing across the field after surviving that blast earlier.
Then just ahead, was the two familiar mini hover platforms that were used earlier…
"Guurrgh!?" Cheetor immediately got onto the mini hover platform and tried to steer the controls. "Weeehee-Eeeeeeeee!" Cheetor cheered as he flew around the field on the hover platform.
"CLANK!/GRUuuuagh!?" During Cheetor's joyrides, he managed to catch and knock a yelping Dinobot II off balance.
"That's distracting him! Someone get the device!?" Cybershark issue the order, knowing they can't have more Transmetal IIs if they are struggling with one of them now.
"Aelita's on the move now." Sissi stated on how left just now to perform the task.
"Hugh…?" Odd yelps because his eyes flash briefly, before they dim down after. "Oh no….Aelita….She can't touch it!?" The boy yelped upon learning something bad from a future glimpse.
At this moment, Aelita used Angel Wings to fly close to the tower to flap just in front of the Transmetal Driver caught in the electric current.
"This is it, I just have to carefully remove it…" Aelita slowly held her hands forth glowing with her unique Energy Spheres for protection when she touch the driver. "TRrisisshh…./AAAAaaaaahhhhhh!?" But without warning, a strange unknown energy from the sphere traveled to wrap around the girl. "This.…PAIN….AARRRRRughh!?" She screamed from when Aelita was unable to fight against the alien energy affecting her….
"AAAAHHHHHH/POWWWfruvhmmm…." Suddenly, an angelic voice was heard echoing followed by an invisible burst wave that spread across the mountain. The strange energy also made contact with the collected Stasis Pods, while nothing has change….a strange flow of energy circulated around them which sank into the Protoforms. But currently, all eyes watch as Aelita fell onto the ground nearby, completely passed out.
"What happened?" Jackrabbit asked surprised by an unexpected result. "All she did was touch that device and then…?" Neither her nor the others understood what it was that just happen to Aelita and the Transmetal Driver.
"Figure it out later." Depth Charge cuts the topic short while keeping a focus stare. "The enemy's getting their second wind? They'll try to grab the Key!" Depth Charge pointed to realize they got bigger problems that are present.
At this moment, the only Preds that got their second wind was Iguanas, Sky-Byte and Raid Jango while Q-Bee was picking Waspinator up. The Maximals provided some cover fire from above which Cybershark and Jackrabbit took the last mini hover platform to get some air time. While the battle below was going on, Cheetor hovered up to where the Transmetal Driver was station. Reaching with a cheeta right hand, grasped the sphere which released a slight charge of energy.
"Got it! Depth Charge, go deep!" Cheetor called out to someone as he held up the Driver.
"Hurgh-Nrrrugh!" Depth Charge immediately ran to the left, leaps up to catch the toss Transmetal Driver… "Gguuagh!?" The bot hit the ground behind cover on his backside, but Depth Charge did it.
"Mission accomplished here!" Sissi called out as she rode her Magic Carpet when she and Odd reach Aelita to gently put her on the carpet.
"Grrrrrr…." Megatron lay on the floor as he growls to pound his left fist on the ground in annoyance: the Maximals and their allies have again foiled things. "Trusvhmm…/POWwvhmm…" Taking out frustration, Megatron aim a charged Tail-Grappler to fire a purple shot upwards….at Cheetor's spot.
"BAM!/GAAAaugh!?" The attack exploded to knock a yelping Cheetor off the mini-platform… "TRrrisssvhmm…/GAH-HAAAAUH!?" But instead, Cheetor was caught within the energy current of the Transmetal Tower's generator where the Driver was once kept. "GWAAAAAAugh-AAAAHHHH-AAAAAAAAAHHHH!?" Cheetor was letting off a constant scream as untold energy was currently surging through the spinning body. "OHHHh-AAAhh-OOHHHH!?" Cheetor was unable to stop, it's like he was caught within the experiment…
"Cheetor's in trouble!?" Jackrabbit cried out when she and the others realized what happened. "We gotta pull him out of there!" She knew that if Cheetor was stuck in that device, there's no telling what could happen.
"Leave that to me…I have the best grip!" Cybershark issue from preparing his grappler hand to reach for the cadet while Jackrabbit pilots the hover mimi platform close….
"The Maximals are in sight! I got just the thing to blast them sky high…." Iguanas issue when he and Sky-Byte realize the enemy was distracted, as he pulls out a special landmine.
"Oh no you don't!" Larkshot protest as he prepares to attack: or so he thought. "GAAAuyrgh!?" He was restrain in an arm-lock by Raid Jango who flew behind to catch the swallow bot off guard.
"NAarrrr….Not so fast!" Raid Jango snarled in preventing anymore interference.
"Quickly, attack the Maximals while I secure the Key!" Sky-Byte issued the order as the two ran closer to the tower.
"Not with us!" Then Sissi used her genie-like abilities to throw some sparkle dust from her ghost-tail to blind the Preds on the ground.
"Laser Arrow!" Odd then slipped in, fired an energy arrow without warning.
"Topvhm…/Grraagh!?" That stunt knock the landmine out of Iguanas' grip to fall behind him and Sky-Byte.
"Beep, beep, beep, beep-beep-beep…/KABOOM!" Too bad it triggered the landmine with a flashing light and a powerful explosion afterwards.
"GAAAAurrghh…GAAARrrrughh!?" Iguanas and Sky-Byte screamed from being blown upwards pass the children and to the tower structure.
"Hugh…?" Larkshot and Raid Jango yelped upon what was heading their way.
"Incoming!?" Jackrabbit screamed when she noticed the disturbance while Cybershark was unable to look away from reaching Cheetor.
"CLASH…./AAAAAAAArrrrhhh!?" At the unfortunate events, Sky-Byte ad Iguanas collided to crash Larkshot and Raid Jango, which they crashed against Cybershark and Jackrabbit who were thrown off the mini platform upon impact. "TRrriissssvhhmmmm…./GYAAAAAaaaahhhhhaaaahhhhh!?" Now three Maximals and three Predacons were getting a jolt zap of the same energy that was coursing through poor Cheetor: now everyone is stuck together.
At this moment, Dinobot II slowly looked back, he held his arm up from seeing a bright light from the tower… Megatron also yelped as he ducks down from realizing a major chain reaction was about to unfold. Depth Charge watched in horror before he put his head down and hands covered the Transmetal Driver to brace for the worse. The human children were near the sight rescuing an unconscious Aelita with shock before Sissi summon her Magic Carpet, and Odd used his Shield for what's about to come and had to guard his friends.
"GRRRRRAAAAARRRRRGHHHHHAAAAAHHHHH…/TRUSSSvvhmmm…." Within the massive screams of those trapped, a sudden bright sphere engulf the tower and spread across the mountain top before… "BOOOMVVHMMMMMM!" A gigantic explosive of Energon wave pulse exploded, knocking everyone off the destroyed mountain peak and scattered far off around different areas.
"WAAAAAAahhhhh!?" Depth Charge screamed as he plunge downwards… "GUUAGH!/CLUNK!?/BANG!?" He hit the ground hard to yelp and skid to crash the backside against a large rock boulder pattern.
"WOOOOOoaaaaahhhh!?" Then Odd and Sissi were screaming when plummeting to the ground… "BASH…/UUuuagh!?" The Magic Carpet crashed that tossed Odd off while Sissi held Aelita when the three skid towards Depth Charge's spot.
"Uuuuugh!?" Depth Charge slowly shook his head to regain himself while looking like his body barely survived an explosion. "AAAaugh!?" Then Depth Charge braced his arm up to protect himself from the falling debris.
When all the debris was over, a loud metallic object was heard. That's when Depth Charge reached down to pick up to inspect…a cheetah pattern chest-plate. But it was broken and badly damaged, and if this was the only fragment left of Cheetor then…the grim thought came to anyone's mind.
"Cheetor…? Jackrabbit…? Cybershark…? Larkshot…?" Depth Charge muttered upwards in realizing those caught in the blast…didn't make it out of the explosion.
"Ugh….my aching tail?" Odd was slowly coming around along with Sissi after their crash. "Oww….I'm almost fearful my Shield couldn't withstand a blast that size?" Odd rubbed his aching body, feeling like a blast that powerful nearly got to him. "Everyone accounted?"
"Hmmm…" Aelita slowly was recovering enough to wake up and saw everyone's state. "What happen…Why are you all so…?" The girl began to realize that, the number was off of who was among their group. "Where are the others?" Aelita then asked the next question at this moment.
"Ohhh, my head hurts….I can't recall what happen?" Sissi held her head from feeling that something really hit her hard.
"Being that close to the blast, yeah it jumbles the mind? Depth Charge, do you know?" Odd rubbed his aching head from having a hard time recalling from being near a blast range.
"I'm sorry…" Depth Charge looked away while he showed…what was in his hand.
"Hugh!?" The children gasped when they spotted the cheetah pattern chest-plate. But then Aelita's hand touched something nearby, and the group found other pieces from the Maximals. There was a shark-tail grappler that belongs to Cybershark, a split wing edge portion belonging to Larkshot, and even a broken rabbit ear piece from Jackrabbit.
"No…?" Aelita softly muttered as she clutch the three pieces of their Maximal friends.
It was truly a sad moment, that in times of war….casualties are expected. But the hardest thing, was never knowing if someone would lose their life during battle. And right now, this war has taken something, and the Maximals will need to know no matter how grim the truth is….
MEANTIME
AT THE MAXIMAL FORT
The scene opens to reveal that Optimus was working to give himself some self-repair work. The big Maximal Commander was looking much better then before, and was working on the right bottom foot area. During the time, Rhinox, Longrack, Jack-Tool, Trans-Mutate were seen coming to approach Optimus who prefer working just outside the fort's Blast Doors. With Optimus was Jeremie, William, Yumi, and Ulrich providing a few small repairs in areas that the big bot can't reach.
"Everything alright?" Trans-Mutate asked from how things appear to be going for Optimus.
"Well, we managed to fix a few things. Thanks to Jeremie's help." Yumi stated on their effort to repair Optimus to their best ability.
"Of all days for the CR Chamber to get a tune-up at this time and with Dive-Bomb taking medic bots to help other field teams, really was bad timing." William signed on how things seem to be going today.
"By the time we're done and the CR Chamber is ready, Optimus won't need it." Ulrich stated the honest fact on what will be ironic by the time they are done.
"It's the thought that counts." Optimus stated on being glad that the children are helping him get fixed up faster. "How about the base's systems to reach our allies?" Optimus asked from liking a report on contacting other Maximals.
"Communications are still shut and your systems aren't much better." Rhinox approach to inform the commander of their problems both reaching allies and Optimus' condition. "You're in no condition to pick a fight." Rhinox firmly reminds Optimus that if another encounter of the enemy happens, the Maximal Commander will have trouble.
"Fight's been picked." Optimus firmly stated as he continued his repair works: knowing sometimes, they don't look for fights, fights come to them.
"Beep-Beep, Beep-Beep…" Suddenly, alarms were going off that alerted everyone of a situation.
"Something's approaching the fort?" Jack-Tool yelps from the alarms that were going off. "Is it an enemy attack?" He asked from knowing this happens if a Predacons was near.
"Look, up there in the dark sky! Something's approaching!" Longrack alerts from seeing what was going on from above.
Soon the Auto-Guns outside the fort activate their security spotlights. The system was reading an incoming approach, unable to determine if it's friend or foe. Then something was flying in, it was Depth Charge in Flight Mode. He immediately transforms during mid-landing to approach…
"Guuagh!?" Depth Charge yelps upon landing, still a bit damage from what happen before.
"Woah-Woah…." Then riding on a Magic Carpet, was Sissi steering it with Odd and Aelita before… "Guuuagh!?" Before they too had a rough landing while slowly picking themselves up.
"Hugh! Aelita!?" Jeremie gasped upon horror to rush and help the injured girl up…
"Jeremie…" Aelita weakly said as she stood up with Jeremie resting her arm on his.
"Easy now…/Hang in there Odd." Yumi went to help Sissi while Ulrich and William went to help Odd together: they never seen the gang in such shape.
While seeing the ones that had arrived, and were badly damaged and the children having barely survived bruises…something was not right in the number of those that return? There were some missing from the count of those Optimus last took note?
"Depth Charge, what happen? Where's Cheetor, Cybershark, Longrack and Jackrabbit?" Optimus asked Depth Charge of what happen that members of his crew are not present.
There was silence, the only one who did something was Depth Charge who reach behind his back. Within the left hand, Depth Charge tossed something which Optimus caught: a piece of material armor from Cheetor. When Optimus looked back in surprise, he didn't understand until…
"Cat was tough...he and the others went out fighting." Depth Charge exclaim to look upwards to admit that Cheetor and the rest went off fighting to the bitter end.
With that said, Depth Charge was seen walking pass Rhinox, Longrack, Jack-Tool, and Trans-Mutate to head into the fort. Then if that wasn't hard enough Aelita's group revealed the other parts that came from Cybershark, Larkshot and Jackrabbit, which caused the other Lyoko warriors to gasp in horror. The Maximals looked back to Optimus with concern, because upon the Maximal Commander's face…was a shocked surprise look. Optimus looked up in the air from absorbing the truth: they lost members on their side.
INSIDE THE MAXIMAL FORT
Soon we see Depth Charge walking along a cavern hall path. But he stops to look over an edge, then approaches a cliff. Depth Charge leaps off the cliff, only to land on a large ledge leading to another cavern, directly in sight of the Ark. Inside the below cavern area, was some equipment setup with storage computers and a center platform circle generator stand. Depth Charge then placed something on the center device…the Transmetal Driver.
"Function scan, all variables." Depth Charge request for the Driver to be scan to help one understand the sphere's design purpose.
Soon a blue light emits from the center generator platform, which made the black sphere hover above. Then blue pillars of light before green dots and purple rings appeared.
"Data unknown. Device is of alien manufacture." Male computer answered as the purple rings turn red to scan and identify the unknown alien object to it's best knowledge. "Functions has been altered by Megatron." The system explained that the device was altered when Megatron had acquired it. "Transmetal qualities enhanced beyond known parameters." The male computer gave a diagnostic readout on what the Transmetal Driver was capable of performing.
Those present heard the analysis on what the Transmetal Driver was capable of performing. Unlike the regular Transmetals, the driver can enhance them from version one to version two. And since Transmetals and Fuzors are the affect from the Alien Planet Buster's destruction mix in a Quantum Surge encounter, they are somewhat…one of the aliens' advanced techs. So it's possible the Driver is also connected to the mysterious aliens but was altered to help further enhance Transmetal Transformers to be a step closer...to the powerful unknown aliens that tried to destroy both Maximal, Predacon, even life on the planet. Once the scan was done, the light faded as Depth Charge carefully picked up the device. But during the whole event, none knew that a little black spider…watch and heard everything.
"Has it, now?" Depth charge exclaim in a soft quiet tone: understanding the purpose Megatron needed the Driver to create more powerful Transmetal Transformers like when he encounter Dinobot II. If just one Transmetal II was dangerous, a whole army could tip the balance of the war for anyone's favor.
Depth Charge slowly turns to walk out of the cavern while the black spider, aka Blackarachnia, creeped backwards to not be spotted.
"Never again, Megatron..." Depth Charge glared his eyes when he held the black sphere in the right hand with an upset tone.
Soon Depth Charge tossed the Transmetal Driver off the cliff down to prevent Megatron from ever using such a thing ever again. And when Depth Charge turns around to leave, he never saw made an Energon Thread Webbing to leap off the cliff. The she-spider transforms to Robot Mode and grabs the black sphere with her right pincer hand. The Energon Webbing just yank around the waist area, just in time to stop any from touching in the lava beyond since the Maximals are setup inside a volcano.
"Hmmmm?" Blackarachnia lifts the Transmetal Driver to her face: sounding very curious on what was just presented to her.
OUTSIDE THE MAXIMAL FORT
The scene changes outside as the storm continues brewing. But we focus on Optimus, Rhinox, Longrack, Jack-Tool, Trans-Mutate, even the whole group of the Lyoko Warriors, as the news of what's happen still hangs over.
"I can't believe it, they're….gone?" Artemis spoke through Trans-Mutate, feeling the news was too much that she had to speak forth.
"But that can't be true?" Yumi protest that it's just so unthinkable to believe.
"Your certain of what happen?" Ulrich asked from wanting hard facts with evidence, this was no time for jokes.
"I wish we could agree, but our noggins are still ringing from that big explosion. We barely made it out as it is with Depth Charge having his shield manta ray fins on his backside and my Shield." Odd explain himself as best he could, that when it all went down, only those with protection equipment build-in or summon ability skill made it through.
"Then that means…anyone without a good protection has…" William was almost unable to finish, but…
"Almost zero chances of surviving?" Longrack felt bad that the science behind that is not a lie, too bad they wish it was so.
"Cheetor...Jackrabbit…Cybershark…Larkshot…" Optimus muttered the name of those that were apart of their crew… "This is my fault, Rhinox, Longrack, Jack-Tool, everyone..." Optimus looked to his Maximals and the children, feeling heavily responsible right now. "I was rough on Cheetor, so he...so he tried to prove something...and the others tried to help, but…" Optimus exclaim to look away and at the ground, feeling he pushed Cheetor to prove his worth to the group that ended badly.
"Don't give up hope." Rhinox exclaim to help boast Optimus' spirit that seem broken. "Me and the others can try and get long range scanners on-line." Rhinox exclaim from knowing if they can get a signal out, they may still find who's missing.
"Rhinox is right, maybe they did survive?" Jack-Tool stated in trying to think of a second option then dismissing the subject. "You said Larkshot was with them, doesn't he have a protective shield function for his wings?" The bot tried to think of what might be a way that the others survive.
"That's right, if he protected the others…maybe they might be okay?" Jeremie held his chin to remember and thinks that's an oversight they forgot to factor in.
"Do you….really think so Jeremie?" Aelita asked from wanting to believe there's hope.
"Cheetor was the one we meant that day, we can't give up on him." Jeremie stated on wanting to believe the first bots they meant has not been destroyed as everyone believes.
"Jackrabbit maybe young, but…It be a bad day if she was not around." Jack-Tool felt concern for the youngest Maximal cadet, he feels responsible for not keeping her out of getting into trouble.
"Cybershark and Larkshot, this place wouldn't be the same if we lost friends now…?" Sissi felt sadden to think they never see the others again, after having lost some during the war it's too heartbreaking.
"Then please….try to see what you can learn. The rest of you get some treatment." Optimus slowly nods while asking those to do what they can and help Odd, Sissi and Aelita get better.
"Understood, lets go…" Rhinox nods to that and tilt his head to signal the others to follow.
Once Rhinox and Jeremie's group left to head inside, Optimus remain outside to continue to look outward. A small slither of hope that maybe if they have yet to confirm the termination of their own…Then maybe there's hope that those missing still function, at least for now…?
MEANWHILE
AT THE MOUNTAIN PEAK SIGHT
The scene changes to show the dark stormy clouds, as we zoom to find….the top of the mountain around Pred territory. The sight of the Transmetal Tower appeared to be destroyed and scattered, and many rubble and debris were left in it's place. The eerie storm appeared to change to a bright orange lightning, as if something unknown was occurring. But something was seen moving around in the center…
"Gugh…Hugh…?" Someone was seen, aching in pain to stand up from the debris… "Paaaant-Paaant…Ugh!?" We soon spot what appears to be…Cheetor: struggling his feet on the rubble field. He seem badly damaged, a missing chest-plate right side and a missing silver right Cheeta head-hand. "Ah-Hah…Uuugh!?" Cheetor yelped to clutch his left leg, as if feeling pain…
"Owwww…." Then another voice was heard nearby which alerted Cheetor's awareness.
"Ugh…hugh? Jackrabbit?" Cheetor spoke between the pain while recognizing who's voice that was.
Coming out behind Cheetor was apparently the other Maximals. Jackrabbit struggled to push herself up and used one of her Rabbit-Ear Swords she had left to help her walk: she was damaged, her chest-plate was shatter and cracked, and appeared to have lost a foot. Cybershark was seen pushing himself to slowly walk and clutch his right arm: he was damaged, his shark features seem completely torn, and lost a fin on the helmet. Larkshot was last seen crawling before pushing himself up: he appeared to have suffered damaged on his arms, chest-plate and lost both his wings that were broken off. These bots appear to have undergone a major suffering of damage that it's lucky they survived.
"Here…?...Aaahhhh…pant-pant…." Jackrabbit spoke to call out to Cheetor while panting from her slow movement. "I'm low on luck, lost…lucky rabbit foot…heh-heh, eh…?" She tried to make a joke, but she had a hard time at this moment.
"Urrgh…pant-pant…Wha….happen? Oooh?" Cybershark pants and aches from his arm that he felt hurts when trying to move it.
"Pant-pant….I think I…shielded us, but just barely…got it?" Larkshot panted from looking tired out and bruised, as he could barely lift his arms. "And…ugh…we're not alone!" He stated from looking behind them from realizing what else was wrong.
Then something was seen pushing off some small debris to reveal more bots buried, except these were Predacons. Sky-Byte was seen having lost his entire grappler fin arm, and was a complete mess with damages all over. Iguanas was damaged that parts of his scales were burned and cracked, and had a broken optic eye. Raid Jango was damaged to where much of the plating was torn off, plus a busted jetpack and his whickers. These guys looked about as badly damage as the Maximals were.
"Urgh…pant….that….could have….gone better?" Sky-Byte groans from looking like he got hit by something big, heavy, and painful.
"Nuurrgh….You should have…pant-pant…Watch where you aim!" Raid Jango panted from the dust cough at who started the problem in the first place.
"Urrrrgh…blame…those kids!" Iguanas protest that it's not his fault his own mine exploded when they were close by. "Hrrrugh….great, they survived!?" Iguanas groans to see the damaged Maximals among them.
"Hrrrrmm….you…..seriously…wanna rumble Preds!?" Cheetor exclaim as he tried to make himself look tough. "Cause we maybe down, but not…" The young cadet was about to say a famous line to boast moral.
"TRrriss-REEOOOWWW!?" Then a loud glitch noise mix with a wild cat roar was heard from a spark twitch on Cheetor…
"Guuuagh-AAAaugh!?" Cheetor yelped from the sudden reaction, as he huffs down a bit… "Owww…?" Cheetor moans from the pain, uncertain what happen.
"Um, Cheetor…what was that?" Jackrabbit raise an eyebrow, as everyone felt confused by that strange action.
"Hmmm…not sure? Sounded like…a wild beast ringing in my ears?" Cheetor exclaim on how to express what it felt like to him.
"Well…looks like your feeling worse then us…So we'll just…" Sky-Byte was about to say something, as he tried to take aim with his slightly busted chest lens for a blast…
"TRrissss-GROOAARRRRRRR!?" Then a loud glitch mix with a wild shark roar came from a spark twitch by Sky-Byte.
"GYYAAAAaurrghhh!?" Sky-Byte yelps suddenly by that reaction that shock his Pred pals before huffing a bit. "Hugh…wha-wha-what happened to me?" The guy was literally confused, unsure what happened just now.
"TRrisisss-GRRAAARrrr!?/ROOOAARRRRrhhh!?/WAARRRRrrrr!?…" Then loud glitches with sparks occurred, as different wild beast roars came from the twitching bots.
"WAAAAAaaauughhh!?/HAAaahhh-AAhhhh!?…/OOoohhhhhh!?" Both Maximal and Predacon reacted as if feeling untold pain before huffing it out from the exhausting experience.
"Wha….just happened?" Iguanas asked from sounding confused by what transpired here.
"NRaaarrgh….Something…is affecting us!?" Raid Jango cried out in a snarl, uncertain what cause such a reaction.
"But how….from where?" Larkshot asked puzzled, what was causing the bots to feel a weird affect: some bizarre energy perhaps?
"TRrriissshhh-GUUOORRRRR!" Then another glitch noise but with a more violet tiger-like roar occurred.
"GYAAAaaaaaaahhhh-AAAaaaaaaahhhhaaaah!?" Cheetor clutch his head, as if untold pain reacted that he couldn't control.
The very same reaction happened to the other bots that clutch their heads, unknown amounts of pain occurred. At the same time, beastly bellows and roars echoed that were echoed all over. This went on for a brief moment before both Maximal and Predacon regain themselves.
"Hugh…Hugh…Ugh!?" Cheetor stops to gasp and catch his breath: as he looks at his damage right hand… "Trissh…/Aaaahh!?" Then a spark occurred from the right hand joint as Cheetor yelped from the pain. "Hugh-HUGH!?" He held the right hand, worried over what was happening to him. "Trrissvhmm…/AAaahhhh!?" Cheetor yelps as another spark twitch occurred that he clutch his left leg in pain.
"Gragragraaaurrr…" Then the gurgling noises of a violet beast was heard as if ready to strike. "Biizzzz…" Then without warning, a strange emerald energy was emerging from Cheetor's knee-joint. "GROOUUARRRR!" Then the wild beast roar was heard as Cheetor fell on his knees as if losing consciousness.
"Preds….What….did you….do…?" Larkshot grits his teeth, as he tried to lift his arms up… "TRissh…/AAAahhhhhh!?" But yelps as another spark twitch caused him to clutch his arms in pain.
"This….isn't ours!?" Sky-Byte stated in puzzlement and fear of what's going on. "TRrisshhh…/GYyaaahh!?" Then he yelps from a spark twitch around his destroyed grappler arm which reacted strongly.
"Gragragrager…/Reeeeewwww…/Hiissss…" The other bots suffered spark twitches, but then gurgling violet beast noises were heard all around. "Biizzz…" Suddenly, the strange emerald energy emerged in strange locations on different joints.
"What's….HAPPENING!?" Jackrabbit exclaimed with worry and fear, as if…some unseen force was attacking their bodies…
Another flash from the lightning and thunder blinds our view and switch the scene around a nearby wall. As something flash around the bots, their shadows exhibit signs of strange energy. The energy seem to be...creating beastly images that almost match the beast of each bot's Beast Mode. Whatever was happening, it was an uncontrollable action taking hold of the unfortunate.
AT THIS TIME
AT PREDACON HQ
The scene changes to reveal the storm still continued even when near the sight of the Predacon Ship. We begin to slowly zoom in at the sight before another flash of lightning occurred. Then the scene changes to a liquid fluid from a Restoration CR Pool. And we spot some metallic T-Rex toes wiggling and floating nearby was…a Cybertronian Rubber Ducky!? But just above the spot, we spot…Rampoage at the scenery where Mewgatron was taking a relaxing recovery in his own personal CR Pool. And in the room with Megatron and Rampage was the newest member of the Predacons: Dinobot II.
"You gave THIS the core of my spark?" Rampage protest in anger at realizing in grip fist rage: what Megatron did to his half Spark. "I shall rip it from his chest…" Megatron playfully wave his left hand off, as if not bothered by Rampage's ranting about what he did. "And restore it within MEeeeee!" Rampage proclaimed as he held a left fist to Dinobot II who yelped by the threat. "GRRraurrrgh…" Rampage snarls as if ready to attack and reclaim what's his.
"Grrarrrr…." Dinobot II snarls with his talon blade hands raised up to prepare for battle. "Hmmmm?" Then he hums as if finding something interesting.
Then from dino head/robot chest area, under a sphere lid opened to reveal an area that houses the Spark. It moved up to reveal that there were added attachments to the Spark which aren't normally there.
"Mhmmm-Huummmm!?" Dinobot II hums with intrigue interest before smirking wickedly at Rampage.
"Trisshh…/GAAaaugh!? GAAAAaaaahhhh!?" Rampage yelps from the same energy feedback of what was once Energon that brought harm to his half Spark occur again. "GEEaaaee-Yaahhh-GOooooo-Geeeee….!?" Rampage dropped to his knees, as everyone watch as Protoform-X's body emit the twitch energy pain while it appears Dinobot II had the pink glow from his own Spark. And yet while Dinobot II deals pain to his own Spark, the pain is transfer to Rampage instead of him.
"Hoahahahahhh…" Megatron lets loose an evil laughter as Rampage slowly drops to his knees while clutching his chest. "Gurhahahah…." Rampage looks to Megatron laughing and believes he did something that he could hurt the bot but not hold the half Spark to pressure him: so how? "As you see, that will not be easy." Megatron grimly explained that he made certain that Rampage could not reclaim his Half Spark so easily with the setup defense Dinobot II holds against him. "Besides, only I have the technical knowledge to accomplish such a fusion." Megatron proclaim as he clap his fingers together in having made a key achievement of fusing a Half-Spark into a Blank Protoform to create new life never believed possible.
"Hmmm-Hmmm, Hmmmm?" Rampage moans from seeing once again, he's stuck serving Megatron while his Half-Spark is used by Dinobot II.
For now, you must share." Megatron waved out his arms to express that both Rampage and Dinobot II will share the two halves of one Spark. "I need your new half-brother for another mission." He express the term that since Half of Rampage's Spark is helping Dinobot II to function, they maybe considered Half-Brothers…of the sort. "Dinobot!" Megatron called out to the new Dinobot.
"Hmmm?" Dinobot II hums to look back at Megatron calling him.
"The alien Transmetal Driver." Megatron address the matter of the topic as Dinobot II sealed his Spark Case. "Depth Charge has it... yess." Megatron exclaim with a firm upset tone from recalling who stole the alien driver device. "Get it back." He issue an order to have his new soldier retrieve what was taken.
"GRRRuaarrrrgh!" Dinobot II roared as he transforms from Robot Mode to Beast Mode. "WOoargh!" He let loose a chomp sound from his vicious raptor behavior before turning around to walk out of the chamber.
"Guuraarr-Nrruagh-Waaaaurrrk!?" Rampage still was on the ground, snarling under breath with clutch fist: annoyed by his Half Spark was close yet was out of reach….
"Lord Megatron…" Then entering the chamber, was Fractyl, accompanied by Knock Out, Six Shot and Blitzwing. "We've just finished our search of the area where we held the experiment?" Fractyl explains what they did after the explosion event occurred.
"And?" Megatron asked, awaiting to hear the news.
"We found much of the equipment, it was salvageable." Six Shot stated on having recovered the experiment parts. "However, we run into a problem of being unable to find three other Predacons: Sky-Byte, Igaunas, and Raid Jango." He mention the problem of those that have yet to return or be found.
"Hmmm…I see? But that can wait." Megatron hums a bit while not having much consideration. "What about the Stasis Pods we gathered?" He asked from wanting to know those they want to bring into their army.
"They were scattered around, only suffered minor damage." Cold Blitzwing "BUT THEY WERE ALL EMPTY!?" Rage Blitzwing shouted out loud with anger on what they found.
"WHAT!?" Megatron shouted in shock, the pods were all emptied: how?
"Hahahaha….It's as if everyone inside got up and walked away!?" Crazy Blitzwing laughs off at the ironic matter of how the Protoforms in the pods just disappear without a word.
"But out of those gathered, there should have been many reprogrammed Maximal Protoforms?" Six Shot stated on having counted the number of pods that were reported to be reprogram very early.
"So why have there been no sign of any Predacon response?" Megatron narrows his eyes, wanting a satisfying answer.
"The storm may still be causing problems, or perhaps due to what happen when the Key came in contact with the driver….did something?" Fractyl expressed his thoughts that Aelita's contact with the alien device cause a painful reaction, which caused other problems on getting contact or locating any new active Predacons.
"Hrrrugh….For now, FIND THEM!" Megatron snarled in rage before snapping at those to search for the now active Predacons. "After the success of Dinobot II, besides increasing our numbers, we planned to increase the strength of our current soldiers!" Megatron knew that with Transmetal IIs, not only recruit new soldiers but even place the Spark of those that have not been affected by the Quantum Surge to gain more power.
"Sky-Byte's group came across one extra blank, and it was prepared to be used by…Someone who we found?" Knock-Out reported this issue on having another blank Protoform which was used for another bot in question they recently found.
"Yes, but knowing there's no response, perhaps there is unseen affects?" Megatron held his chin, feeling that there are still more problems then solutions. "For now, find them all! And if any of them are Maximals…Remove them from the equation!" He firmly narrow his eyes, giving the order that any signs of Transformers that weren't reprogrammed: are to be eliminated.
The scene goes dark from those in the chamber slowly took off to begin giving orders to other Predacons to search for the missing bots. But there was still much going on, that none knew what events have yet to be revealed…
BACK AT THE MAXIMAL FORT
"BEEP!" Then some Cybertronian symbols appeared on screen that went from green to red. "Beep-beep, Beep…Beep-beep-beep…" Then some beeping noises were heard before something opened and released steam. It was revealed to be Depth Charge coming out of the large CR Chamber: fully repaired. Deptth Charge was alone when the repairs were done as he inspects to make sure everything was working.
"Attention! Rampage Spark detected nearby." Then a male computer voice alerted Depth Charge that it was detecting Rampage's Spark was close without any warning.
"Where?" Depth Charge silently asked, knowing this was a chance to find his mortal enemy.
"Sub Grid Zarak." The male computer voice inform Depth Charge as he held his Shark Launcher to load it up: ready to go hunting. "Tracking…" The system replied as Depth Charge was seen preparing to head out…
"Depth Charge!?" Then someone was seen approaching the bot, turns out to be Taros.
"Taros, what do you want?" Depth Charge raised an eyebrow on why this bot was here.
"I know that look, you pin-pointed where your target is at. But from what was reported, Rampage's Spark was split in two." Taros exclaim upon knowing what Depth charge was up to, he's going out to find X…but which one?
"Doesn't matter who it is, X is mine. Even if I have to fight some clone with half his Spark to do it." Depth Charge remarked the issue of who his target is, Protofrm-X no matter who's got the Spark.
"Then may I make a suggestion. Allow me to join." Taros offered this advise to partake.
"Why?" Depth Charge raise an eyebrow, puzzled by such an invite.
"Don't forget, your not the only one wanting to get revenge on Protoform-X. If there are two of them, then we each get one." Taros stated that if one enemy has split, then it takes two to deal with twice the problem.
"Hmmm, you make a good argument." Depth Charge held his chin to ponder that his beef was with Rampage, but… "Tell you what, I'll let you have the raptor, Rampage is mine." The guy stated on how he prefers the most to deal with.
"Alright. Then let us go." Taros issue as they best get going now.
"You sure, aren't you suppose to guard the fort?" Depth Charge ponders if leaving the fort unguarded is wise.
"Pass my shift, someone else will take over." Taros stated on knowing when it's a good time to clock out.
With enough said, both Maximals gear themselves up to go out….for the hunt.
OUTSIDE THE MAXIMAL BASE
The scene changes to outside the Blast Doors of the Maximal Fort. As the camera zooms away, we see that things remain dark but there's a huge thick fog around the canyon trail. And we soon spot Depth Charge carefully on the move accompanied by Taros. With so much thick fog it was hard for anyone to find where Rampage was hiding…
"Is it usually this foggy?" Depth Charge ponders about the dense misty fog that's around the canyon.
"The atmosphere and weather are affected from the volcano, this is likely from a rain that afterwards became a mist." Taros stated on how the weather pattern has occurred.
"Great, well it's not the first time I've gone hunting while almost blinded." Depth Charge remarked the issue on how things seem to give him handicaps.
"Be ready, anything could pop out?" Taros stated as they carefully grip their weapons.
Just then, a shadowy figure zipped somewhere in the fog, directly behind the hunting party.
"Hugh!?" Depth Charge looked behind him, and saw nothing… Depth Charge became suspicious, as if the hunter was now the hunted instead…
"Something is here?" Taros stated from looking the opposite direction.
"And moving faster then Rampage ever could." Depth Charge stated on knowing Rampage is all brute force, not much a speedster.
"If it's not X, then it must be…" Taros began to theorize who they are actually tracking but never finished.
"GRAAUUARroowww…" Because without warning, Dinobot II appeared out of the fog to snarl off at the targets. "WAAArrugh!" Then the Transmetal II Raptor launch himself to attack his prey: as everything went dark here…
SOMEWHERE ELSE
AROUND THE EXPLODED MOUNTAIN?
The scene changes to a mountain canyon area, but it was looking a bit…green? There was a flash of light from lightning by a nearby storm. Soon it's discovered that Optimus was out using Cybertronian tech binoculars to help him scout the area more efficiently. Optimus lowered the binoculars, as he signs from apparently coming up empty handed.
"Optimus to Rhinox." Optimus held up his left wrist to him to use the com-link system. "Grid Darcerin complete." Optimus issue to notify his latest search effort. "No sign of Cheetor, or the new Dinobot." The guy register that he hasn't spotted either those mention around the area.
"Optimus…" That's when Optimus turn to see Aelita calling out when she and Jeremie flew down. "Jeremie and I have searched west and east." The girl reports of what they did when they offered to accompany Optimus.
"And still nothing. I'm almost afraid that…" Jeremie was starting to feel uncertain if the others are even…
"Don't give up, if there's answers…we'll find them." Optimus cuts the boy off, knowing that they can't give in without the full facts.
"ROOOARRR-ROOOARRRRR!" Then a wild savage feral beast cry was heard, which made those nearby yelp.
"Optimus, I think that might be sooner then we think?" Jeremie felt a bit concern with worry when hearing such a strange beastly cry. "What was that sound?" The boy asked, trying to rack his brain around it.
"It sounded like an animal, but…at the same time…different?" Aelita slowly stated from an uncertain feeling about what they heard.
"Whatever it is, we better investigate it." Optimus stated firmly on knowing this action requires their attention.
"What about the search?" Jeremie raise an eyebrow, knowing they have not found their missing friends.
"We'll continue, but for now we have to scout ahead." Optimus stated with a calm, but focus mind on what needs to be done.
At this moment, a cautious Optimus decided to transform by jumping in the air and change to Flight Mode. Soon the big bot flies off to inspect the source of that wild beast cry. Jeremie and Aelita felt concern before they took off to join the Maximal Commander and seek out the strange unknown.
MEANWHILE
DEPTH CHARGE'S SITUATION
The scene changes to show Depth Charge, only now one finds the situation….switched. Now we see the bot tied to a tree with four energy restrainers. Apparently the surprise ambush by Dinobot II held the favor to catch one off guard. And apparently Taros was also tied to a tree nearby with the same energy restrainers. Those that were out began to regain consciousness…
"ROOERRr-ROOARRRRH!" Then a wild feral beast cry was heard, which awoke those tied up faster only to realize where they are. But as the noise pass, Dinobot II's attention went from the wild beast sound to who he caught. The Alien Transmetal driver." Dinobot II address to approach Depth Charge with this request. "Grugrugruaahhh….Now." He snarled as he towers a bit over Depth Charge in near height to demand the driver's return.
"Don't have it." Depth Charge shrug off his shoulders, stating with a cocky tone of not having what the enemy wants.
"Hmmmm….?" Dinobot II snorts at having heard such an empty answer. "Too bad for you." Dinobot II pointed at Depth Charge, knowing that without the driver being present now, things will only get harder. "GRRRroo-GRRRUUAORGH!" Then he leans down before transforming from Beast Mode to Robot Mode. "NRRruarroooaagh…." He snarls as if awaiting a chance to deal with this foe.
"Having regrets joining now?" Depth Charge looked to Taros, seeing how joining him ended them in such a state.
"No, but knowing the strength of this new foe will come in handy in future events." Taros stated with a cool and collective attitude despite the danger they're in.
"If there is a future for those that are in delusion like yourselves…" Another voice was heard matching the tone of Knock-Out.
That's when someone else arrived on the scene: turn out to be Megatron accompanied by Six Shot, Scowl, Volga, Blitzwing, Knock Out, Rampage and Quickstrike…
"Oh yeah, the welcome party is here! Get ready for the next round!" Bisk cheered from getting himself excited for this.
"And what do you want with us?" Depth Charge remarked from the Preds coming to greet them, while knowing what they are wanting.
"Oh nothing much, but information will do. Especially what happened at the mountain top." Knock-Out stated on cutting to the chase to bring up a certain subject Depth Charge knows about.
"You mean where your plans blew up in your faces." Taros remarked from having heard the report of those that witness the events.
"Actually, something that only one of you knows." Megatron stated in turning his focus to only one bot in particular.
"Which is?" Depth Charge remotely stated with a cold attitude towards Megatron.
"The little experiment set that made raptor boy there. Course it was scatter from your nasty explosion act." Six Shot pointed out the main issue of the topic here.
"Indeed. The other equipment has been salvaged…" Megatron addresses the manner on what was used in the Transmetal experiment that got blown up. "But you took the alien transmetal unit." Megatron narrows his angry eyes at Depth Charge for taking the main key to the whole Transmetal II experiment a success. "Where is it?" He demands the return of the only thing they couldn't retrieve.
"Gone." Depth Charge simply stated the true fact of the driver's whereabouts. "Ain't that a kick in the lug nuts. Hahahaha…." Even in the face of danger and capture, Depth Charge knew that the enemy wouldn't be satisfied that they went to al the trouble for nothing.
"Ohhh, sick burn." Bisk exclaimed from seeing what Depth Charge went and did with such cocky attitude.
"Heh, snotty little flounder, ain't he. Heh-Heh…" Quickstrike lightly laughs off how Depth Charge can crack jokes when in such a bad situation for his life. "Let me gut him for you, boss." He asked that he wants to take pleasure to beat up the Maximal.
"No, he's Mine." Rampage snapped forth to demand that Depth Charge be left to him. "I shall feast upon his still pulsating spark. As well as the other one!" He gripped his right hand on what he'll do to enjoy killing his mortal enemy. "MIIIIIIiieeenneeee!" He ushered these words, wanting nothing more to make Depth Charge's demise slowly painful.
"ROOARRR-ROOOOARRRRH!" Suddenly, a beastly feral cry was heard that caused everyone to tense up and be alert. "REOOOWWWW!" The echoes of the feral roar still linger, as no one knew where it came from. And from nearby, a shadowy beast-like predator stalks with nothing but it's glowing red eyes. "Grogrogrogrooouuurrrgh…" The deep growling noises it made, as it watches those on the scene… "ROOOwwww…Hiissss…" As the shadowy beast stalks, it began to hiss with a predator ready to strike. "ROOORRR…REEEOOOOOWWWW!" With a low but mighty roar, it charges so quickly at the enemy.
"SLASH!/MUURRAGH!?" The creature slashed across the metal chest that knock a yelping Megatron, followed by Rampage off and Quickstrike against the side.
"Geee-Guuuagh!?" Rampage yelped from the unexpected action
"Hmmmmm?" Dinobot II hums to himself curious of what happened.
"Hugh?" Depth Charge looked around with puzzlement, what just came at them but they couldn't see.
"GRAAAUURRR!/CHOMP!" Then something leaped forth and chomped a piece of Volga's shoulder pad.
"GRAAAaughhh!?" Volga cried out as he clutch where the pain occurred.
"SLASH!/WOooaaahh!?/AAAhhhhh!?" Six Shot and Scowl yelped as something soared pass and slashed their backsides.
"CRASH!/Gaaaaaahhh!?" Blitzwing and Knock-Out felted something ram tackled them from their flank side that knock them down.
"Someone's attacking, but who…or what?" Taros raise a puzzling question of what he and Depth Charge saw while tied up.
"Grrrugh-Huuurgh!?" Megatron clutch his chest plate, as there were sharp claw marks that penetrated his Transmetal body. "Ugh…What Is That…Thing!? It and…those others?" Megatron glares in confusion: no normal creature could move that fast and deal damage to a Transformer so easily: worse, there's more then one.
"I donno, Boss...Some kind of ghost, Hmm-Hmmm?" Quickstrike approached Megatron looking ready for any sudden movements while getting himself eager now. "Or it will be, when I'm done with it!" Quickstrike boasted that when he spots the critter, he'll make it wish it was a ghost. "Gehahahah-Hahahhh…HERE COMES POISON!" He laughs off a crazy tone while cheering like a tough fighter ready totussle. "Gehehehheeee…" He giggled off with joy as the tough cowboy bot rushed off.
"Grrrruaghmm…" Megatron just signs with annoyance at the blind fool's eager to go off fighting what they know little about.
"YEEE-HAAAAH!" Quickstrike cheered as he rushed and jump over a boulder…
"REEOOW-RAAAOOOWWWW!" Then sparks fly as a loud savage cat cry was heard behind the boulder. "REOOW-REOW, RAAOOORRRR!" There was so much wild cat cries that everyone from Predacon and captured Maximal were puzzled what was going on.
"Guuuagh…DOooouagh!?" Quickstrike was seen rolling off to the side, wrestling the unknown beast before rolled them back behind the boulder cover.
"Ouuugh!?" Rampage was puzzled by what it was that they got here.
"Nuuragh!? Hmmm?" Megatron flinched as he held his damaged slash chest, as he watch what would happen.
"REROW-REOW, REOOOOOW!?" Then the sudden savage beast cry went crazy to flip a yelping Quickstrike in the air before falling behind the boulder again.
"WaaaAAAH-UUUGH!?" Then a low yelp of Quickstrike was heard, followed by what was toss pass the boulder: it was the Fuzor's Cobra arm which was torn off the main body…gasped an open mouth and a tooth broke off.
"HUUUUAGH!?" Depth Charge gasped in surprise, whatever's out there…it seems more dangerous then a normal predator. "Guuuagh!?" He tries to get free, but the energy restraint binds kept him tied to a tree.
"WUUUAAa-UURrrragh!?" Rampage moans as he stood up to be near Megatron, Volga, Six Shot, Bisk, Scowl, Blitzwing, Knock-Out and Dinobot II.
"WHOOOO?" Megatron snapped as the Predacons get their weapons ready to open fire: even use search lights to help in the dark.
"Hmmmm?" Dinobot II used his red optic search light to help him see through the dark area.
"REOOOwww…" During the search, the strange savage beast roared to zipped near a tree and rocks.
"Wuagh-WOooarrrugh!?" Rampage aim his blaster, trying to spot where the savage creature will come out next.
"Where is it?" Bisk asked with a worried look.
"Hugh…what's that?" Scowl yelps from the unexpected action.
"REOOR-ARRRRR!" Then another shadowy presence leaped in front of Rampage's sight but vanished. "REOOWWW!" That's when the feral beast leaped when the two lights from Dinobot II and Rampage's weapon came to center, forcing the creature to roar as it charges ahead…
"Fire!" Megatron glared as he immediately gave the order. "Fire!" He repeated himself for his group to open fire without delay.
The Predacons opened fire without delay, trying to hit what was charging at them. "Bam-Bam-Bam…" Rampage continued to open fire with his powerful blaster weapon. "GRrrrrruaarrhh…." Dinobot II snarls as he tries to lock on with his red light from the left optic eye.
"REOOOEWWWWW!/GRAAAAAughh!?" But again the savage beast roared as it clash to knock a yelping Megatron on the ground.
"GRRruagh!?" Rampage yelped as he fired but now…he was in sight of Dinobot II's red light sight.
"BWAAAaugh!?" Dinobot II yelped as he was preparing to fire where his optic eye lock on, but didn't move fast from a flashlight aim at him by Rampage.
"Woah-Oh!?" Bisk yelps when his weapons were about to fire at Scowl.
"Oh Dang…?" Scowl complains as he was in the sights of Bisk.
"No-NO! Not my NEW Paint-Job!?" Knock-Out protest when Six Shot's weapon was aiming at his new shiny paintjob.
"Ah nuts!?" Six Shot signs in knowing this is not gonna be good what hits him.
"POW!" The Predacons fired at each other by mistake, sending them flying across the air.
"GUUOOOaaahhh!?" Rampage made a cry as he flung across the south side.
"GRAARru-AAARRRrraaahhh!?" Dinobot II was wailing in the air as he was shot across to the north side.
"WAAAaahhhh…/AAAahhhhh!?/OOoooohhhh!?/HAaaaaaahhh!?" We also see Bisk, Scowl, Knock-Out, and Six Shot screaming as they too were scattered into four different directions.
"Grruagh!? No, you fools!" Megatron stood up to protest in fury that his own troops blasted each other instead of hitting the creature attacking them. "Grrruagh!?" He groans in rage at such a blunder on his side.
"Hahahah….we end up shooting each other?" Crazy Blitzwing laughs off like a lunatic at their disadvantage. "I find this bothersome?" Cold Blitzwing stated this was serious and no laughing matter.
"SCrreeeeehhh…" Then a beastly bird screech was heard as something flew in the dark night, claws exposed…
"GYAAARRrrrhhh!?" Rage Blitzwing screamed when taken up into the air before thrown across to fall down a canyon cliff.
"Grrrr….FIGHT ME! DEMONS!?" Volga roared in anger, as he held his spear ready to battle whatever was attacking them. "CLASH!/GRAAAHHH!" But then the large bot was tackled by two shadowy things from the upper and down low attack pattern that knock him off a cliff.
"BASH!?" And just like that, the stun Volga fell to hit the pavement below…
"GREAAaaahhh!/Hiiissss…." There were more strange beastly cries, one of a sea beast and the other was possibly a land base critter.
"Grrrrr…." Megatron growls with further annoyance, everyone was taken out…by whatever was attacking them in the dark.
"REEeooowww….REeeooowww…." Then the savage beast battle cry was heard, as only Megatron was left now.
"Nuurrgh-Ooorrrwwhhh!?" Soon Waspinator was seen flying onto the scene in Beast Mode with Q-Bee following behind…
"Reeooowwww!" Then another beast roar cry was heard nearby.
"GRRRuagh!?" Megatron reacted to turn around with a charge Tail-Grappler.
"POW…/BAM!" Of course what Megatron fired upon was a poor unfortunate Waspinator minding his own busy. "BEEEEEEeeiiiiihhhh!?" The wasp bot screamed as he was knock out of the area, as the insect wings were left behind before dropping on the ground.
"Waspinator!? Wait for meeeeee…?" Q-Bee immediately chased after Waspinator who had no wings to help him fly…
"Hmmmm…?" Megatron realized who he hit, and shook his head: he was certain that was the creature instead of his own foolish Predacons joining at this late hour.
But what Megatron didn't know, was that same creature was charging at lightning fast speed while his back was turn…
"CLANK!/GRRRAH!?" Megatronm yelped as something knock into him a third time. "JAB!/Biizzzzz…" And without warning, Megatron's Tail-Grappler got stuck in the ground and because of the fast attack, caused himself to spin around faster…? "GRRRAAaahh!?" And wasn't long before Megatron spun like a brown with purple line pattern tornado!? "WAAAAAAaaaaaaahhhh!" In fact it almost looks like a mini tornado that spun and cut across a nearby rock. "WARRRRRAAAaaaahhhEEeeeeehhhhh!?" The guy continued to scream as Depth Charge and Taros watches with puzzlement and confusion at this…funny display act. "GRRRAAa-GRROOOAAAAhhh!?" Megatron contiunue to spin across the field until he reach the edge of a cliff, and… "HUGH!?" While free of the spinning tornado part, he gasped upon realizing where he was when looking down then up again. "GRRAAUUUARRgh…./SPLAT!?" Megatron fell down a deep canyon screaming before he hit the ground hard which made a cloud of dust.
The weirdest thing was that the entire thing of spinning tornado, cutting objects, the bottom cliff and falling splat stuff looked straight out of a CARTOON!?
"Urrrragh!?" Megatron was seen at the bottom of the cliff trying to get up with a dizzy Dinobot II laying nearby. Then the sound of a trumpet noise gave way of what the next action was about to take place for the losing side… "Re... treat..." Megatron mutter these defeated works to his soldiers.
"Hurmm-ARrughh!?" Dinobot II moans as he tried to get up as best he could.
But in the end, the Predacons fell into an unconscious state: having been beaten beyond imagination. And back above where currently Depth Charge and Taros remain in the hostage tied to a tree state, looked around cautiously.
"Hugh…Hugh?" Depth Charge tried to look around, as now there was no one around in the darkness of the night with only night critters making noises. "Huuugh…?" Depth Charge signed, unsure if he was safe with the Preds gone, or in bigger trouble now.
"Do you think it only wanted the enemy?" Taros question on what just happened.
"For now, I just hope it or they….had enough." Depth Charge stated on knowing it's only safe when thedanger has left.
"I wouldn't be too sure…?" Taros stated on looking back with a cautious tone.
"Hugh?" Then a twig branch was broken that cause Depth charge to look around with alertness: someone was watching from afar.
Those looking around the area, in the darkness there was rocks and trees. But the strange savage beast's red eyes were seen where those taken hostage could see. First the creature was between two crack large rocks, but in an instant moved to the right side near more rocks, then moved again instantly vanishing by a fallen tree. Depth Charge tried to see where the beast blending in darkness was act, but could do nothing in a tied up state.
"Huugh-Huuuagh!?" Depth Charge yelps from looking all over, uncertain where the beast was lurking from next.
"Hmmm….over there!?" Taros suddenly noticed something just around the corner of their view.
"GUuurrrrrr…Grugrugruaaahhh…" Then the mysterious beast leans out, it's eyes focus on what's ahead while snarling some more.
Slowly the beast of the darkness moves like a four-legged feral wild cat as it leaves the hiding spots to approach the trap Maximals. Through closure examination, the beast appears to be a mixture of Transmetal and Organic, it almost resembles a black saber-tooth tiger? This thing that was a blend of cyber tech and flesh, it seem like….some kind of Cyber Mutant!?
"GEOOrrr-Raarrr…REEEOOOORRRR!" It growls it watches and then the Cyber Mutant approaches it's sharp fangs near Depth Charge who tilt the head one side. "Grugrugruaarrgh…." The beast seem ready to attack without mercy when…
"Depth Charge! Taros!" Optimus' voice was heard that broke the attention here: as the big bot flies down.
"GRUUOORRRHH!" The Cyber Mutant roars as it dropped off Depth Charge from the new arrival. "REOWWWW-OOOOwwww!" The beast roared as it dashed off into the darkness.
Optimus transforms to Robot Mode before slamming down feet first to the ground. Optimus lands near Depth Charge and Taros to make sure those captive are safe.
"Energy Sphere!" Aelita's voice was heard when she announced her attack. "BREAK!" From that attack, it destroyed the energy restraints that kept Taros to the tree.
"Hmmm….thanks for the assistance." Taros exclaim as he felt his arms and legs freed.
"No problem. We heard a lot of weapons fired and came to investigate. Seems we're not far off." Jeremie stated that all the noise and explosives were spotted from the distance while nearby.
Jeremie and Aelita slowly worked to free Depth Charge, while Taros got into a defensive position with Optimus. The Maximals looked at the strange cyber creature…
"Grugrugrugruaarrr…." The Cyber Mutant growls as it stood on a rocky slope watching those with it's glowing eyes. But it was soon joined by other shadowy creatures: a bird resting on a branch, a sea beast on the ground with a tiny furry creature on top. They all had the same red glowing eyes as if they were a pack…of predators.
Optimus firmly stares off at the strange creatures, as if trying to study what it was…an enemy or something else?
"Gurrr-REOOOOwwwww!" Then the Cyber Mutant roared as it leaps off the rocky slope to leave the scene. And then the other three silently followed the creature to disappear as well.
Wasn't long before Depth Charge was free from the restrains: thanks to Jeremie and Aelita. But there were many questions on what everyone just encounter…
"What was that thing?" Depth Charge looked to Optimus, unsure what helped him out when the Preds had him.
"I don't know…I wish I knew what it…or they really are?" Optimus stated his option, somewhat bothered by what was seen.
"Thanks for the save, I suppose even a guard needs one to watch their back." Taros thanks those that came to his and Depth Charge's rescue.
"Glad we can help, but lets get back to the fort." Jeremie suggested this before they encounter anymore problems. "You coming Aelita?" The boy noticed that Aelita seem a bit lost in her own thought…
"Oh, um…yes…" Aelita replied after coming back to reality: but the girl felt something strange was here that was….familiar?
The scene went dark, but everyone was still uncertain of what had happen. Because no one knew it at the time, that the appearance of a new threat now exist in the form…of a beast.
LATER
AT THE MAXIMAL FORT
We see Rhinox opened the door portion of the Blast Doors to exit the fortress along with Longrack, Jack-Tool and Trans-Mutate. Afterwards, one saw Optimus in Beast Mode nearby. With the Maximal Commander, was the Lyoko Warriors who seem lost in thought.
"Hey, glad you guys could join us." William greeted those that came out.
"So did you get the word out?" Yumi asked about what was done.
"Yeah, about the Cyber Mutant Beast sighting?" Odd stated on having mention the name.
"Cyber Mutant Beast, really Odd?" Ulrich raise an eyebrow from the given name choice.
"Well, what Jer, Aelita and Optimus saw thinks they might be something like those Cyber Raptors, right?" Odd stated on giving his explanation on a good name pick.
"He's not wrong. If there are others different, it's hard to understand them without the risk of running into them." Longrack "Considering how a group of Predacons stood no match against something they were unprepared against."
"For now, we done what we could. We got through to the others." Rhinox spoke up about what's been done on their side: which was reaching to other Maximals and allies. "They've been warned about the creatures…Whatever it or they are." He issued from not knowing what the Cyber Mutants were, but all Maximals are advise to be careful if they encounter it.
"Or who..." Optimus looked away from his deep thought about the Cyber Mutants: that he felt something off about what he saw.
"What?" Rhinox looked to Optimus, uncertain about what his commander was saying.
"Nothing." Optimus shook his head, deciding now was not the best time to go over second thoughts of the manner.
"Optimus, are you sure your alright?" Trans-Mutate asked the commaner with a worried tone. "You might still be a bit uneasy from what's happen before?" Artemis spoke through from thinking Optimus still had other things bothering him.
"I suppose there's that, but we need to prep our own situation." Optimus stated the matter on where they need to focus attention towards. "Silverbolt and Blackarachnia are combing sector Tallories." Optimus stated on recalling those that are already out performing a mission task. "You all join Rattrap in..." Optimus was about to give Rhinox a new order when…
Without warning, the base's alarms were going off. That pretty much cut in on the whole discussion they were having.
"Hugh!?" Rhinox looked ahead as he seem to gasp in shock.
"Huugh!?" Optimus also gasped when he looked straight ahead.
"Ugh…" Jack-Tool looked so shocked he was lost for words.
"Ahh…?" Trans-Mutate and Artemis each replied in the same gasp voice in sync.
Soon the Maximal Fort's search lights flash down in detecting movement towards the base. But unlike the last one from the air, this one came from the ground.
"Urragh-Aaarrgh!?" Soon someone was seen struggling to slowly move to look at the fort. "Grrruhm….Aaaurgh…" The bot in question was Cheetor, who just barely made it back in his damage state.
"Cheetor?" Optimus mutter under his breath in surprise puzzlement: could this be real.
"Optimus, look….behind…?" Longrack muttered in shock at what else was seen that was hard to believe.
While everyone saw Cheetor, slowly approaching him was three other familiar sights. They were Larkshot, Cybershark, and Jackrabbit, the missing bots were together!?
"Uuuugh-ugh…" Cheetor was wobbling to help pick himself up to move, even held an injured left leg… "Uuuurrragh!?/CLANK!" Then moaning in pain, Cheetor completely collapsed on sight.
"Uuuughhhh…/CLANK!?" After Cheetor fell, so too did Cybershark, Larkshot and Jackrabbit collapsing on sight.
"Cheetor!" Jackrabbit! Cybershark! Larkshot! Optimus cried out surprise when seeing his crew fell.
No sooner did Optimus and those with him rush over to the sight. Cheetor seem to struggle to lift his head up, but he dropped it again while falling a bit unconscious. The other injured bots began to slowly lose consciousness as Cheetor did. The Maximals and children stop inches from those that seem badly damaged, but somehow made it back a long journey in such a condition.
"Goodness…did they really come back…like this?" Sissi exclaim in feeling speechless to believe this was real.
"Ugh…?" Jackrabbit let loose a moan as everyone was talking.
"Jackrabbit!?" Jack-Tool kneels down to gently lift the smallest cadet up to be near the face. "What happen, where were you? Why didn't you try contacting us?" The guy sounded worry for the youngest cadet, uncertain how this was possible.
"We gotta get some to the CR Chamber. Notify Dive-Bomb and the other medics for…" Jeremie requested they treat the others as fast as possible when…
"NOOOO!" Cheetor suddenly was awoke when having heard such a thing that shock the others. "No….just…no…" The cadet moans in pain to say this stuff.
"Cheetor?" Aelita raise an eyebrow, confused by this sudden demand to not be treated.
"Just….let our…self-repairs…do the rest…" Cheetor muttered weakly this request which was hard to swallow.
"Cheetor, internal repairs are for slow healing work. For a faster method, you need…" Longrack couldn't understand why anyone didn't want a quicker fix-up to work at 100 percent.
"PLEASE!...We can't…" Cheetor exclaim as it begging on a last leg. "We don't…want to…" The young cadet exclaim weakly as he slowly drifted off into unconsciousness.
"Urgh, he's right…" Larkshot suddenly was heard as he tilt his head to speak softly. "Just…let us…rest in our quarters, sir…ugh…" He stated this while having passed out on the spot.
"What?" William was lost that the others were requesting the same thing as Cheetor to not get repaired by CR Chamber or by a medical bot.
"Pant….Cheetor helped us, while I admit….we're in bad shape…" Cybershark pants to push himself up to admit these things which left many confused. "But we wish to use them only when we're in…Stasis-Lock. You never know….what could take advantage of our weaken…state, ugh…" Without anymore strength left, Cybershark passed out to hit the floor.
"Who would, you mean those Cyber Mutant Beast?" Odd asked thinking maybe the thing that take advantage was the strange creature and it's pack.
"Yeah…Just….let us be, whatever's out there…we barely…" Jackrabbit looked up to the others, as she weakly stated something here. "Made it through…but can't remember…how…..um…" After that, the youngest cadet fell into an unconscious state like the other bots.
"Jackrabbit….everyone!?" Aelita called out as the girl was very worried. "They passed out?" She stated that everyone that was injured, couldn't keep themselves awake any longer.
"This is strange, we heard they didn't make it, but now this? Coming back from the mountain on foot and being this damaged? Just what's going on?" Jeremie was completely at odds end, trying to make sense the logic of what they are witnessing here.
There was a lot of questions, they heard about what happen to Cheetor and the rest, but assumed the worse. Even when searching for signs no one found anything, but if anyone survive a blast would be badly damage that they couldn't make it back. Rhinox, Longrack, Jack-Tool and Trans-Mutate looked to Optimus with concern, uncertain how anyone could make it under such injuries. Even the Lyoko Warriors looked to the commander, feeling that something about this felt off. Optimus stared down silently, feeling that there was a lot going on. And the Maximal Commander didn't know yet, but he felt that deep down: the mystery of Cheetor, Jackrabbit, Larkshot, and Cybershark surviving may lead towards more changes then anyone would believe…

NOTES: This begins the introduction of Transmetal IIs. During the progress, we learn about how the Transmetal Driver can be capable of creating Transmetal IIs while in the past, the Quantum Surge created Transmetals and Fuzors that affected certain bots and Protoforms in Stasis Pods.
In the comic version, many bots from Stasis Pods had gain Transmetal II forms. Very tricky to know how that was done if the Transmetal Driver was not around during that time.
In the original episode, only Dinobot II and Cheetor are reveal to become Transmetal IIs. The birth of a new Dinobot, and Cheetor accidentally turning into a Transmetal II.
*To make this story exciting, I narrow down certain OCs that would also get caught in the accident event. More things about what happened to them will be reveal later on. With the exception of Igaunas and Cybershark, but we already know what their Transmetal II forms are gonna be.
Transmetal II Plot Works: (So Far...)
*Spread Effect: Created plot of how any bot can gain a Transmetal II was made in this Fanfic. This includes Aelita making contact with an alien object that cause a strange reaction of her ability. Very similar to what was done in Season Two's first beginning intro with the Quantum Surge. One can imagine that Aelita's unique Key ability and the Transmetal Driver cause a similar Quantum Surge affect around the inactive pods (and outside around the planet).
*Use Of Blank Protoforms: A future plot of introducing Transmetal II bots. Focus the idea of Megatron planning to create a stronger army by making them Transmetal IIs, be it reprogramming, or even using Blank Protoforms to place those not strong enough to gain power. Hence the plot to gather many pods in a location after Dinobot II was perfected. This fills the effort of reprogramming events of future Predacons.
Discovering New Bots: Down the line, there will be introductions of new Predacons and Maximals. The focus was how it can be done? After gathering a large number of pods, the idea that the explosion off the mountain that scatter everything and everyone from the experimental disaster became the key. While the number was never mentioned, this allows for chance encounters of meeting those that could be Maximal or Predacon.
Beast Virus: Many recall what happen to Cheetor when caught in the experiment, so I thought about how the strange green energy which triggers a beastly takeover could play a role. A role where other Transmetal IIs suffered under this affect. Which fills in a part of why many pods were found empty. So given this strange energy affect a name will play an intriguing role down the lane.
Future Original Chapters: After Feral Screams, I'll prepare a special two part original work that brings forth a lot of new Transmetal IIs. But just in case more fans want more new OC Transmetal IIs, I might have a way to squeeze them into a far future two-part work. And prepare something like a Bonus Chapter of reviewing a list of old OCs to go down and lookover for certain subjects of those switching to be Maximals and their Fates as previously mention.
Well that's enough about that, I think everyone understands what I'm trying to prepare now. There might be some things I haven't answered, but we may come across that down the lane. For now, I think this has everyone at the edge of their seats!? For the next chapter, things should be peaceful with those believed were gone are back. But peace is cut short when one encounters a new type of Transmetal IIs: in mutated beast forms of feral creatures. But the real truth is, that those that attack the Maximals, are victims of the Transmetal Tower experimental blast explosion which has change them. When Megatron learns of his tech in Maximal hands, he begins to strike. And even when it seems all things are well now, when those very close get hurt only trigger the new Transmetal II Maximals to take a stand. But can they fight the feral beast that's taken them over, or can there be a power to help those break what's trapping friends in their beast modes.
